Good morning! So nice to be back in blogland! I am well rested and will tell you tomorrow about my whereabouts for the last few days, in the meantime this was in my draftbox from over a month ago so thought it was a good time to post this.......hope you are well and hope everyone had a superb Mothers Day!
Hi there, well finally just yesterday I, being cautiously optimistic , put away my gloves, hats and scarves into my "winter bin" that I hope I will not have to open again for several months! The milder weather has me dreaming of beautiful crisp summer clothes in soft pleasing colors, light flowy fabrics against sun tanned skin! How about you?
Have you been thinking the same way? So today thought it would be fun to see which look sums up your summer style best. OK well not unlike many of you I have a hard time just saying one. Humm...I do love 4, 5 8, 9 and 11. I can see them each for different things, 4 and 9 for a dressier occasion and the others more for chic everyday dressing. Something I love about each! Your turn.....

ReplyDeleteI live in Texas where August usually has at least 20 days of 100+ heat with 90% humidity. # 11 is the only possibility !!

1,5,8,12.... or dear I think there are a few. I would agree that it depends on the event or activity as to what the best choice would be! Our weather has been gorgeous and I've been fun changing up the wardrobe a bit. A comfy pair of jeans and blouse (sometimes with a blazer) or a maxi are typical for my casual summer attire.

Now you're back to making these really hard! (LOL.) I'll go with #1 for the more buttoned-up look I frequently sport, and then #8, neutrals that can be dressed up or down.

Choice 1. It is by far the most flattering in my opinion. I also find a dress much more comfortable and cooler in warm weather.

I think I'm getting a bit burned out with the Beverly Hills/Rodeo Drive shopper look of jeans and high heels - beginning to look a bit contrived, and not so chique any more. Some of the sandals on these outfits are fabulous - would great with many outfits. 2. 8. 12. 13 would all be great with flats or sandals. Loved those beige brogues!
