Today's post features a bevy of gorgeous breakfast rooms. Just pretend you have to put in a new breakfast room. For our family this is where 99.9% of our meals are eaten, so we spend a lot of time in there. Good light, openness, and a welcoming space are to me, all hallmarks of a great breakfast room. A little something for everyone here....cannot wait to hear your pick! Here we go......

Not so easy, huh? Lots to love but I was able to narrow it down to a few. I will leave the first comment as I always do.....now it's your turn:) Wishing you a fabulous day and great start to your week!
Don't forget about the gorgeous Danielle Rollins book giveaway, Soiree, a must have for anyone who loves to entertain or be inspired. A winner will be announced on Tuesday morning. Today is the last day to enter! You must visit and click on this post to be eligible. Thanks as always for stopping in and wishing you a fabulous day!
Hi there. 16 has always been a favorite. But if I lived near or on the water, 12 would be a close second (actually was in that house and its even prettier in person)...also has a beautiful kitchen. So for me 16 and 12 would be my two top picks though I really love something about all of them......your turn!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI see some "familiar faces" here that I love! :-)
#1 is a classic... although I'd change the floors, so I believe #12 is my favorite. It's perfectly decorated and it has the best view!
Have a wonderful week, Tina!

Good morning Tina...this one was #12 all the way!! I am thrilled your party and weekend went well....I can't wait for that post!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this gorgeous day!!
#6 is my favorite right now. It could change with the home I get next. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go with #12 also, although #1 is a close second. Love the blue and white...so fresh and clean feeling, yet cozy for family time together. We play board games in our breakfast area with the kids, and many nights that is he homework table so my breakfast nook is a multipurpose room!
ReplyDelete7 & 15 are my favorites! Gorgeous rooms, Tina!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.

Number 2 - because it looks like a kitchen in the countryside of France....... and I dream of a home there! But I love the last image - big cozy window bench looking out to a garden, lovely table and chairs and a bit of French country charm with the beams.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Choice #5!! And I love the view in #12!! If i could wake up to a view like that everyday it was be a slice of heaven! Gorgeous!! Hope you have a beautiful week Tina! XO
ReplyDeleteAs a blue and white girl, I am torn between 1 and 12 but must go with 12 because of the view! I would also put a blue and white area rug beneath the table in #1. Setting tiles on the diagonal would really makes a difference too in #1! Always decorating.......
ReplyDeleteOh Tina, you strike again! You always make it too hard for me to choose just one, so I have to say one and four for now! We too had a glorious sunny Sunday, so we brushed on the sealer on our deck. Right when we finished, the clouds rolled in, the news announced a thunderstorm warning for the Twin Cities and BAMMM! We got another storm. But we were lucky; we had more wind than water so we missed it!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day my dear. Anita
Definitely #7 - the view is beautiful and it's a great set up!
ReplyDelete#12 for Spring and Summer and #16 Fall and Winter! I don't want much!!
ReplyDeletei could choose #4 hands down! it's so my style :)

I will have to choose 16 because of the fabulous banquet where I can see everyone relaxing and lingering! If I could have a choice for a beach house also it would definitely be 12. Love them all, hard to choose.
ReplyDelete# 1,3,4,5,6
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I'd say #1, #2 and #12 (I always have to go with at least my top three..it's too difficult to choose!) Sounds like it's been a little crazy for you too and I agree about being partied-out! I'm still recovering and have house guests until for another week. Love it very much but it's lots of work. Enjoy a day of R&R. xxL
ReplyDeleteGreat choices as always! I love 1, 12 and 16 most. 16 looks the coziest and I love all the warm colors and a banquette is such an inviting way to decorate a breakfast room. Many beauties here though! Cannot wait to see your post on the parties!
ReplyDeleteEmily
Beautiful tablescapes! Would love the book! Looking forward to the pictures from your luncheon!
ReplyDeleteCheri
Dear Tina, All are gorgeous, I would say #6 and #12 for me.

#7,#16 are my hearts choices! But #11is my style.....hard choices today! Lol
ReplyDeleteI would pick #1, although I agree that another floor would have to be installed for a perfect score.
ReplyDeleteLinda F.
lovely rooms. I would choose 7 for the ambiance and views. Love it.

Gosh Tina, so tough to choose. I think, like you, I am drawn to #12 because of that gorgeous water view. I also love #5 because it would be perfect for the Nantucket summer home I'm always dreaming of. Looking forward to your upcoming post on your parties - you always have such fantastic ideas! Happy Monday! XOXO
ReplyDeleteNumber 12 because of the water view, but change out the furniture.
ReplyDeleteTina this is so timely because on Aug. 1st we start demotion of my left part of my house where we will build a new kitchen/breafkast room/family room. So I got some really good ideas. Love that banquette in 16, now this has me wanting to incorporate one.Love the bay window in 7 and that one with the exposed brick wall is incredible. I have to show these to my architect! I get the best ideas here. Thank you so much.
ReplyDelete#1 is so fresh and lovely but probably not practical for my little kids and dogs! #3 is so cheery but I think 8 wins for me. Its very livable yet gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteCannot wait for your post on your parties. You are the hostess with the mostess and I get so many good ideas from you :-)
Number 6. With the views of 7, 12 and 15. ;D
ReplyDeleteNumber 7, hands down for me. I love the comfortable seating and the view from the wonderful bay window! Patricia B
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteEntertaining definitely take it out of you, as much as you enjoy it!!! Excited to see your photos!
In the meantime, I was just enamored with #4....so French and charming. Love that chalkboard juxtaposed with the farm table and chandeliers!
Happy Monday....and enjoy a day of rest!
xoxo Elizabeth
I picked twelve and I didn't even read the other comments first. Very cheerful...

#14 and #2...Opposite ends of the design pole. Formal and Casual. One for Williamsburg...formal & the other for Beaune. Hard choice-they are all really well done!Patricia Flournoy
ReplyDeleteI am going to say number 14, because I love the coziness of the bench seat and two chairs for a breakfast eating area. I will just imagine that there is a beautiful water view with boats hiding from our view right now, to the right of the eating (like in number 12) :-)
ReplyDeleteDarn there is a solid door there! On the right side, lol. So much for dreaming.
Deleteall of these are just gorgeous but I love the rustic coziness of 16!
ReplyDeleteThis is too hard today... they are all gorgeous...
ReplyDeleteI just had a second look... No... I can't choose... love them all!... xv
Well... # 2 for my home in Provence. # 12 for my home on the water.. Hopefully Bainbridge Island, Washington
ReplyDeleteWell, for me it would have to be #12....I just love the view of the water!
ReplyDeleteSandy
Number 16 is my favorite too, the calm color and those beams! I'd be even happier if it had the view of water from number 7 as well....I'm special ordering here since we're pretending.
DeleteI hope you have a relaxing day Tina!

#3 for me. Love the colors, light and french doors!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say 12, it seems like a lake view. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHello Tina! I was really drawn to #7 but I think it has something to do with that gorgeous view! I agree on those qualities in a breakfast room - especially as a calming way to start the day. Enjoy your resting today. :)
ReplyDelete#14! #14! Lovely dozen of botanical prints on the wall and bright, reflective fabric make it very special.
ReplyDeleteLove the white built-ins, too!
DeleteI'm in for the vote today. I like number 11, for the view, the chandelier, and the comfortable chairs.
ReplyDelete12!! Before I forget....its 12! First I thought of a different one. But all the ones I love have a view...and who wouldn't want a view if you could have one thrown in for free?
ReplyDeleteWow, so many beautiful choices!! I love 12 and 16 they are perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteBest, Karolyn
1, 12, 8 and 16 are all exceptional, they really invite you in yet are so beautiful! They could make any meal feel special...so many beautiful choices Tina.
ReplyDelete12, 16, 1 ..... I can't believe you have picked photos that I have put in my "wish" notebook. Unbelievable. As I said before, "The Enchanted Home" is my favorite blog, but now I know why.....we think alike!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove them all but if I had to pick it would have to be #6. I'm in love with those wicker chairs and that painted paneling.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina - I am in love with number 2 as I can just imagine sitting there reading the paper and sipping my coffee first thing in the morning. Wonderful say they are all lovely though.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina number 2 takes my vote as it is just so cozy and I could see myself there at Breakfast time reading my paper with my coffee in hand. Betty from Ontario
ReplyDeleteHi Number 2 is the choice I would make for me. Those are my colors.
ReplyDeleteI love the warmth of it. Thanks for the lovely photos to drool over.
Ruthie
Love No 11. The french doors make the room. You could open the french doors and enjoy the outside as you enjoy your meal. Hope I win this lovely decorating book. I can use all the help I can get. D Watson from Idaho.
ReplyDeleteLoving the classic look of #7 with the gorgeous view.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness... they are all a dream. Who can resist sitting at a table overlooking the water though!?, So #12 is my favorite. I love #1 and #4 too. Courtney at French Country Cottage is #4 and has one of the most charming homes ever. Number 6 isn't too shabby either!
ReplyDeleteCindy
I love #2, but without that YELLOW.
ReplyDeleteChoice #16 for me! Not only is it warm, beautiful and full of fabulous antiques, it is comfy! I've been to this house a couple times - even more beautiful in person. Belongs to my good client Mary Jo Donohoe. BTW, the rest of the house was published twice in Traditional Home. Look forward to your big parties post, Tina.

Hello Tina,
ReplyDelete11, 12, 16 are my favorites!
Love breakfast nooks...pretty proud of my own too (:
ciao Z
Would pick 1 and 7 - #1 for it's clean and inviting look - #7 for it's the view and coziness
ReplyDeleteNumber 7 without question. Stunning.
ReplyDeleteNumbers 4, 6 and 10. Funny how everyone has such different tastes. Sara
ReplyDeleteno. 1 and no. 9 are winners for me! yes indeed your boobless blogger friend is surfing the net and visiting her favorite corners of cyberville. love to you!
ReplyDeletemichele
I would pick number 15 if I could lose the C's then 12 but like the windows better on the first one. Then 2 is beautiful and cozy.
ReplyDeleteMmm like a garden of many flowers to choose just 1 would never be enough...but if I had to choose...umm...I do like 3, 7, 12 & 15. So out of them I think I'd have 3 in 3rd place; 15 in 2nd place & it'd have to be a tie in first place with 7 & 12! I'd have to inspect them in person to make a firm decision, but I do love the beach or lake setting of both; the nook design of 7; the amount of light in 12 & the greenery in 7 too. Maybe I'd combine both designs in my ideal house: 7 for the breakfast nook & 12 for the sunroom? Ahhh to dream~
ReplyDelete#7, can't beat that view too!
ReplyDelete#11
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't enjoy a meal at anyone of these? My picks would be #1 and #4, with #4 my fav. I love the chairs, the lights, the blackboard - a great balance of formal and sophistication all in one room, got to love that.
ReplyDeleteI pick #12 ... if I had that view!
ReplyDelete#4 for me!
ReplyDelete#1 for me hands down! All are soooo lovely...
ReplyDelete6 and 12 I would have to decide between but if I had to choose one it would be 6.....they are all fabulous though.
ReplyDeleteLovely #1 and lovely #12!!!
ReplyDeleteI picked the same as you, Tina, 16 for its interior beauty and 12 for its view.
ReplyDeleteXO, Victoria
I love # 1 But I agree, #12 is beautifully decorated and has fabulous views. Still loving your blog. But I must get up to make my son & his bunch of friends something to eat. I hear them rummaging through my pantry. It's gotten pitch black outside the windows since I first discovered you. I saw somewhere you, too, have a lacrosse player. I know the feeling when you're half relieved when tournaments (or ballet rehearsals!) are cancelled! I laughed, but then thought, "Wait a minute! This woman does all this and has kids! And kids that are between the ages of just playing on their tummies and just off independently on their own??" I am quite sure you have heard it all before, but HOW DO YOU DO IT?? I think I spend too much time in Photoshop when I blog. No more. From now on I'm going use that time more wisely. I'm going to use it to read yours. ;)
