It could not be easier to use, you download it, take a picture and before your very eyes within seconds a full color painting appears of your picture. It is AMAZING. And yes my OCD has me a little obsessed with it. I printed out a few of these and am thinking of blowing them up a bit and getting them framed.....I mean seriously how great is this little invention! The possibilities are endless and I am just getting started:)
I just took my iPhone around the house and started snapping away. (my blue and whites made an excellent subject and were way more cooperative than Mr. Teddy who finds technology ridiculous and gave me dirty looks while trying to have him pose).....with a quick press of a button my images were instantly transformed into beautiful watercolors! So here are a few examples of how cool this is, and if you don't know of it, I highly suggest you get it....I promise you will have a lot of of fun with it!
You can control many things, and there are about 10 options as to what kind of painting you want as well as making it lighter or darker...painting was never so easy:)
Now here are some other examples taken from the Waterlogue site......
It's OK....go ahead call me obsessed, you are right, I will admit it:) Until the next big thing comes along:) Seriously this is such a nifty little app........with endless possibilities! I just may blow a few of these babies up and frame them..technically they would technically be originals, lol.
Click here to find out more about Waterlogue, and thanks for stopping in. Hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable and hopefully snow free weekend!
Last day to enter your kitchen into my KITCHEN LOVE contest. I am starting the contest this Sunday one day ahead of schedule due to a few conflicts. Be ready to be wowed!! Send your pictures (2 max) to theenchatnedhome@gmail.com by Sat (noon is the deadline). Thank you!
I saw this the other day on Slim Paley's blog and just about D.I.E.ed. I am not a great photographer with any type of camera, and actually find it quite tedious, but I LOVE these creations and think even I could manage it. Imagine a beautiful ball gown on a hanger in the most divine closet in the world. Or hats? Or almost anything. I really love what you've created, you amazingly talented woman! I wonder how angry real watercolorists are going to be ? My son, the real photographer, just turned his head away. But. I love it. And, to think you could have these images enlarged. What wonderful gifts for our friends. Now, if I can just find my diamond tiara so that I can photograph it.....
ReplyDeleteOr maybe your new header?
ReplyDeleteI am just dying over these "paintings"...my favorites and the oranges in the blue and white bowl and your chest with the cherry blossoms on it. I have zero artistic talent but I am anxious to try the app too.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend! xoxo
revolutionary! omg, how gorgeous are these paintings you made??? i love em! i can just imagine how this is going to change the landscape of blogland and upset a bunch of artists. don't you love seeing your spaces and vignettes in this mode? so cool. happy weekend, tina.

Amazing Tina, wow! I'd love to do this in some parts of my house I love! I'd love to be an artista this way too, lol! Thanks for sharing this great thing!
ReplyDeleteFABBY
Really amazing! I love it!
ReplyDeleteTINA! I must check this out because I love what you have done here! Aren't there so many great options now with apps? Your rooms make for a fantastic watercolour! You could print these and frame them, or make The Enchanted Home greeting cards! Have a cozy evening my friend. LOVELY! Anita
ReplyDeleteI saw this in Slim Paley's blog earlier today and now it's official = this is the app to get! Love the pics and going to go get it right now.. I have been wanting to take up watercolor - so this will save me a bundle in art lessons! ha ha..(I actually do hope to make that something I do in 2014, but meanwhile, I'll be 'waterlogueing.'
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! Thanks for the demonstration. Going to get it ASAP!
ReplyDeleteWow.... I am hooked!! Thank you so much Tina for sharing!! I love it...and all the beautiful pictures you took of your home! Amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI have been hooked on this for the last month, I love seeing my photos in a new perspective.
ReplyDeleteReally fun and very close to real art((: just unbelievable... Saw it on belclaire house blog too... Seems to be a hit!
ReplyDeleteCiao z
Ps your home is terribly photogenic!!! So that makes it even more pretty(:
They are fun to play with, not sure about framing them though - - wouldn't there be more satisfaction to employ an artist to do even better and have an actual painting hanging on a wall?
ReplyDeleteYour home is stunningly beautiful - I am sure an original artwork would fit right in.
THIS is going to change my life!
ReplyDeleteI must have it!
You are the best friend ever!

It is such a fun app. I've been playing with it too. I noticed that it's not a great when people are in the photos. Your interiors are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI don’t waste my free time that’s why I read the informative things when I got this blog I really enjoyed reading this. bubblegum casting
ReplyDeleteTina love it. I have heard of it but did not see the before and afters, and all I can say is wow! I am getting this today, my daughter will love it too.
ReplyDeleteI laughed at the above poster who said wouldn't' you rather have a real painting? That is so funny that she takes this so literal, is it crazy to think you could have both, haha. I love this idea and think you could have a blast framing a few and making a collage wall. My mind is going a million miles a minute thinking of the possibilities, wonder how people come out? i am going to try ti today, THANK YOU!
Tina It is such a fun app! Everyone has been playing with it! I agree there is nothing like original art (love your waterscape in the ornate gold frame) in a home and I am sure you could be a serious collector! Also love seeing that you have so many family photographs displayed!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

My Father was an artist and I can't draw a stick figure! I CAN arrange flowers though and decorate a house:):) This sounds REALLY neat! I love what you did and LOVED getting the tiniest peak at YOU!!!! Have a beautiful weekend. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteThis is the third time I've read about this in two days .. so I need to check out the app! I like all the snippets of your home and as we move forward with the building of our home, I may be calling for advise!! Hope you are having warmer temps for the weekend. It's been in the teens and twenties with a little snow this morning. We need it.. and I would never complain about it because you've had so much worse:)
ReplyDeleteLove the bowl of fruit and the topiary. I have a degree in art and still have trouble with watercolor. Different instructors have different ideas about how to do it and totally messed me up about how to accomplish beautiful watercolor paintings. Can't wait to try this, though I'll miss your deadline since we are moving in a few days and my house looks like 'box city'.
ReplyDeletei *am* a real artist (although watercolor is not my medium), and i adore this app! i actually just ordered two canvases (groupon) with two beach scenes of my kids i converted through Waterlogue. cant wait to see them.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is all over blogs all over the world! It is a wonderful app, really, really amazing.
ReplyDeleteWe are on the same wavelength! I posted about a dozen waterlogued images on Facebook and Instagram yesterday and someone just asked if I saw your post! Great minds..
ReplyDeleteYour home should be on a magazine cover! These shots are pure perfection, Tina!! Really beautiful. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, Thank you for letting us know about this app! The instant I read your blog, I downloaded the app and started fiddling with it. I took a couple of pictures and in an instant I had art! A couple of years ago I had an artist paint my dear cat (yes I'm a 'cat lady'). The photo I took of her and then 'WaterLogued' is as good as the artists'! This app could have saved me $795.00! YES PEOPLE, IT'S THAT GOOD! THANK YOU TINA!
ReplyDeleteTina this is amazing, I kept hearing about it lately but have not seen until now just what it does. Incredible! I had my kids painted a few years ago for a few thousand dollars as an anniversary gift for my husband, and to think I could have done it for 99 cents! I think you are right, the possibilities are endless. Today I am going to go and snap our new puppy, Poppy, and have him be my subject, such fun!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING! Love all your creations Tina.
ReplyDeleteI love these....I'm going to have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteI was so impressed by the photos you shared and the reviews I read online that I just bought it! Now I can't wait to get to work:) Thanks for sharing. xoKathleen
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun app!
