Hi everyone. Today is a short post, just wanted to pop in and say hi. My little get together last night was wonderful and turned out beautifully with a little help from mother nature! I could not have custom
ordered more picture perfect weather, seriously it was incredible! I had
a photographer here and will share some of those pictures when I get
them but here's a little sneak peek of what I took with my iPhone.....
Just put these here, LOVE these Provence planters and LOVE the color, ideally they would be a big bigger but I love them so am determined to keep them somewhere. The orbs were just stuck in there but once planted they will be raised and might make it look more size appropriate.....
Food just starting to arrive....
This is where my picture taking stopped, got too busy!
And after the last person had gone..I ran outside at dusk to take a few quick photos..the lighting was beautiful (sorry for the grainy quality...blame it on Apple, lol) I think everything looks more beautiful at dusk..don't you?
The morning after.....the last left bottles of wine ready to be put away
So there you go. Today I am taking it easy, going to have a lazy day and cannot wait. Hope whatever you are up to is wonderful and relaxing. Enjoy your Sunday!
Everything looks lovely!! Truly beautiful. I think I'd like you to take a trip to RI so we can discuss decorating ideas for my darling little home!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! I am speechless, just incredibly beautiful. Your home definitely reminds me of a bygone era, hard to believe it is new. You did a spectacular job Tina. I bet the party was so wonderful. Carnot wait to see more pictures, this is such a tease.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh.....thank you.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks perfect, you are having good enough weather (not us!) and all is peaceful chez toi.
Much love dear Tina! Anita
Everything is beautiful, especially that watermelon bowl, I'm dying over this 'cause I'm hungry for it!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love those planters too!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the photos taken at dusk. The lights on the inside of the house made a "warm and inviting" glow of peace.
ReplyDeleteThank you for allowing those of us who don't live in a castle :) to partake in your life and feel like a guest through your blog.

Tina, I am sitting here just grinning thinking how beautiful your home is and how happy you are living there. You have made so many wonderful selections to make your home warm and inviting. Loved the picts at dusk, amazing!!! I was just thinking I should have put up a picture of your beautifully appointed powder room in my post on small bathrooms that look Grande today, it would fit in perfectly. Have a wonderful relaxed Sunday and thank you for a little walk with you in your lovely home,

Oh..my..It seems the word Beautiful doesn't do your home justice. It looks like a wonderful wonder land, too good to be true. I love everything you have done here, inside and out. I guess I will say..BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us..I always wait each day, to see what you post next..Bonnie Schulte in WI
ReplyDeleteEverything was beautiful. Absolutely LOVE that outdoor room of yours! I would spend so much time there, although there are so many lovely spots in your home, it would be hard to choose! Did you have a fire in the outdoor fireplace during your party?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always, Tina! I have been wanting some Provence planers for the longest time. I simply love the shade of yours! Such a nice touch with the boxwoods. The 'at dusk' photos are so pretty. Sounds like a wonderful evening!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so beautiful all lit up from the inside - really an enchanted home! Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Have a great week. x Sharon
ReplyDeleteno apologies need, it all looks lovely. I think the square planters with the boxwoods are great, love them. So happy mother nature brought you the beautiful weather... Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a lovely home. It is truly a delight.
ReplyDeleteYou truly have a "dream home". Just Lovely! Love the arrangement with lily, roses, orchids...with just a hint of color. I will be doing the arrangements at our Clubhouse in our community for Mother's Day..mind if I borrow your idea?
ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures! Glad to hear your party was so much fun! Love your Provence planters! Think your picture has convinced me I need some! Loved the watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew melon "bowls". I've done similar presentations but plan to "borrow" the pineapple top foliage idea. Perfect way to add color AND texture! Your floral arrangement on your hall console is one of the prettiest I've seen! Happy that the weather cooperated. It's still cold here on the Cape!
ReplyDeleteBreathtakingly beautiful- This is one of those homes I would ask my husband to drive around several times so I might get a glimpse inside.(lol) Your arrangements were beautiful -can't wait for more. Cylinder boxwoods might look good too and give you some height.
ReplyDeleteTina just when I think your home cannot get any prettier, you surprise me and show something to me that tops even last time1 This one will go down in the history books. So beautiful and elegant, and what I love is that it doesn't scream "new construction" but rather "stately manor home/french chateau" that you aren't sure if its old or new. You have done a truly remarkable job on this house. Love all the flowers and that outside porch is pure heaven. Thank you giving us an tour!
ReplyDeletePS The flowers in the blue and white are so beautiful. You gave me a great idea for the engagement party we are planning for our son in August.
ReplyDeleteOh dearest heart,
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for YOUR warm wishes! LIVE is so good. Love to you and enjoy the new week! (I cannot wait to see your lush greenery in spring!) Anita
Tina-
ReplyDeleteAs always, everything is beautiful! I love the outdoor area. You have done an outstanding job on everything, and the food and arrangements look perfect.

ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the after glow of the party. That is always a special feeling...when you know it all went as you had envisioned!
xoxo Elizabeth
Oh- How beautiful everything looked, Tina. Just gorgeous. Don't you love it when everything comes together wonderfully...food...friends....weather. I can't wait to see pictures! Blessings and enjoy your "down day". xo Diana
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so beautiful! You have such a grand house yet you can tell it's warm and inviting - not stuffy.
ReplyDeleteTina your home is very special... I have noticed the incredible detail and graceful traditional features. Well done... I have just begun building a new home but on a MUCH smaller scale. Still... there are the same problems, the same scary decisions aren't there?! The planters are fabulous... and just happen to be in my favourite colour! I am a newcomer to your blog and look forward to catching up! Jenny xx
ReplyDeleteTina, Your home looks gorgeous - as do the flowers...and the food looks delish! It sounds like you have had a lovely weekend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI probably say this everytime I chime in, and I hope you know what a compliment I mean it as...but your house looks like it could have stood there for the past 100 years! If I hadn't watched it being built I wouldn't believe it!
ReplyDeleteMust have been a beatiful fete! Love your outdoor space--so classic and glamorous-
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your weekend! xo Barbara

Hi Tina!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy Mother Nature was so helpful with your get together because if she hadn't, we wouldn't be looking at some very enchanting pictures.
The pictures at dusk are absolutely romantic with the lights and the building looking very soft by way of the natural light. I really enjoyed visiting your lovely home!!
Thank you!!
Pam
Tina,
ReplyDeleteThese pictures look like they are right out of a book that I hope you will write. I would purchase it unseen. Very entertaining. I love your talents and style.
