Happy Saturday. Soooo happy its the weekend! I need a break and some time this weekend to relax and do what I please, will be in the city, dinner with friends, a nice walk with Teddy, maybe even some "retail therapy"! Today I am over at my friends, Karen's lovely blog, Art by Karena. Karen is a talented artist in her own right who writes a beautiful blog, one that is heavily accented by art which is her true passion. She asked to do a short interview with me on the opening of my new shop The Enchanted Home shop, which I was incredibly flattered by and happy to do. In addition we decided to do a little giveaway for one of my beautiful crystal urn candles, so do stop on over to take a look! Hope you have a fabulous Saturday whatever you might be up today. See you over at Art by Karena........click here to visit!
Pretty Karena!
And here's the candle being offered up for the giveaway...stop on over for a chance to win!
A perfect size and style for virtually any home...and the heavenly gardenia scent is otherworldly!
Also very excited to be adding these beauties to my store, its such an appropriate addition, as I love pictures and am a sucker for beautiful elegant old world looking frames. What do you think?
And one more thing...Happy Cinco De Mayo!
Adios.............

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a Derby party to attend, which is always so fun, as everyone wears their hats. The hostess is from Kentucky and has made this her annual party!!
Hope it was a happy Cinco de Derby as I've heard this weekend called!
xoxo Elizabeth
Went right over and really enjoyed your interview, wise words! Love knowing more about you and what started your design career and you great new online business. Love the candle too. Those frames are gorgeous, I would definitely buy a few of them when they are up for sale, hopefully soon! And those dogs for Cinco de Mayo are so cute! We went to a really fun party last night and had to dress up, the whole big, many many margaritas later here I am still rather hung over! But it was a fun night, hope you enjoyed your weekend off.
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteI've been to Karena's and loved the interview. Of couse you have design in your background it's in your blood and ready to make it's reappearance.
The new frames are needed and perfect since most frames these days are non-descript and tend to be on the modern side of design. I think they're lovely and make wonderful gifts if you plan ahead and shop before you need it. I have purchased similar frames and business card holders much like the first frame lovely!

Happy weekend!
