Architect Spotlight: J. Wilson Fuqua and Associates

Every now and then I stumble across a designer or architect who just speaks to me and the work of the architectural/design firm of J Wilson Fuqua and Associates  spoke to me loud and clear! I was practically drooling over my keyboard as I looked further into their impressive body of work. It absolutely warranted a post and sharing with my readers.  There will be many pictures here where you will say "I can see why she loves it". Very much my taste. Classical, traditional, timeless and ever so elegant.

The beautiful work of Dallas based  J. Wilson Fuqua and Associates is headed by architect Wilson Fuqua who works with six associates,  who clearly have perfected the art of classical architecture, specializing in both new construction as well as tasteful renovations. The interiors are beautifully married to their uber elegant exteriors and I promise my dear readers, you are in for a royal treat. So enough of my jabbering, time to share the beauty. Get those pinning fingers ready, they are going to have the workout of a lifetime today:) Let's get busy....

  16. We are using Wilson on our newly purchased "80's vintage Georgian" and have been so impressed by him! We are nearing finished elevations/plans and can't wait to see them become reality. My husband and I have worked with 3 of Dallas' "top" architects over the past 13 years and must say Wilson Fuqua is in a league of his own. He and Alex (in his office) are easy to communicate with and have a true sense of restraint, sense of history, and practicality. We recently canceled plans to build by another architect and hired Wilson due to his ability to transform rather than always "start from scratch". So excited and thanks for this post as it keeps motivated. Love your site!

  20. Good morning Tina! WOW, I am out of breath from all the gasping going on here! Lovely and majestic my dear, and my favorite room is that all white/cream bathroom. WOW, talk about a breath-stopper! The homes are outrageously beautiful, and thank you for the tour. You should see the fabulous mansions being built just around the corner from the school I teach at. FABULOUS - and right on a lake. Ahhhh....off to school now. Anita
