For my sons room......love the navy pop this will give a simple treatment
A few of the finalists for fabric and two tapes, the one on bottom I think is the winner
Its a great match and not overpowering to the beauty of the floor
And I am really lusting after this 10 PLY you heard right...10! cashmere sweater coat. SO great looking and I love gray, it goes with everything (found at Gorsuch, one of my favorite online shops to drool over)
This is so "me"...anyone who knows me will agree!
I will take the boots too, though a bit high for me...but I guess I could swing it on occasion.
You know I love when you send me your pictures...I get so excited! So was thrilled to get these pictures from my buddy, Elizabeth (she, Melinda and I have a planned fall meet up in Virginia horse country) and I cannot wait!! They have even promised to throw me a brunch like this one with little 'ol me as the guest of honor. Theres no way I am letting them back down now!! Feast your eyes on this gorgeous fete.......(featuring my silver chargers that she bought from me)
The chargers look perfect with her stunning Herend gracing them!
Speaking of beautiful tables....admittedly I started thinking of Thanksgiving, my favorite dinner where I eat with abandon, oops my favorite holiday of all! I think this year I am treating myself to Spodes woodland pattern for fall dining. It is so classic and I have always admired it. Think it would look pretty nifty on the chargers, don't you think!
Dough bowls..everyone seems to love them! I get frequent requests for small round ones and wish I had one for every time someone has wanted one!! I got in a batch of 3 small ones (about 11" round) and have one left, if interested email me. Click here to email.
The napkin rings that everyone loved from my find at Brimfield are going to be officially up for sale in my shop tomorrow. If you missed my Brimfield post, its worth a look, click here. There are a wide variety of styles/designs and there is a customizable service available too. To start I am going to offer one of 6 styles. The equestrian, the various animals on a bike, and a few others. Below are two of the ones that really caught my eye. These take approx. 3 weeks as they are made to order. Right now I have 4 in stock of the first style (4 different animals, very whimsical) and 2 of the equestrian (with 8 on order). If you are interested, must shoot me an email otherwise look for them tomorrow or Thursday!
The set includes one dog, one bear, one rabbit and one squirrel
The equestrian style-
Also very happy to report that my lamps category is finally being added. It will possibly be up by the time you are seeing this or at the latest by late in the day today. I apologize for the delay. I know many of you have inquired but its here at last and all items for sale are in stock! I think its a pretty fabulous selection of harder to find than ever blue and white porcelain lamps. In addition I am going to carry other colors so feel free as always to let me know if you are looking for something in particular that you do not see (size or color). Click here to take a peek, and here's a few to give you an idea......
And of course the super popular mini Staffordshire dog lamps, now in two colors.....
Also got in this very large magnficent planter/footbath from my porcelain vendor. I actually want to use a pair eventually in the dining room but for now put it on my coffee table. Its quite large about 22" long and 12" tall with beautiful ormolu handles......take a look! I could see it without anything as the beautiful design is carried out on the inside of the planter or with beautiful flowers planted (orchids would be stunning)!
UPDATE- per many requests this planter/footbath is now on my online store. Click here to see it in my online store. I also have it in another style, a departure from my blue and white but it was too pretty to pass up.......
And the other style.....also stunning!
Also loving my new monogram items, ordered these "T" soaps and let me tell you, besides being totally beautiful, they lather up and smell heavenly. REALLY good quality soap, even my 16 year old remarked on them, and he doesnt' normally say anything about "things like that".
Kept next to my kitchen sink!
So that about wraps up all my odds and ends this week, a little all over the map but thats what makes these posts fun to write up. Hope you are having a good and productive week. The weather has been splendid here with a capital S! Just over the top amazing. Thanks for stopping in......
So much to comment on I know I will forget something! LOVE the hardware, do you mind if I ask who makes it? It is literally perfect. I also love the choice for the window treatment and finishing it with a beautiful trim. I like the idea of a beautiful tape too and think the one you found for your husbands bath is so beautiful with the floor.
ReplyDeleteOf course adore your taste so really love all the new things coming in, I need a pair of lamps and see one that I love.
The pewter napkin rings are so unique and special, I can see those on a holiday dinner table.
Your friends party table is so elegant. I love those chargers and hope you will get them in again!
Phew...hope I remembered it all, fun post! Thanks for the eye candy.
PS LOVE all the boot and fashions, so classic and rich looking. You get my vote!
Lots going on, you are busy as usual! Love the hardware details and seeing how your rooms are coming together. The boots! They make me want to go shopping for fall - I haven't any of that yet! And speaking of shopping, love all the new treasures for your store. Happy Wednesday, Tina. XO
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Tina:
ReplyDeletePack filled it was!! Your hardware is awesome and I so love the one with centered medallion.
Your sons room is going to be awesome!
Window seat fabrics I love but will send you (as a designer) one of my favorite new fabrics that I have been using a lot with my clients. . . it is in our Duralee showroom and it is a great textured fabric that comes in zillions of colorways . . . Clark Fabrics. If you need a good solid texture anywhere, you may like it. I have just discovered the line of fabrics.
As for the boots. . . . love them. Must go and check out the first pair you posted!
I am just getting back to blogging after having major surgery this summer and yay, all is well and normal!
Love how your home is looking these days (hmmm, from day 1)

My goodness, this is one fabulous post, Tina! I can't believe Christmas is around the corner either, but that must mean cold weather, YES!
ReplyDeleteLove your fabric choices, and the hardware is fabulous. And of course the shop items are to-die-for!
Happy Wednesday.

Hi Tina!
ReplyDelete- You are NOT ALONE!
- Love your fabrics choices.
- Love news items for your shop.
- Love as usual...your post! :)
Have a nice and fappy day!
Tchau, Ana
You are most definitely NOT ALONE! Life is speeding by me at lightening speed and today I truly feel panicky! All the while…trying to appear cool, calm and collected! RIGHT! Anyway…your hardware choices are fabulous and I love everything for your boy's rooms! Also…we not only have the same taste in home decor but definitely in boots and coats as well! I love all that you showed! I bought a FABULOUS pair of boots when I went to visit my son at Auburn a few weeks ago! Going to see him will end up getting me in trouble! Great shops there! I'm incredible jealous of the three of ya'll getting together! Sounds amazing and I can't wait to hear about it!! Lots of love sent your way and hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
ReplyDeleteHave only commented one other time. Your blog is like a great book, a fashion magazine, an interior designer as a best friend, a shopping resource and tons of great information all rolled into one!! I cannot imagine my day without reading your blog. Found it through Pinterest where pictures of your incredible kitchen were featured.
ReplyDeleteThe hardware, fabrics and all your selections could not be any prettier.
Your friends table was so gorgeous. I really love the whole setting and the beautiful chargers.
I will be emailing you for the pewter napkin rings, think they are so special.
Thank you for putting together such wonderful things to read over and over again.
Good morning Tina,
ReplyDeleteWow that is a lot to take in! I am sure I will forget to comment on a lot but the highlights for me were the fabulous boots, and the cashmere coat!!! Love the Tory Burch boots!
I know how you feel about Christmas...I am already getting anxious! But truth be told, I am already finished shopping. I get anxious about all of the travel, the guests, the baking and the parties.
Love the fabric choices for the window treatments and the new hardware. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
Have a great day, Elizabeth
Tina I love All of your choices, in interior design furnishings, fabrics, fashion (well maybe not the high heel boots, I can no longer take the torture!)

ReplyDeleteTina... I can't get over the attention to detail of your home. Everything is pretty much perfect!

that cashmere jacket and the high boots are fabulous! i have been stalking a pair of fryes online myself.
ReplyDeletei love your choices for the hardware--get down with yer mixing it up, baby!
smiles to you.

Love Gorsuch! Love the flat-heeled boots. I've got a post up today you will LOVE, on fashion, of course.
ReplyDeleteAnd, those napkin rings make me crazy, Tina. Sending love, darling one....
I think the hardware for the kitchen is a hit. Looks great. I really like the Roman shade tape against the bathroom floor pattern. In looking at the bench seat window treatments I feel that the proposed pattern might conflict with the current pattern found in the seat and pillows? I do like the lighter colors of the treatment. Have a great rest of the week! - Tonya
ReplyDeleteGood morning Tina, as always it is nice to drink coffee and muse with you...desperately love the linel like fabric on the right side for you Hubby's bath, it is very elegant yet feels casual, country.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric for your bench is better in my mind for it will allow the rich seat fabric to speak louder and be more noticed and adding the perfect softness in the cussions with less prominent pattern ....great choice.
Boots are great...just looking for the perfect riding boots (: to actually ride horse in...my first time...
hugs Z
Love the hardware for your kitchen! And all of the new store items are beautiful s ever!
ReplyDeleteLove your choice of cabinet hardware and think you are right on the mark with color, scale and fabric texture for your window seat - window treatment!
ReplyDeleteI think the smaller scale fabric is a great refrain to the large-scale fabric on your seat cushion and the tassel trim adds the right "bling" to finish the look!
Good design is always in the details! Thanks for sharing your good taste with us!
Teen: I had not gotten your blog post yet but Beth Called me and told me to go on and see your lamps that you posted. She has been looking at Blue and White lamps. So I go on and I am reading while she was on the phone and I wiz down and see pictures that looked familiar but it took me a few minutes to realize that those were pictures that Beth took of my Luncheon for 8 last Sunday. I had 8 gals to lunch last Sunday, the day after another big storm. We dined under our tent. I won this luncheon at the Keswick Garden Club. The auction was for a luncheon for 8 at your home and the table centerpiece. It was a fantastic day, the flowers bloomed, the ladies glowed, the food was divine, the proseco gone. Everyone had a very relaxing afternoon. I loved the way the table turned out. Beth takes the best pictures and Yes we will be doing a luncheon for you when you set the date. Beth and I talk about you everyday and say what would "The Teen" do? I am so very happy and surprised that we were included in todays blog posting. There were so many great things in this blog as there are everyday. It has become our bible. I love my chargers and so did all my guests. I could go on for ever about all you do and are doing. We are big fans of yours down here in Keswick VA. A very big thank you to Beth for sending the photos and for you posting them. You both made my day. Cheers, Melinda Bennett
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing the napkin rings in your shop. Will we be able to buy one at a time?
ReplyDeleteKaren
Hello Tina from Montana! Your blog gets me through my days and weeks. Your home is beyond anything I have ever seen, be it by book, internet, magazine or wherever. I already have three things from your store and am lusting over more. Are you going to bring back the silver chargers? That footbath is fabulous. The handles, the birds, yep I need that as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your home with us, I truly appreciate it!
How do you get so much done in a week, Tina?! We're looking forward to cooler weather and that cashmere coat and rain proof boots would be perfect for weekend rowing regattas. Happy rest of the week!

Oh Tina like so many others, I am in awe of your taste, talent and warmth (that comes through loud and clear in your writings- trust me)!!
ReplyDeleteThe tapes and fabrics combos- keep em and go for it, look no more!
Love your friends party, so elegant, reminds me of a Kentucky derby party I attended not long ago, very elegantly done! I would LOVE to buy those chargers, hope you will get them again?
I am swooning over your new porcelain footbath, I must have it!! It will work perfectly in my living room as those are all my colors and I am sucker for anything with birds.
Love the fall fashion choices, all so beautiful. Have you been to the Gorsuch outlet in Vail? Its fantastic and as hard as my husband tries to keep me away, it never works;-)
Thanks for adding such beauty and fun to my morning!!
Kate
PS The hardware- madly in love with it! You MUST do it!
ReplyDeleteTina your fabric choices are perfect for the guys.. love it! You fall boots choices are gorgeous as is the cashmere coat - gorgeous!! AND you aren't alone.. every decade it seems more and more important.
ReplyDeleteYour friends chargers look great!!!and what a fun outing you have planned!!
YES to all of it. The tape for your husbands bath tile floor, your sons room, the hardware and the window treatment fabric for the window seat.
ReplyDeleteI want every item in your shop and now want to add the lamps to my long wish list. Love your fall picks for boots, I also live in boots, and just bought a great pair from Chloe (big splurge but its my bday in Oct)!
This was such a wonderful post, as usual and your friends table is DEVINE!
Emailing you about the dough bowl, it needs to come "home".
So much packed in here as usual Tina. :) I love those second boots especially! I am a boots girl too - totally fashionable but also comfortable at the same time - gotta love that. It's sunny here but getting crisper - my favorite combination so I'm getting in the Fall mood!
ReplyDelete...not to worry...when you hit your 60s it is like your 20s...nothing bothers you...blessings laney (of course you do have to survive your 40s and 50s)
ReplyDeleteYikes, you have been a busy bee! Love the choices for the bathroom and that second pair of boots are gorgeous! Simply stunning. Almost makes me look forward to fall....almost:)

Love..love antique brass hardware...that's going to be perfect...and what a beautiful table that your new friend set with the fabulous silver chargers...yes...I would hold her to that brunch, and i'm sure she will be thrilled to oblige.
ReplyDeleteYou have been one busy lady! Love the hardware you chose! I also need a pair of each of those boots! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteOh Tina those boots are divine! I love to see your ideas and swatches for your decorating schemes, so much care and attention to detail. Sending hurried hugs from this old farmhouse in England - Glenda xxx
ReplyDeleteWow. So much to comment on here - love the look of the brass hardware and the style really makes the brass feel more traditional and less trendy (love that). The roman shades for your hubby and sone with the tape - right up my alley. I love flat trims so much that I don't think they make enough of them (think I've looked at every single one they make and still want more). Totally agree that the bottom one is best for your son's room. The other is to yellow. Then the roman shade in your paneled room - LOVE. I think the small scale print is the perfect pick given the busier fabric on the seat (and a solid would stand out too much (given the busier seat). Wheh! Lots to comment on! Still adoring your style, Tina. As always. M.
ReplyDeleteOh! One last thing. Notice on the tablescape they've used antique frogs for the place cards. So good! M.
ReplyDeleteI have those same pulls on my kitchen island drawers in a rubbed bronze, (my island is a cream color w/ a glaze). LOVE them! They make the island.
ReplyDeleteI could use a pair of new flat (comfy boots) this season - loving the Tory Burch. Her flats kill my feet...I'm wondering if the boots would be more of the same. xo
There is so much to comment on, I am sure I will forget something. Here goes, love the hardware, excellent choice, makes the island feel old world and antique and that look works so well in your home.
ReplyDeleteLove your boot choices and that cashmere coat is delicious! I could live in that, bet its so comfortable too.
Your tape/fabric choices are so perfect, look no more.
For the window seat, think you should buy one yard and tack it up, I do that a lot and it really helps envision how things will look.
Of course I adore all your store items, the new lamps are gorgeous and I think I need to splurge on that planter with the birds! It is so beautiful, Tina!
Hope you have a wonderful day.
Tina, I love those knobs...they would be perfect for my china- hutch that I just refinished. Where did you get them? Also, love the fabric, it is perfect and the boots I gotta have! By the way, if I had the extra cash right now, I would be everything in your shop. Those napkin rings are to die for!
ReplyDeleteHi my name is Joy, I live in Brazil and I have a fashion blog!

I definitely think you found a winner with the hardware, and the fabrics for the bathroom are perfect - simple and elegant. I still cannot get over the beautiful tile...simply gorgeous!!

Tina, never a dull moment on your blog!!!! So much progress and newness to take in!! I have sooooooooo much to catch up on!! Hugs!!
ReplyDeleteI was just in Costco earlier today and they had all of their Christmas things out, even the trees set up. Oh, my... I'm not ready for all of that yet! On another note, I'd be happy to have every pair of those boots! Divine. xo
ReplyDeleteSo much to love here. I love all the new lamps, that big footbath and all the great new finds. Your shop gets better and better.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric choices for windowseat and your husbands bath. Very elegant and yet masculine.
Cannot wait to see the hardware up, its perfect for the black cabinets, it really dresses them up. I love boots too, just ordered a Tory Burch pair, though have not had a lot of luck with the fit of her footwear.
Last those napkin rings are so beautiful. Perhaps the prettiest I have ever seen, so unusual like little jewels for a tabletop.
All lovely.
Hi Tina - I look forward to your posts - they are always such fun! I love the new things in the shop! The boots are great (esp. the Tory Burch's) and that sweater is "to die"!
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog - it's so hard when you first start out. Sometimes I think my only readers are my mom and daughter! It's nice to hear from another blogger, especially one of my favorites!
Have a great weekend!
Wow, that laser cut tile in you bathroom is stunning! I love all the finishing touches that you are adding to an already elegant space! Cannot wait to see the end result.

I love it when a person gets to either purchase or build their dream home. Congratulations. I know how you feel because I have my own dream home too. The fabric that you chose for the window seat is lovely. The tile flooring in the bathroom is gorgeous. The spode plates are very pretty. I have a small collection in blue and white.
ReplyDeleteeverything, as usual is beautiful.
