Which would you choose?

Good Monday morning to you! Can we deviate today (just for the day) from homes and interiors?  You know I like to gab about things like fashion and pretty dresses and great boots and fabulous handbags and all that good stuff on occasion! Went to a fashion show luncheon a few days ago where I must say for once  I wasn't craving every single thing the models wore (except the bodies wearing the clothes....I always have serious body lust when I see the models and their rail thin bodies) however I did see a few handbags that sparked my handbag obsession which has been on a bit of a "hiatus" given that I have been so house obsessed these last few months. And what can I say......this got me to be "inspired" to talk handbags today.

I am glad to know my handbag radar is still alive, active and very "able and ready to do business". As I do every fall, I treat myself to one special handbag or two, and I have my eye on several. Has to be something practical but smart looking, something that will go with most of what I wear (think neutrals) and not something very trendy. So here's some of the contenders....play along. Pretend money is no object, you get to choose one bag, take a look and tell me which you choose! I look forward to hearing what you decide.........

So which is it for you? Does one just jump out at you and say "take me home"? I can't wait to hear.....wshing you a fabulous Monday!

  1. We defintiely have the same taste in bags, but if I had to choose one it would be 13, the YSL tote. I actually have my eye on it and with my birthdaty in November, its a real possiblity. Hope my husband feels the same;-)

  2. Well now we share another serious obsession. The first Chloe, the Fendi, and the Prada are my top three. Narrowing that down, I would go with the Prada.

  3. Since black is my choice for everyday I would go for either 8 or 12. Both beautiful classic shapes. I also love handbags, so this was fun! I would love to know your choice!

  4. OH DEAR...I think I have to choose number 11!!!!!!!! You always provide so many GOOD choices, I cannot make up my mind!!!

Dearest Tina, I CAN DREAM...OH YEAH, can I DREAM.

But now the question is, can I SURVIVE the realities that go for the ride to the moon? My art is not selling. I am now left to be CREATIVE with marketing (new one for me), and listen to what THE MARKET dictates...a struggle for a HEartist....but THANK YOU MY DEAR for YOU must know what it is like. Dreaming to build a home as yours, experiencing struggles, but you did it. You did even more by starting your business and I am guessing that was and is still not easy. SO, this little girl has a lot of growing up to do.

Thank you for your kind friendship! Anita

  5. Definitely number 1. I live in Lexington, KY where anything equestrian always wins!!!

  6. I'm kinda loving 6 and 7. I just got the cutest Kate Spade, it's a beautiful shade of creamy neutral and it's a guilted pattern w/ a gold chain handles..A much cheaper take on Chanel. I'm in love with it! xo

  7. I always love Bottega Veneta! The most classic of the classics! My mother's BVs from 20 years ago are in great shape - they look better the longer they wear!
    Love your posts, Tina!

  8. I would have to say #4 This Bottega Veneta is classic. Not too many bells and whistles. That's what I love.

  9. Serioulsy I could easily have about 9 of these and be a happy girl! I love them all but my absolute favorites are 4, 7, 9, 10 and 12. Sorry impossible for me to pick just one. I am also a handbag junkie so this was a great post to start my day.

  10. They are all great choices for me!! I would say 4, 5, 7 and 13!!

  11. My favorite also is a neutral start in my wardrobe, also easy to pop a bit of color if need with neutral…so my favorite bag would be Choice 15. I love the details of the leather and the color is a beautiful color that would make me happy every time I grab my bag.

Always love my morning “Enchated Home” emails….

    Have a fabulous day….

  12. 7 looks the most comfortable and it is a great color!
    who makes # 14?

  13. I really like the Tory Burch bag. Well made and it will go with my TB shoes.

  14. ONE? We have the same taste in bags and I would probably cry if I had to leave some of these babies in the shop.
You likely have many black handbags {like all of us}, so I say go with some colour, especially this season. Number 3 - the Tory Burch orange will be fun to wear on sunny winter days with navy, deep grey, black or brown. I have a Furla orange bag and use it all year round.
Number 7 - the Gucci camel tone is perfect with everything. Number 11 - the Chloe in vibrant blue will make your ensembles pop. If you are too shy to wear coloured jeans in the winter think of wearing a colourful bag with your outfits.
{I have to admit the black Gucci would go home too}.

  15. i know nothing about a good bag, and i would have to handle each of these to smartly choose. but i am loving no. 13 in all its neutral classic beauty. but all of your choices are so beautiful, tina. let us know which one you choose!

    love to you.

  16. 4, 9 or 13-- all for one reason: classic and you'll have it forever....especially 4. I can smell that gorgeous leather through the computer!!!

  17. 1, 11 or 13...LOVE the Chloes most of all.

  18. I would have to say number 9,13, and 1. In that order. I like the two pockets on the side of the Prada bag. Perfect for sunglasses and a cell phone...the two things I'm always trying to dig out of my purse! I just ordered the Prada Saturday but it has not arrived yet! Can't wait to see which one you choose!

  19. My preferences are bags 4, 5, and 3 in that order. Seeing bag #4 actually made my heart skip a beat. It is the very one I have really wanted for some time now - and my first thought was 'This lady really does have good taste!' BTW, I just bought a brighter blue Kate Spade handbag and can verify it's well made. Plus, it received two thumbs up from my daughters! Would you let us know which ones you ended up choosing?

    ReplyDelete
  20. What if I could choose 4 of them! It would be 1,4,7, and 9! Can I have them all? They are simply divine! I'm a handbag fanatic anyway so this post really grabbed me, LOL! These were all great bags, though! It would truly be hard to choose just one! Have a great Monday, Tina!

  21. So many of them spoke to me, but the one that shouted "take me home" the loudest was #6. (#15 was runner up!)

    ReplyDelete
  22. So many gorgeous bags! Number 15 for me from Rebecca Minkoff but number 5 from Gucci was a very close runner up!

  23. choice #9 if my first choice for size, access to side pockets for phone and keys and style
Choice #10 is my second choice for same reasons!

  24. For me ... without a doubt it is #3 - the Tory Burch bag. I love me some orange! Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my chin. :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Choice #5 please! I am getting more and more into handbags the older I get...I wonder why that is? Great choices here Tina. Hope your week is off to a great start! :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'll take #6, as that wine/cranberry color seems to be the color of the season!!! I'm dreaming of a 3 tone Celine bag though. And, "had" to walk through the Chanel handbag boutique at BG on Friday. There is a little tweed bag just wishing it could be mine! :)

  27. So pretty Tina! I'd go with the first Chloe (I have one in white now and love it!). Also love the Celine and Prada bags.

  28. For Fall, my top choice is #1, the Chloe Marcie bag - Large please! Will look great with my casual riding boots.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can identify...I'd have to go with that gorgeous Yves St. Laurent in that wonderful "greige" color!

    ReplyDelete
  30. 2, 10 or 14. Better yet how about all three? All so pretty, puts me in the mood to go do some online shopping.

  31. What great timing; I'm going luxury handbag shopping this weekend so I've been pondering of choices as well. If I can only choose one (tough choice!) I would buy number 7. The unique shape combined with the clean style is really interesting. Plus the tassel and the G's are an adorable touch. My Gucci has really stood a beating and still looks wonderful. Out in this part of the country, the Chloe model is ubiquitously owned so I would have to cross that off my list. I need to look at the new Christian Dior line because they have put out some beautiful handbags lately. Wish you could do another handbag roundup before I go!!

  32. 3, 4 and 15 are my picks.
    Best...Victoria

  33. #1 Chole purse & #13 Yves St. Laurent purse

  34. I have a bit of an orange fetish lately, so the TB really caught my eye. As far as shape and design, however, I love the lines of the YSL bag.

  35. Good morning Tina,

This is a fun way to start the work week, I love all of the Chloe bags and the YSL. But frankly I do not think you could go wrong with any of them!

I hope you had a great weekend!

Just a note, if you liked the carrot cake then you will love these pumpkin bars.

    Have a great week, Elizabeth

  36. This is fun...imagining each one on my shoulder (which is important)...I love the YSL! Wish I would have won big in Las Vegas!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh My!! this is fun!! I love the Chloe in navy and the YSL in gray, since I already purchased my winter bag from Fossil, it is a great two-toned brown leather. I think I will have it for years!
    I love shopping with YOU,

  39. Gray Bottega please!!!! My MIL gifted me with a very sim. Prada in buttercream and I used it all summer. I LOVE it but it has a braided shoulder strap that digs in a bit when it gets too heavy.

I LOVE that Bottega tote and may have to splurge.

    HAPPY FALL!

  40. What a brilliant idea, I *love* that you deviated from the norm. Plus, it's been awhile since I saw this many stunning bags in one spot. I'll go for number 8, the Fendi. Sleek, elegant, versatile, classic. :)

Sending you a smile for the week to come!

  43. #3 for me! However, I just bought a fabulous Rebecca Ray bag, which you would love. Handmade by master harness makers with authentic harness hardware, too. I got the Rebecca, but I'm also lusting after the Lydia. Rebecca celebrates the sporting life, so many of her things have an equestrian or dog theme. Check them out at Rebecca Ray Designs. She has a bit buckle bracelet you'd love, or a leather one with a golden shepherd rosette!

  44. Choice #11. Since you collect handbags and this isn't a "once in a lifetime" handbag, go for color and the Chloe. It will look great with the deep burgandy/oxbloods out there plus jeans, browns... yummy.

  45. We love a pop of color in the fall so the Chloe bag gets our vote! Though we wouldn't say no to any of these beauties...

  48. Boy you picked some real beauties Tina! Every season I also treat myself to a special bag and this year I got the exact Bottega tote you showed. I love love it. Its so roomy, soft and always looks right with everything I wear. I cannot gush about it enough;-)
So it gets my vote but a close second would be that great looking #15, not for everyday but what a great color and beautiful bag. All are so pretty!

  49. Definitely bag # 8, this Fendi is a real classic!
    Happy Shopping!!

  53. I'm having a hard time choosing - love the Gucci with the bamboo handle(5) and the YSL in gray - have it in black and it's the most comfortable bag!

  54. Minkoff, Chloe, Fendi, anything without huge logo, thank you for sharing the great photos of bags !

  55. Although you gave beautiful eye candy to choose from.....I suppose I'd choose a former tote from your closet. Give it a shine & wear it proud. I'd then use the extra funds to buy as many canned goods as possible. I'd donate them to Island Harvest or Our Lady of Mercy Church in Hicksville, NY. The lines for the hungry are ongoing... Thanks for the Dreamy thoughts...xox
