ReplyDeletemargueritecore [at] gmail [dot] com
I adore your bell jar lanterns and canvas art. Specifically CA 13. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteEaston or the Booth group. Beautiful rooms.
ReplyDeleteMY choice would be DAVID EASTON, but they all are very good. From your store I love the monogrammed (black)guest towels and the beautiful green porcelain items with the birds.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon dear Tina! OH I am having fun at this moment. Your post is GORGEOUS AND MAY I ENTER YOUR GIVEAWAY? AND my builder is here! I am showing him your home! We are talking about putting the beams into our new rooms!!!!!!!! I am beside myself. He is a charm and he is just one of the best! HE IS DROOLING OVER YOUR CASTLE!!!!!

I choose No. 1 - David Easton. I think he will appreciate and will know what to do with all of our stuff. I absolutely love so many things in your shop but, to choose just one for now, it will be the PA 22 Stunning porcelain planter. I'll have orchids on them and would look great in the living room. bebettcruz (at) yahoo (dot) com
ReplyDeleteWould have to go with Mary McDonald. I have met her and she is great fun and I think she is extremely talented. My husbands partner had her decorate their home outside of L.A. and it is absolutely breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteLove your store, Tina. I ordered the dinner napkins and my favorite item (and the item I am buying next) is those tulip belljars, just like yours. I am a copycat.
Great post.
Boy was this tough!! Based on these photographs, I will go with David Easton. That first photo is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI have already ordered something from your store and you can be sure I'll be back.
I would choose John Jacob or Steven Gambrel! They are all so beautiful it is hard to choose. I love the linen guest towels too!
ReplyDeleteMy faves are definitely John Jacob and Ashley Whittaker. Both have lovely strong style.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - so much talent (all in one post!!) Love everything Tina. Your blue and whites are my favorite. These monogrammed linens are gorgeous! So excited to receive my purchases and can't wait to see what you are adding.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are enjoying a relaxing weekend.
It would be such a dream and honor to hire any of these talented people. But the John Jacob rooms really spoke to me and ironically, I had never heard of him ( and I read every design magazine there is). You offered fabulous options.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your weekend was relaxing. And HUGE congratulations on your first shipments out of your online store. You are inspiring my friend!!!!
John Jacob, though all are talented and amazing, each in a unique way. What I would give to have some of that creativity!
ReplyDeleteMary Mc!!! Also lovn' the Palm Design & Crisscross Smokebell Just a sidebar.... You had said when the shop opend you needed feedback. I am a fan of opening a link on another page. Clicked your shop & shopped around then had to navigate back to the blog.... just my humble opinion. Did not see a blog link on the shop. Love the lighting!
ReplyDeleteI love John Jacob and your monogrammed cocktail napkins are my favourite pick from your store!
ReplyDeleteBut then again, I love everything in your store.
Cheers,
Victoria
Hands down....choice 6 (M. Elle) is my fav! All of them are absolutely beautiful though. :O)
ReplyDeleteCharlotte Moss would be my pick and I love the silver trophy planter from your store!
ReplyDeleteMary F.
I was on your site when you first announced your store opening & think you have some wonderful pieces. I love the canvas art, the silver pieces and statues. My fav. piece although, is actually the Etched Glass (BJ06) Bell Jar Lantern. Stunning!!
ReplyDeleteDecisions, decisions.... I think I would go with Barry Dixon. When you love everything in the shop, it's hard to choose one thing as my fave. Your linens are gorgeous and I also love, love, love the silver pieces you have - especially the trophy/flower bowl. Gorgeous :)
ReplyDeletesally.puckett@yahoo.com
Tina- I have ordered the dinner napkins so would love to win the cocktail napkins otherwise will buy them I have always been a big fan of Barry Dixons work, and we are from the same hometown! He is so talented and I have had the honor of seeing some of his work at a few showhouses. Would be so happy to have him come take over here!
ReplyDeleteAs I'm reading through the designer names, I'm thinking "I can't choose just one!" and I saw you couldn't either! For me, it would be between Charles Faudree, Ashley Whitaker and Phoebe Howard. Sigh - a girl can dream, right? I think I'd have to put their names on straws and just draw one. In your shop, I'm loving the new porcelain with the birds. Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteCHOICE 5 STEVEN GAMBRELL
ReplyDeleteclean lines, uncluttered, enviting and warm!!!
My choice would be Brooke Giannetti, not on your list but I know that you appreciate her as much as I do! If I had to choose from those above, it would be number 1, Mr. Easton.
ReplyDeleteJohn Jacob my favorite, although all so inspirational! Thanks for posting such beautiful images! My "favorite" (one of many) items is the Canvas art..especially the still life. Also, love all the silver pieces..Cannot just stop at one. Moving soon and looking forward to shopping with you once we are settled!
ReplyDeleteYou want me to choose one of the fab designers?? Well, Charles Faudree. In your shop I love the blue coral pillows and the lemon tree topiaries :)
ReplyDeleteMary McDonald. And love the topiaries on your new site!
ReplyDeleteCharles Faudree for me. I am a big fan of his work and own every single one of his books. He manages to create beautiful rooms that also feel so inviting and cozy.
ReplyDeleteI love so much in your shop, but the canvas art and belljars rank high as they are both things I am considering and of course love those lemon topiaries.
My favorite, John Saladino, is not on your list, so I would pick another design group I have admired for years -- McAlpine, Booth and Ferrier. All the designers featured, however, are very talented and I would be thrilled with any one of them. I made purchases from your store on Day One -- the silver trophy planter and the monogrammed towels. Next on my wish list when my kitchen reno is completed are the etched bell jar lanterns, but I am off to check out your new additions to see what else is tempting.
ReplyDeleteAll the best...Victoria
David Easton is the man for me...followed by Cathy Kinkaid. They both do a phenomenal job and I would be happy with the work of either one.
ReplyDeleteTina, I visited your shop and I still love the garden fluted urn-I also love the little cherub which appears in the header to that section but I don't see that for sale anywhere. I would love to win those napkins. I have a set that belonged to Grandmother Clara and the ones you are showing are so similar..and I use them every time I entertain for family. So, throw my name in the hat. xo Diana
Love Ashley Whittaker!! also love Steven Gambrell.
ReplyDeleteMary McDonald is so glamorous and the rooms you picked for Sherill Canet are among my favorites.
Your napkins are beautiful. I wish you had dinner size with three initials. I would order them right now!!!
BTW your dining room rug is lovely. Do you scotchguard the rug? I am having some eight year old young ladies for a Fancy Nancy Lunch and was hoping the scotchguard will protect???
Well, that's not fair because I said the monogramed cocktail napkins were one of my favorites LAST time! But this time I will say the light weight garden statuary/pots. Suzi pblapere@att.net
ReplyDeleteLoved the designs by Phoebe Howard. Those napkins are just beautiful. kkossa28@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteCHOICE 5 STEVEN GAMBRELL:)
ReplyDeleteNumber 13 McAlphine, Ferrier and Booth for me hands down. So many wonderful choices and like you I could easily choose between several.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday Evening!

Debra~
Wow, this is tough; but the more I really imagine someone working that closely with me, it would absolutely be Charlotte Moss. I think I may be her Number One fan! Tina, the choices of products that you're featuring in your shop are all things that I love. The monogrammed linens are always so yummy and personal. I so enjoy your blog and look forward to every post! Liking you on fb too!
ReplyDeleteCathy Kincaid, her rooms are to die for. She has that beautiful old world style but for todays living.
ReplyDeleteIt would be impossible to choose one thing from your store! I love it all and eagerly await my purchases. However next on my list is the European dough bowl. My kitchen island is waiting impatiently for one.
Fun post, have a nice night Tina.
Laura56fowler@yahoo.com
Looking at those Thomas OBrien spaces makes me happy. I would be so happy to have him come and take over here, my apt. needs all the help it can get and hes adorable too.
ReplyDeleteLove your lighting and silver line, so beautiful.
Alicia
Based solely on those pics, I would say Meg Braff.
ReplyDeleteI love your garden planters! So authentic looking.
I would love to have the "decorator fairy" come visit . Hoping it would be either Meg Braff or Cathy Kinkaid, they were both amazing. I really love the monogramed linen from your store, so elegant. Perfection like the whole store.
ReplyDelete*** What a BOATLOAD of TALENTS you just shared, Tina... many thanks for the "FUN SAILING" this fine Sunday afternoon!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huuuuge fan of #6 (M ELLE), #5 (STEVEN GAMBRELL) and #12 (ASHLEY WHITAKER)... not necessarily in that particular order, but could SOOO LIVE with ANYthing they did, I'm sure!!!
******** BUUUUUT... I must admit there's ONE PERSON/COUPLE I'd not only let/WISH could/would PICK (or preferably DESIGN/BUILD!) our new home, ANNNND DECORATE it ENTIRELY, and that's BROOKE & STEVE GIANNETTI... talk about "HEAVEN on EARTH"!!! I really WOULD think I had "died and gone to heaven!!!"......Lovvvve their warm, fab and personal style and flair, and adore Brooke (so Steve MUST be a Sweetie, too!)...
Glad to hear your lovely shop is doing so well... It's all yummy, and I am SOOO "into" your bell lanterns~~~ DELISH!!!
Warmest regards this beautiful Sunday day (we're having R*A*I*N!!! YIPPEE!!!)...

I pick the monogrammed cocktail napkins. Have wanted to order them since your store "opened"!
ReplyDeleteJanis Stufflebean
janisstflbn@aol.com
Charles Faudree would be number one on my list.
ReplyDeleteCharles Faudree is my favorite and I love the aubusson pillows.
ReplyDeleteI love the single lemon leaf topiary in the tole container.
ReplyDeleteThis is way too hard for me to call so I went with the gal with the chandeliers, Cathy Kincaid and hope she puts one in every room for
ReplyDeleteme and provides me with someone that will clean them regularly.
I love everything about John Jacob's style. In your store, I love, love the wooden trivets!
ReplyDeleteTo live in a space decorated by any one of these extremely talented designers would be divine!! But, my fav is
ReplyDelete#12 Ashley Whittaker, followed closely by #3 John Jacob and #8 Meg Braff! But really do love them all!
CHOICE 11 MARY MCDONALD. But I must admit, it wasn't an easy choice. I'm fairly new to your blog, Tina, but I can't say enough times how wonderful it is. Love the Shop and good luck on that venture.
ReplyDeleteJohn Jacob takes the cake! Lovely styling and balance. Wow, what a choice of masters. Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Beth, I liked John Jacob's work the best.
ReplyDeleteDavis Easton is my first choice. Love the guess towels in addition to many other items in your shop.
ReplyDeleteOh so hard to choose just one... I have to say it's a tie between David Easton and Meg Braff--I know both would make my home look fabulous! My favorite store items are the bell jar lanterns, followed immediately with your blue & whites (I, too, am a "blue & white" girl!!)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'd love to win the cocktail napkins. Have a glorious week!
For me, it was 14, Charles Faudre. Loved the colors and especially the bedroom!
ReplyDeleteJohn Jacob or Mary McDonald...both super sexy people and design super sexy interiors! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDelete...charlotte...but she would have to bring bunny with her...
ReplyDeleteOh, what a decision! I am in love with so much of the work that is shown! I think I would narrow it down to Cathy Kincaid, Phoebe Howard and David Easton, choosing David, because I think we would 'get' each other's aesthetic.
ReplyDeleteMy fav in your shop is the Large Heavily Detailed Planter in Silver SW-08. as is all the rest, so pretty.
Thank you for this opportunity!
Hugs, Chris
Oh dear...I have to pick three 1. John Jacob 2. Charlotte Moss 3. Mary McDonald...classic but livable..
ReplyDeleteLorraine
Oh I'm loving the topiary's with the lemons!!!
ReplyDeleteLove, MCALPHINE FERRIER AND BOOTH and Love Phoebe Howard too! Actually, I would take any of them if given the opportunity! Enjoy your blog and hope to be the winner of your give away!
ReplyDeleteBarry Dixon. Timeless and eclectic.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite item in your store is the bell jar with trellis etching. Asking me to choose between these designers is like asking me to choose which of my children is my favorite....just kidding....but a very difficult question. But my pick would be Meg Braff. Her homes make me smile :)
ReplyDeleteLeigh B.
Oh, just to choose one! David Easton or Meg Braff...I think I'd have to go with David...I can see us having a gin & tonic and then getting into some serious design. And, I can use all the help I can get...even of the fairy godmother type! Tina, love you blog, your store...especially the planters and the porcelain! You have that style!
ReplyDeleteCindy Haygood
cindyhaygood@gmail.com
How could I possibly pick between Charles Faudree and Mary McDonald? Love the pillows and linens from the store.
ReplyDeleteI don't even have to think long and hard about this. It would, hands down, be Charles Faudree. He is my favorite designer. I look through his books weekly for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI would pick Mary McDonald. Her designs are brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I Love Charlotte Moss! And the pendants that you have at your store too!
ReplyDeleteGina Maria from Honduras
So hard to choose but probably David Easton. His style would suit my house well I think. My favourite product is the guest towels. I was just telling someone about them this morning!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh I don't even know. Could I pick John Jacob just because he is as attractive as his rooms? haha!
ReplyDeleteHands down Phoebe Howard - for me her spaces are perfect...not too much and not too little. That dark green dining room with nailhead wall trim is my idea of a 6-hour culinary experience where the food had better be as good as the surroundings. Amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteAnyone of these creatives would be fantastic. They all bring such unique ideas to a space. Love the Bell Jar Laterns.
I'd love to win the guest towels. Happy Weekend!
Bette
I love every single thing in your store, but think the porcelain pieces are especially lovely. Love your posts, Tina!
ReplyDeleteNo way...too many talented people for me to pick a favorite here. Each one has their own unique style that is just fabulous. Love everything in your store. Congratulations! You have a winner. XO, Mona
ReplyDeleteWhat a great thought - now this really had me thinking, because I can't tell you what I would give to have one of these fairy godmothers wave their magic wand over my house at the moment and take all the decisions, work, stress and responsibility away from me and just create something wonderful. It was a hard decision, but in the end I think it comes down to either Phoebe Howard or Ashley Whittaker for a comfortable and elegant family home, although if I didn't had kids and could do something more glamorous I'd pick Mary McDonald.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the handpainted tole planter! So pretty. What a sweet giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteMary McDonald!! I was so glad you included her. What a great idea for this series! All 16 are incredibly talented, though, and it would be hard to choose. I'm so glad to hear that the store us going well and that you are enjoying it!
ReplyDeleteXo Stacy
Favorite item............I think the silver contianers are really beautiful. Classic, and just enough bling. Thanks for such great items! As for the designer to choose, Barry Dixon, hands down. Thanks,
ReplyDeleteMary Casey
Tough, because I like elements of so many! But, if I have to.... #5 Steven Gambrell... Clean and fresh.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that things are already flying off the shelves Tina - congratulations! I'm going to choose Steven Gambrel although I'd love to see what Thomas O'Brien would do with my city loft and what McAlpine Booth and Ferrier would do to my Italian estate (both imaginary unfortunately!). What a fun spin on your series. Nicely done!
ReplyDeletecharles faudree....love everything in your shop! sheamk4@cox.net
ReplyDeleteDesigner John Jacob has my vote. Among your lovely items in the shop, I would choose first the vintage replica trophy bowl/flower bowl.
ReplyDeleteWell, my all time favorite is Charles Faudree. Definitely French and I am a francophile through & through. I've been told that my home is very much Charles Faudree and that made me extremely happy!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose Ashley Whittaker, but Charles Faudre seems like a better fit for your style.
ReplyDeleteI love the bell jars. I'm trying to find somewhere I can use them.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a dream to work with McAlpine Ferrier and Booth. I would absolutely be happy with any of their services.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, they are all great so it is hard to decide. If dreams could come true Booby McAlpine would be designing my new home so I am going to make that firm my choice. As far as your store goes, that is another hard choice.the medium size breadboard would be a wonderful addition to the two I have now.
ReplyDeleteAll of these designers are tops in my book, but I LOVE David Easton's tradition with flair! The elements are perfect, the colors sublime - he just does it perfectly time after time! =)
ReplyDeleteAlso love your new store. I'm debating between a couple of blue and whites for my house!
The lighting is better than fabulous! (Could you please put dimensions all your items so we know what size we're looking at? I'd REALLY appreciate that!
Congrats on the site - you've done a great job!
I don't know know how to comment here! I don't have a blog - so I don't have those accounts they mentioned! I'm the anonymous comment above! LOL!
DeleteDee Ann Petrlak Treanor! =)
I just loved ALL of your selections! What talent!
ReplyDeleteCharles Faudre gets my vote but all of the rooms are beautifully done!
mmdietrich@yahoo.com
Well, my friend as usual with your "which would you choose post" I can not choose one.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all it is very difficult for a designer to choose another designer for her own home, however, I would have to say Charlotte Moss then Charles Faudree and David Easton not far behind. They are all amazing wonderful talents for sure! Fun post as always.
Pam Kelley
I love all the European Kitchen items. What a wonderful giveaway! While there're many great designers here, I would have to without hesitation choose Charles Faudree. I have admired his work for many years. I have all his books (some signed) and have met him. He is such a gracious person.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a hard decision....I love soooo many things... Especially the silver and the colors of foo dogs. Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a hard decision....I love soooo many things... Especially the silver and the colors of foo dogs. Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteThe Bavarian bread boards are my favorite. I'm with you it is tough to pick just one designer out of your list. I would have said Charlotte Moss or Charles Faudree right off the bat, but when I looked at the photos David Easton trumped them. I was surprised!
ReplyDeleteJohn Jacobs...really love what he has done in these photos. Would love the monogrammed napkins!
ReplyDeleteHello! I have been enjoying your blog having only recently found your beautiful home. I must say the John Jacobs kitchen really called my name! But, like you & so many others I would be happy to have any of those wonderful talents work on my home. Your new shop is full of treasures and I would be delighted with the guest towels, but I think the pillows are my favorite - today.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Colleen
Hi Tina
ReplyDeleteGreat post. You mention designers that I'm not familiar with and it's nice to see examples of their work. But most definately, it's Ms. Howard hands down as my favorite. Just got her new book and loving it!
I love you guest towels and will fb you too!
Dawn
Hello! I would totally say Meg Braff! Love her beach style for our Florida living. I've already been eyeing your palm design light for our home, so that would certainly be my favorite from your shop.
ReplyDeleteTina, I love your blog and always enjoy looking at the great pictures you post, not to mention, your house and the beautiful workmanship that is going into it! I would love any of these designers to do my house. I love Cathy Kincaid's use of blue and white porcelain, but I would have to say John jacob's design would suit my lifestyle more. My favorite items in your store would be the blue and white porcelain, especially the large planter AP13. I entertain a lot and would love to have the monogrammed napkins in white!
ReplyDeleteJeanie
Exactly tina, i too could be very happy with 3-4. but my dream designer would be mcalpine & booth, adore their aesthetic.
ReplyDeletelove anything & everything from your european kitchen collection. being a shop owner, i understand the thrill of someone loving what you do, great fun isn't it? continued well wishes on this new venture.

OMG! You are going to force me to choose between Charlotte Moss, Cathy Kincaid, Mary McDonald and Charles Faudree??? REALLY??? I can't bear it! It seems impossible...BUT: under duress, I will choose Charlotte! In my opinion, this is my favorite "Which Would You Choose?" so far!!! Fun, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI love your new online shop and would have to choose the garden fruit in the woven basket sculpture!!! A pair would be so pretty on my patio! Thank you for hosting, Tina!
I was surprised by the appeal of Ashley Whittaker. I've never seen her projects before (or have unknowingly). I am intrigued, and I will be looking her up! I think that the Detailed Filigree Tray would be PERFECT on my new bathroom vanity countertop for my perfume bottles.
ReplyDeleteJohn Jacob. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI think I would have to go with David Easton as my designer. My favorite item (at this very moment) is one of the Aubusson pillows. Though the linens make me swoon.
ReplyDeleteAdore what Steven Gambrel did in the two rooms he designed as they are beautiful, elegant, textured, creative but livable, and not too busy. In your store my favorite item is the large rectangular trivet. Thank you for the chance to win the linen guest towels are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love the monogrammed linens - they are all exquisite, definitely my favorite item in your store.
ReplyDelete#14 Charles Faudre - No contest with the honesty, graciousness and beauty poured into these rooms.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog & love Charles Faudre! I have just finished remodeling my master bath & I would love to have one of the silver trays from your store for my vanity. I just can't decide which one I like best!
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteThis was easy! I'd love Charles Faudree to decorate my home anytime. And I've shopped your wonderful shop and I love the pheasant pillow...among many items.
Karen
Oh easy choice John Jacobs wins hands down! Just Beautiful Have a lovely week xx
ReplyDeleteTina, I just can not choose. There are all so talented
ReplyDeleteNo. 8....Meg
ReplyDeleteI would love one of the topiaries!!! The napkins/towels are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have either Charles Faudree or Charlotte Moss. I love both of their styles. Also I'd be thrilled with the 12 monogrammed coctail napkins. I need them in the letter J. Also I posted a reply on your facebook page.

DeleteI would have to go with Choice number 1, Davis Easton. I love his work. It is alwasy so timeless and elegant and I am alwasy drwn to his use of symetry. Congratulations on the success of your online store. It truly is beatuiful and I love everything you have to offer but if I had to pick one thing it would be the blue and white porcelain planter!
ReplyDeleteCHARLES FAUDREE is my all time favorite, have all of his books. As for your store, I'm loving the new green porcelain with birds. I would love to see you add even more green and coral items to the store as well. LOVE everything, can't wait to get my orders!!
ReplyDeleteMcalpine is my choice Tina! I love his style and have his book on my coffee table!

ReplyDeleteP.S Did you receive my email??
So diffuclut to choose, but the silver planters are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMarianne
I think your silver plant holders are gorgeous and I would fill with blue hyacinths.
ReplyDeleteI like Ashley Whitaker. I like the use of colour and effects on the walls. Some of the others are style over comfort and seem to rely on amazing pieces of furniture. Good luck with choosing!
I love the silver planters and the AP17 fabulous tureen!
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness!!! Mine would have to be a coin toss. I'm not proud! There's several I would LOVE to give a free hand too but then there's your place!!!!! Now I know I can get linens sent the guest towels have all gone!! Will wait till you get more in but l've the placemats and serviettes just trying to think of how many to order. Still LOVE the silver ware but no harm in dreaming.
ReplyDeleteOh, can you imagine? I kind of love the work of M Elle and I love that they are a mother-daughter team although John Jacob would be fun to look at... ha ha. I don't want to enter the giveaway because I just won but didn't want to not leave a comment on such a fun post! Good luck to all of the other entry contestants!!! xo

ReplyDeleteI am so happy your son is home safely.
Blessings,
Kate
Hello Tina,
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering a giveaway! My favorite item is the 'Staffordshire Dogs' in white. I also love the 'Blue and White Octagonal Planter'. Your things are fabulous!
Olga
If Mary McDonald and Charlotte Moss had a baby who grew up super fast and had a baby with Miles Redd (I just had to add him) I would let the baby design my house. LOL, crazy answer huh?
ReplyDeleteJust shopped your shop---looking forward to receiving my blue & whites, silver tray! The cocktail napkins would make a great gift for my daughter-in-law to be---I will order soon if not your winner!
DeleteNancy
Wow, this is harder than usual which is saying something! Not sure I could pick one of these wonderfully talented people but it would be a dream to have Charlotte Moss do anything in my home! I am loving the pheasant needlepoint pillows. Cindy-cindibruce@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteTalk about a hard choice! I would be beyond giddy to have any one of these designers do any space in my home. Based on this portfolio, I would choose in this order; MCALPHINE FERRIER AND BOOTH (thought they used creativity and unexpected pieces), Mary McDonald and Barry Dixon.
ReplyDeleteAwww...I am posting my first comment!! I LOVE your blog by the way! I have spent literally hours looking through your older posts in the last week and have been so inspired...THANK YOU!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI would most definitely pick Charles Faudree first with Charlotte Moss to be my second choice. I have all of their books and you can see many of their inspirations in my home!
Charles has such an amazing knack for making a house, no matter it's grandeur, feel cozy and warm! Charlotte's use of fabrics....LOVE!
Tina, I love this post. That is so funny... we both enjoy Joy Tribouts work.. I love all of these designers and I would have to say they would all be my top picks. I would love to have any of them come into my house and work their magic. Have a wonderful day. Sorry so late in seeing this post, we have been out of town all weekend. I hope you have a great day!!!
ReplyDelete100% absolutely Phoebe!!!! I love all of her work. I know it would be sheer perfection. And we are both in Atlanta, so this should be easy!
ReplyDeleteI'm late, hope not to late for the fun. You didn't make this easy, I love all these rooms. If I had to choose right now I would choose David Easton, love the second room here. This is my dream study Tina.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're getting some down time, you deserve it!
Hope your week is great.

the French Hutch
OK, well I obviously cannot choose between Meg Braff, Barry Dixon, Ashley Whittaker, and Charlotte Moss. Any of them would be A-OK with me since they are my 4 favorite designer!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am dying for one of the pheasant pillows. I already have one pheasant pillow in our living room, but why stop at one?
What wonderful pictures and the choices were tough but I would pick Charles Faudre. I love everything about the rooms. They are beautiful. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love your new shop! My favorite (and something ive been eyeing for a LONG time) is the FLORAL ETCHING bell jar...i really NEED two of the large ones in my kitchen. NEED!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a lovely post (I'm David Easton all the way)
Ashley
Well, my friend as usual with your "which would you choose post" I can not choose one.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all it is very difficult for a designer to choose another designer for her own home, however, I would have to say Charlotte Moss then Charles Faudree and David Easton not far behind. They are all amazing wonderful talents for sure! Fun post as always.
Pam Kelley
Tina, the store looks fantastic! Yay for you! I'm so excited. Now, as to which of these designers would I choose? Well, first off, of course my favorite interior designer and dear friend Dana of Merrill Interior Resources would have to tell me she was unavailable... and Pam at Red Ticking, too. Then, I'd have to go through a series of coin flips... but I think I would choose Charlotte Moss because I've always been dying to meet her. But I'll probably change my mind in about 5 minutes.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, Tina and congratulations again on your lovely shop! XX
WOW - David or Phoebe, David or Phoebe, David or Phoebe....? I think that the lovely Ms. Howard has just tipped the scales for me (Sorry Mr. Easton - I DO love you!).
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you SO much for stopping by my blog when you were only a week old! Yonks ago, I know, but I have been out of 'blogsphere' for SO long, that I am only just doing my catch ups, and I must say that your home and blog is an absolute delight. Well done with the shop as well - inspirational!
Phoebe Howard without a doubt would have to be my all time favorite designer! She "nails" it everytime! You have so many wonderful treasures in your shop. I would have to flip a coin to decide between the pheasant needlepoint pillows or the red tureen tureen (Item number AP17). The tureen has a Herend look about it without a doubt! Keeping my fingers crossed as the monogram towels are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteMy choice would be easy...Charles Faudree. I have been in many of his homes and one was just as wonderful as the next!
ReplyDeleteI love the lemon leaf topiary! Everything in your shop is wonderful! Fingers crossed!!
You are right-TOUGH CHOICE! I have always loved Charles Faudre and Charlotte Moss, but I gotta say I was impressed by Kelly Kincaid- but I gotta go with David Easton---I could move right in! LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteJan from Washington
I love the pretty candles and resin planters!
ReplyDeleteKatherine
kjrowe@bellsouth.net
Your selection of silver is gorgeous and since that is my absolute weakness, I would have to go with one of those gorgeous pieces
ReplyDeleteTina: It's my wife's birthday next week. I know she'd adore the Viennese Blooms Candle in the Toile Container.
ReplyDeleteFrench Country all the way....Love you and Love Charles!!!
Thanks for the blog.
I love the decorating style of Meg Braff most of all! Soooo feminine and pretty! As for choosing what I like most from your shop, it def has to be the " Double Lemon Tree Topiary"!!
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion there is no other besides Charles Faudree. He is the best!
ReplyDeleteWow so hard to choose, I like Joy Thiboult! Also it's hard to find just one thing to name but love the lemon topiaries!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the jar lighting, specifically the feathered lighting. It would be hard to pass on the lemon topiaries though, too!!!
ReplyDeleteNo. 6 - M Elle, hands down is what I would choose to live in day to day. All of them are very talented!
ReplyDeleteCharles Faudre has always had the most sumptuous rooms. And he truly loves dogs.
ReplyDeleteNo contest for me ... John Jacob !!! Love love his style and would totally trust him to deliver elegance style and a twist of the unexpected! He a dish as well and could so enjoy have him swanning about House Tassels! Hee lives just down the road in Cape Town ...sigh!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Veronica
Wow!! hard to choose just one thing-torn between the canvas art and the pillows with the hunting dogs-I will be trying to decide which I will be getting first-thanks!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Ashley Whittaker for me :)
ReplyDeleteI love Charles Faudre's work. I would trust him to decorate my house anytime!
ReplyDeleteI also love the items in your shop. The Fabulous Tureen and the Gorgeous Pheasant pillow are just two of them.
I would love the handtowels with a "M" please.
Lana
Wow this is a tough choice. I would have to go with Mary McDonald, have her book which I love and her personality and style is very well matched to my own, I think we would have a great time and my house would be all the better for it.
ReplyDeleteHard to pick a favorite item as I love so many but for today will go with any of the beautiful silver items!
Carolyn Roehm in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteI do not know why I cannot leave a comment on your blog.....I try to enter contests and for some reason I am missing something. I need my 10 year old grandson to show me how:) anyway.....my favorite item is the artwork, however I just bought some linen.....sick weakness...but am saving for my next purchase of a piece of art...soon. Thanks so much for your store it is so fun and easy to manuver (sp??). Favorite designer....sorry, MY HUSBAND!!!
ReplyDeleteTonya L.
Difficult choice! However, I would select David Easton. I also like Cathy Kincaid as secondary.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite item in your store is the canvas art piece - CA10. Like the artwork - I have a tri-color Cavalier King Charles named Cassidy so my heart went to that piece. Love your store and your website!
Fiona
Wow Tina!
ReplyDeleteEach of these designers stands out in my mind for many reasons but if i was to get to hire one for myself...No. 3 John Jacob or No. 6 M Elle. Can't decide who I like best of the two though!
I love Linen and embroidery! What a great combination and a fab give-away!
Have a great week!
Tina,
ReplyDeleteI would gladly give the design control over to any one of these geniuses.
But....had to stop and realize that you OPENED YOUR STORE while I was relaxing in Mexico! Oh my gosh....congratulations! I am headed there NOW! So impressed and proud of how much you have accomplished this year. I think you have one serious fairy godmother and one of those energizer bunnies!!! :)
xoxo Elizabeth
Phoebe Howard and M Elle are my favorites! My favorite item in the store is the monogrammed linen dinner napkin, probably because I am actually in need of some now! Beautiful selection of items!

Wow, all those designers... so hard to choose as each one has so many wonderful designs... any of them could come and help me!!! ..but if we are to pick,... Love #7 Cathy Kincaid, then #14 Charles Faudre, then #8 Meg Broff!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your silver Planter (SW05) - have to order one soon!
They are all great. I just want to what Charlotte Moss has been doing to herself, and who is helping her. She looks great.
ReplyDeleteJoy Tribout - love the black!
ReplyDeleteI love these linens! my favorite item is the HIGHLY DETAILED (NICKEL PLATED) SILVER TRAY!
ReplyDeleteloving choice 10 and those monogrammed guest towels, tina! what an exciting time for you!
ReplyDeletemichele
either choice #3 or 6 for me :)
ReplyDeleteJohn Jacob's rooms look the best to me based on the choices you gave, but I love Charles Faudree.
ReplyDeleteFrom your store I would pick the wooden dough bowl because I have been wanting one. If I win, I'll take the guest towels. They are great.
Several of these designers really spoke to my sense of style but I think David Easton is my favorite. I am going to have to look more into his designs!
ReplyDeleteOne can never have too many silver trays and yours are beautiful that you offer!
for me is would be charles faudree. i think he has inspired everyone from bonnie williams to rachel ashwell. the french country look is so inviting and put your feet up comfy. and you gotta love his dogs. i have cockers as well-that may be why i like his style.
ReplyDeleteIn our current home I would choose Charlotte Moss or Charles Faudree. My choice might change if my home were more contemporary...but then again, maybe not! Love your blog and love your store's inventory. From your store I've been eyeing the monogramed napkins, great price!
ReplyDeleteMeg Braff, Cathy Kincaid and Ashley Whitaker have decided to work together on my house. Cathy will do the formals and the entry, Ashley will do the kitchen, breakfast room, family room and game room. Meg will do all the bedrooms and baths and the sunroom. I can't wait to have you all over to see it!
ReplyDeleteTina, I decided that my feature will be much better if I wait until my oder arrives. I'm looking forward to featuring you!
For sure Joy Tribout.
ReplyDeleteI would probably pick Mary McDonald 1st (but not necessarily based on the photo below but her other work I've seen); Phoebe Howard and Bobby McAlpine tied for 2nd. Though I would be extremely honored and excited to have any of them!!! (Jan Showers is another one I would chose)
ReplyDeleteDavid Easton....classic and extremely elegant....but then I was also taken with Steven Gambrell who has that "edgy" look to his interiors!
ReplyDeleteThey were ALL fantastic!
Love all in the silver section esp the planters and trays. But love much in your store!
ReplyDeleteAnd in terms of designers - again hard to choose. I love David Easton, Charlotte Moss, Cathy Kincade and Ashley Whittaker.
I am a big fan of more relaxed styles, more Pottery Barn- ish, very comfortable with family in mind, not so frou-frou. Most of the recession, decorator homes here in ATL are as such and feature earths tones and browns and greens are the new neutral.
ReplyDeleteDearest, do you know anything about the upcoming trends in kitchen counter tops, something like corrugated cardboard or compressed wood? Have you heard the guilt-trip rant about how all of the granite used on our counter tops has ruined the natural stone quarries in Africa?
Know anything about the new "environmentally sound" homes...no granite, of course?
Homes styles change too often, and that, ironically, is not environmentally sound!!!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for the most awesome blog!!!
Oh goodness so many pretty things from which to choose in your store! The beautiful gold ornate French mirror could be right at home in my entry way. The Deep Cut Lantern has a spot in the living room and the blue and white candelesticks would be awesome sitting in the book case (and then on the dining table!!).
ReplyDeleteWho to decorate our home? Well, David Easton does a beautiful inviting look that I love, Mcalphine, ferrier and booth would suit our needs, too. As would Steven Gambrell.. soo many wonderful choices, so hard to choose.
Thanks so much for inspiring us with your lovely blog. Also a great big thank you for a chance to win these awesome linens.. a true weakness of mine...I'll just take 12 cocktail napkins with a B if you please...........and I'm so lucky! Thanks anyway.. xo marlis
Wow, this is a tough one, they're all great in their own ways. I adore John Jacobs style, the kitchen is incredible, been in my files for a "long" time. I also Charlotte Moss and Charles Faudree after narrowing it down I believe I would go with, Charles Faudree, I adore his style. What a generous thing for you to do... anyone would be lucky to win these beautiful napkins... hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteI like the Seda 2 wick candle in the toile vase. Thank you for such a wonderful blog. It takes dedication to keep on keeping on.
ReplyDeleteAll of the designers are great! However, my first choice would be Phoebee #10 and then Meg #8. This is more of how I live.
ReplyDeleteI have truly enjoyed following your blog and the building & designing of your dream home! The craftmanship is amazing!
Cindy in Madison, MS
Wow... what a great giveaway... I love your pillows... and the red tureen you featured it one day on your blog. It just spoke to me. Love your blog...thanks for the great giveaway and sharing.
ReplyDeleteTina, love the new porcelains in the green range--AP22 & AP23.
ReplyDeleteBut I am really waiting for the giltwood brackets. Possibly some lovely copies of exciting antique brackets in various sizes??
NEEDLEPOINT PILLOW
ReplyDeleteItem number P19-22x22
Tough decision - also love the linens
I would choose John Jacob. I think that he would "get" my style and needs!
ReplyDeleteTina I adore the linens you are offering. Monogrammed pieces are so special.
xoxo

OMG this is truly torture! They are all so talented but....if I had to chose probably MCALPHINE FERRIER AND BOOTH. With John Jacob running a very close second. Really really hard decision. I am actually sitting at JFK waiting for a connecting flight so this was fun too! :) chris
ReplyDeleteso many choices! I think I would go with Charlotte Moss or the Elle team. How nice to have your home to yourself. Great job on the biz!!
ReplyDeleteAs difficult as the decision was, my heart lies with Mr. Jacob!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your home!
Janet
It is really a very hard choice from these great designers. But personally I vote for Meg Braff or Charles Faudre with Cathy Kincaid a close 3rd. This is my first visit to your store & your blog. It's awesome! I love the European kitchen selections in your store! Amazing! I will definately be back often! Can't wait to see all of your progress!
ReplyDeleteHi my friend,
ReplyDeleteHow is that packing a zillion boxes going?! (:
Thinking of you!
My choice is a MIX between 5 and 6 and 16. Why I never can settle for one choice is beyond me...
ox, Mon
Steven Gambrell...love that kitchen. The table, benches, the floor, the windows and doors, the lighting, a little open shelving.
ReplyDeleteI would love either the guest towels or the cocktail napkins...both are so lovely, just like everything in your shop!
annie
They are ALL FABULOUS....BUT.....I will have to choose by their personal photos! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Mary MacDonald's Glamorous and Alluring photo, and Thomas O'Brien's Clean and Classic Masculinity image! Great roundup of designers no doubt!
ReplyDeleteI have followed Charles Faudre for years and just love his look. I also drool over John Jacob's designs, I adore that picture of his black kitchen!
