Many of you have asked not only about Teddy but about the dogs that attacked him. At this point there is not a lot of new information to share with you, the owner who vowed "he would do anything and everything" initially hasn't even stepped up to the plate now to pay the bill which is several thousands of dollars so we now know the kind of person we are dealing with! We have a court date mid May where we will go along with the family of the other dog. It is unconscionable to me and what his dogs did proves they are incredibly dangerous and not fit to be domesticated animals. We have a lot of support behind us. You can be sure I will continue to update you in the meantime. I will not be satisfied until they are put down or taken away. Every time I look at Teddy and his still open wounds and stitches or think of the other family, it validates my feelings. Without sounding like a broken record, thank you so so much for your prayers, kindness and well wishes. I am convinced they helped Teddy in his successful recovery.
William Eubanks has mastered the art of using them!
How beautiful is this room? One of my faves! Cathy Kincaid
And who would have thought of them for the bathroom...but wow is this a home run!
Martha Stewart
Love an oversized bracket like these flanking the fireplace.....stunning!
LOVE the way this pair of brackets frames this fabulous window! Cathy Kincaid at it again....
Charlotte Moss is one designer of many who uses them often, look how much they add to this living room wall
An oversized pair flanking a large piece of furniture is a great way to display a beautiful set of jars or porcelains, Mary McDonald
How about this incredible artful display? A showstopper! Betty Gertz
Joe Minton chose a pair in wood to match the console for this elegant front entry
Love them here in a fabulous room done by William Eubanks
Another one of my favorite rooms by Cathy Kincaid, who used tonal brackets that highlight the blue and white porcelains beautifully
They are used beautifully and with a very dramatic effect displaying a collection of busts, Topsyturvy style
A grouping of them are done beautifully in this room by Thomas Burak
Bracket nirvana.....great way to display a collection too! Mrs. Blandings
Nicky Haslam chose brackets to display this magnificent plate collection
Love the clean crisp elegance this grouping of brackets affords this fabulous bedroom, just wouldnt' want to have a nightmare and wake up with arms flailing! Thomas Burak
How amazing do these look against the steel gray painted wall? Fabulous! Robert Goodwin
They really do add so much to a wall......imagine them here without them.
Even in a room that feels a little cleaner/more transitional, a pair works beautifully, Pinterest
I like the way Daryl Schmitt used a pair on either side of the bed to hold a monochromatic pair of plates in this luscious bedroom
Think in a bedroom done in the same color as the walls, its a subtle but really beautiful accent, HB
So what do you think? Like? Love? If you scroll back up and imagine some of those rooms without them, you will then realize the impact that they can have. Whether its a pair or a grouping, they are a fabulous way to showcase pretty porcelains, a busts or a collection of some sort. I am a pretty big fan.......now onto the ones I am going to be carrying since so many of you asked, would love to know your thoughts!
Speaking of my store.......lovely Elizabeth of one of my favorite blogs, Pretty Pink Tulips did a short post today on the gardenia crystal hurricane candles she bought from me..thank you Elizabeth! Which reminds me.......I just got them back in after being sold out (same ones as at the Ritz Carlton) And as Elizabeth pointed out, these would make a beautiful Mothers day gift!! Thanks Elizabeth!
Hoping you all have a fabulous day. Glad the temps are down a few notches today....yesterday almost hitting 90 was just a little too much too soon for me. 70's is just right! Enjoy.....
Good morning, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about what you're dealing with. I can't believe the owner of the "wild" dogs (can't find another word for their behavior) isn't paying the bills. That's the LEAST he can do at the moment. That's just wrong.
Now, this is a stunning post and I love every item you've shared with us.
Thank you!!!
Have a very blessed week, my friend!

Good morning to you Tina,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that Teddy continues to heal, you are so right about the powers of love and prayers.
I cannot believe that now you have to deal with an owner as wicked and irresponsible as his dogs are wild. Justice will prevail.
The brackets are beautiful. I love the Martha Stewart image of the bathroom, I would never have thought of that. Each room is more beautiful than the next.
And your brackets for the shop are amazing, what a beautiful assortment.
I hope you have a wonderful day, Elizabeth
Sadly the same thing happened in our neighborhood last night: two large dogs escaped their backyard and killed another neighbors' little terrier. Animal control promptly came and took the dogs away. It was a pretty grim scene when the husband came home from work and walked hand-in-hand with his wife down the street to talk to the victim's family.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the bracket ideas. I bought a bracket two weeks ago and I have been trying to figure out what to do with it now!
Dear Tina, Love using brackets. Those you have chosen for your store are especially beautiful. I don't like seeing them used above a bed. They look so precarious. So happy to hear that Teddy is improving. I'm sorry to hear that your neighbors are not cooperating and doing the right thing without you having to go through an expensive legal process.
ReplyDeleteTina, I am sorry to hear that this guy isn't taking and accoutability for what happened and I agree you, now know what you are dealing with and it is a shame.
ReplyDeleteI love corbels and brackets.
Take care,
Cynthia
Tina just heartbreaking that someone could have a dog like that and not take responsibility.
ReplyDeleteI adore sconces. I do prefer them in a pair, as a grouping of many just looks too fussy for my own style.
Love the Ritz Carlton candles!

i am gaga over that collection of busts and that romantic airy room!!! also the Betty Gurtz installation. i have no brackets at the moment but i love how they elevate just about anything to importance. i can imagine a fancy one with one of our old worn baseballs resting on it!
ReplyDeletei am with you still in thoughts and prayers for your pup. keep the positive energy and winning spirit flowing!
love to you.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE corbels!! I was needing a little affirmation before I reintroduced them into my dining room. Today's blog was just the encouragement I was looking for.
ReplyDeleteAgain, I happy to hear of Teddy's continued improvement and saddened by the response of the attackers owner.
Tina, one of my all time favorites is the Dining room designed by Cathy Kincaid. I saw this showhouse in Dallas and it was beyond fabulous. I am loving the candles and will definitely be ordering these soon. Best to your family as you continue the process for Teddy.

Tina,
ReplyDeleteI saddened by the behavior of the owners of the 3 bully dogs and I hope they are forced to take responsibility for the harm they've done.
The brackets you've shown us are great. I would love a slightly simpler set for my smallish cottage. But I realize I may be in the minority. I think there is a strong need for affordable brackets and I'm sure this item (all styles) will be a winner.
Karen
Tina-I am in love with the first bracket that you will carry, and all of these images are gorgeous. I am pinning away today.
ReplyDeleteI hope that they take care of the dogs. They don't need to be allowed to continue their dangerous mode.
Happy Tuesday.
Teresa

Tina- thank you for carrying them. I assure you I will be one of the first sales! I love all the ones you are carrying. So beautiful. I have always loved this look and want to buy about 6 of them for my dining room to exhibit some Majolica I inherited from my mother in law..some important and really beautiful pieces. This post has confirmed how beautiful they look in a dining room. So thank you.
ReplyDeleteHorrible about the lack of action on the dog owners part, despicable really. I just cannot imagine someone being that irresponsbile. So sorry that you have to go through all that but the good news is Teddy, the sweet dog that he is is doing so much better.
Great rooms showcasing brackets. I love the first bracket you will selling in your store!
ReplyDeletewww.donnaviningblog.com
First, I love brackets. Any shape, finish or size. You have done a wonderful blog about them.
ReplyDeleteNow, to the important stuff. Have you contacted your insurance? Homeowners policy should help cover Teddy's expenses. They will contact the neighbors and their homewoners policy holder.
Don't lose faith. The dogs need to be put down. After they have attacked and have the taste, they will do it again.
Just FYI
Sandra Jensen
LOVE!!! Adds so much to a wall! Love the ones with the plates and the blue! Such great ideas! THANK YOU!! Praying for Teddy!!! I have 2 dogs and can't even imagine!!!
ReplyDeleteoxox
I forgot, I have a pair of the 3rd bracket. Mine are huge and I love them. I might need another pair.
ReplyDeleteSandra
Tina, some people are just down right rude and uncaring! Sandra above sounds like she knows what she is talking about.
ReplyDeleteBrackets, Funny, I love how they look, but I have never used them. I lean towards the simpler ones, but it would determine what the room looks like.
I love corbels and we had some on our living walls but they had to come down since I kept smacking into them. Just place them where you can't walk into them! They are so beautiful and would look great with your blue and white pottery Tina.

Debra~
I just LOVE a good bracket! I have a dozen throughout my house, and have been threatened if I buy another one! I'm thinking that's a bluff worth calling though, don't you?
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love, love blue and white on the walls. I have a collection of blue and white plates in a small wall on my dining room, but hubby is not fond of the look, so I will do something that dosn't bother him much, as this is his house too. I also have an antique chest filled with blue too. Just love it! I will pray for Teddy. We lost our pug Ben almost 2 years ago and I still miss him so. Hope you come and visit me, I am your beautiful home's No.1 fan! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteFABBY
Loved your post about brackets ---which made me think of an article from some time ago (see link below) where Eddie Ross used two antique corbels for bed hangings----I thought that was super clever! What do you think?!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.eddieross.com/eddie_ross/biography/
Lovely post!! I absolutely love wall brackets!!
ReplyDeletewww.donnaviningblog.com
I looked at these at the flea markets many times and I love them! I really like the second and third samples you showed...love their old world charm!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, - Wow, what a beautiful collection of pictures - you really see the impact of what the decorative wall brackets can do! I love them!! I especially love the first 3 that you are listed that you are looking to have in your store!
ReplyDeleteTina, love the brackets--all of them! Please put them in the store ASAP! :)
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I am so saddened by the anger directed at the pack of dogs, and the voices clamoring to kill them. The dogs are not at fault here--their owners are. The dogs may well not be vicious; they are likely just the victims of pack mentality and are probably not neutered. They should be separated and put in the hands of qualified trainers or rescue groups who can assess whether they are truly vicious or just grossly mismanaged.
My heart breaks for Teddy and the owners of the dog who was killed--they are the victims of these stupid owners. I hope the court suitably punishes these people and takes steps to rehabilitate their dogs. Rushing to kill the dogs results in grossly unfair "vicious breed" legislation that doesn't do a thing to help prevent incidents like this--I guarantee you they will just have 3 more bad dogs next week. But if stupid owners had to pay MANY THOUSANDS of dollars in fines and compensation and risk seizure of goods and property (or better yet, jail time), they will think twice.
I am so very sorry Teddy has to suffer because of these stupid people. If their dogs are this bad, what are their children like??
GRC, I was startled by Tina's comment that she wouldn't be satisfied until the dogs were put down, so I want to thank you for lending this perspective.
DeleteWhat happened to Teddy was terrible, but dogs are not people, and any dog - regardless of breed - has the potential to do what these dogs did under the right circumstances. Dogs don't have the same moral/social code that we have and they don't know that what they did was appalling, they were simply acting on some instinct for reasons unknown to us. The owners need to be held accountable for this, financially and otherwise, but the dogs should be evaluated before such drastic measures are taken.
I have two dogs and I can only imagine how I would feel if one of them was attacked by a neighbor dog, but I hope I would still be able to keep this perspective.
GRC, I think this was a point well raised---especially as I commented about the need to put these dogs down---even though I am a huge dog lover and have two newfs! You are so right about dog ownership and if you watch shows like the Dog Whisperer you see that "bad" ownership results in bad behavior---I especially liked your two related points of large fines to the owners and the fact they would just get more "bad" dogs....I also think it was brave of you to voice your viewpoint given that everyone seemed (including me!) to immediately go to the action of putting the dogs down...
DeleteI am CRAZY for the blue and white, although I like all that you show here! DO carry them in the store...they will sell, sell, sell!
ReplyDeleteAnd as a longtime dog rescuer in Dallas, I must wholeheartedly agree with GRC Ltd's comments about the dog owners being the real problem. I am sick for Teddy and your family and the other family whose dog was brutally killed. Going after the dogs is the kind of thing that results in Breed Specific Legislation which we, as rescuers, are vehemently against. It is the PEOPLE who should be held responsible. I continue to keep all of your families and all dogs everywhere in my prayers.
I love shelves, brackets etc, but I have to admit I have a very hard time of what to top them with , like the scale. I also am not sure how high to place them. I never have a hard time placing framed art to get the best look but Im, never sure about the shelves. Thanks for the example today, that helps but is there a rule of thumb? Especially using only one. I see them often as singles not pairs for sale. I have a very beautiful one on a wall close to a mirror that is the same height and it balances that wall well but I have tried a lot of different things on top and none have given me the tingle!! Give Teddy a kiss from me!
ReplyDeleteI always love the look of brackets and yet often lack the confidence to commit them to my own walls. These photos are amazing examples to look to, as they show so many ways they can be beautifully incorporated into different types of decor.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the ones you have chosen to carry - all gorgeous.
And, you are sweet to mention me today. I love the other shape I got from you as well....just couldn't resist the tulip shape for today's post!
Enjoy another banner day!!!
xoxo Elizabeth
Like them, in Canada they are hard to find, and they are expensive, looking forward to seeing them in your store!
ReplyDeleteZoe
Sorry to hear about the latest developments in your ordeal. I seem to remember you mentioning this guy was a lawyer. That's probably part of the problem. He doesn't want to pay up because that would be admitting his guilt. He's probably trying to come up with an angle to put the blame partially on you (your dog was off leash, etc., etc.). That's how this man whose dog bit a senior citizen on our street behaved. Denied everything, blamed the lady. (She put her hand up when the dog approached and he took it as a sign of aggression...!!!) He crushed the bone in her thumb. That dog is still around. The lady won't walk her bichons on the street, she drives elsewhere to walk them.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm glad poor Teddy is on the mend. And the brackets are lovely! I'm trying to find a way to put some up in my house. I love the symetry they provide.
Hi my friend,
ReplyDeleteI love them! And I love when you pick so many unique things for your store! But unfortunately I can't use them at my house since I live in Earthquake land! Unless I just put antique books on mine... Always a thought...
When it comes to your neighbors I am actually chocked that they have not done something about their dogs already. Teddy wasn't the only horror episode it sounded like and they also have their own kids to think about! I am sure it will work itself out.

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that Teddy is recovering. With regard to your court case, may I suggest that you take some photographs of the injuries that Teddy suffered for proof that this was a very vicious attack. It may not be necessary but I don't think it can do any harm to have as much proof as possible & hopefully the judge will
agree these dogs need to be removed from your community.
Good luck
Barbara
Beautiful! However, whenever I've hung up brackets...they seem to intrude and I immediately take them down! Why do they look so lovely in the photos, yet....they don't seem to work for me? Also, how does one secure the item on the bracket?
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear about Teddy, but I cannot believe animal control did not remove those animals. That is outrageous.
ReplyDeleteNow to the brackets, I LOVE them.
XO Victoria
Hello Tina, ok this is very helpful to me .. I have some empty walls in the house that we just moved into...and my Dining room could use brackets, I think they are HARD to FIND and I found only 1 in the past 3 years that I like ...similar to the gold ones you show, I love the stone like one (third from the top) a lot! Yes you probably would be doing well if you carry them in your shop, as you also carry blue white porcelain vases and plates etc. that are perfect for it!
ReplyDeleteI love the Kathy Kincaid dining room pictues...and lalso Charlotte Moss ...that room creates the right feel for me somehow! The bathroom from Martha Stewart is amazing...I am trying to create something like that but with candelabras (: over my tub. Thanks for the inspirration AGAIN!! hugs Z
Oh Tina, This stole my heart. What great images you've shared. That wall with the tree fit with shelves and blue pieces is so unique and so tasteful! I love it! I just realized you're not on my sidebar...adding you now!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing so much beauty with us!
Nancy
p/s I usually put at least a pair in my wallscapes with a piece on them. In fact, the dining room pic you used of mine a couple months back has a pair there. I think they add so much dimension and texture to walls!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you-I love brackets- and I want the first 2 shown! Can't wait to see them in your store.
ReplyDeleteA very cool way to display your most important treasures, I can imagine placing finds from around the world on brackets!
ReplyDeleteTina I am also bonkers for brackets! Love them, have four in my dining room and was just thinking of adding some to my living room. I LOVE THE ONES YOU WILL CARRY. Hope they will be available soon. I like instant gratifcation. What beautiful examples to show how versatile they are.
ReplyDeleteCannot believe those dogs are still around. Unlike a few of the above commenters, I am like most and think they MUST be put down. The point is whether its the owners fault or not, the dogs presumably adult dogs are who they are. They are dangerous and have proven this. They are not fit to be a "neighborhood dog" and its fine for activists to say what they will but I can almost assure you they wouldnt' want them in THEIR neighborhood. I say go full throttle and hope they will be removed from the owners who obviously are not fit to raise good well behaved animals. Keep us posted.
Tina live my candle and really love your sconces these are so great looking and would look so good in my newly papered dining room. Thanks for more great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with above sentiment that any dog could have done this. Incorrect! My dad bred afghans for 20 years and not all dogs have an inner instinct to kill. Yes the owners should be liable but I also understand and agree tge dogs should be either sent to a non kill facility or put down. Klingon one dog and severely injuring another is serious enough in my eyes to make sure of this and keep others out of harms way.
Keep up the great job Tina.
I never liked bracket, do now........thank you:) my fav are Daryl Schmitt's BUT Im a bracket newbie!
ReplyDeleteand
""he would do anything and everything" initially hasn't even stepped up to the plate now to pay the bill'
~WHOOPS There It Is~
Epigenetics, ok think you mentioned fam. has kids............ look out world, poor things. Partially explains dogs behavior. That happens, did to my Mom's dog. But in her case responsibility was taken so well, Mom split bill. Mom's dog lived, thankfully. Dogs will sometimes go off & act that way. Ive seen with Jack Russells(no diss on breed, my experience) & cats(both mine). Now have Boston, Pug, Mixed & a cat. BUT the fact they live in a neighborhood(still no excuse0 with families & pets. Court is your only option. Those dogs could kill a kid. Prob. broke a kid's heart killing a loved pet.
Hi, haven't been here for a bit, but its good to catch up. I have always admired the way corbels look but have always been nervous to try them. I would have no idea how high to put them, what to put on them and how to secure the objects on the wall! Any tips most appreciated. I could see adding a pair to my dining room.Think they would look actually very pretty after seeing all these great examples.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are still dealing with the mess with Teddy. How horrible that being a victim and seeing your dog get so hurt wasn't enough, now you have to deal with an unreasonable and unwilling pet owner, not to mention incredibly irresponsible! In California those dogs would have been removed and likely put down immediately. I am shocked they are still there. Stand firm Tina, the next time could be another animal or even a small child. At what point does the law say its enough? I would think with the death of one dog and a major attack on another is more than sufficient, good grief.
Please keep us posted. Love all the new items, got my blue and white planter and dough bowl and love both! Will be back for more soon.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteI love all of your inspiration for the wall brackets (I call them sconces...is that right too?). I have some great ones tucked away that I need to get out and use! They really make a nice 'art piece' when arranged in groups.
Give Mr. Teddy a gentle love from me!
xo
Tina, I do love them ~
ReplyDeleteand YOU, for tracking
down so many lovely
examples! Hugs and
scratches for Mr. T!
xx Suzanne
Tina,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Teddy is on the mend. I find it incredulous that the dogs who attacked him were not taken by animal control, at least you didn't allude if they were taken away. Here in Minnesota any dog who attacks is immediately taken into custody, by animal control, and evaluated. If the authorities decide the animal is dangerous they are designated as "dangerous" and the owners either have to take the animal to obedience/behavior class, have them under control at all times, or have the animal euthanized. Any dog that attacks is taken very seriously by authorities. It's a travesty the man who owns the dogs has not stepped up yet. Maybe it will take a court appearance and an order from the judge to get this sleazy lawyer to pay up. Anyway I hope it won't be too stressful for you having to relive the unfortunate event.
Love the brackets. I'm relatively a newcomer to design blogs and never would have thought to use brackets as a design element. In the right application they look beautiful.
Bridge.
Love brackets! I used to have a few in my last home and I think it's a great way to display special accessories..like your blue and white pieces!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear Teddy continues to mend.
ReplyDeleteBrackets, corbels are awesome but not take some thinking. How many, what size, where, and then what about the display. I love the ones you have picked out and will be buying some as they are so hard to find. You can buy the corbels and then start a collection = what fun.
Corbels are rich and traditional. I am a huge fan and these pictures are amazing!

Very elegant. I worry about things falling off them since we have earthquakes here but my friend uses a special sticky wax with hers.
ReplyDeleteI am a bracket new by, also. I found my first pair in a little antique store in Greenport, NY and have been thinking of another pair for my entry...great timing!
ReplyDeleteGood morning beautiful Tina!
ReplyDeleteI am still so sad over what happened to your beautiful Teddy, but grateful he is alive and so sweetly HAPPY TO BE! I so pray that JUSTICE is served and that the court sees that these animals are not fit to be part of a community of families with beloved family members such as small children or other pets. That is utterly ridiculous. We love you both!
NOW FOR THIS POST. DANG these rooms are thrilling and that WHITE dining space with the busts on the corbels IS MY CHOICE. Fabulous.
MAY ONLY SUCCESS continue to fill your life! Anita
Good Morning Tina,
ReplyDeleteI love brackets! I love your photo collection! Most of the ones I have I have gotten at auctions. We have a wonderful auction house in Midlothian, VA called Alexander's. My husbnd and I review the items for sale online on Wednesday night then go there to examine those items we would like to bid on. Lots of fun! We do phone bids! Would like to see you carry brackets in your store. I also have purchased them for clients from Chelsea House. No High Point this Spring. Maybe in the Fall.
I'm glad Teddy is doing well. I love golden retrivers. We have a granddog named Kade. We also love him. What a wonderful, loving dog. It doesn't surprise me that your neighbor is backing out of his commitment to pay your bills. His day in court will come and justice will be his.
Great examples of brackets Tina. I think they add an architectural feature to a wall especially when you need something other than art. So glad Teddy is doing well.....I would be SO mad at those dog owners.....!!
ReplyDeleteThat Martha Stewart bathroom with the towels in the big blue and white bowl always makes my heart skip a beat! Love the brackets you've highlighted here. On another note, I'm glad that Teddy is feeling better, although you are all still licking your wounds. I was attacked by a neighborhood pit bull once - I was fortunate to get away with only a bite on my leg, but it was terrifying and the owner was awful about the whole incident. But he did end up having to take accountability. I'm sure the same must happen in your case! Sending healing thoughts your way!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Tina,
ReplyDeleteHow are you? Teddy? Is he feeling a bit better? I am thinking of you and your beautiful Teddy. Our pets are special!
LAst night my little Munchen got into the pantry and ate the ears and the head off a chocolate rabbit. It is always something!
I hope you have a great week! Elizabeth
Like I often remind myself: "Talk is Cheap" yet people still force feed it to you. So sorry to read that integrity is still hard to come by even at the expense of a huge error in accountability. Upsetting that the amount of time, pain and suffering we must endure in the misguilded judgement call of others goes on unnoticed and it is a character flaw.
ReplyDeleteMoving on to the brackets I think they are devine. They add a bit of presence to a room's wow factor. Havenn't seen any that I don't like. Great addition to your online shop it will hit the mark for many. Where there is a need there will be happy customers!
I have always loved the use of a beautiful bracket to display almost anything–but especially blue and white. I think they will be a hit!
ReplyDeletexo, Lissy Parker
Love the brackets idea. This post gave me some much needed inspriation for my new house that we are moving into in May! I cannot wait to start shopping in your yummy store full with all my favorite things. I have so many goodies picked out.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still dealing with the craziness with Teddy but so happy he is doing better. Poor little guy. Not fair, hope justice is served to the owner and those wretched dogs. Shame shame shame.
Thanks for making my day a more beautiful one, cannot wait till you have those up for sale!
Tina,
ReplyDeleteThat second image is stunning! Great post filled with lots of ideas. Brackets are the perfect wall accessory! (I've always called them sconces.. is that not the correct term?)
So sorry you are still dealing with these folks with the {wild} dogs. It's amazing how people react in these kinds of situations. We had a little issue with the woman that hit {and ultimately killed} our puppy. It's been 7 months and I still get angered by it.
Take care and I'll send hope and good thoughts your way.
I finally took a few pics of the items I purchased -including the framed print. Hopefully I will get a post out on that soon.
Leslie
These are lovely and I have a few hung in my home and more in storage from our previous home. Absolutely delicious images:) Hope Teddy is recovering well and I hope the owners cover the medical costs. It is unconscionable, really. I cannot imagine how scary it is that those dogs are still around after what has happened to Teddy AND that other dog. So sad.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kim

ReplyDeleteTina, I am so sorry about what you are obviously having to go through because of someone elses irresponsibility.I do trust Teddy will continue to recover fully, but I know how difficult it must be to watch him suffer. Regarding the Brackets: I love using them in my home. I have two quite similiar to the first of yours above flanking a grouping of mirrors in my living room. Also have two a bit more whimsy in my bedroom. So appreciate your taste in design.
ReplyDeleteI love brackets! My favorite of the ones you've chosen for your store are the first two.
ReplyDeleteHow awful that your neighbors aren't taking responsibility for their dogs. It really is unhappy hearing and knowing about people like this who have no character. I wouldn't like knowing I had neighbors like that! Not to mention their dogs.
I LOVE the look of brackets but never feel that I could put something valuable on them. Love them but don't trust them, I guess! The ones with the busts in the dining room are a little creepy, though.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your bad dog experience. We had something very similar happen and it was a terrible thing to deal with. I'm glad your Teddy is on the mend!
I can't even focus on the brackets because I am so upset about the neighboring dogs. They could have killed Teddy, or a child. I am so glad you are going to the hearing and following up on it. It's sad for their owners, but they have to be dealt with. And I am horrified that they haven't paid the bills! It's just so horrible. But I am so glad he is getting better!
ReplyDeleteStacy
Ah, sign me up for the patio off that master and the blue and white dining room wall mural. Wonder if that's hand painted or wallpaper? XXOO
ReplyDeleteLove, love wall brackets...You've shown some great designs with them here. I really like some of the groupings...quite a statement. A good choice for your store. XO, Mona
ReplyDeleteyou are so right, they add so much to these walls, I can see a million uses. To your point, most look a little plastic-like, your choices are very nice. LOVE those crystal gardenia candles, it's okay to buy your own mother's day gifts, isn't it??
ReplyDeleteElegant! All of it!
ReplyDelete
