Moving along...to this spectacular French home designed by world renowned architect, Robert A.M. Stern, located right in the heart of the gorgeous idyllic East Hampton estate section. Fabulous sprawling spaces are carefully decorated with a formal yet cohesive palette throughout. A formal french garden has been created to give it an old world feel and it is hard to detect that this is in fact a new home....Magnificent grounds complete with tennis court, pavilion and pool make this the ultimate beach house to get away to! (Interiors by Jean Paul Baja)
And last we go high in the sky to this fabulous apartment on Central Park west....fabulously cohesive and elegant palette is consistent throughout this majestic apartment with views out of this world, check out the dramatic windows in the master bedroom with the wall of bookcases, love it! The ceiling detail and fireplace in the master...so luxurious. (Interior design by Katie Leede and Company)
You know I always love to know if you have a favorite! If you just had to move into one...which would be your choice? For me, its just too hard to choose as there are rooms within each home that I think are spectacular, but seeing the lush interiors, green grass, and those spectacular NYC views was a treat indeed.
Have an enchanting day!

Oh my - how to ever choose? The french home has many gorgeous details (those wood floors - the hall trim) but in the end it's a bit grand for me. The New York apt has the rooms I love the most - the bath with it's exquisite ceiling, leather panelled walls with nailhead trim, those archways. But the architecture of the first home, authentic finishes, and the wonderful outdoor space have my family written all over it - guess i should let them know they are moving :)
ReplyDeleteNO WAY could I choose just one! They are all so beautiful. The views from the apt. are gorgeous, those gardens in EH amazing and that first house I love because it looks really old, which is my style. Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite would be the Central Park apartment, very calm and soothing and those views! But I love the lap pool setting of the first home and the exterior of the home. They’re really all so beautiful I could be comfortable in any of them. Thank you for the heads up on the wallpaper, I’m calling tomorrow and I saved a copy of the picture to send over to them. Enjoy your day at the museum!
ReplyDeleteI really love the style of the house and the exteriors in the first home, but the interiors do nothing for me. :(
ReplyDeleteThe second home looks gorgeous inside, but it's a little formal looking on the outside for my tastes.
So, I guess it comes down to the NYC apartment - what's not to love about living in NYC (other than the traffic, the winters, the noise... like I said, what's not to love?)
So, if I was restricted to one, I'd take the apartment, thank you very much.
Happy a wonderful time at the Frick!
My favorite is the manor home. The atrium is so lovely and I just adore the kitchen with all of the wood detailing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
Oh goodness, do I have to choose? I love the first home. I could stay and never leave, and it has encouraged me to get out my needlepoint! So warm and cozy! And the front door and foyer...
ReplyDeleteI love the outdoor areas on the last home. Such a view.
Have a great time on your trip to the Frick museum.

Speaking of Rembrandt Van Rijn, the first home is very representative of the colors in his palette. It is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go with you!
I love the apartment. I would move right in there if I was forced too. :) Great views of the Park.
ReplyDeletei need the terrace in manhattan.
ReplyDeletebut,
as always you kill me with these posts.
the embroidery on the skirts of those chairs are to die for.
the fireplace in the bath.
the red wallpapered bedroom.
it is all too yummy for words.
thank you xxx
Tina~My favorite is the first one mainly because of the interiors. The style, the warmth of the all the wood, the colors are me all the way. But the a re all very beautiful!

Wow-I'll take the first one!! I'm your newest follower-stop by for a visit-Claire
ReplyDeleteMy personal style goes for the incredible NY apartment, clean lines but very elegant. But do love the first houses' exterior and the second one, though quite beautiful is too formal for my way of life/style. Awesome open house.....you know how to pick em!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I hope you enjoy the Rembrandt exhibit. I was lucky enough to see it several years ago and loved it. All of the homes are gorgeous but I especially like the architectural details and the atrium in the first home. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sherry
None of the interiors are my style at all . Too cluttered and old fashioned. I do like the Hamptons home and the NYC apartment.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to see how we all see these differently, I don't see this as old fashioned at all...but old world and stately YES! Love the flavor each offers, my personal leaning is towards the first house but I do greatly admire the interiors in the high rise apt. What eye candy for us house nuts:)
ReplyDeleteAmazing, if I had a choice I would choose the first estate.
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteArt is forever a loving adventure. Enjoy Enjoy!
Showhouse Sunday has many wonderful details to enjoy. I love them all they are warm, detailed both on the interiors and exteriors. Beautiful floors, curved doorways, window treatments, embroidery on chair skirts and drapery are fantastic. Beautiful doors, ship chandelier, wood panel walls, art, books, and views. I'll take one of each as they all are beautiful and comfortable.

Okay, if absolutely, positively forced into one of these homes, I mean really pushed into the domicile against our will (heh, heh), we would go for the apartment. In a heartbeat. But they are all extraordinary, the French one holds an awful lot of appeal as well, there's just a great ambience to it.
ReplyDeleteI also love the lamps, what a wonderful giveaway. We have an Italian mid-century set in one of our bedrooms, discovered in a little hole-in-the-wall in Florida.
Hope you have a delightful Monday!

I love the exterior of the first home, the interiors of both, and the views of the second home best!
ReplyDeleteOh, wait! I mistook the 2nd home for the 3rd one. Oh, shoot! I love them all!
