Hi all...another post I prepared in advance, thankfully I had the gumption to think ahead as my brain has turned to mush lately:) I think the most exhausting part of the move is over and I am pacing myself and taking it slow, thanks so much for all of your kind comments, emails and messages! Its great to be home!! (and yes to many of you who asked I do have help, thanks)!
Well hello there! By now you know the drill...I set up a little scenario and you get to ponder and think about which one room you would most love to be in and would suit you best. Remember how everyone moved out to the patio from "that party" to carry the party outdoors? Well, its in full swing and there is no end in sight! In fact all those inside have decided to join you. Its a beautiful night under a clear moonlit sky but its getting nippy so your darling hubby suggests lighting a fire in the outdoor fireplace and roasting marshmallows....what a guy!! So.....you know what to do, pick your outdoor fireplace seating room! This is not an easy feat as there are so many lovlies here, good luck. Can't wait to see what you choose. I have my eye on two, and will be happy as a smores to be in either one of them! Here we go....
WARNING- Proceed with caution and at your own risk. Viewing these has been known to induce SDTMS (Sudden desire to make smores)!!
CHOICE 1
CHOICE 2
CHOICE 3
CHOICE 4
CHOICE 5
CHOICE 6
CHOICE 7
CHOICE 8
CHOICE 9
CHOICE 10
CHOICE 11
CHOICE 12
Tough choice, don't you think? I can't wait to see who the big winner is though there is truly something fabulous about each and every one. I would be thrilled to be in any of them hanging out with friends and family until the wee hours of the morning! Now its your turn tell me which would you choose? Have a marvelous day!
Tina, this is so difficult. I went up and down 3 times! For me its going to be 3, I love the setting and then to be out in what looks like a vineyard just won me over. Hope the unpackings going great!
ReplyDeleteChoice 12 though choice 6 was a very close 2nd with the oceans backdrop. You sure dont' make this easy!
ReplyDeleteNo contest for me, choice 3. That is absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably one of the toughest!! Each of them I adored. But choice 11, the outdoor porch, I could picture myself under a cozy blanket, with snow.... so lovely!!
ReplyDelete1,2, and 3,are fabulous and would look great in your home, but numbers 5 or 11 would be my homes dreamspots! Sorry, to many wonderful choices. Love outdoor living!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina!
ReplyDeleteI just stopped by to catch up on your move and couldn't resist a bit of fun!
I was torn between 8 and 3. I kind of like the idea of a little bit of cover!
So glad your pacing yourself! Take care!
Donna
Hi Tina, It's No. 2. I can feel the breeze from the vineyards.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteLove the moroccan feel of no. 2 and the wonderful vista. No. 1 is a close second. Any choice is good really, as long as there are no mosquitoes, lol!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to make smores. For breakfast.
I love #3! I could fit so many of my friends around that big couch and we could all lounge and chat - while we eat yummy smores!!!
DeleteI am the most indecisive person in the universe. I'm just going to say #5 (to be different). I truly like them all though.
ReplyDelete1.3 and 6... can't choose... All so fabulous... xv
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 for me! A lake/ocean in the background AND a pool. Aaahhhhhh. Perfection.
ReplyDeleteBethA
Choice 10 reminds me of something I would have in the mountains, a real getaway. Just beautiful, but then again they are all quite gorgeous. So happy you are pacing yourself Tina!
ReplyDeleteNumber 1...hands down....love it!
ReplyDeleteChoice Number 2 for the same reasons as BethA.
ReplyDelete~Gillian
Number 1 for sure. It is covered in case of rain. There are sofas in case you want to lay down. Fireplace cozy. And the view is breathtaking! Thanks for sharing. You have a beautiful blog!
ReplyDeleteHi sweetie!
ReplyDeleteYou are really the best! Thank you for always stopping by even w/ everything going on.
Hard to pick one! I wish I could have all of them.... Can you imagine? Ok... maybe it would be too much! :-) The last one is just so grand! That's the one.
Have a great day, Tina!

I love Number 1 and my second choice is Number 2. I could be in heaven with any one of them. They are all so beautiful. Since I do not have a useable outdoor space (I live in a condo) and surrounded by air conditioning units (I have to have a water fall big as Niagara Falls to drown out the noise they make), I love to dream about having one of these outdoor spaces, even a much smaller one. Maybe you can find some photos of smaller outdoor areas for one of you blogs. Love, love, love, this blog today. Just perfect!! Ah, spring, where are you?
ReplyDeleteChoice #2 - out of this world! I have to say when I saw Choice #9 I shivered a little. It's so beautiful, but even if the fire is on the chairs are so far out there, wouldn't you get so cold???
ReplyDeleteWhen thinking of s'mores, I think of gathering around the open fire pit! However, with in these lovely choices, I will have to choose 7 for its rustic warmth.
ReplyDeleteI say this every time...its so hard to choose just one. I'm going with #11. But I really liked them all!
ReplyDeleteKaren
I think the set up of #3 is most appealing for comfortable seating for a family and I love the look of #7 the best! :O)
ReplyDeleteIt was easy for me. Number 1 for me. Why? Well you get 2 views, plus the fireplace. Enjoy you blog, love your home. Wishing you and family many years of happiness.
ReplyDeleteLove #6 for the views and the firepit, love #5 because it looks like it is in the south which is where I am from and love #9 because fall is one of my favorite seasons. As always, would actually love just about any of them. Glad you are back - missed you and look forward to more peeks at the house! God Bless, Cindy
ReplyDelete#5 is my first choice, because I have to see the stars at night while I roast my treat. I think I would rather have the pillars be stone or brick though, or just not round.
ReplyDelete~Bliss~
Mmmm! SMORE'S! Well this is a very hard decision! I love them all, but I think I love choice 5 the most! It is so colorful with all the flowers! I would love to be cozied up to the fireplace with the smell of roasting marshmallows! RELAXATION! Yes!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove so many of these spaces and wishing I could mix and match a few. You know how I love a water view, so I must go with 2 or 3...fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI loved choice 5~the moment I saw it I thought perfect! Always fun to fantasize a bit!!
ReplyDeleteThese are all just beautiful for a million different reasons. I love being outdoors and by a fire pit is one of my favorite things. I'm going to say #6...it almost looks like a sunset over Catalina shot that I posted yesterday. I have a much smaller version of that fire pit. I think it's a dye vat from India. Wine would certainly taste fabulous in any of these gorgeous settings. Can't wait to see more of your house!!

Well, Miss Tina, you've done it again! You've made my heart go "pitter-patter" and want to spend time in each of these gorgeous outdoor rooms. However, I was able to narrow it down to six that really won me over. Numbers 1,2,3,6,11, and 12 with # 1 and 2 with a slight edge! I will dream about smores in one of these beautiful places tonight! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here in Southern California, this morning, and they are, ALL, so inviting! I can see #11 right outside my family room right now...in my dreams! Fun post!
ReplyDeleteChoice #6! So funny you mentioned making smores...that has been my biggest craving lately, and I am missing an outdoor patio with a firepit like #6 pictured here! (the oceanview doesn't hurt either :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to go with #3 and #5 - so difficult to choose. Good friends, wine or smores would be perfect! Looking forward to more house pictures!
ReplyDeleteleslie
hands down #6, not pretentious, cozy and oh that view!
ReplyDeletehang in there tina......
debra
#12 Although it does not have an ocean view, the setting and pool are so beautiful! Hours of fun could be had there.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the move is progressing nicely and with some help!
ReplyDeleteMy choice? #1 - so cozy, warm, beautiful view... etc, etc, etc.
Anxiously Anticipating your Return.. :)
Number 5 really speaks to me. I could just plunk it right down in my own yard. Why thank you, I think I will.
ReplyDeletechoice 12 seems like home to me.
ReplyDeletesmacking you right now for making my mouth water at the thought of roasted marshmallows and chocolate. NEED!
michele
I'll take #5 please, warm and inviting. I love the pergola.
ReplyDeleteBest...Victoria
Something about choice 12, so my style, its very elegant and love that the pool is nearby. Would add some floating candles for effect!
ReplyDeleteCannot wait to see more pictures of the gorgeous house!
#5 would be my choice it was the columns that grab me but I would change the wicker furniture not my thing.
ReplyDelete#1 for me! I know you're incredibly busy, but WHERE do you find all these gorgeous picutres? Simply Pinterest & Google Image or is there some great source I'm not aware of??
ReplyDeleteThey are all so beautiful, but I think I will choose #6.
ReplyDeleteTina-
Glad to learn that you are over the worst and back to blogland. I know that you are so happy to be home.
Have a nice day and try to rest some.
Teresa

The best for me are 1 and 3. Thinking of you. This adventure you have been on is fantastic. Your home is absolutely amazing and of course gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteFor once this was easy for me! 2 all the way. With a vineyard as a backdrop, no contest!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so wonderful on a day where its below 20 over here! Tina, I showed my sister in law your blog a week ago and shes addicted, and we both confirmed you have the most beautiful house in the world. We have both gotten so much inspiration and great ideas from your blog. Truly spectacular in every way. Cant wait to see what kind of meals you prepare in that dream kitchen!
First choice- #3
ReplyDeleteSecond choice #1
Third choice #12
So restful & inviting - where' my glass of wine?
Loving the first 3 because of the water views but #2 would be the perfect blend of a space with so much character (the arches are beautiful), enough space for an intimate gathering or for a crowd and so much warmth. Thank you, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting here eating lunch at my desk wishing I could ditch work and my lunch to sit in any of those spaces! I love them all, but #3 is my fave. Anything white always gets my attention. I love the view, too. Oh, and I just has smores for the first time last year and I had been missing out! So good! Now I want one...
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 and 3 are my absolute favorites - and could a view of a vineyard be ANY more glorious?! My view right now is the Upper East Side and Central Park. Not bad, but certainly not this beautiful. What a "siiiiigh" inspiring post. Love!
ReplyDeleteTina, #2 for sure, although I like #11 and #10!! But what I really like is the hubby suggesting a fire and marshmellows!!:)
ReplyDeleteThe best choice for me is #1
ReplyDelete#5 it's that water thing again, love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love choice 11 the best. It looks cozy and like a space we would really use. The others are beautiful too.
ReplyDelete#1 is my first choice, #11 my second. I based it on the fact that they both ahve a roof and room for dining. I would love to have an outdoor dining space with a roof in case of rain! #9 could be in my backyard. The setting is exactly like ours!!!! Beautiful choices and I, too, would love to be in any one of them with good friends. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteThis was hard...but love choice 5 with the flowers overhead - beautiful!
ReplyDelete# 6 pleez. I'll have my smore's with an oceanview sunset - thank you very much :)
ReplyDeleteChoice #1 ! Best look for your new home!
ReplyDeleteNOW I get the s'mores comment. So funny!!! Just to be real.....I would be delighted to spend an evening (or longer) at any one of these jaw-dropping outside oasis. But, I'll go with #9!!!! Just gorgeous! (of course, I would have to request a perfect fall day, just like the one in the photo).
ReplyDeletePicturing you in your new home....putting things away. Zhushing things just so. Hope you're having fun!!!
xoxo Elizabeth
Choice 2 is the most versatile..any of the feature points of the other settings could be added to this setting easily.... Love your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteGive me 1 or 11 and I won't say a word....how wonderful these spaces are. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh dear one, I so know the feeling of MUSH MIND....I am there. I am so down because I am so busy and I can't gather my thoughts to write a decent post. Just coming by to day hi. Anita
ReplyDeleteIn order of preference, #2, 5, 1, and 12. You know, this was really hard! All are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCHOICE 3 IS AMAZING, ROCKS MY WORLD. I LOOOOOOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteSO MANY BEAUTIFUL SPACES. I WOULDN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT ANY OF THEM:-) BUT GIVEN A CHOICE 3 WOULD BE MY FAVORITE.
#5 and #12, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCan't decide between # 1, 5 or 9!!
ReplyDeleteI think the perfect one is Choice # 11, Elegant but Simply Comfortable and rustic in a fabulous way.
ReplyDeleteThis one was easy for me (thank you for that!), it's Number 6 hands down, the water, the light, ooh-la-la! If absolutely forced, somehow I could find a way to make do with #5.
ReplyDeleteSending you a smile Tina!
tp
#5. But they are all incredible! I would be happy and content with anyone of them.
ReplyDeleteNumber 5. It reminds me of the Pacific NorthWest.
ReplyDeleteChoice 1 for the gorgeous views. It looks like Newport or Laguna in Southern California! I also LOVE the cozy feel of Choice 11 and the elegant feel of Choice 12. They are all so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love no. 1
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and inspiration....
Zaneta
l love #11. Actually they're all perfect !
ReplyDelete"getting nippy so your darling hubby suggests lighting a fire in the outdoor fireplace and roasting marshmallows....what a guy!!"
ReplyDeleteFIRST off... IF I had "darling hubby" (which I will one day:)!
I'm going off grid for me #4.
The guests will be leaving from the front door aka bye bye, scoot! THEN~ darling Hubby & I will dance. Me stumbling in a long sweeping evening gown(horrible dancer) & he will be in cufflinks, to catch me.Then magically a hammock bed thingy(pillow filled & oh so cozy comfy), will descend from ceiling(elf magic, of course). We will talk about EVERYTHING & kiss. Then eat banana splits & sleep OUTSIDE, in front of fire. #4 is the most intimate to my eyes. THE END, almost.......when our friends return NEXT day, move to #6. Breakfast! Bellinis, cinnamon crepes, fresh fruit & SOUL music:)
no 6 looks so au natural.
ReplyDeletepve
I love 2 and 5!! Thanks for the virtual vacation. I'd love to relax for a little while in any of those places!!
ReplyDeletexo
Sharon
I love 6, although I wonder how much that has to do with the beautiful view beyond!!
ReplyDeleteI smiled when I saw this post because I have been, just this evening, coaxing my husband into drawing plans for a small outdoor fireplace for our backyard. Wish me luck!!
I hope you're finished settling in real soon.
Best!
Keri
#2 for sure!
ReplyDeleteHeck, too many lovely ones to choose from so I'm sitting on the fence with 1, 2, 3 and 6. Heaven.
ReplyDeleteChoice 7 for me, it just looks so incredibly relaxing, like I could sit and not move for hours, but they are all quite spectacular! Can't wait to see more pictures of your beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteI will take choice 12, it is perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI WOULD TAKE 11 IT IS SOOO COZY, AND 3, I JUST LOVE ALL THAT BLACK AND WHITE JUST TURNS ME ON.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I would have to choose 5 and 6. All of them are wonderful. We have had beautiful weather here and it feels like summer. I can see my self sitting on the patios enjoying a cup of tea! Oh heck, or a glass of wine!
DeleteBother tough one Tina! I think number four, mostly because it is shown at night and. I am definitely a night person, so it was very appealing to me. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteStacy
"Another", not bother.....sorry
ReplyDeleteNumber 11...absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOk, I have it, 3! No 5! No no 7! No, 9! I guess I like the odd numbers today! I would stretch out on those white wrap around cushions and take a nap in number 3, put a fire in the fireplace with all of those fall leaves around me in number 9 and have a summer evening next to the water in number 5! And the house in number 7 looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think #1 for the View and #11 for the furniture but I am really not sure as I would take ANY of them. Love an outdoor fireplace. Hope you are settling in and it makes me smile to feel your dream coming true.
ReplyDeleteI would pick choice 10. I love to watch the rain outside. Just something about the sounds and the smells. This would give you protection from the rain, but still be able to enjoy being outside.
ReplyDeleteI do love 6 for the views and the firepit/bowl, but no it has to be 11 for me please.
ReplyDeleteYou were one smart girl to prepare these posts in advance. I'm going with #6 or #10. Either the ocean or the mountains in the background with a fire. You can't beat that. Can't wait to see your progress. XO, Mona
ReplyDeleteAll these are so beautiful. But I choice #5 & #6 are so nice that we can feel warm out side from room. And also #12 is more attractive too.
ReplyDeletefor your beautiful home 5 or 12...great choices here
ReplyDeleteOrganising an outdoor party starts with picking a suitable venue. This article is marvellous when you are searching for ideas for the site of your own event.
ReplyDeleteCould you please provide sources for the
ReplyDeleteoutdoor furniture? I love them all!
Tots choice 6.
