The way it is situated is truly majestic
The rooms have spectacular views
At sunset, it is quite breathtaking
SHANGRI LA, VILLINGLI RESORT IN THE MALDIVES. This place is truly like a heaven on earth. Some of these pictures seem too good to be real!! Why does it have to be so far? This place has my name all over it. The architecture which appears to have risen out of the ocean is just out of this world. The scary thing is IF I did get to go....I seriously might not ever want to go back to reality!! This is incredible!
Seriously?
It would be hard to leave my room!
I will have my breakfast, lunch and dinner right here, thank you very much!
Love the chaises IN the pool!
Breathtaking is an understatement
FOUR SEASONS RESORT AND SPA IN PROVENCE AT TERRE BLANCHE. What is not to love about gorgeous, inspirational and laid back countryside of Provence? Not only is this part of France breathtaking in all its natural splendor, it boasts having a Four Seasons with a renowned spa. What a combination! This is a place I have definitely put on my bucket list and I wish I had known about it last year when we were lucky enough to visit gorgeous Provence......I feel calmer just looking at the pictures, don't you?
Magical!
I would love to have my morning coffee here and look at that view!
Part of the spa complex
This is magic, I can almost smell the lavender
TUCKERS POINT, BERMUDA. Here is a place that is doable in that its relatively close! Tuckers Point, Bermuda's newest resort and spa is out of this world!! We were there when it was under construction and are trying to go this summer, fingers crossed. It combines beautiful old world decor with pampering luxury all with the gorgeous ocean as a backdrop. It is Bermuda's newest hotel/resort/spa and boasts a large community of luxurious private homes as well. This is one spa getaway I am craving right now!
Breaktaking and set on over 200 acres
Entrance to the spa with the ocean as a backdrop....ahh what could be more perfect!
Gorgeous spa waiting room
The elegant restaurant with its formal Bermudian flair
Inside the spa
So are your bags packed? I would love to be boarding a plane right now to head over to any one of these glorious spots! Do you enjoy going to spas? Do you have a favorite? Wishing you a wonderful start to the week.
Oh my! What I would give to spend some time at ANY of these places.
ReplyDelete(But sign me up first for the Maldives trip. Good gracious that looks spectacular!)
Thanks for the treat...
ReplyDeleteseeing all those wonderful places makes me feel like I could go there and have some rest and relaxation too.
But really, If I could just go to a spa nearby, not necessarily as gorgeous as those, even for a day and have some massage I would be happy. Everybody needs time to rejuvenate!
I'll take Shangri La in Maldives, please! I don't even need the massage... that room and pool and canopy on the beach are all I need. See... I'm not high maintenance at all :)
ReplyDeleteTina, did you know my daughter is a spa developer?
ReplyDeleteBut, I hardly go to any of her projects where I could have services gratis. Anyway, love Laguna Niguel & Dana Point + the R/C. Would love to go to the Maldives just to see that beautiful water. I, too, could just stay right there and be perfectly content. xx's
Shangri La, please.... I'm not sure when I will want to leave!! How can something so extravagant look so simple and calming?
ReplyDeleteWe're with you a long restful spa visit would be lovely. The Shangri La looks like it's truly a place to get away from everything and relax. The Four Seasons in Provence would be fabulous but we would want to explore Provence and would not relax.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing?
I'm also craving and in need of a vacation, but o don't have plans for this summer since we're getting everything ready for our baby.
I love this post. I love all of your posts about hotels, spas... so amazing!
Have a blessed week!

Shangri-La please. Gorgeous. Those pools and scenery are fabulous. I've always wanted to soak in the egg shaped tub.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong I love my internship but these pictures made me want to jump out of my chair and catch a flight!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide between the Ritz, The Four Seasons or the place in Bermuda! Too may choices! But so wonderful...thanks!

HI BLOGGERS today is the LAST DAY to stop by and ENTER~Light as a Feather necklace GIVEAWAY~ it’s an almost $50 value!
Hello Tina:
ReplyDeleteThe places which you show today do indeed look too good to be true. We are sure that one would be walking on air for weeks after a stay at any one of them.
Less exotic, perhaps, but amazingly therapeutic are the thermal baths throughout Budapest. Baroque to Art Nouveau, take your choice and relax in splendour whilst receiving professional beauty treatments. And, a Four Seasons Hotel to complete your stay!
Dearest Tina,
ReplyDeleteWith the amount of work that you are doing to your home and the stress, you most definitely deserve a good WEEK of total pampering!!! I feel the same way, after a very stressful school year of having 50 students. Quiet, naps, reading, creating and casual entertaining is all I can do at this time, but anytime or anywhere there is BLUE such as water or sky is fine with me. Visiting you today was a treat seeing all those gorgeous ocean-side places. Growing up in Los Angeles, I know Laguna Niguel very well...ahhhhh!
Anita
Oh goly me too...these are all gorgeous!! There's a trip here called the spa train where you get on and and get dropped off along the trip at the spas of your choosing. A driver takes you to and from the train to each- totally my idea of a heaven and the best kind of trip!!
ReplyDeleteAll women deserve a time of pampering! I'm not going to be too choosy! I'll go to any one of them! Lovely lovely lovely! Dream dream dream! Soon soon soon!
ReplyDeleteOh count me in on loving any of these. I'm exhausted from being gone for a week, and three days at a spa would be heavenly. Its strange how a vacation can be exhausting and needing to relax. There were great day spas at my vacation spot, but vacations are so busy. Honestly need to plan just a relaxing vacation.........or spa get-a-way.

Any of the above would be a luxury trip for me. If I had to choose one it would have to be Maldives. The blue water drew me in. What a view!!! What a nice way to start the week, happy Monday,Kathysue
ReplyDeleteAll of these are perfect. The second is especially perfect for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you have a great week.

Calgon... take me away! Those images of the Maldives are truly ba-na-nas and have me dreaming of a couple of days away, too. Totally agree that a day spa just doesn't cut it but I do look forward to my monthly facial and massage!
ReplyDeletexxoo
This all looks wonderful. Take me anywhere with sun and water right now and I will be a very happy camper. Throw in a massage and some nice dinners and I'm in heaven. Mona
ReplyDeleteThese are all right up my alley! I love a good spa vacation. I will be spending some time in the Four Seasons Spa in Maui in a few weeks. I think a massage in a hut on the beach sounds pretty good to me right now and is definitely on the list!
ReplyDeleteYou do know that once the house is done you will need a spa getaway, yes? I realize that sounds counter-intuitive, but seriously, I bet you are more-than-ready once everything is done and you have moved in.
ReplyDeleteHaving spent a little time in Laguna Niguel I was prepared to wax poetic about the stunning location you selected, as it is simply gorgeous. Stunning. But then I saw the Maldives spot - swoon. That really does look like my vision of how Shangri-La wold be, just like in the movie.
Thank you for making the evening much more fun!

Any one of these would suit me just fine! :)
ReplyDeleteCan I tag along if you go, lol! There is nothing quite as relaxing as having a massage on the beach with the waves as your music. My husband and I had that fabulous experience on vacation a few years ago, I want to go back!
ReplyDeleteOnly been to the RC-LN as my husband's firm has conferences there from time to time and I tag along---or did pre kids. We don't usually do specific spa vacations but they always incorporate spa treatments. A personal favorite of mine is Calistoga Ranch in Calistoga. The massages were so good there that my husband fell asleep and started snoring....absolutely the last time we got a couples massage! Thanks for the dream since we just got back from a week at Disney and I now seriously need a vacation! (PS...I use the same version of Safari as you and when I cleared my cache today some of my problems disappeared as my web guy has been tweeking today. I am still at a loss!)
ReplyDeleteaaah that's exactly how I feel so thank you for that! I was actually looking into Bermuda and had no idea where to go so I really appreciate the tip! I live in NJ so my easiest and quickest escape it to go to the Borgata spa in Atlantic City. It's so relaxing and cozy and one the best spas!

Please book me into the Maldives - I'm packing my bags right now!
ReplyDeleteMaldives!!! Holy moly!! I mean what a gorgeous section of the Earth! God is good! I'm linking this back to you!
ReplyDeleteAhhh I'm finally getting a chance to visit and you picked the perfect post for me today. I haven't had a chance to sit down! Now I'm seriously hoping to dream about the Maldives, mainly because it looks like nowhere I've ever been before! They all look pretty fabulous though! I love spas and would love to take a vacation completely dedicated to spa days. I worked out a deal with my husband that where ever we go, if he plays golf, I get to go to the spa ;) Off the top of my head, I've been to the spas at The Cloister in Sea Island (the new & improved spa is amazing), the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island and La Quinta in Palm Springs. All are pretty wonderful! Great post!!
ReplyDeleteI've never done more than a few hours at a spa but now am itching to go for a few days! Shall we plan a trip together? Ha!
ReplyDeleteOh and please stop by tomorrow for a giveaway and sale!
ReplyDeleteI love going to spas. My favorite is the spa at the Bacara in Santa Barbara, California.
ReplyDeleteOMG I can't tell you how much I'd love to visit any of these places right now! I just moved my friend last week and although we had fun, I'm exhausted and need a vaca!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the virtual vacation!
Oh tough choice - I'd take any as long as there is some shade. I have trouble sitting still for too long so I think Provence might be nice in case I need to get out and explore!
ReplyDeleteWow, those look amazing! I want to go the Maldives right now! Looks like pure heaven! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love spas and you hit on some great ones! I was in a wedding at that Ritz - the setting is absolutely stunning! I have always wanted to go to the Maldives - hoping to get there before it has been totally covered by water. :( And I love that pedicure seating in the last picture -how fun with girlfriends!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been to the Shangri-La in the Maldives - it's a long way as you have to get another plane from Male (it's a small one too that stops at Islands on the way to drop off and pick up the locals)and you cross the equator. You then get picked up by the staff and get a minibus and boat to the resort. I think it was 23 hours door to door for us....!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful but having stayed there and a number of other places in the Maldives (when times were a lot better than currently) our favourite place is The One & Only Reethi Rah - just sublime!
