Hello there and happy Sunday evening to you! I am starting something new.... a new series, "Can we talk". Thiis will be a post for all of us to get in on the conversation. I believe and say it often that one of the huge perks of blogging is the incredible exchange of information, tips, advice, its truly amazing. I personally have learned so much and the same thing from my readers.
So this will be a day to discuss anything and everything. It could be interior design trends, movies, books, beauty products, clothing trends, design tips, you name it...nothing is off limits (well I don't really mean nothing:)
So today's first post in this series is being kicked off with the subject of beauty products. Lets face it...we all love them, have them and use them. Some more than others. Some rely on Burt's Bees lip balm and maybe a moisturizing whereas others have an entire arsenal that could make up every face in a small African country. And to my male readers......you are included here! I know my "non product loving' husband could benefit from your expertise! I personally love products, I am truly a kid in a candy shop when I walk into a store like Sephora....that is where my ADD really comes to light:)
So...below are 7 products I use and buy religiously. I love them, have used them for years and they are just part of my everyday routine. So, now its your turn. What are your go to products? What can you just not live without? Makeup, skin care, body care, hair care....you name it. We want to know!
i just recently started using the boi-ing concealer and love it! for moisturizer i use St. Ives collagen elastin moisturizer b/c i read somewhere that dr. oz recommended it as compared to more expensive moisturizers and it is wonderful! i even use it to keep my feet soft. revlon has a great eye gel liner that i recently started using and love how easy it is to apply and has good staying power. as you can see some of my favorites are not very expensive but they work good for me!
ReplyDeleteMy Daughter was originally a make-up artist with MAC, she is now with Sephora. She has THE candy store of makeup - trust me, it is insane. And what does Mom do? I wear the same half dozen shades all the time - not exploring too far.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite new moisturizer is Prevage by Elizabeth Arden ........ divine!
This is a fun series! The first thing I do for my skin is to get a facial every month to keep my pores clean, get plenty of sleep and fresh air hiking Dylan every morning. I love my makeup by Jane Iredale it’s a micronized mineral makeup that helps to hide fine lines and lets the skin breath. I use Decleor products to clean, moisturize and protect my skin since I’m aging and I have sensitive skin. I would sleep in a vat of moisturizer if I could but thanks to fish oil every morning for the winter I don’t have alligator skin….thanks Leslie…;) Love Aveda products for my hair. I think you really need to try products out before finding what works best for you.

From an 'alligator', are you meaning the capsules, or is it an oil to rub on your legs?
DeleteI am a former makeup artist and product ADDICT! I refrain from using products with fragrance, as they tend to be an irritant.
ReplyDeleteI love Bioelements for skincare and I could not live without my Aqua Phor! I use it OVER my night time regimen!
I get my hair straightened with Coppola Keratin treatments every three months. I would like to kiss the person who invented that! No more frizzy Irish/Cherokee hair for me! I also buy my conditioner online. It's Davine's Nou Nou...nothing like it! I also use Aveda Beautifying oil in my hair, mixed with Moroccan Oil!
My beauty splurge is Creme de la Mer foundation and powder...absolutely the best!
Beauty steal? Maybelline Great Lash Mascara!
I love Bobbi Brown lip colors and liners. They are the most natural looking and long lasting.
Then...DooWop Lip Venom...need it!
I drink a shot glass of olive oil each day, plenty of exercise, rest and lots and lots of water!
I buy plain white, unscented candles...when the wax puddles, I use an eyedropper to add several drops of lavender essential oil, which I buy on ebay by the gallon!
I could talk about this stuff all day long! LOL!

Andie
WOW! I learned a lot, thanks!!! :)
DeleteI'm glad I could help!
DeleteGreat idea! I've been wanting to buy a better concealer and I think the "industrial strength" sounds right up my alley! Last year when I ran the marathon, I really damaged my skin by not wearing enough sunblock and I had these dark marks on my upper lip. I was so upset with myself and it's taken almost a year for it to fade. It looks a whole lot better but it still has a way to go. I would love to know if you get facials? I used to get them weekly when I started working part time about 8 years ago. I used to be able to keep my whole paycheck to do whatever I wanted for a few months and my face looked amazing! Like a million bucks! Well I was in my early thirties and I'm sure that had a lot to do with it but I was so happy with the way it looked. So I really want to go back to getting facials now it will be once a month. Soooo, do you get facials and if you do what kind and how often? and are you happy with your skin?
ReplyDeleteTina...What a great idea! I use the boiing concealer and guerlain bronzing powder as well. I love Jane Iredale powder foundation that hides all my broken capillaries. i have been very happy with all of the RoC products especially the serum. Also adore Anthropologie vanilla/cinnamon candle. And Botox and Juvederm ain't so bad either!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina - great idea! I have never been big on products until recently (having something to do with turning the big 5-0)...I ended up buying a bunch of products by Trish McEvoy at Henri Bendel's back in the fall and I love all of them - particularly the "eye brightener". I also like Laura Mercier's tinted mousturizer and Nars illuminator (in orgasm). I get a Birch Box every month (are you familiar with it?) and have discovered many new products through it - my favorite being Kiehl's Rosa Arctica lightweight cream and eye cream. That's about it...and Kerastase hair products...Suddenly my low maintenance routine sounds very high maintenance! Oh...and I love anything Jo Malone - scents, candles, everything she makes!
ReplyDeleteTake care...xoxoxo
I love amazing conealer (Ulta sells it) and Loreal Telescopic mascara is truly the BEST. I have tried every kind and come back to it all the time. I love MAC lip gloss and Peter Copploa argan oil for my hair if I am wearing it straight.
ReplyDeleteI am very sensitive to smells from candles but love (and tolerate) Nest ones and Henri Bendel vanilla bean candle. I am not a vanilla bean fan but it has the cleanest scent you have ever smelled. I adore it.
I also just found H2O products and really love their eye makeup remover. Every other kind was irritating to me but theirs is gentle and works well.
Also LOVE rembrandt whitening toothpast. The green label. it works AMAZINGLY well.
Kim
Ok…without reading any other comments my first thoughts are…do you really love those eye make up remover pads? I'm sick of trying to find my eye make up remover! Do you really love that concealer? I'm tired of mine! Do you really think that lipstick moisturizes? I must know! obviously, if you posted these great things, then you do believe in them! I"m so glad you shared them with us!
ReplyDeleteI love the No.7 Boots intense beauty serum. Have used this religiously for years,No. 7 Intensive line filler, No. 7 lipstick #55, also, Lancome Fuchia lipstick, Estee Lauder mascara, and for Mosturizer I use No. 7 Day Mosturizer...all work for me and I do get compliments on my skin...Oh and for hand creme, L'Occitane Shea Hand Creme. Can't live without that creme in the winter time....
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteFor skin care I use Redermic by La Roche-Posay (from CVS)and love it. As for make-up I like tinted moisturizer by Stila, powder by Laura Mercier, eye shadow - natural Chanel quad, blush by Scott Barnes, new favorite mascara Falsies by Maybelline (it has a great brush).
My new favorite lipstick is by Benefit in Skinny dipping. It's the best Natural Rosey Pink...also the best lip gloss I found recently is shade #69 by Chanel...I wear it by itself with just a little nude lip liner
I have to fess up about a little secret...I love Sonia Kashuk make-up (sold at Target)...everything she does is great, and because it's sold in great volume through Target, she is able to offer great quality products at low prices.
Another little secret I have it putting L'Occitane Shea Butter cream on my hands, knees and feet each night before I go to bed. It really helps keep things soft
For fragrance, I love Jo Malone Agave + Cocoa...and Des Sens & Bois by TDC.
I could talk about his stuff all day as well...I love beauty products!
Emily @ Upstate Country House
Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteI keep my routine very simple and it still takes me forever to get ready. One of my very favorite products is the Dual Finish powder from Lancome. My moisturizer has sunscreen and then I apply the dual finish powder--so simple.
It's fun to learn all the tips and tricks that other people use. Nice idea.
I use plain old Pond's Cold Cream to remove my eye makeup. It works great. My favorite lipstick is "Brownie" by Bobbie Brown. It's a great color just a bit darker and more intense than my natural lip color. Recently, I've started using Guerlain's L'Or as an under makeup base. I've been surprised at how well it works and how much better my overall face (with makeup) looks when I use it.
ReplyDeleteI can't live without Clinique's three-step program. I've used it since I was 13, and I think my skin looks pretty good! I also love L'Occitane's Immortell Brightening UV shield and Immortelle Precious Eye Balm. YSL's Touche Eclat is the best concealer *ever* I love MAC lipstick, and my favorite is Viva Glam V. I also love Clinique's Natural Glossy Mascara, and Clarins' Jeunesse des Mains is the best handcream, and I couldn't live without my Mason & Pearson hairbrush, the Popular mixed bristle one.
ReplyDeleteI want to check out the MAC Angel lipstick. :D
Fun post!
This is such a great idea!! Love it! I cannot go with out Skinceuticals No chemical sunscreen. It's tinted and contains Zinc instead of chemicals which I unfortunately developed an allergy to this past year! My favorite candle is Voluspa -Atelier provence Lavande. LipStick-Bobbie Brown- Nude!
ReplyDeletePerfume- D&G- L'Amoureux..its lightly masculine with a lightness that makes it so easy to wear!
That was fun!!Thanks!
xo Karolyn
I have used baby oil for remover ever since I began wearing eye make-up, I like Blistex in the little blue pot , I like C&E Citron hand cream (try it :)and Aveeno's new eczema therapy hand cream has been a life-saver this winter. I like Origins and Smashbox cosmetics, but I'm always game to try new products! I love too many candles and scents to name...oh this is fun Tina!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Love La Prarie caviar cream, its the best I have ever used. Funny I use the Almay eye makeup removed pads too. Love Bobbi Brown and enjoy Kiehls body lotion and eye mask. Nars sticks are the best.
ReplyDeleteFor candles love Jo Malone and Diptyque also. I am always buying and trying all kinds of products. Such fun to try new things. I buy it all from my local pharmacy to the hoity toity makeup dept at Neiman Marcus!
I must have Dior Show Mascara It is the best... I am a total beauty product freak. Have you tried Birchbox? www.birchbox.com for $15.00 a month they will send you deluxe sample sizes of the latest and greatest. I also love Living proof shampoo and conditioner!
ReplyDeleteThis is fun.
ReplyDeleteI could not go without Aveda blue Malta shampoo (white hair here)
I also like GM Collin rosa sea gel cream for moisturizing. And bobbie brown lipstick # 34 tuille
My new beauty product is an eyebrow creme with brush from Laura Mercier. For your "older" readers, it's a completely natural looking brow enhancer. It's made a huge difference in helping me to look polished.
ReplyDeleteThe only candles I use are Diptyque in Roses, Jasmine and Baies. Th ebest foundation ever is La Prairie Caviar Skin Caviar. Expensive but worth every penny. And lastly - the best, the very best skin regime program for anyone 40++ is called Obagi NuDerm. THe best best best!!!! The uncomfortableness of the first 2 weeks ARE SO WORTH it. I also love Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, LaPrairie Hydrating Serum is like my gold and Nioxin Hair Serum before I blow dry. I love the good stuff!!
ReplyDeleteThis WONDERFUL!! I swear by Maybelline mascaras. I read many years ago that all the stars use it so I figured, why not! I use 2 of them, First the power xxx to thicken , then the Stilleto for LENGTH and boy does it work! You can actualy see it working as you apply it. I am looking for a better concealer so will try yours. I have worn Vanderbilt cologne for as long as can remember and ALWAYS get compliments. I will really look forward to these posts!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteFUN FUN...

AS YOU CAN SEE I AM A NATURAL BEAUTY....
You just made me laugh out loud :) I'm a natural beauty, too.
DeleteMy favorite home fragrance is a diffuser by Antica Farmacista called Il Fuoco di Lustro, a candle by Michael S. Smith for Agraria called Angkor, and the delicious gardenia candle you sell. All my makeup is by Laura Mercier with the exception of the mascara. I use Lancome -- currently Hypnose Doll Lashes -- over a Lancome lash conditioner called Cils Booster XL. I used to use Almay's eye makeup remover pads but now I use Neutrogena makeup remover towelettes for makeup and mascara removal. My moisturizer includes a sunscreen and it is by Purpose (very inexpensive). My hand cream is Blu Mediterraneo Arancia by Acqua di Parma. My shampoo and conditioner are Kerastase Chroma Reflect. Great fun to share all our favorites.
ReplyDeleteXO, Victoria
I have to admit I do not spend often on high-end beauty products. After reading long ago that most models use drugstore brands...well I started trying them. I use Olay Regenerist products as well as The Boots #7 Line. Natural Lift foundation by Revlon. Glosses from several Makers. Once in a while a friend will treat me on my birthday to a special "new" cream!

I live in the Sultanate of Oman, just down from Dubai. Being a desert country I can't live without my Kanebo mascara. It doesn't melt off in the heat and isn't damaging to the lashes. Definately a must for anyone going on vacation to somewhere tropical or hot hot hot.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, great idea to chat and learn from each other, I am curious to try your NARS highlighter stick, but I use Nars blush in a stick too, the colour is "orgasm" (: I really think it is accurate description. Also, my favourite mascara is "water black" by Givanchy - phenomen'Eye mascara which is definitely the best and allows grabbing lashes and making them look full, and long and more natural than some regular brush mascara products. And third but definitely special on my list is Armani silk foundation...it works as my under eye coverage and coverage on my eyelids and my entire face, it is not runny and covers everything but not visibly there! just marvelous. Ciao Z
ReplyDeleteI forgot a very important tip! LOL! Always use the right tools for the job! As a makeup artist I was spoiled with the absolute best brushes! They make all the difference in the world! You can use cheap drugstore makeup with professional results with the right brush! I prefer most of Bobbi Brown's tools BUT you can even get your brushes at Hobby Lobby if you know what to look for! The absolute easiest eyeliner brush is Trish McEvoy's angled eyeliner brush! You will KISS me when you use this! I promise!
ReplyDeleteAlso, be certain to clean your brushes once a week with a mild shampoo using lukewarm water (never hot, it melts the glue), rinse thoroughly and use conditioner once a month, lay on the side of the sink to dry. You will use far less product this way!
xo
Andie
I use Maybelline, Shu Uemura, Mac, Revlon and L'Oreal. It varies actually. If there's a new product launched in any of my favorite makeup brands, I just buy it randomly. I have a makeup collection and I'm planning to re-gift some of them to my friends.
ReplyDeleteOK for me, its Chanel lipsticks and eyeshadows. For foundation love Stilas illuminating foundation.
ReplyDeleteFor skin care use Clarins and La Prarie, expensive but so worth it I always get so many compliments on my skin. For hand and body cream nothing and I do mean nothing can beat L' Occitane, they are incredibly good.
Think Nars illuminating sick is the best thing ever and I am going to try the makeup remover pads. Thanks for the recommendation.
Fun post!
I am rather late here and I hope I make it in, but I cannot live without HAND CREAM! I wear lipstick only so the other products are not in my repetoire, but I LOVE YOUR NEW IDEA MY DEAR! Let's chat...what a splendid idea! Anita
ReplyDeleteI love this.... there are still products that I am searching for... a good winter moisturizer. But my favorites are
ReplyDeleteCle de Peau concealer, Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Diorshow Waterproof Mascara. I also use the Almay make-up remover pads, and Guerlain bronzing powder. My go to lip stain is Sweet Pea by Bobbi Brown.
Oh, and my favorite candle Votivo Red Currant....
As I am getting older, I've tried many different lip plumpers to try to halt my thinning lips, but no real results. I saw a local news program that did a test on several lip plumpers and they said the best is City Lips. I tried it and am hooked. I noticed a big difference. My lips no longer look like they are disappearing, and my lips look like they used to in my 30s.
ReplyDeleteLove your choices Tina... and I am a fan of Diptyque candles... I do love Figuer ... although there are so many beautiful scents it's hard to choose... The cream that I am using all the time now is by Lierac... a French brand... phenomenal .. and I love the YSL serum for winter... Make Up .. I am a By Terry fan..
ReplyDeleteLove the chatting... xv
I always wear Mac lipstick--it stays on and doesn't crack! I never heard of Boing but I'm going to buy a case today!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually planning to do a post on this very topic in the near future. I'll be sure to link up :)
ReplyDeleteHello, my fellow cosmetic junkies...what fun this is going to be! Have any of you heard of the website "Beautypedia.com"? It's run by Paula Begoun who writes the "Don't Go to the Cosmetic's Counter without Me" books (some of you may have seen her on Dr. oz). She reviews the makeup and skincare products on the market, and tells you which ones live up to their claims and which ones don't. Paula is a former makeup artist and all her reviews are based on the science behind the ingredients and their performance...I've trusted her guidance on all my cosmetic purchases for years. Having said that, several years ago, she started her own line called "Paula's Choice" which is available online. I haven't tried her makeup products, but her skincare is the best I've ever used. She has products for every skin type, and all of them can be ordered as samples. Every product she sells lists the scientific evidence behind it, and is 100% guaranteed. Also, there are no skin-irritating ingredients in anything. If you don't find what you like there, be sure to check out "Beautypedia" to make sure you're getting your money's worth. Here's to all things girly!!!
ReplyDeletethis is fun Tina! I love to read "favorite" lists!!
ReplyDeletexxojoan
Inspiring post! For my sensitive skin, it has to be Liz Earle's botanical skincare range - gorgeous, and my daughter who is super sensitive, now adores this. Foundation is always Lancome, and most makeup Bobbi Brown, which I love. Always interesting to hear of new suggested favourites though, as we all get stuck in a rut sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHi, Thanks, have written down some new products to try. I am old & get lots of compliments on my skin. for years I have been using Dr. Patricia Wexler skin care products. Buy online or at Bath and Body Works. Untouchable makeup and primer with their brush gives you an airbrushed look. Buy at Sephora or Bloomingdales special SNK dept. I love scented candles so buy the Salkin ones at Bath & Body works. great smells, great price so I don't feel so guilty buying lots of them. Always looking for a great mascara that doesn't flack.
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention the one beauty product I couldn't live without.....Latisse!!! It took me from almost non-existent eyelashes to hardly needing mascara...love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great resource! After your recommendation, I've started using Mabelline Falsies mascara and now I love it more than my Dior! I have dry, extremely sensitive skin (eczema) and these are my can't-live-withouts:
ReplyDeleteKiehl's Rosa Artica Moisturizing (anti-aging) Cream
L'Occitane's Divine Extract and Moisturizer: pricey but really works!
MAC Mineralize SkinFinish Foundation powder
Two Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof eyeliner
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil: Very gentle & doesn't cause blemishes, used by Cirque du Soleil to remove their stage makeup, washes off with water. http://www.dhccare.com/DHC/Category.aspx?Catalog=DHC+USA&Category=Skincare/Cleanse
guerlain bronzing powder is the bomb!
ReplyDeletei love!
i must try the bronzing stick.
unless of course it enhances wrinkies....
i can't have that!
xx
Great idea Tina....beauty products are a challenge for me...I cant use products that have plant oils in them. They block my medication from working and you know that anything that works has a little plant oils in them.
ReplyDeleteI posted above but want to add one item: I recently started using CATWALK by TIGI. It's a "transforming dry shampool". I have to say that this product works really well for me. I have fine long hair, but lots of hair. I am 60 years old and my hair tends to be a bit dry and does not need to be washed as often as I was washing it. This spray product gives me more volume! It is wonderful. Also, I can go several days without washing my hair--and can take baths instead of showers. I was SO tired of drying my long hair every day. AND, my hair looks better!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing some of your favorite products. I am like you in a place like Sephora-- can't get enough! One item I hold to almost religiously is my flat iron. It keeps my natural almost-Afro in smooth, sleek locks. I also love Emu oil in the winter for dry skin. I know it sounds a little "eww", but it's awesome on dry skin or a few drops in the bath. Fun series! I'm looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteKeri
This is so fun, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing the products you use. I have to try some of them!
Have a great week, sweetie.

Luciane at HomeBunch.com
Sounds like an awesome series. Well, you know all about me and Sephora - dangerous! Major product junkie. I love Kenra hairspray - it's the best. Dior BB cream, Bare Escentuals foundation, Clarins self-tanner, Lancome mascara.... really, I could go on and on!! xo
ReplyDeleteFor my cleansing routine I just use Neutrogena Gentle Cleanser and Neutrogena Moisturizer for sensitive skin. For the eyebrows I love Stila waterproof pen. It lasts all day long! Mascara is Estee Lauder , navy blue. It is beautiful and washes off with water. Eyeliner is Elizabeth Arden dual perfection also lasts all day long. Blush is Estee Lauder A Plum, perfect for a fair complexion. If I wear a foundation it is Estee Lauder Lucidity. I put a little in my palm, then add a couple of drops of my moisturizer, mix together, then take my makeup sponge and apply it evenly all over. It goes on beautifuly and leaves a glow. My lip colors always vary between a dusty rose or a peachy color for the summer. I am always on the prowel for lipsticks. Lipliner is Estee Lauder spice. It seems to go very well with the nuder colors which I love.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't lived until you have smelled Molton Browns Rose Granati Hand Wash & Lotion. It is scrumptious. Totally out of my budget, but I don't share and it's only kept in our master bath. Going to bed wearing this scent is heavenly. As for skincare, I am a loyal Clinique girl and have been for 24 years. So are my mother and grandmother, and they age beautifully.
ReplyDeleteMaybelline falsies is the best! At only 7.00 a tube its also the best beauty bargain out there. Love Estee Lauders skincare, not that I am an old lady but my grandmother turned me on and at 44 people think I am 35, my skin looks really young. I take good care of it, and what I spend is so worth the money. The Advanced night repair is award winning for a reason.
ReplyDeleteFor makeup I am all over the map, I love it all and experiment often. Agree about Mac lipsticks, they are perfect, give great color and last, not too moist but not too dry. Love Cargo bronzer and eyeshadows.
Nars is also a favorite, but I also wear things from the local drugstore, Loreal, Revlon,etc...love it all.
Great idea for a post.
I'm looking for an "industrial" concealer. Not liking the under eye circles.. surgery will be my next step! Thanks, I'm going to try your suggestion!
ReplyDeleteCreme Apricot by Dior. Put it on your cuticles at night, and it will look like you have had a manicure the
ReplyDeleteNext morning. I have been using it for over 30 years and it is still on their line.
Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm going to chime in on this one!!! I'm a makeup junkie, so here are just some of the things that I can't live without, including my all time favorite candle for this time of year!!
1) Jo Malone red roses candle....incredible!
2) Yves Saint Laurent Touché Éclat touch up stick/ highlighter
3) Tarte Lipsurgence sticks in all colors, great coverage and moisturizing on lips
4) EO hand sanitizer in lavender, the best!
5) Skin Phloretin CF gel for face....every day to keep skin young and youthful.
6) Cosmedix opti crystal eye serum
7) Chanel Vitalumiere foundation
8) M-61 Fast Blast vitamin C mask, gives you a glow instantly!
I could keep going, but I'll stop here!!
Have a great day :-))

Hi Tina! Great picks here..always love bronzer (I'm so pale at this time of the year.. I feel like I look blue because all my veins are showing!!) Huge fan of the Jurlique as I'm a mature over 50..year old :( so my skin needs the extra pampering. Take care and hope your week is off to a good start!
ReplyDeletexxL
So fun!! Growing up in Texas...I'm a makeup girl. Love it all and don't quite feel "dressed" if I don't have on lipstick and mascara. So, that brings me to my 2 favorite products. Chanel lipstick....in Emotive has garnered me many compliments. It's my go to! And, my new fav mascara is Shocking mascara by YSL. I have a recent winter obsession with Rich Girl..the hand cream by Deborah Lippman.
ReplyDeleteI could go on.....:) Love your picks....will have to check them ou!
xoxo Elizabeth
Ooh I love seeing your beauty products. It's amazing how everyone has their own special ones they love. I just started using the Mary Kay Timwise products (I know...if I wasn't pursued to try them I never would have considered them), and they are seriously divine and luxurious. I got the first set for free to try out, but what will I do when I use them up?? I love MAC myth lipstick for a nice opaque nude, I made my own bronzer for all the leftovers I've tried over the past few months and I'm still looking for the perfect mascara (although YSL makes a really great one). I can't wait to see more posts like this!
ReplyDeletexo
Sharon
Dermalogica skincare, Lancome Juicy Tubes lipgloss, Body Shop bronzer, Issey Miyake perfume, pawpaw ointment for my lips, She Uemura eyelash curler and mascara!
ReplyDeletePS the shots of your snow covered house in the last post were just divine. Been away so catching up. They are breathtakingly beautiful! We're flooding here after bushfires last week, couldn't be more of a contrast!
LOVE THIS POST
ReplyDeleteI CAN NOT LIVE WITH OUT
Armani Designer lift makeup
Estée Lauder Idealist cooling eye illuminator
Avon Skin so soft bath oil and bath oil spray
Lancome Cils booster XL
Jo Malone vitamin E lip conditioner
Cetaphil wash and Cetaphil mouisurizing cream
Buxom Lips- lip glosses
Has any one tried airbrush make-up (not the tanning one)? Which one is the best?
ReplyDeletei use better Botanicals Hydrating Moisturizer (Dandelion)...or sometimes just Oil of Olay for sensitive skin if I really need to slather on a winter day outside. I use Dr Hauschka eyeliner, Dr Hauschka Powder Duo in Cool Breeze for a bronzed look, I curl my eyelashes, and apply Burt's Bees in rhubarb. I really need a new eyelash curler and would love advice. I dont usually wear mascara, so the curling is an important step!
ReplyDeleteA primer ( or just wear it alone) that absolutely lives up to its name is "Perfekt" at Sephora. Cannot live without it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the next time you go to Paris, stop in the Hotel Costes gift shop and grab, even if it breaks the bank, a bundle of their signature scent candle, "Costes."
You will faint.
Thanks for a great subject and for sharing information. One product I have used and use daily is http://www.thebodyshop-usa.com/skin-care/facial-moisturizers/vitamin-e-illuminating-moisture-cream.aspx#. It is from The Body Shop. I use a very small amt, tear drop in size on my finger and tap on the cheek bone. It is very sutle. It just gives you a healthy glow. Looks very natural. I don't start my day without it.
ReplyDeleteYou know how I love a good skincare post! The products I have been using are on a post I did here......
ReplyDeletehttp://goodlifeofdesign.blogspot.com/2013/01/my-tried-and-true-skin-care-products.html
So fun to read others favorites. I have to try the bronzer, I have heard really good things about it and since I don't go in the sun any longer, I need a bronzer big time!!
Fun post as always,
Kathysue
I missed the house and I am so glad I came here today. I just bought a bronzer online that I hate even though it was recommended by a famous makeup blogger. I trust you more though ha ha – I'm buying that and Nars highlighter!

I lot of people pays attention to thier face and totally neglecting their hands. Most of them have tightened face skin while the skin og thier hands are dry and wrinkled. ~ best acne scar treatment.
