Calling all blue and white lovers!!

Good morning! Hope your week is off to a good start. Over here, I have a list a mile long of things to get busy cracking on (mostly house related) so no rest for the weary...it's already another busy week. When I start my morning with a healthy dose of blue and white, I just know its going to be a great day. Every now and then I have to post on blue and white, to give me my regular "fix" of this scrumptious combination. It just never gets old........what can I say!!

I am also super excited to have added some truly exquisite new pieces (below) so this was a perfect post to tie it all in. Hopefully some of these images are new to you, while some I realize you have seen.......they are just too pretty to not include. The truly wonderful things about blue and white is that literally it goes with every single color. I dare you to find a color that it doesn't work with. Impossible!! How about you, has blue and white-itis  struck you too? Happily there is no cure in sight. So lets take a look at blue and white at its very best.........

Just some of my very favorite blue and white goodies!!

This kind of left me speechless...had to include it but how to describe this? A shrine to blue and white? An overdose of blue and white? A room you don't want to be in during an earthquake? Yes to all the above!

I must share with you the newest members of my blue and white family! I just added them to my online shop and I have to say these are some of my most favorite pieces! Absolutely stunning. What I love about them is that they have a lot of white in them so they are a beautiful contrast when using them as part of a grouping.....take a look!

  2. Tina ... blue and white always a perfect union! I am so thrilled to see a picture of Judy from Verandah House Interiors in the post!! I recently did a post on her home being featured in Home Beautiful Australia and it was gorgeous. Actually, I met Judy recently in Brisbane and had lunch with her and she is an absolute delight!

  4. So beautiful. I have really developed a big crush on it thanks to you. I love all the new pieces especially that diamond jar and have to say the pictures of your blue and whites are my favorite in the entire post. Thanks for this little touch of beauty to start my day, now you have me thinking of where else I can add some blue and white.

  7. Oh that Amy Howard design with the simple Swedish settee.....MINE! MINE! Blue and white my dear, oh the passion. I am dreaming of some BLUE since we again got more white stuff last night, piling high in my garden. But by Sunday we should have some 70 degree weather.

OK, this is magnificent. All your blues, white and comfortable corners are making my birthday celebration one of dreaming of my own home décor, as I am home today to play around my house! A dear blogger friend who is a wonderful painter sent me a small and perfect ocean scape in OIL that she painted. The blues Tina are so soothing.

Have a special day today, puttering around the house. Anita

  8. Tina...you are killing me with all this gorgeousness so early in the morning! I love blue and white but haven't incorporated into this home as much as I would like to - my decorating has more greens than blues in it. I do have a few pieces and this post inspired me to pull them out and make them work!

Quick question - I was thinking of ordering some cherry blossoms - how many would I need to do an arrangement like the one you have pictured?

Have a lovely day! I am off the the gym...arrrrgggggh! xoxo

  14. Tina, I'm partial to
the pairing of blue & white
    with earth tones, perhaps
    because, as Anita mentioned,
we have fresh snow on the
    ground and I'm wishing
    for warmth : ) I wonder when
    Panetone will choose blue
as its color of the year? I'd
love to see it center stage,
    where it belongs!

    Lovely additions to your
    lovely shoppe.....

    Happy Tuesday,
    xo Suzanne

  17. The new pieces are just beautiful. Those last two I am really in love with and may need to make room for.

All these pictures are to die for, and have me rethinking a few of my own rooms. Thanks Tina for another wonderful post.

  18. I just came for a visit from The French Tangerine as she featured your home today in her post. I love Jans post as they are always so boldly colorful and cheery. She suggested we drop by your blog and I am so very pleased that I did.
What a delight to find a complete 'blue and white' post of so many dreamy homes, porches, etc. I, like you, loved the table on the porch with the blue and white stripes. Enjoyed each and every picture.
Blue has been the largest part of every home I have lived in. I love paring it with yellow or pink and always with white. My first good china set was Wedgewood and it was blue and white and much later I purchased a blue and white set of everyday dishes with all American scenes.
My brothers-in-laws (3) used to tease me that I had so much blue that soon my husband would be blue as well. *smile*
I am now off for a visit to see your new pices of blue and white you have just brought in. Also my daughter lives on Cape Cod and on one of my visits we went to Conneticut. My upbringing was in Virginia and a short time in N.C. My parents were from respectively South and NOrth Carolina so our family are truly Souotheners.
I do not have a blog but enjoy you dear ladies that share with us the beauty of family and home.

I am slowly building my collection and have to agree there is no color it doesn't look great with. Thanks to you, I have learned so much. Your pictures of your blue and whites are just so pretty.

Your blog redesign is beautiful. Love how it reflects your style so perfectly.

  39. A few comments.

Who is Scott Snyder? Is he new? He really caught my attention!

Love your porcelains! Absolulte and utter love!

Those beautiful vases in the design by Amy Howard look like they are ready to fall off those sconces. Either have custom ones made or use the vases on a wall that doesn't make the viewer hold his or her breath.

    Nice roundup of blues.
