Gorgeous rooms as always.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea with a sofa in a window. If I had more windows I would definitely copy because it looks like such a quiet but still light place. I would love to curl up there and read.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteTucker and Marks have a wonderful formula used in their design projects. I notice that colors, textures, lighting and flow in these large home spaces match the scale of furnishings. These spaces bring hospitality to mind as it appears lots of entertaining happens there.
Can't select a favorite room they're all cozy in a grand way. Detail is vital in a room and it prompts a response from all who enter and that's what causes a
lingering first impression and a desire to return again often.

Beautiful rooms...all of them....The stone fireplace is a favourite though....xv
ReplyDeleteTina: I liked the bedroom with the TALL, curtained half tester style canopy. I am about to do one for a bedroom that will be 12 ft tall, and this picture confirms that it will work, and will create a lot of drama. Your timing is perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly seems that they can handle many different styles as the work you feature is quite the eclectic mix. I particularly like their bathrooms and the stone dining room with leather chairs!
ReplyDeleteyou should have named your blog
ReplyDelete'the impeccable home'
i love all your choics
all the time!

I love the room with the beamed ceilings and then the next one - the dining room...although those wood paneled rooms are a favorite just for the gorgeous views! This was a fun "tour" for me...beautiful.

They do fabulous bathrooms, my goodness. I love the philosophy you point out, that they want things to be "approachable," something I think that is frequently overlooked in homes where that needs to be treated as a vital element.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of their work, what a fun way to start the day!

All these rooms have something wonderful to offer but that oversized stone fireplace and the image below it with the outdoor seating area and great view are my favorites. Happy spring Tuesday Tina!

All amazing, but having grown up in Colorado I love the cozy mountain retreat bedroom. I can practically hear the birds and the creek outside the window. Reminds me of Vail or maybe Steamboat Springs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of rooms. The mantel with the cherry blossoms is our favorite. Love the neutral colors of the room with the splash of color given by the cherry blossoms. This room also has great symmetry.
ReplyDeleteMaking today great,
Angela and Renee

ReplyDeleteTina such gorgeous interiors! I agree the foyer/entry picture is jaw droppingly stunning especially with the neo-classical columns. The marble bathroom I LOVE! We did our ensuite about a year ago and did it in calcutta marble and I just love it. Hope you have a great day and I am on the look out for new recipes if you have any. I am going to do a post on Soup Almondine which I am going to cook tonight for dinner! Starting to feel a bit better .... thank-you!

I love Suzanne Tucker's designs...classic and elegant. The living room with the chinoiserie secretary is perfection!!
ReplyDeleteThey definitely have the ability to bring large rooms down to an intimate scale.
ReplyDeleteI do love their style very much. My favorite of all the beautiful photos is the bathroom with the luxurious fireplace!
ReplyDeleteTina, I am with you - how can I possibly pick one room?! They are all stunning.
ReplyDeleteThe Napa Vally home might be my favorite, though. I love how the indoors and outdoors are tied together in great harmony. And I love the different textures. Brick, wood, steel doors, leather etc.
Thank you for introducing us to this talented duo.
Warm hugs,
Mon
