Designer Spotlight: Rogers Design Group and a winner!

Good morning! So nice that its the weekend. We have a few things on the agenda but nothing crazy and I am looking forward to some relaxing time spent at home sans workers...woo hoo! Its suppose to rain today, so its a good day to catch up. We have a party to attend and I am always stuck with the dreaded "what to wear" dilemna, don't know if I have the energy to brave the crowds and go find something to wear. Oh well....guess its back to my boring but safe black dress! I have been very very busy this week with the online store. Its a lot of work, but its truly a labor of love. Getting emails and pictures from excited customers makes my day like you cannot believe. To hear how excited they are just makes ME so happy! So thank you...keep them coming! I am working very hard to get the orders out the door, and the first month no doubt there are small hiccups, but rest assured I am working hard and aim to please. I would like to announce the winner of the beautiful crystal hurricane candle, part of the new line I am carrying which I am super excited about, and apparently many of you are too!

Congratulations goes to............... Lillian!

Moving onto to the world of design.........I only discovered this talented design firm through a friend whose parents had their beautiful Florida family home decorated by this fabulously talented group. Then as I always do when I see something I love, I explored some more and quickly  realized this was a name worth sharing. I am sure some, perhaps many of you might already know of them but for me this was a new (and exciting) discovery! I think their sophisticated work speaks for itself so without further adieu...here we go! Would love to know what you think of their style! Click here to visit their beautiful website. Enjoy!

  3. Wow what gorgeous rooms! I love how they keep the interiors on the light and neutral side but use rich dark glossy woods. Really fabulous, great find. I have never heard of them. I am going to go visit their site and drool some more, this is my kind of traditional, not too stuffy.
Love how you arranged your beautiful table, the flowers in the blue and white planter are just beautiful. Yes, get that antler pillow! I love it, its fun and elegant. Enjoy your party.

  12. Hi Tina,
Gorgeous interior photos. I especially like the photo of the bathtub. What a lovely ceiling line for that space.
I included a pic of my Seda France candle in my last post as well as a link to your site. The photo does not do the candle justice! I light it each night about 10 minutes before I head to bed so our room smells fab!

  14. Good afternoon my dear Tina!

I wanted to wait to come to thank you when you got a new post up; I suspected correctly when I thought you would be posting soon. It was a fun post to make and that song, OH HAPPY DAY really makes me.....HAPPY!

OK, now for this glorious post. THAT BATHROOM in all white. YES. YES. Yes. It is similar to yours!!!!! AND THEN THAT white marble counter top is divine, Tina. You must be having SO MUCH FUN IN YOUR KITCHEN THESE DAYS! And your store is doing well!!!!!!! MINE TOO! I am paying for the beams in our room with the proceeds!!! Your style and choices are just lovely and I so hope to buy one of those cast stone garden ornaments this summer.

HAVE FUN and with your black party dress, just put on some black gloves and a string of pearls and some diamonds here and there and HAVE FUN!

  19. Wow! You had me at the first photo of the Rogers Design Group's work! Now that is what I call neutrals done right! I never considered myself to like totally neutral palettes. Maybe I love theirs because they mix the neutral fabrics with rich wood tones. Also, they're not afraid, it seems, to add a pop of color when necessary. Love it! Thanks for sharing.

  20. Hello Tina!

I hope you are out looking fabulous in your beautiful black dress and enjoying your party! I am sure that you look fabulous.

I love all of the new things you have added to your store! I see so many great thins I think I may need but alas I cannot order anything until I do a purge in my house! It is a little scary when a guest cannot hand even one shirt in any closet in the house because my husband and I have so many "treasures".

I am so excited for your success!

I love all of these images, one is more stunning than the next, thank you for sharing such a beautiful design firm!

Have a happy Sunday! Hope you enjoyed the weekend!
