Designer Spotlight: William Eubanks....I may have a new favorite!

Good morning......feeling about 20% better, still have a ways to go, so inside I stay for yet another day. Thanks so very much for all your kind wishes and advice on quick remedies...am trying it all! On the bright side, I get so excited when I discover a new designer whose work really appeals to me. William Eubanks is capable of decorating in several styles but its clear that opulent and luxurious interiors is where he really shines, and on a grand scale.  I also like different designers for different things. Some I would love for a beach house, for their clean, fresh and crisp style. Some for a city apt where they inject a clean, sleek and uncluttered decor. Yet another if (and hopefully when) I get that rustic farmhouse on a fabulous piece of farmland that I have always dreamt about,I would look for someone who has a fierce command of the rugged, rustic yet toned down elegant style.

And then there would be yet another designer, for my dream house..... and that is where William Eubanks comes into the room. Leave behind average, vanilla and normal......in walks decadence, luxury, opulence and fabulousness at its best. William Eubanks operates offices out of New York, Palm Beach and Tennessee. Even if this is not your personal style, it is clear to see how very talented this designer is....do you have a favorite room? I love how there is so much to see in every room, every room is lush and full of interesting objects of art, blue and white oriental pottery, lots of paintings, rich tapestries, antique rugs, rich mill work....the details go on and on. For me, its hard to choose just one!
I love how he uses the blue and white in almost every room he decorates. Be sure to look at the bottom of my post at the giveaway taking place, Friday, Feb.18th!

  4. Thanks for sharing these pictures.

I just found your blog and I think it is really refreshing to see something else than the usual white/country/vintage style (even though I am also guilty of that) just for inspiration. The style here isnt really my style, but it surely is a source of inspiration and some of those rooms looks SO elegant...

    Thanks for sharing!

  13. I have been enjoying all of your posts. Two favorites. This one. I absolutely love his work. So timeless, no fads here. Reminds me a lot of Charles Faudree's work with a little more glamour. Also love the post progressions of your new home. It's about time to do another update, don't you think?

  15. Tina,

I really enjoy Eubanks creativity with estate, mansion, castle, feel of design. Antiques, rich colors and textured fabrics, objects de collection, beautiful art and lighting all create an opulent sensation within a home. Grand, exclusive and perfect in every way yet. Simply magnificent.

  18. Hi Tina,
Your blog is beautiful! This cannot be your first picnic...you seem like a pro. I think I could benefit from getting to know you. ; ) You could give me some blogging advice. Oh, and I would love to win that chair. I am familiar with Safavieh Home Furnishings. I just attended the Las Vegas Furniture show where they have a showroom. How did you get hooked up with them...I'm impressed! I look forward to your posts, and the progress of your new home. How exciting!

  21. William R.Eubanks has been around for quite some time creating some of the most decadent (but, to me, liveable) rooms. I believe he continues to maintain offices here in Memphis, TN. He used to live in a beautiful mansion in one of the most beautiful historic districts here, and I believe this home was on the National Historic Register. This particular home & his New York apartment were featured many years ago in Veranda (or Southern Accents, but I believe it was Veranda magazine) and is worth researching to see the photos.
