Hi there, unfortunately have been sick since Saturday...but the good news is its turned a corner and today's the first day I am actually feeling slightly better, still tired and achey but much better, so the end is near, hate being sick in the summer!
Thankfully planned out my posts for this week already. One of these is overdue! Don't you think? Time for my weekly Which would you choose. So....lets just say you need to grab your magic wand and transplant the perfect breakfast room into your home. You know......one that is perfect to hang out in on cold rainy mornings, one to get your family together in for lively meals and one that is inviting enough for "girls night" or Scrabble battles on a cold snowy morning. What makes up the perfect breakfast room to you? 16 beautiful choices here and the decision is in your hands. I see two that really appeal to me and look forward to hearing which you choose! So here we go..........

Sigh...breakfast would feel like a royal event in any one of these gorgeous breakfast rooms. Thought I have it narrowed down to two, but now not so sure!! Could I have one for each of my 16 virtual reality homes? :) So tell me, which is your choice? Is there a clear cut favorite? Tell me about it!! What makes up the perfect breakfast room anyway?
Wishing you a wonderful day!
Good morning! Glad to hear you are feeling better. So many good choices here but I think #3 (but I would swap fixtures with #8).
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you were under the weather but glad you are on the mend. Breakfast room number 3 and 13 speak to me. I will happily have the Golden in number 14!
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 for me please.
ReplyDeleteSince it is a fantasy room, choice 3. It seems so elegant and very timeless.
ReplyDeleteNo contest for me, choice 7 all the way....perfect! Glad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI love different elements of the designs...too hard to pick just one! Lovely roundup!
ReplyDeleteRalph can do no wrong in my book. 14 for me!
ReplyDeleteHope that you feel better.
Happy Wednesday.

Boy you do not make this easy. I have three favorites, 1, 6 and 7 though there is something really special about each one. They are all lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi, Tina! Happy to hear you're feeling better!!!
ReplyDelete#15 for me...Do I see water in the background?
Anything by the sea for me. Lol!
Wow that is a tough one!!! its a three way tie between 1,6,and 15. Glad you are feeling better!!!
ReplyDeleteI would stay in room # 3 all day, not just at breakfast!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling good as new now!
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly very few of those settings appealed to me...none until I got to #14 (and then it might have been the dog!), but #15 would definitely be my choice.
Glad to hear you're on the mend with your summer cold, that's no fun. A lot to love in all the spaces but if I choose one to use for the family to be comfortable when all here with lap tops thrown on the table I need an island for morning coffee or a quick lunch. Either eight or nine would work and make me very happy!

The French Hutch
Wow these ALL blew me away. I would love my breakfast room to look like ANY of these and even got a few ideas! But if I had my dream breakfast room it would have to be 2 or 10, we live near the water and these both would work so well in our home, plus they are casual and look very kid and dog friendly (very important). SO many beautiful choices! Feel good Tina.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love #1, #3, and # 15's architecture.. although I wouldn't turn any of them down!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one!!! Hope you are feeling better!
ReplyDeletewww.donnaviningblog.com
I am totally loving #1!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that you were sick. It is lousy to feel sick in the summer. I know so many people who have been sick in this area, seems to be a lot going on. Hope you squeeze in some extra rest until you are feeling 100%. xoxo
CHOICE 14, HANDS AND PAWS DOWN! Gotta have the blue and white awnings and the dog!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Tina, I am glad to hear you are better! It is awful to be sick in summer! BISOUS, Anita
Definitely #14 Ralph Lauren with #1 following. Thanks for sharing the wonderful rooms.
ReplyDeleteBecause I still am in love with the Shabby chic look and will be eternally I am sure, has to be 4 or 11, just so sweet and inviting. Love them, feel better, we have been battling allergies colds and viruses over this way too!
ReplyDeleteTina, for my home I prefer #1 and for a home on the beach either #1 or #14. Merci et
ReplyDeletefait attention à toi.
I have to say #1 - to die for!! I'm sorry you were sick. It is the pits, especially in the summer. I'm glad you are on the mend!
ReplyDeleteStacy
Being a lover of transferware, and brown interiors I would have to go with #6. It is cozy, beautiful and classic.
ReplyDeleteHands down it's got to be #14. I can feel the breeze coming through the doors. Ahhhh what a way to spend the day, hanging out with my dog and enjoying the day!
ReplyDeleteSorry, none of the above.....there is nothing creative there....
ReplyDeleteSo happy you are better, it *is* awful being sick in the summer, no fun at all. I would go with #1, followed closely by #11. All of them were wonderful, light, bright and relaxing!
ReplyDeleteTough to choose, but I think #1. Or maybe #14 - I think it would be wonderful to wander out and see what's beyond those front doors. So glad to hear you are feeling better, Tina. Being sick in the summer is no fun at all! XO
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI love # 1, 4 and 11. If I had to pick one it would probably be # 11, love the windows and all the light coming into the room.
3 or 7 would make me very happy for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
ReplyDeleteWhat decisions to make so early in the morning!!! You tease! Just off the top of my head I like
ReplyDelete#5---#7---#8---#14.
They look inviting and comfortable.
No. 3 is so divine!! Second choice is no. 7 but have to say that they are all beautiful!! Thanks for your wonderful blog and sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well.
ReplyDeleteNumber 8,9 or 15
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, i love your choices! No 1 is my favorite, with 7 a close runner up. No 1 is a lovely example of a light airy room that doesn't go overboard on 'all white,' and is exactly what I'd love to do with my own room.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your comments on my blog!! I have to keep up with reading blogs! I am so enjoying the good weather here in Belgium. So I am not that much behind my computer these days!
I do choose n°14!! Of cause of the doggy!! Haha!! But it is a beautiful and elegant room! I would love to have dinner there!
xx

#3 and #14 for me!
ReplyDelete(glad you are feeling better)

#1.
ReplyDeleteGet well! judie
I really love the Ralph Lauren room...I think the view overlooks waterfront and that, of course, is always my first choice. Blessings to you, Tina. I hope you feel 100% soon- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteNo. 4 is calling me!! Altho - they are all wonderful rooms.
ReplyDeleteI choose Photo nr. 8
ReplyDeleteno. 1 fo sho.
ReplyDeletei have also been ill since sat night. it's a cold thing but with GI goodies thrown in as well. so weird to have it in the summer.
feel better soon.
michele
#3--because of the fireplace!
ReplyDeleteChoice 7 is definitely my favorite, but choice 14 is a close second! I love the use of a banquette or smaller round table with casual chairs - both to have more comfortable seating (for those scrabble games!) and to be more casual than a standard dining room. These were fantastic options to choose from, and the decision was not easy!
ReplyDeleteLiz B. from Miami
Tina you always make this so hard! Could you throw in a few "uglies" to make it easier? Haha....anyway was going to first say 7 without questions but love the coziness of 3 and the freshness of 1, so its 7, 3 and 1. Sorry just cannot name one!
ReplyDeleteI had a summer cold last month and it was not fun, feel better soon buttercup.
So many FABULOUS choices! Relaxation first thing in the morning, with my cup of coffee and I-pad is the key ingredient. Love the calming colors and all the windows in room #14, which brings in the morning light.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with my initial choice: No. 1
ReplyDeleteAlthough....I have had No. 6 that lovely little brown/white buffalo check/toile room from Souther Accents tucked into my idea file FOR YEARS. Still love it.
And I would be happy as a clam with No. 14.
You've included so many scrumptous examples... it's so hard to choose a favorite. I've finally settled on #14. I love the calming white palette and beautiful view. The doggy is the perfect finishing touch!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't stopped by in so long, Tina. Hope all is well at your enchanted home!
~ Wendi ~
Room number 14 just has "GOOD TIMES" written all over it. What time is brunch?
ReplyDeleteTina I always enjoy seeing what others have selected and had to laugh over the comment of someone saying "none of the above, nothing creative up there". What a joke, I would love to see what THEIR breakfast room looks like, haha.
ReplyDeleteI actually love so many but 14 for my beach house, hey we are dreaming afterall, number 3 for my mountain house and number 7 for my every day house! There, that should do it.
They are all amazing and it's so hard to choose a favorite. I really love #14, #7, and #2.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina! My vote is for 14 as well. Although I normally favor dark woods and richer colors, this room is so appealing because of the beautiful attention to detail. The gorgeous crisp white linen, the large elegant floral centerpiece, the individual silver mint julep cups filled with a personal floral arrangement for each guest, appetizing fresh fruit and preserves, and amazing ocean view make this room very special in my opinion! At the same time, while it is quite elegant, it also feels warm, cozy and relaxing. And who wouldn't want to sit down next to that darling dog??! Take care and hope you are feeling better soon! Lisa L.
ReplyDeleteI love no. 11 (victoria). I love Shabby chc, Victorian and Shabby Victorian. I've seen that picture before before and actually have it in a file - it's light, airy and brings you back to a gentler life time.
ReplyDeleteNumber 14 for me too, Tina!
ReplyDeleteBright, white and a waterfront view?
Perfect.
Hope this finds you feeling better.
No fun to be sick in the summer.
:(

Number six gets my vote!
ReplyDeleteFeel like such a party pooper but after going up and down, cannot narrow it down to even 3! I like so many. You chose too many lovlies for me narrow it down. BUT if I really had to say just one that would fit into my home now, it would I guess be 9 but 3 would be for my dream home. Thanks for all the eye candy.
ReplyDeleteTina my favorite is one not listed here which is YOURS! But from above it is a tie between 1 and 11. Glad to her you are feeling better. Judy
ReplyDeleteWow, you make it rather difficult to choose, but number 14 stands out to me the most. All very beautiful spaces though...
ReplyDeleteFirst place would have to go to #14...calming white palette with the ocean breeze just outside the door - perfection! Totally different, but I also liked #13, very warm and inviting. Glad you are feeling a little better!
ReplyDeleteLauren
Choice 14: Ralph Lauren! So beautiful and I just picture it overlooking a serene beach-front porch. I love all the white too, and this might be the only time I enjoy wicker furniture around a dining table.
ReplyDeletePour moi ce sera le numéro 14 sans hésitation !
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's definitely #14 !
Choice 7 please and I would not change a thing. The colors, the banquette, the lighting, the window treatments, it is absolutely perfect!! Now please hand over that magic wand, this house needs a little "magic"!
ReplyDelete#10 or #14. We're currently searching for a lake home to retire to, and either one of those says "lake" to me! Thanks for your wonderful blog, which I just discovered through Pinterest.
ReplyDelete15 is tops for me I love the structure of the room, the colours chosen and the proximity to water. Then 14 but I would lose the oversized centerpiece. Then 11 but the chairs don't look comfy so I'd switch them.
ReplyDeleteOh I am glad your are feeling better, Tina. I always struggle with trying to pick out my favorite with these fun posts of yours...I since I decided I can just like them all... much less stress :)
ReplyDeleteAs lovely as they ALL are, my heart went straight to 7. I could see many happy occasions and meals being had there. So perfect, I may just have to reconsider a makeover for my own breakfast room! Hope you are on the mend, this summer has been brutal for those with allergies!
ReplyDeleteOh number 14 - I need that view!
ReplyDeleteps: Feel better
Beijos,
http://acasadava.blogspot.com/
choices 1 and 8 for me please!
ReplyDeleteWhile I love the idea of a bench in the breakfast room, the French bistro chairs in #10 are so great and easier to clean. Light streaming through French windows in the morning would be the added bonus!
ReplyDeletexxoo
I have long admired RL's room (#14), especially with the pierced blanc de chine cache pot filled with roses, the welcoming wicker chairs and the "we are at the seashore" aqua and white striped awnings. A winner in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better.
Best...Victoria
#15 for me it looks relaxing. I hope you feel better very quickly Tina.
ReplyDeleteXX
Debra~
Such great designs, but it's Number One for me. Hope you're feeling better. Mona
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteSorry you've been under the weather, happy to hear you've turned the corner.
Easy choice...RL always wins the day for me, Choice 14!
Karen
Hope you're feeling better, nothing worse than being sick in summer.
ReplyDelete#1 or #3 are both rooms I would love to spend time in.
#1 and #10....perfect for me =)
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration...thanks for sharing.
It would be easier to say which ones I don't like, because there are so many I adore here. I want my dining area to look just like these, so stunning and great inspiration. 7, 10, 14 and 15 are my faves.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll take #14 if it comes with the dog. It actually looks a lot like the breakfast room I grew up with in my parents house! Hope you feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better! I look forward to your posts. I have to say that Choice 3 is my favorite, but I could live with choice 14 or choice 7. I recently moved a loveseat into my breakfast room. I love the idea of being able to relax there with my coffee and blogs early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous breakfast rooms..who needs a dining room when you have a breakfast room like these? I could see spending EVERY meal in there! In this order, my favorites are 7, 1, 9 and 3. If that magic wand would also grant me a beach house, then you make 14 for that house...lol.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun and as usual a delightful post full of beauty! Feel better Tina.
I'm so glad you're feeling better! That's awful to have felt under the weather that long. I believe choice 10 for me, please : )
ReplyDeleteTina, glad to hear that you are feeling better. No. 3 for me. Enjoy your blog so much! Louise
ReplyDeletechoice #6!!!
ReplyDelete3 or 14 please! Hope you recovered soon.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely choose #1. It really appeals to me, soothing, uncluttered, and also country with a modern touch. Enjoy your blog and hope you are feeling much better.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at hello. No 1 is definitely my favourite. Get better soon x Sharon

ReplyDeleteI like coastal living style.there is noting better then to have a coastal home decor.
ReplyDelete#3 but all (as always) are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove all, but #1, 11 and 14 are just fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteEspecially #14... just because it's Ralph Lauren! :)
Wishing you a great weekend
Angela
I like numbers 6 and 4, but if I had to actually buy one of them, it would be 1.
ReplyDeleteI love choice number 2! A window seat for the kids is always nice!
