Guest posting at Pink Pagoda!

Hi there, hope you had a restful and happy weekend. Ours was pretty relaxing I must say.....and yesterday I got to spend the day doing very little which was a mega treat. I actually made spaghetti carbonara, a decadent 'once in a while" treat and pistachio ice cream sandwiches which my family DEVOURS. So it was a good day...and when you have great food in the mix, that's kind of the perfect finishing touch! I also want to say how very much I enjoyed reading over all your answers yesterday......fascinating!! I made a short list of movies that I haven't seen that rank high on the list for you.....love those kinds of exercises! Thank you for participating.

  9. I enjoyed your guest post over at The Pink Pagoda. I love, among other things, how the orchids look in the blue and white pots. And, the fabrics are lovely. I'm anxious to see the fabrics at the windows, on the barstools and window seat, etc. By the way (and I have noticed and enjoyed it before), that view out your kitchen window of the curving driveway is so picturesque! And, it must be nice (and convenient) to see family, friends, delivery men, etc. as they approach your home while cooking and enjoying your kitchen.

  11. As you can imagine, the Pink Pagoda is right up my alley!!! Love all of her creations.

I feel like I'm finally getting back on track after a bumpy week. One son fell at school, ended up in the ER (yes, same one who had the accident this fall) and luckily after seeing the orthopedist...it's just a sprain. First weekend without relatives in a couple of weeks. Finally fell like I'm catching my breath.

And thank you for the great feedback on the house color. I love that so far 100% has said stay white. So, I'm gonna stick with what's working and play with the shutters and doors.

Hope you are feeling settled in and enjoying every minute in your new home!
    xoxo Elizabeth
