ReplyDeletePerfect timing, as I am starting all my wrapping today. I went out and got tons of paper and ribbon yesterday and now that I am finally done with all my shopping, I feel better already. So many beautiful images, for some reason that first one really appeals to me, will have to try that.

I'm all about the presentation when it comes to a good gift--one of the best ideas I've ever learned was to get a simple, elegant wallpaper (think cream damask) that isn't too expensive and buy a few rolls--you can use it year round for gifts and spruce it up with ribbon and other decor!

Hi Tina I am sure like me, you are crazy too. I must say this post is being served up at the right time, I have loads of gifts to wrap and I needed some great ideas. What I really loved was the "aspiring artist' idea, my girls woudl love to do that and how pretty just a simple sprig of evergreen is, makes such a lovely statement. Every year I tell myself that I'm going to wrap a little as I go, and nearly every year I end up the way I am this year: with every present still unwrapped days before Christmas. So I've decided, I'm throwing myself a "Present-Wrapping-Party". I'll put on my favorite socks, plug in Pride & Prejudice and wrap presents between sips of my favorite coffee.
I hope your last-minutes-before-Christmas are filled with cheer!!
