For this bathroom, my window treatments are officially in the works! So excited. I drove myself a bit nuts but in the end, know its going to be beautiful. I am going for a soft relaxed balloon, lining in with a tiny check/gingham silk blend from Brunschwig which will just peek out from the bottom and layering two trims/tassles which color wise were a great match. All the goodness coming together below........
And for the kitchen fabric, found another great one at Samuel and son
Then speaking of fabrics and trims, here's my latest inspiration for the bench/window seat in back stairhall area...the area we use all the time. The bench cushion is nearly ready and I am going to make it chock full ala Charles Faudree with lots of pretty pillows and think this gold colored simple fabric could be a nice and calm choice for the window treatments finished of course with beautiful blue and gold trim....thoughts?
So pretty to start seeing everything in bloom.....I forgot how much prettier everything looks when it turns green!
Got these two vases unpacked from old house.....not going to keep them here but its fun trying them out in different spots....
Look what I see to the right.......a lilac bush!
The smell was intoxicating.....
More experimenting with blue and white..........changing things out mid stream
Final result.....
And added this pair of flat topped ginger jars for now to my hall console....cannot wait for sconces, art, mirrors,etc....to get put up!
A special thank you to Leslie from the terrific blog, Trover le Soliel for featuring a bunch of goodies she bought from me. I especially love the framed beach print which is part of my canvas art collection...click here to visit her lovely post and the other goodies her great eye chose. Thanks Leslie!
I am still very much "the kid in the candy store" when I get in new boxes but yesterday was as if the whole experience got blown up to epic proportions. I was drowning in boxes but it was still such fun opening up a bunch of gorgeous new things..........and for the many who asked, the brackets are now up on the site under New Additions.
And got some beautiful new blue and white large and very large ginger jars in stock now listed. I seriously want to keep these all to myself.......can never get enough. Its scary but fun.
Yes it does look like a war zone......and that's only a snippet!
More boxes!
A bevy of beauties.....
And I got this gorgeous pair recently, they are quite large and really chunky...am not sure where I will end up permanently putting them but for now they will remain on the dining table.....
More gorgeous pillows getting ready to make their way to their new homes......
Yes I get excited and when I excited about new things...I run on sheer adrenaline. I was up late packing, sorting, sending......lots of new things in the store and check out whats arriving in the next few days, will be up on the site later today or tomorrow. Click here to visit The Enchanted Home Shop.

Thanks for stopping in!
One last note......I am so not a fan of change, definitely a creature of habit so I was thrown off this morning with the new blogger format. Not liking it. Anyone else feel this way? What gives, why did they have to change something that was working perfectly fine!
We are up and visiting early this morning! I hope you have your coffee in hand. I love textiles! You have a beautiful sense for color and texture and pattern. Your choices are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend!
Yvonne
I love lilacs. They are my favorite. You have a great sense of style and I love all the blue.
ReplyDeleteSo much to comment on here. I am a newer reader, found you after drooling over your kitchen at Pinterest. First I love all the new things you are adding to your store, I would definitely buy some ginger jars and those lab bookends. They are hard to find.
ReplyDeleteYour home is the stuff dreams are made of. Both inside and out. Your fabric choices are just perfect, you have a real eye and gift, that is not easy ( I know because I have been trying to work out fabrics for my living room for months)! And all your blue adn white is so beautiful, it adds so much richness to your home. I love the display in your family room.
Thank you so much for sharing so generously. It is a great way to start my day.
MY GOD....
ReplyDeleteI simply cannot keep up with you! I am on my way to work, only waiting for my husband to get ready, and HERE YOU POSTED AGAIN! I do not know how you do it, but it is a pleasure to see you home in the light dear Tina!
Sending you wishes for a surprisingly beautiful day! HUGS TO THE TEDDY! Anita
I can't wait to see that window seat down - Charles Faudree is such a great inspiration! Hope Teddy has a restful and wonderful weekend (and you, too!)

Cheers indeed, my dear Tina.
ReplyDeleteBe WELL!!! Anita
Tina the blue and white porcelains in your family room is like a magazine cover. It is so beautiful- can you come over and do the same for my family room?
ReplyDeleteThe house looks so gorgeous, the grounds are really beautiful with so many wonderful flowering plants, love lilac. I am like you love the late day sun, it makes everything look beautiful. Love the new finds for the store.
I am really enjoying my linens and wood pieces for the kitchen.
I adore all of your fabric selections - gorgeous!! I saw some of your items over at Leslie's and they looked so gorgeous in her home. I love when sunlight streams through the windows, so cool that you captured it! xo
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it all! I would be so overwhelmed! The fabric choices are gorgeous! Have a great weekend Tina!
ReplyDeleteFantastic fabric choices! I love all the pics this morning. Your lilacs are already blooming, wow! I planted a lilac the first year we were in our previous house and it didn't bloom the whole time we were there. When we moved last April, I noticed a whole bunch of buds. Figures! Can't wait to plant another one here.
ReplyDeleteTina, your house makes me swoon as usual! Makes me weak at the knees, lol! You're at the fun stage now, decorating it all.
Such gorgeous bathrooms and views galore out of your fabulous windows! Everything looks stunningly beautiful! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
Hope you will carry those lab bookends. Love em being an owner of two black labs. How fun to see more of your gorgeous home. Takes my breath away. Love what you did with the family room blue and whites! I copied those pictures hope its OK for some inspiration for my own home. I always get such great ideas here, thank you. Hope you have a great weekend Tina.
ReplyDeleteI am tired of blogger, period! What is their goal?
ReplyDeleteTina, the images of your home are amazing. I love every single image. I was trying to wait until you were finished to do a blogpost, but I have to pin a few of these. Your fabric choices are lovely too.
Happy Friday!
Teresa
xoxo
Your family room with that blue and white is the most beautiful picture I have seen in a long long time. Your taste is amazing!~ Cannot wait to move so I can start having a little "enchanted home" in my own home:-)
ReplyDeleteTina gorgeous choices for fabrics!! Love the new items in your shop that Topiary Pillow is wonderful and I adore the Crown Bookends!! Fun galore!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Dear Tina, I don't know why Blogger has to change everything when what we had was working just fine. They got rid of Picnik editing(as of today). Thank goodness that there is PicMonkey (by the same group who designed Picnik initially).
ReplyDeleteI tested the new version this morning. It's actually quite easy and not so different...listening to the instructions helps. I have 2 test blogs on which I try out new ideas. Have you set up a test blog? They come in very handy and there is not the fear of losing your blog posts.
Can't wait to receive my urn...love all the new things you are adding to your shop. You will put us all into the poor house.
Thank you for your nice comment. ox Gina
Goodness! So much going on, you certainly have been busy. So fun to see what you've been buzzing around working on! Your lilac tree is lovely, I can smell the purple-velvet fragrance from here! Ours haven't even started to think about blooming yet. Have a wonderful weekend, Tina! XO
ReplyDeletePS - I'm having some Blogger issues, too. The new format - and my posts aren't publishing. Quite frustrating.
the smell of lilac! it never fails to move me because it is what i remember about childhood!
ReplyDeleteyou are making wonderful progress, and someday you will look back and go HOW DID I EVER MAKE ALL THESE DECISIONS? so don't even wait til then. see that you're awesome this very moment for all the attention to detail and for moving forward.
am i your mother? omg.
smiles and love.

You are such a worker-bee, Tina. I do not know how you get all this done and have a husband, children and an ailing doggie. Your home is looking beautiful. And, the blogger format, I think they added the word verification to everyone's blog, as I almost never leave a comment any more without having to deal with that hideous thing. xx's
ReplyDeleteTodo es muy bello. Los tibores azules me encantan. Besos y feliz finde
ReplyDeleteTina, like always i love the new items and love the details your adding into your home. I am not one for change either especially when it comes to technology. Talk to ya soon...
ReplyDeleteGosh Tina, I'm feeling the adrenaline all the way over here in WA state! I think I'm a bit A.D.D. at times :) and can't imagine myself facing piles of boxes, windows, walls, and rooms needing attention! I think I would spin frequently and not get things done in a timely manner. Sounds like you are very organized and I'm sure you have lots of lists going. I a couple of Charles Faudree decor books and LOVE them. The golds and blues are so elegant and rich looking. Your window seat will be perfect. You have a wonderful designers eye when it comes to decorating, and paying attention to every little detail {all the way down to the tassels} and of course the colors are my personal favorite.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see my chest with the print on your blog today! I will need another one if I leave it there (I have matching chests).
Leslie
Tina,
ReplyDeleteLove all your blue and white ginger jars...of all sizes and your new tall vases...and how pretty would they be filled with lilacs?! And yes...the late afternoon light is so pretty...looks like it's almost wine time!
annie
Tina, all of your choices are perfect! I love all of the fabrics and combinations you are thinking about. You are SO talented. I can't wait to see the dining room chairs. That room is going to be spectacular! I really love watching the progress here!
ReplyDeleteStacy
Tina, A wonderful post and so happy to know you are back to good things. I adore your home and your aesthetic. I too am a blue and white gal, so I adore your choices of fabrics, porcelains, etc. One comment about the fabrics for the window seat: The seat fabric, small print, looks from a distance very similar in tone to the paneling. Perhaps you'd consider an oversized check/plaid to offset the other gorgeous fabrics which will be pillows on top of this fabric. Just my two cents. Have a beautiful day, friend.
ReplyDeleteNan
I have a "thing" for late day sunlight too. It's like being inside an Old-World Dutch painting...a Vermeer, Rembrandt!! I'm glad you're taking time to soak in the sun, and smell the flowers - lilacs! TGIF!
ReplyDeleteSo much to love in this post Tina, wow! You know I can identify with the merchandise boxes, we cope with that as well.
ReplyDeleteThe wallpaper and fabric and trim look beautiful, all of them, I am no good at choosing any over another, they're so lovely. The blue and white porcelain is gorgeous, as always, and I can't believe how fabulous the dining room looks. The light in every room is so wonderful, it's bliss to have that kind of natural light.
May you and your dear Teddy have a splendid weekend!
tp
So much eye candy!! Glad to hear Teddy is better and life is marching right along. Love all the blue and white. I have one opinion and you did ask, so..... The small print for the window treatment in the hall window seat feels like it will just read brown from a distance. The fabric for the cushion and the pillows are so fresh and that just seems safe and dull for your home and personality. I know you are in the planning stages so I hope it is Okay that I am giving you my HO?!! The lilac bush is amazing and I see bouquets in your future. Have a great weekend. We are having a weekend celebrating and eventful day in our lives, xo Kathysue
ReplyDeleteTina your home looks like it's coming along beautifully. You must be having a ball and I'm loving your bathroom. Your shop is growing by leaps and bounds and I can't believe all the wonderful eye candy you have to offer. I hope Teddy is healing nicely and enjoying the warmer days.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!

Tina,
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing seeing your house become your home. I remember the beginning, when you first started blogging and it's just great to see the changes and the process. You're creating a timeless home, my friend.
I have lilacs here too and I love them! :-)
Wishing you a very blessed weekend, Tina!

This is what I call a post where you get a lot of bang for the buck. Your home is a visual feast, I drool everytime I see it. Love that blue and white vignette in your family room, your beautiful dining room and the light throughout the house.
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric and trim choices too. That window seat and your bathroom are going to be incredible.
Just tell me this, when is your book coming out? You must write one. I know it would be a best seller, you have phenomenal taste Tina and it would be wonderful to put your talents into a gorgeous glossy coffee table book!
Laura from Maryland
PS Love those crest plaques, those would work wonderfully for my sons room.
A pure feast for the eye! Blue has just never been my favorite color, but seeing your abundant use of the blue/white combination throughout your home has become a new appreciation for me. I love the fabric combinations for the bench. Perfect! I do have one question however. How do you ever keep those gorgeous vases on the ends of your tub? I'm afraid their longevity would have been questioned in my home and I don't have children or dogs running around. Love all you are doing and look forward to continued reveals.

Tina, I have no idea how you do it all. Are your sure there are not 10 assistants helping you in the background?? I am very impressed how you move things forward with so much passion and drive!
ReplyDeleteLove the large jars on your dining table (place them in window sills?) and I have a serious crush on that black writing desk (which I have told you before). The new fabric for your window bench is divine! Very nice!
Happy weekend to you dear Tina.
Love
Mon
You have a beautiful house and your taste is wonderful. Love looking at all the pretty pictures of your house.
ReplyDeleteI think I would become agrophobic if that were my house. I would never want to leave, haha~!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and love what you are doing, creating a timelessly elegant home that will always look so pretty. Your blue and whites have so inspired me to start my own colleciotn and I can hardly wait to get the ones I have just ordered from you.
You are really talented and its so generous for you to share with us all that you do, its quite a showplace!
Love all the new things coming in too always on the lookout for great bookends.
You certainly do have an eye and a knack. I love seeing all your goodies. All those boxes!!! Please come to California and decorate my house. I'll supply the martinis! Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Tina!!
ReplyDeleteLove that things are getting back to normal at your house. And, loving all the additions of your blue and white. The fabric and trim for the bathroom window treatments is exquisite and I love that you have the hint of checked fabric....the glory is in the details!
We're in that phase of the renovation where we're "correcting" and fixing little things, though most of the light fixtures went in this week (both inside and out). All the subs were on top of each other, but I like to think that that's because we're making progress. Hoping that in 2 weeks, we're just down to a punch list.
With a sick one at home for the past couple of days, I haven't been as productive as I like to be, but hopefully he'll be back to school on Monday and I'll be back to my "list"!
Have a relaxing weekend. You deserve it!
xoxo Elizabeth
Riley is doing great thanks so much for asking :) I love seeing how everything is coming together in your gorgeous home! It is so beautiful how everything is blooming, I can imagine your outdoors is going to be quite the relaxing retreat when the weather is nice!!
ReplyDeletePS The new blogger orientation is definitely throwing me off too!
I am loving all the fabric and trim you chose! Your home is coming together so beautifully! I would love to help unpack boxes- it would be like Christmas to see what lovelies are within!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the pillows! They are so pretty! Your home is BEAUTIFUL! I love all of the blues, these colors are so refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI loved this post. So much to enjoy and be inspired by. Your home always makes me realize dreams really do come true! Love the blue and white display, you have perfected it and made me love it even more.
ReplyDeleteAll the new things for the store, the dog bookends, the crowns and crests, an absolute winner!
Thanks for putting together such a beautiful blog. It is always the best way to start my day.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteIt always love going over to your house for a visit. You have more energy than one woman should! I get you on the all or nothing when it comes to getting things done. I have been in a 'slump but come Monday, full steam ahead!
Have a great weekend! Give Teddy a slurp of me!
xo
Love the way you displayed all those goregous blue and white pieces for the family room. What impact they have!
ReplyDeleteAlso love all your fabric/trim choices. You have a really fantastic eye. I cannot wait to see it all done. Very exciting to be at this stage.
I am a newer reader but have had fun going back to your older posts and seeing what I missed. Love that you shared this process through your blog. Its addicting.
Your store is equally elegant, love the new things you are adding. Best of luck.
THings look great Tina--love the blue Brunschwig and pretty trim--can't wait to see the finished product! Let me know when you are in the city and we can have lunch or coffee!
ReplyDeleteJust WOW!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented, getting to peek inside your home is like going to a beautiful chateau in France. Something I will never have but totally eat up! You have wonderul taste too and your new items for your online store are must haves. Those crown book ends rock! Hope you have a really nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love to see what you are doing in your new home. I hate the new blogger format. It takes me so long to navigate and I get stuck in it and it takes me forever to get from one place to another. I suppose I'll get used to it but I hate it.
ReplyDeleteI love your home, but equally beautiful is your landscape...how lucky to build a home on such a beautiful piece of property! Enjoy your weekend. You are one busy girl. Mona
ReplyDeleteLove all your fabric choices. Yes, I was thrown off with Blogger's new format, too!
ReplyDeleteHello Tina,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying your weekend. How is Teddy?
I love all of the great things going on....every fabric choice is beautiful. I cannot wait to see everything finished.
Have a great night, Elizabeth
Love the new photos of your home and those blue and white jars are equisite! Hope you have a great weekend and I hope that your pup is feeling better..
ReplyDeleteHi Tina!
ReplyDeleteI love that late afternoon light too and I also LOVE the way you've decorated and 'styled' your home. It's such a treat to watch it all unfold! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and try to get in some more relaxation before the weekdays start!
xo

Hi Tina, just found your blog via 5th & State. Loving and here to stay.
ReplyDeletePaul
Love the fabric selections for the bathroom! Any chance you could share the fabric source for the embroidered fabric you are using for the relaxed roman?
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the best bathtubs I've ever seen.
ReplyDelete
