Hello...its Wednesday already? Boy...time is going by fast this week. Today's
Which would you choose is a fashion edition. I love to throw in a bit of
fashion, food and entertainment every now and then. So...here's the
deal, you have been offered one coat of your choosing. Any of the gorgeous coats below......so all you need to do is pick your fave! You can assume you have your everyday "throw on/go to" jacket at home...time for something new!
I
have my eye on a few but if it meant really getting to keep one, I could make a
fast decision. What goes into choosing a winter coat for you? I
normally buy one or two every season....fashion first, comfort and fit,
and of course the quality has to be there. Typically I keep my coats/clothes for a loooooong time. Even when they are size 4, and one part of my brain is so knowing there is no way I will ever wear it again yet the other side is telling me its good for my ego to open my closet and see it there, so there it remains, with the tag in full view of course :) So here we go....

I am really loving the way Burberry looks lately, and Moncler is also making some great coats. I have a really cute jacket from them a few years ago and it's super warm. But that stunner of a coat by Giambattista is sensational with that pop of color but then there is Max Mara who is kind of a go to for a classic beautiful coat....decisions, decisions! OK....your turn to dish. Do tell.....which coat wins? Wishing everyone a fabulous day........and do stay warm:)
Spoil yourself, go ahead and buy 13! My sales person at Saks tempted me with a beautiful black Prada...it was so hard to say no (she was quite disappointed too..) but I promised I would npt get another coat...However, i am off to France next week for the shows and the Bon Marche will have amazing sales...and I love anything Brunelli Cuccenelli...for now I am boring and commuting to the city, i live in my Postcard coat with fur collar. Not to mention that I lost half my coats this fall as the moths had an absolute feast on my wool coats..
ReplyDeleteTina you always make this hard! 13 and 16 for everyday and definitely 6 for nights out. Love that coat and waiting for it to go on sale! Have a great day, love when you add fashion to the mix.
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to do think of a coat. It really think clothes are so personal and with one selection, you can tell a ton about a person!! Hands down for me - option 4. Very fun post, Tina! M.
ReplyDeleteI'm needing a new dress coat and I think #5 will fit the bill perfectly! Happy Wednesday ~
ReplyDelete1. Choice 4; 2. Choice 14; and then there is #5 just for it's fabulous! You are 1 lucky lady to have such choices!
ReplyDeleteI love either 5 or 15. Happy shopping!
ReplyDeleteI think number 1 or 8.
ReplyDeleteCynthia
This time the choice was easy, which is usually not the case....Hands down, Number 12...elegant and a showstopper
ReplyDeletechoice nr. 4 Brunello Cucinelli! superlative chachemire!
ReplyDeleteeasy 15
ReplyDeleteAfter scrolling and deciding immediately what I chose, I had to change to 13! Oh it is difficult when you have to decide on practical vs. fashion! HI TINA! Anita
ReplyDeleteHands down choice #3! I love it and it can be fun or serious…I'm not a huge coat person and hardly wear one so this one didn't look too heavy and it was cute on top of that! Fun post, Tina! Thanks for your sofa advice! I've already been looking at the TRS sofas! Take care!
ReplyDelete#4 is a timeless classic, but #6 is a show stopper. Get them both and enjoy!
ReplyDeletechoice 2..elegant stylish comfortable..
ReplyDeleteWhere in heaven's name do you have room for two new coats every season.Lucky you. I love No.1 and it would be the only dress coat I would have.Betty
ReplyDelete1 because its classic, 6 for a little shimmery elegance and 16 for warmth and because its chic. Keep on adding more fashion from time to time, its so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful, it is a tough choice! I'll go with #1, the first Max Mara, just a perfect, classic camelhair. But #14 is a close second, another piece with classic lines from a stellar brand. (If forced, I would take almost any of them!)
ReplyDeleteSending you a smile!
tp
7 or 16, love Moncler and bought a gray version of this coat and its my every day coat, chic and warm.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #14!
ReplyDeleteWell, I actually own #1 (bought nearly 12 years ago)....so love that it still makes the classic cut. But, would love #2, #13 or #14!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe how warm it will get towards this weekend. I am truly a Southern gal and don't care for being cold.
Happy Wednesday, Tina!
xoxo Elizabeth
Hands down # 4 Brunello Cucinelli Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLinda B
I also have #1 (just without the belt) and I love it so much. I can put it on with aaaaanything and feel dressed yet comfortable.
ReplyDeleteOh this is fun Tina. I am going with # 7 Moncler in black and # 10 The Max Mara camel with fur collar. Two completely different looks!

Choice #1 is definitely my favorite, but choice #8 looks SO VERY Kate Middleton-esque. And it's impossible to go wrong with that classic Burberry!
ReplyDelete#8 and #13, get them both!
ReplyDeleteHello Tina! How wonderful to go shopping with you... Same mind here as I just bought 2 coats myself and one of them is Max Mara .... But my choices from you fantastic collection would be: 1,2,3!! 1 is just the right classic elegance and 2 is for play and après ski, 3 I need for the cool looking but warm! Every one should have the first 3 coats(:
ReplyDeleteAnd I need no 14 too just because it is so sexy and Burberry - best coats!
Hugs z
#14! .. but I'm torn.. also love #2 for a more casual;) look!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a great day!
I love #14. You put it on and can't be missed! ;-) Classy and timeless.

I also own the max Mara camel hair. It is a staple . I also have the Burberry jacket with the toggles . Again a staple, I wear it almost every day. Mine is navy. The red giambasta is a stunner. I would buy that!
ReplyDeleteLove them all...but #3 and #13....if they are faux, would be my choice and #1 is a must for every coat closet!
ReplyDeleteI love number 9! White looks so pretty in the winter!
ReplyDeleteCoat choice one would be my choice~ it is a classic always and forever style. If I could choose a second it would be choice five for a bit of GLAM! AND if i could have a third choice it would be choice nine for walking my dogs!
ReplyDeleteGood evening from Italy!
ReplyDeleteFor me Loro Piano(n.2) for sport time and
Burberry n. 14 for elegance. It's very elegant. Sorry for my bad english
Fiammetta
Timeless and classic #1 without a doubt. I wish all my decisions were that easy!! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteToo many choices. I usually dont function well with so many fashion choices. Home Decor yes. If I had to only pick one I would go with the Burberry it has a vintage modern look and I love Vintage mod for my personal style. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThe 1st Max Mara is just SO me only in Black, but then so is the Giambattista Valli flowered number. Then there is the silver shiny Burberry one....
ReplyDeleteHi Tina - When I saw your post, the first thing I thought was -"Tina has the coat I have been looking for her on blog today" - it's #1...Also loving the Moncler. I have the prettiest Christian Dior coat that is about 15 years old made with 100% Loro Piana Cashmere - it's a tiny size but the styles were so different that it is huge - I could wrap myself up in that cashmere all day long!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day!! xoxoxo
Tina.... I thought I was the only one that had a collection of size 4 clothes in my closet. I just know I'll get into them someday...maybe not in this lifetime though. My favorite is the burberry and my second favorite is the winter white one. I would be pretty happy with any of them though... Hope you're have a great day. On another note... are you having any problems with the Blogger browser uploading pictures? Mine has been down since last Fri. and I am so frustrated.

ReplyDeleteMost likely I would select No 1, although No 8 would be the best selection for me.
ReplyDeleteKristin
CHOICE 3, bellissimo, lo metterai per molti anni, perfetto nella linea e molto giovanile;
ReplyDeleteCHOICE 4 linerare , minimale, stupendo, che potrai arricchire con sciarpe di chachemire colorate.
Perfetti...io li comprerei all'istante.
Buon acquisto!

#14; Burberry London. Love Burberry coats. -Tonya
ReplyDeleteI bought a Marc Jacobs about 5 years ago that looks exactly like this one! I get lots of comments every time I wear it. But if I get to buy another one I would have to choose the #4 Cucinelli. Timeless.
Deletemy SIL has #11 (i think that was the number the Burberry toggle coat) - i always wanna steal it from her!
ReplyDeleteOh my, so many pretty choices! I have to go with 15. I've been wanting a white coat -- so chic! I wear coats for a long time too. I have a long black cashmere coat from college that I still use.
ReplyDeleteI actually love them all, but 5, 7 and 16 really make me happy! I just bought my first Burberry coat this year and absolutely love it. Its a real classic. Love your choices.
ReplyDeleteNumbers 2 and 14 - should not live without them.
ReplyDelete1,4,11,12!! I did not choose any shearling because I am assuming you have fur and they are in the same category in my book. I also did or choose a parka type because most people have at least 1 puffer type or skiing and market runs. I loved number 1and 4 because they are classic and assuming they are cashmere they are warm and last forever. They other 2 seemed classic and wearable for many seasons to come
ReplyDeleteWould love choice 11 for walking the dog, choice 5 for a spring wedding, but choice 4 is my favorite.
ReplyDelete1 for dressy and 2 for fun.
ReplyDeletebetsy
Oh my gosh! Sooo many choices! But i'm pretty sure I like #13, #4, and # 1
ReplyDelete13 because i love the color and it's a little funky and edgy but soft and pretty too... number 4 because that color looks good on everyone, especially blondes, and it's classic, could be dressed up or down, and # 1 just because it's classic, and easy to throw on and off!
Cindy
Love 2 and 14 for different occasions. Also, love the Giambattista Valli flowered number for a special occasion--but only once or twice a winter.
ReplyDeletelove your fashion and food posts as well as your interior design ones. Super fun blog!!
I find it impossible to say just one. I like you buy 2 or 3 coats every year or two and generally invest in them and keep them for a long time. My favorites for everyday are 16 and 2, for going out 12(love all the color) and for a classic number 1, that never goes out of style. Love your fashion sense.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteThis is a great lineup...#3 and 13 for me. I'm going through a gray phase right now...
best,
Emily @ UpstateCountryHouse.com
All beautiful but oh my word, #5 is just over the top beautiful. I would be so happy to score that coat!
ReplyDeleteI own only one everyday winter coat and I only use it when I go to nyc every January, so this post was super fun! Hands down #4 Brunelli Cucinelli, because I covet everything by him AND because that coat would be equally fabulous with flared jeans and wedge boots as well as with a skirt and high boots. Loved this one Tina!

Serena
I love 1 and 5! I am laughing to myself because I own too many winter coats to even count...and I like them all for different reasons and places.
ReplyDeleteI think they are all great but for different places! I hope you are feeling better!
Elizabeth
Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteI'll take #4. Very pretty!
Karen
Number 1 for me paired with my cashmere scarf of course but I really need number 3 too...love it!

Debra~
Choice 8 (I have almost the identical coat that is Choice 1; seems that I've always had a version of the classic camelshair coat).
ReplyDeleteMarilyn
The Muubaa Isabella is a knockout. I've never heard of this label before. What do you know about it?
ReplyDeleteLoved looking at these gorgeous coats - I actually own a coat similar to the Burberry as shown......... but here in Melbourne Australia I only have to even think about wearing a coat maybe three or four days per year. We have had bright blue skies and hot weather every day for quite a while, so, sigh, show me some bathers!
ReplyDeleteP.S.Do you say "bathers"? Togs? Swimmers?
My age and body I should just say - a one piece that hides a few flaws!
#1,#8 and I have a Burberry (#14) from several years ago. What fun choices- xo Diana
ReplyDelete#4 is my first choice, but #1 is a close second! So gorgeous. Love the down too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday.
Teresa
xoxo
How could anyone live without #5? Winter is so gray that colour is a must. Naturally I only own black and dark green at the moment so red would be a perfect addition.
ReplyDeletei like #1 but my choice would be which ever one is most expensive. i'd return it and get 3 from J. Crew.
ReplyDelete:)
i bet your closet is a happy happy place!
michele
# 12.
ReplyDeleteVery artsy.
#4
ReplyDeleteNumber 3, without doubt. Of course, I would never have a need for it here in SW Florida.
ReplyDeleteBest...Victoria
I love winter white so I'll choose number 15, but really I love them all!!
ReplyDeleteI love 6 and 13. I'm really picky about coats! Have a good night!
ReplyDeletexo
Sharon
Bruno without the fur bit would work for me! Fun post today--have a great night!
ReplyDeletexxBarbara
absolutely love 3, 4. And 13 to splurge.
ReplyDeleteSuch a tough call, but I think I'd have to go with #1 or #14. Although I think that #16 would do the best job keeping me toasty with snow flurries coming our way tonight! Hope you are well and having a lovely week, Tina! XO
ReplyDeleteI like number 14 best then 8 for their great structure but I think that number 3 or 13 with their assymetrical cuts would look better on my own curvy frame.
ReplyDeleteChoice 16 please. Cozy, and won't get too dirty with the kids, dog, dirty car.... :) admucha@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the first Burberry so much - dream coat! Although, I would probably get much more use out of #2. I keep "BORROWING" Logan's cropped puffer from J Crew because it has just the right amount of "puff" it's not too bulky but gives enough warmth and is not too bulky for the car. xo
ReplyDeleteVery hard choice, but I love 1 for a classic coat to keep forever, 5 for those glamorous outings and 7 and 16 for something warm, good looking for every day. Actually love each and every one! A good coat is a great investment.
ReplyDeleteSo funny - I have choice 11 and have been wearing it every day, but it is literally my least favorite out of all of these! I like choice 13 and wish I had bought that instead!
ReplyDeleteStacy
Shoot...not easy! I would have to choose # 3 and 8. There all so cozy and warm looking. I really don't wear coats that often....we only need a warm sweater where I live....
ReplyDelete8, 11 and 13 !!! three the best! love whem!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI own number 11, but if I had a chance to buy another, I would choose number 4.
ReplyDelete..the red one...the red one...the red one...oh my...blessings laney
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #2!!!! I am now trying to find it online. Please tell me where you found it so I can get it!!! It is too cute.
ReplyDeleteHeyа! I'm at work browsing your blog from my new iphone 4! Just wanted to say I love reading your blog and look forward to all your posts! Carry on the excellent work!

Muubaa Isabella and Proenza Schouler get my vote :) Harriett
ReplyDeleteMy choice would be #3. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThis was easy for me. Hands, down, I would chose # 4. It's tailored which is complimentary to many shapes, plus it has a bit of fun with the
fluff at the neck. Can't imagine who would wear any of the " puffy" coats. I'd think even the thinest person would look like the dough boy!
Hi Tina, what beautiful choices. You don't make it easy! I just bought one of those Moncler coats and not only is it the warmest coat I have ever owned, its beautiful too! I have to narrow it three, sorry too many pretty choices.
ReplyDelete#16, #13 and #1. Those are all so "me". I love your fashion sense and hope you will talk about fashion more, another talent!
#8, #15...hmmm, #15, #8....hmmm oh, heck, BOTH!!!! franki
ReplyDeleteOh Tina my dear,
ReplyDeleteYour comments and visits mean so much to me because I KNOW you truly receive each word, image and note of music in your heart! You can't have big dreams, build a castle, build a business and a beautiful extension of your life like you have WITHOUT seeing THE MAGIC. Your support in my writing really gives me wings to fly. Anita
On of each please, Tina! You have fabulous taste in clothes as well as homes!!! If I had to chose one... oh!!!!!.... 15 is fabulous! This is so much fun... and a little anxiety creating!!!
ReplyDelete#13 Please!
ReplyDeleteThese days I am usually found in parka style jackets...not too long but over the buns...so I guess I would be picking No 2. I love a bit of fur on a jacket. Hubs gave me an ivory hooded parka with a bit of fur and its glam but functional, just perfect for me. However so many fabulous coats, from the classic to the bohemian hipster~if I were out for a walk in the city I would throw on No3 as its so fun and funky and quite unique!
ReplyDeleteI keep my coats forever too! So I have one so similar to #1, and I have #11, so I will choose #14, but that color is a tough one for my complexion. Maybe in another color! Very fun post, shopping with Tina!
