The KITCHEN LOVE showdown is on and a special opportunity!

As you can see my blog still looks sad and barren like a lost "no man's land" but rest assured the wheels are turning behind the scenes, and hopefully before long I will have a wonderful new blog to share with you (fingers crossed)!! Thankfully in the meantime I am able to publish my posts and move forward while the changes are "in the works" so have a bit more patience and I promise it will be pretty again:) Moving along.....

Hello! It's another snow storm over here! It is snowing like crazy........crazy that this has become a new norm. Spring cannot come fast enough. So you have cast your almost 3000 votes...unbelievable! And we now have two finalists (one from each round).

It is your turn to cast your vote for the winner. The winner will get this beautiful Spanish olive tray which will surely look spectacular in either of these gorgeous spaces. I will crown the new winner tomorrow morning, meet your finalists......

  8. Gorgeous kitchens Tina!! Goodness :{ that snow isn't easing up is it?? I'd be feeling a little cabin fever .. and to think that some parts of the country have had very little precipitation and will be in drought conditions this summer. Crazy!

The finalists are both amazing and it's tough to vote!

  9. Such beautiful finalists, hard to choose, as they are each so different. I had so much fun going through all the entries, I even sent both posts to my architect, as we are in the stage of planning my new kitchen and I saw several that really inspired some ideas!

  10. Hi Tina we are getting slammed with snow too. Thankfully we have a generator, otherwise our entire neighborhood has been out since this morning. Nutty winter.
Love the choices, my fave did not win but was in the honorable mention. The bags are beautiful, love the blue and orange. Hope the sun is shining for you soon!

  12. Love that medium sized satchel! So perfect for carrying all my daily essentials without swallowing me up whole! The bits of blues are really what I'm craving for spring...from the kitch to the cute little ginger jars...such a lovely pop of bold color. Great inspiration!

  13. So pretty and there were lots of beauties…We are sitting with 8-12 inches and counting in NC and of course we NEVER get this kind of snow…we are warm, plenty of food and power, but oh, I'm getting cabin fever…

  14. gorgeous gorgeous entries! i don't mind the snow so much but it's the loud awful howling winds that are getting me down at the moment. every time this happens, i ask my husband if our house was truly built to withstand such elements cuz it seems like we will be huff and puffed down. btw, i think this dare-to-be-spare look you've got going on the blog is rather fetch. then again, i have problems.

    smiles to you.

  20. Just voted. I loved this feature. I got your email with some of your recents posts and read them all on the airplane from SF to San Diego...so I couldn't comment. But was really touched my your "empty nest" post as with my youngest a junior in college...I still feel like we are adjusting. But even though he is on the east coast we talk at least three times a week (not the same as a bear hug) but nice. As moms, we are successful letting our chicks soar. Bravo, changing your blog platform...I am afraid of the turmoil to do it to mine.
