It's that time of the week again. This time.......we are talking spring bags, baby! One of my most favorite subjects.....lets just say the handbag fairy has paid you a visit. She has granted you one bag of your choosing, price no object so think big!
Now the only prerequisite is to assume you already own the perfect black bag and the perfect white bag....so time to switch it up. Do you opt for a fun color, embrace a new trend or stick to a more neutral go with everything bag? Which would be your taste and which would you love toting around in the spring/summer season? I love to hear what all you taste makers love...and as I always do I will start with the very first comment (after some serious pondering)! Here we go......

Oh boy...so many pretties!! I actually have my eye on a few for this exercise in restraint:) Not an easy choice. I do love my earth tones, and my wardrobe largely consists of things in the tans, creams, blacks and charcoals but come spring and summer, I love to add color....such a great time to embrace fun uplifting colors and prints so the idea of adding a little pop is kind of fun! Hi as I always do...starting this off with my own picks. Just impossible to say one...sorry!! I love so many but would have to narrow it down to 1, 3, 5 and 16. I bought nearly the identical bag to 10 in a taupe/gray which I love and its now my everyday tote...so I would opt for something fun and one with a hint of little color. Your turn!!

ReplyDeleteI would have to say I love #3, 12 and 16 the best. If there's pink in a line-up I always pick it.
Earth tones are nice, but, I always gravitate towards bright colors to make me feel happy and
alive.
The give away comes at the right time, because my skin is changing so drastically with going through
menopause and being diabetic, my skin doesn't know what to do. So, this kit could help in hiding uneven skin tones, dark circles under the eyes. Could you please add my name to the list of 'Want to be a winner?' Thank you!!

There are 4 that I narrowed down...
The Alaia I love because the perforated design is so chic...and if you want to add color to it, tie a scarf on it.
The Gucci is a classic and timeless choice...plus you can wear it all year long!
Nancy Gonzalez' bag is great because the color is beautiful!...can also be used all year long. (maybe the texture is a little heavy for spring?)
The Anya Hindmarch is just gorgeous! It's elegant...the colors are very YOU! Same idea as the Alai...you could tie on a colorful scarf!
I'm feeling the Versace also, but I think it would get easily soiled since it looks like fabric.
So out of all of these... my two absolute favorites are the Alaia and the Anya Hindmarch...and I'm leaning toward the Anya Hindmarch. Those are your colors. Ok, maybe I confused you...even myself! lol
Hi Tina, I will take 1 and 5. love the pink..and the shapes are practical for every day. Though they are all gorgeous and I do love 16 for a vacation tote. It reminds me of going to the South of France. Love your taste not only for the home but fashion too.
