What do you think about these pillows and bench? I ordered the pillows and am considering this bench, am totally in love with it (from French Market) I am a sucker for anything with birds or pheasants and think these will look wonderful in my family room.....
Madly in love with this picture, mostly for the colors and that aged patina, isn't it spectacular?
I picked up these gorgeous hardware pieces from Anthropologie, (they always surprise me with unexpected finds) and fell in love with them, they are way too oversized for my bathroom which is where I originally was thinking it could work, but holding onto them just in case they could work for my closet..what do you think?
I watched AGAIN one of my all time favorite movies this weekend, Somethings gotta give. I swear I have seen it at least half a dozen times and watch it like there it is just the very first time. Do movies have that effect on you? From the music to the setting in the Hamptons to the perfect beach house...it is everything I look for and enjoy in a movie! Anything Nancy Meyers does always appeals to me and I have always said if I had a Freaky Friday experience, that is who I would want to change places with, could have so much fun coming up with all kinds of great ideas for "Nancy's kind of movies"!
My niece had a baby on Thanksgiving day, we are so excited! She is coming back from the hospital tonight. Unfortunately I had to miss her shower, as it was given by a relative who lives in NYC on the 30th floor and I do not, under ANY circumstance take elevators. So I dropped off her gift earlier and took a few pics because I had such fun putting it together, and thought it came so sweet, what doesn't look adorable in pale pink meant for a new little baby! I filled it with all kinds of beautiful clothes, a stuffed animal, a few receiving blankets, and a little pillow in this super comfy cozy Moses basket. I had gotten one when my youngest was born and got so much use out of it.
I love this shot, I had gone to the house as the sun was setting yesterday, when the last guy was finishing up, and the sky was such a deep dark gray blue as it was getting dark it almost looked like some kind of special effect, took a picture with my Iphone. The sky looks like magical doesn't it?
And finally to end this post with a bit of humor thrown in..have you seen this video about the Uggs "vaccine"? It is pretty funny....and something that whether you are a fan or not, is sure to give you a good laugh!
So that's a wrap for me. Hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing weekend. The weather here has been spectacular! Enjoying it while its so mild, as I know it won't last long. Until tomorrow....have a fabulous day!

I have 3 daughter who all own Uggs. They swear they are so warm and comfy on cold winter days. What I don't understand is seeing women wearing them with short? I scratch my head when I see that. Then again, I don't understand women wearing sleeveless dresses in the dead of winter. Rant over.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't pay me enough money to go to one of those crazy Black Friday sales. I use to work them and that was bad enough.
Error, make that 3 daughters.
ReplyDeleteAnother error, make that wearing shorts. I need to proofread lol. Either that or drink more coffee.
ReplyDeleteI hate (I know, such a strong word), but really dislike what Black Friday has turned into. I used to love the hustle and bustle of going shopping on Friday after Thanksgiving. It was sort of a tradition with my sisters and mom as was the day after Christmas. But the past 10 years or so, we gave it up. Too much drama in the stores. Advertised product that simply wasn't there. You know, the doorbusters that they only had 5 of, but 200 people camping in the parking lot thinking they were going to get one. Now, every store opening on Thanksgiving. Families not able to celebrate the holidays because they have to work. Face it, those employees are probably temporary part time minimum wage workers who will be let go at the end of the season. People getting trampled on, getting shot or shot at, getting maced.....
ReplyDeleteThe whole black friday thing is now disgusting.
jmo
I have to say I am with you I don’t do black Friday I am not fighting crowds for anything. I think people have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas it isn’t about the stuff. Stop buying and start enjoying the ones nearest to you. I prefer a nice homemade gift over something store bought and if that isn’t in you realm of expertise your company is the perfect gift. Anthropology is always surprising me with what they offer and your knobs are fabulous. That gift basket you put together for your niece is wonderful what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your Sunday!
Debra
Another question for you, Tina - can you please show us what you look like? Your style is so warm and friendly, and it would be nice to see the person behind the blog.
ReplyDeleteGood morning dearest Tina,
ReplyDeleteOh, every picture (LOVE YOUR FAVORITE ONE TOO) and all the musings are just comforting as I sit here in breezy and cool Minneapolis. Your hardware, your ideas are just magnificent. But that last photo of the house....OMG. It reminds me of the opening scene in the movie, REMAINS OF THE DAY. Your home is of this caliber, and that shot just gives a spectacular view for US to see what you will be looking at for a long time! BRAVO DEAREST, you are almost IN!!!!! I TELL YA, I will be partying down for you when you settle in your comfy bed and make your first meal in that kitchen!!!! HUGS Anita
Hi Rita, I agree that black Friday has gotten out of hand. I would totally avoid malls and the big chain stores although, I used to go to a nearby store at 6 AM for fun but it’s just not worth staying up all night. Not anymore. The death last year and all the violence this year have convinced me to call a halt to black Friday shopping. Besides, I like to do the bulk of my shopping before Thanksgiving so I can enjoy all the holidays. If people want to save money and time, try drawing names so you only give one gift. The adults do this in our family and it really helps make Christmas more fun. I still give to all the kids, though.
ReplyDeleteThe hardware is gorgeous. It’s true what they say; beautiful hardware is like jewelry for furniture and cabninets. I say go for it.

Hello Tina
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of needlepoint pillows, these are timeless and I also love the couch. Yes, to the Anthropologie hardware too - they have many uses, perhaps on a dresser drawer if other spots fail. The image of the door and the wreath is wonderful and creates such curiosity.
For a million dollars I would not go to a mall on "black Friday". But to each "it's own". Having said that I have good friends from Ireland who own a home in Florida and are flying out for a week, specifically to coincide with "Black Friday" In Ireland, they see it referred in Movies and TV, I shall be curious to hear of their views.
Your home at twilight is spectacular and has a wonderful air of tranquility.
My best
Helen xx
Absolutely agree about Black Friday...it has no appeal for me at all!
ReplyDeleteYour home is absolutely beautiful and I love the pillows...birds and pheasants are my weakness.
Hope you have a beautiful day!
NEVERto black friday. LOVE anything with birds. Plate pic exquisite. Just decorated my fresh evergreen door wreath with pinecones, pepperberries &u magnolia ..used a pretty cream burlap ribbon with french script! !
ReplyDeleteGood morning. As usual much to comment on. Share your thoughts on the madness of Black Friday and any other day that promotes this kind of barbaric "shopping" that the public has become obsessed with. I find it ridiculous but as long as people keep lining up at 2 am to take advantage, you better be sure the retailers will continue, I for one want no part of it however.
ReplyDeleteNow, those pillows are just beautiful, I too love pheasants and the bench is so pretty, love it for the end of a bed or maybe your closet?
That video is hystercial! I must pass it along to a few "Ugg wearers" in my life.My feeling on them is as long as you are 24 and under, enough said.
Your house picture with that beautiful sky is incredible, looks like something out of a movie set.
And last I had to comment on the way you put together that beautiful baby gift! That is so pretty, who wouldn't be delighted to receive such a beautifully packaged gift and all the goodies inside look precious.
Lovely post as always.
Hey Tina-
ReplyDeleteLOVE the bench. I am back to needle point after Christmas. I enjoy it and will need something to help me multi-task after school is out, lol! Really like the anthropologie hardware. Aren't they the best?
House looks beautiful at night!
Teresa
xoxo
ps- I hate Black Friday!
Beautiful pillows and the bench is so pretty too, more for looks than function though as it looks very delicate.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house pic! HATE Black Friday though my daughter and 3 of her friends went out at midnight and shopped till 6am, I wanted no part of it but they got some great deals and said it was actually "fun" spoken as only an 18 year old with energy to burn can!
That hardawre is so beautiful, keep it, I bet you can use it if not the closet for some furniture pieces. Really beautiful looking.
Somethings gotta give is a great movie, have seen it twice but you are right, it is such a "feel good' kind of movie.
Hoping you enjoy your Sunday. Great baby gift!
Totally agree - black Friday is a nightmare! However, I did venture out on Saturday to support my local stores for Small Business Saturday and got one major holiday errand out of the way! Moses baskets are a great gift - I used one for all my kids - so pretty and practical! I'm sure your niece will be very appreciative!
ReplyDeleteThey ARE so comfortable!!! love my Uggs :) Also, we voted on closet pictures....what was the winner?
ReplyDeleteUGGS video is hysterical, I know a few that I will have to share this with! Great looking hardware too..I vote keep it and I am sure you will find a place to add it, it is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks like a painting with that dark blue sky.
HATE Black Friday and would never ever go out in all that craziness, not my thing, and I always seem to find decent enough deals without having to face the crowds.
Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.
Congratulations on your new grand-niece, Tina!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Black Friday here in Canada, as our Thanksgiving is in October. Boxing Day used to be complete chaos, but, retailers have now expanded it to 'Boxing Week', and it's a relatively calm shopping experience with some great deals. I like to look for hugely discounted Christmas wrapping paper, etc. to use the following year.
I love the glass knobs from Anthropology, and hope they work in your closet.
Have a lovely day, Tina,
~ Wendi ~
Funny video! Ironically, DH and I each purchased Uggs years ago. Found them comfortable but within a couple of years both pair began to fall apart! I know...I've never talked to anyone else who has had that happen but they did (no, they were Uggs and not knock-offs), so we've never purchased another pair. .
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday ~ no, would never participate and agree the commercialism of Christmas is sad but as long as crowds continue to storm the stores on BF, retailers will continue to push the envelope. Consumers voting with their feet in favor of BF.
Good Sunday to you! The post today was very nice and I could not agree with you more about the crazy idea of Black Friday! There is not enough money in the world to take me out shopping on the weekend after Thanksgiving! After having 24 for The Holiday I have spent the last two days decorating my home for Christmas and am exhausted but in a good way! Love the wreath as well and Where exactly did the pillows come from? I would love those on my sofas in the winter and fall. Happy Blogging
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Pam Kelley
Oh that video was funny~our favorite QB from the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, is now a model for Uggs for men! I LOVE him in their commercial. He can look good in anything and he is a class act. I hate crowds and I avoid them at all cost. I hate lines too, so Black Friday is not something that I would do. I also don't go out hunting for xmas decorations on sale the day after Christmas. I saw that you avoid elevators, so it is the same kind of thing, where the masses in small spaces are so uncomfortable. Recently went to a concert and I thought I will NEVER do this again. I just hate crowds! The house looked amazing at twilight!! The hardware is something I would buy and figure out where to use it because it is incredible looking. And I ADORE that settee~so get it!!
ReplyDeleteThe whole Black Friday thing is strange to me...I just don't understand it. I think retailers have concocted the whole thing and people have fallen for it. Although maybe the deals are that great and people who normally can't afford to buy as much are able to...due to the discounts so I think that is a good thing. I would avoid it at all costs but I don't go to malls anyway. I'm a bit claustrophobic too and can't be in large crowds with lots of people squished together.
ReplyDeleteFor the first time, I noticed that we are having Black Friday sales in Canada. The malls were busy, but not insane. Nothing like what I hear that goes on south of the border, but I'm sure it will be like that in no time, if stores up here continue to push it! I'd rather avoid the chaos and pay a little more in a relaxed environment.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteLove the needlepoint pillows, I've seen those same pillows in ebay, don't know if they still have them. There is a parrot pillow on there right now that is nice...
The ugg video made me giggle... and I LOVE your generous shower present! The basket is sooo pretty, won't she have fun opening it!
My hubby bought a shop vac online at Lowes on thanksgiving morning and picked it up friday. Online shopping may be the death of black friday. We didn't experience any lines on Friday, and went to several box store. That's not good for the economy...
So don't you think that being kind to others is inside of all of us, and why on earth would you choose to be rude to fellow shoppers over a bargain? That just doesn't make sense. I had a wonderful time and think that if you get tired and cranky because you can't find a parking spot, go home!
I have a nephew who worked Thanksgiving and was off by 2. He is happy to have a job, and got double-time working the holiday, he was very happy with his Thursday earnings, and was very happy with a steady stream of customers. His point of view is that people have the day off and CAN go shopping. He said it was busier than normal, much to his delight.
How do I comment on a post where everything is so wonderful? Anthro rocks! But that wreath has me big time! What a wonderful piece! And, I could definitely construct this. The gift basket is gorgeous and filled with scrumptiousness...well done, Tina!! Black Friday. I don't even leave the house because of the traffic problems. But we did go to the huge Christmas store wholesaler yesterday, my daughter was delighted to find so many unusual and new things, even gifts for hostesses and their children. NEVER stop blogging, we all thrive on our virtual friendships, don't we?
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday makes me stay home! I just can't stand the crowds and the madness! What a beautiful basket you put together for your niece!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful Sunday~ xo Diana
Oh dear, I do suffer from "elephant feet." However, I try to prevent the "illness" from spreading by wearing them only at the house when my feet are cold. And to Pilates. And in my car when traveling....Very funny. But, yeah, they are comfortable! And you know what I don't get the Black Friday madness! What's up with the chica who pepper sprayed everyone to get an Xbox. yikes. Take care.
ReplyDeleteVery funny video! My daughter and I venture out on Black Friday every year. This year we even bought.... Uggs! We always go to Saks for Men (there's a separate dept store for men here in SF :) and load up for my husband. They have 75% off til noon. It's amazing and never crowded. The Occupy Oakland people that showed up and blocked the streets was pretty awful.
ReplyDeleteYour house photo is beautiful!
I have made it a practice NOT to shop on Black Friday. There is nothing that I need so badly to make me want to venture out. My younger two daughters work at an outlet mall while home on college breaks. The stories they tell about the craziness on Black Friday are funny - yet somewhat disturbing.
ReplyDelete"But they're so comfortable" - Hysterical!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pale pink & hot pink baby basket. You NEED a gift-wrapping room in the basement - it's essential! :) My nephew had a baby girl 2 days before TG, and I bought her the cutest Hot Pink Minnetonka fringed moccasins from Hanna Andersson.
We seriously need to get Nancy Meyers to make a movie called, Which Would You Choose...ya know where the main protagonist has to decide which gorgeous home to buy, East Coast/West Coast, Nantucket/Malibu, you get the idea! She's also a fashion-forward gourmet chef - Now that's a movie I could watch over and over.
firstly....
ReplyDeleteyou will not stop blogging.
you make have crossed over into 'blogging addiction'
as so many of us have.
....and besides....
what would your fans do without you???
there would be a void in their lives where you once were.
onto the hardware....i have used the anthropology look alike hardware several times.
i think it would be perfect in your kitchen, they look like sparkling jewels on the cabinets.
do it!!!
as for the bench and everything else you usually about....i adore!!!
we have very similar taste - if not the same.
xxxx
I so agree with you about Black Friday. Actually, I think the behavior of people driving and shopping during the entire holiday season is disturbing. I posted about it on my blog, too. It makes me want to stay home and do gift purchasing online! Love your blog by the way!
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree about about avoiding Black Friday shopping chaos! And it is important for everyone to remember that Christmas is about being thankful for our family, health and happiness, and not about giant televisions!
ReplyDeleteThe Ugg clip was hilarious! They really are
Ugg-ly, although I am guilty of wearing them too ;)
Loved the hardware you showed- exquisite! And the moses basket full of goodies is divine- I know she adored it!!!
Hi Tina...good grief if you stoopped blogging before you showed us the decor in your enchanted home, well you would have a riot on your hands dear gal!! The most exciting part is still to come!!!!!! REally love those door handles for your room... a friend of mine just used similar ones in her dressing room and they are gorgeous and glam.. the shot of your house at dusk is de lovely...We also have a new babe in the family..all of three days old named Sebastian! too cute...enjoyed your basket of goodies...always exciting to gather for a new baby... I can almost not rememeber my kids being that tiny...lol
ReplyDeleteVeronica
xx
Where to start.. this post is full of gorgeousness to amuse on a Sunday! That room with the cream silk curtains and blue and white transferware is breathtaking. I was looking at it just last night and kept staring at it; it is so very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat wreath is giving me ideas for spending the rest of my Sunday.
I'm so glad you gave your source for your door hardware. I was wondering the same.
I hope the rest of your weekend is fabulous! And I'm so glad you will keep on blogging once you are in your house. I've gotten attached to your blog and would miss you!
-Keri
I forgot one thing: I completely ignore the Black Friday hoopla. I spent mine with my kids and husband eating leftovers and scouting lovely Christmas lights displays, and felt smugly content as I passed the mall and smiled to myself that I was not there!
ReplyDelete-Keri
I laughed reading your comments about Black Friday. I am one of the "crazies" who ventured out only because my sister was in town from California, begged me to along with our girls and we threw caution to the wind, got suited up for battle and off to the mall we went....at 11pm!
ReplyDeleteI must say I wouldn't want to do it again, it was very busy, some people acting like the end of the world was near but my daughter did snag a TV that normally is around 600 for 299 so that was pretty neat. That said, I can say I survived it, but have no desire to do it again, ditto my sis who wanted to experience it but admits it is a lot of hype! Do not recommend if you are claustrophic, in some store, people were crammed in there, and it was a little uncomfortable.
We surived though and I am happy to do the rest of my shopping at my favorite place on earth, Online!
Anyway, love the baby basket, that is so sweet and the hardware is gorgeous, looks so old fashioned that is why I like it. Anthro has really gone from good to great in my opinion. Yes for those pillows and the bench is lovely as long as you have a place for it, doesnt' seem fitting for a living or family room, looks more like a mudroom bench but not sure if it would hold up?
So glad you are commited to keep blogging for good! I so enjoy your blog and its a daily "fix" of mine and I am really excited about how you are going to decorate your new home (especially since I got a taste yesterday)! And it was beautiful. Sorry for rambling..
Hi Tina, haven't been around this week so have to go back and see what I have missed. I am with you about Black Friday, free loot couldn't lure me in! No thanks, its really gotten ugly and I dont' want to be part of it, but I know a few who did go out and shop that night,.
ReplyDeleteYou must keep that hardware, its GORGEOUS. I really love it and could see it in a closet, is putting it in your bathroom out of the question?
Somethings Gotta give is one of my favorites too, just a great movie that made me feel really happy and I fell in love with the house they used!
Good luck as you gear up to move, very exciting!
honestly, tina, i love your random musings. here's what's stuck in my brain this very second:
ReplyDeletei could definitely be friends with this girl. her favorite movie is my favorite movie, and sounds like she has a good measure of the same diane-keatonesque-charming-anxiety i do. also, as i recall, you live among teens/young adults. you're speaking my language, and frankly, i haven't found too many souls lately who are fluent.
smiles to you.
michele
I dont get the shpping craze especially if it would interfer with me eating!! I dont think the deals are worth rushing one of the most important holidays we celebrate. But maybe I think that cuz I never have money to spent around this time of year anyway... =P
ReplyDeleteLOVE THAT UGGS VIDEO. THAT IS SO FUNNY!
ReplyDeleteI WILL NEED TO GET THAT CIRCULATING AMONGST MY 'UGG WEARING MOMMY FRIENDS" WHO IN MY EYES LOOK SILLY IN THEM:-)
LOVE ALL THE GOODIES HERE ESPECIALLY THE PILLOWS AND HARDWARE. OH AND THAT BABY GIFT, MAKES ME WANT ANOTHER BABY, SO SWEET.
AND AS FAR AS BLACK FRIDAY I THINK THE WHOLE PHENOMENON IS ABSURD AND ANYONE WHO GIVES INTO IT SHOULD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE IN FOR.
ENJOY YOUR SUNDAY.
I agree on the Black Friday comment Tina - it's pretty scary actually when you step back and look at it as a measure of where our society is going! I refuse to get caught up in the madness!!! Oh, and your baby gift looks adorable - I had one for my kids and I just loved seeing them snuggled up in it - they outgrow it so fast which made it even more precious!
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday seems to have degenerated into something entirely removed from a fun adventure looking for bargains, it has devolved into a greed-driven frenzy, it's hideous. We went to Target in the afternoon because we had to pick up a prescription for Silly Tilly, the tubby bulldog, and it was actually rather civilized. Very few lines, none at the pharmacy, none in electronics, go figure.
ReplyDeleteLove the reclaimed limestone, how fabulous! I hear the claustrophobia issue on a much reduced scale, it can be nasty business though. The needlepoint pillows are such a favorite of mine, I am about to finish another, the theme is a bit more whimsical!
Sending you a smile!
tp
Ditto what Andrea said, word for word, and I really love the handles from Anthropologie.
ReplyDeleteI don't do black Friday- I did years ago when my Mom was still alive, but after she was pushed down, I swore NEVER again. There are no bargains worth it. I too am claustraphobic and cannot stand crowds- recipe for disaster for me. Majority of the deals can be found somewhere online during the season, as I order 90% online.
ReplyDeleteYour home is wonderful! So glad you'll continue blogging.
Tina, the ' ugg' video is a treasure.
ReplyDeleteYour baby basket looks absoultely gorgeous. l'm sure it was received with cries of delight.
Love the hardware from Anthropologie, l hope they work for your closet..
Congratulations to your new bundle of joy in your family! The gift basket was spectacular! Love all the little outfits you put in their! Love the picture of your house at dusk...gorgeous! I also love any movie that Nancy Meyers does...so girly and fun and always has a beautiful home to admire int he background! Love her! I should have added her to the people I would love to have dinner with in your Behind the Blogger series! I feel the same as you about the Black Friday shopping....all my friends and family members that went out had to take a whole day to catch up on their sleep! No thank you....I did get up early and went to J.Crew and bought some scarves I've wanted and a few other fun things there...no lines and not crowded which is my kind of shopping. :)
ReplyDelete"Black Friday" is a day to sleep in, take long walks in the woods with family and friends to work off all of the over-indulging done the day before. We also spend the afternoon eating leftovers, watching old movies, and playing board games. I have never, will never step foot in a retail store on Black Friday just on principle. I don't care what bargains or deals there are to be had, nothing beats spending quality time with family and friends.
ReplyDeleteLove the pillow and too am a fan of pheasants. RL has a great fabric with pheasants (Hunting Manor Paisley) and I am using it in my husbands home office along with RL Norfolk Tweed and Bridgeport Silk in Midnight blue.
Please don't stop blogging-ever! Love your taste in everything from movies to decorating.
Uggh, I will be buying my daughter a pair. Hate the look and would LOVE for her to be herself rather than a carbon copy!
ReplyDeleteLove all your bits, especially those gorgeous handles. I can never watch SGTG enough times, one of the best movies ever! And had a chuckle at the Ugg add, have to agree, awful but comfy! But what's with the new craze of wearing Hunter wellies around town even if it's a sunny day? That's equally as bad.
ReplyDeleteSomethings Gotta Give is my Mom's favorite movie too! how cute is that baby basket?!?
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I haven't ventured out for "Black Friday" in 28 years and really have no desire to do so. Lucky for me some of the things I wanted that were on sale were available on line! I got to spend Black Friday taking care of our three grandchildren (4yrs, 3yrs & 5 mos) while our daughters spent the day shopping. I definately got the best deal of the day! Have a fantastic week!
ReplyDeleteTina, I'm stuck on your comment that you never get in an elevator. Does
ReplyDeletethis mean you don't get to travel and stay in beautiful hotels? It's my favorite thing to do--besides be with my family. Please tell me you've found a way
around this?
Hi Tina .... I have worked out that I can leave a comment as "anonymous" but it is me M.A. the 2nd from Beautiful Interiors and 18th Century Style. I absolutely adore that picture of your home at dusk .... just stunning. Everthing is looking gorgeous. I also love that little settee .... I have just recently helped a client purchase a similar one. I can't believe it but "Somethings Gotta Give" is one of my favourite movies and I have lost count at how many times I have watched it glued to the screen and taking in everything single detail of the interiors. I especially love her bedroom and of course the main room! Thanks for dropping by and I knew you would love the artwork. Have a great week!
ReplyDeletebest wishes always
Frances
Tina...love this post and love hearing every last detail about the house! We carry French Market pillows, etc.. in the shop and have done quite well with them. Glad you like them! The baby shower gift was incredible! I so hate that you have such a fear of elevators! I had a very good friend with the same fear! I too am quite claustrophobic and have lots of fears so I'm the last one to tell you what to do about it! LOL!! You seem quite well adjusted...especially since you the love the movie Something's Gotta Give as much as I do! I think we watch bits and pieces every night! It's an obsession....I will admit! Anyway...our weekend was nice....hope your's was spectacular!
ReplyDeletemuch love,
Carolyn Bradford
Oh you give the most beautiful gifts! The new Mom must have been thrilled!!! I LOVE the hardware! You know how I feel about Anthropologie!!! xoxo
ReplyDeletewhat a fun baby gift, your neice and great-niece are two lucky girls!! Love love the knobs from Anthro. I also love their silk lampshades with embroidery on them, so pretty. Don't even get me started on the mob shopping!! I was truly disgusted in what I saw on the news.Truly disgusted. Love the image of your home in blue-light, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteYou have to keep and find a place for the Anthopologie hardware! It reminds me of the ones I just used on my daughters hot pink desk, except I got mine at Lowes haha!
ReplyDeleteI am so with you with the black friday, cyber monday crazy crap. It's all insane... you wouldn't catch me any where near all that stuff. It's total mental and sensory overload... and media driven, and just all so wrong...
ReplyDeleteI do love the wreath you showed, but not the ribbon on it so much...
and the anthropolgy hardware is wonderful...
i have a messed up keyboard on my computer, so it may have sent the start of my comment by accident, i had to start all over with comment, so if you get two responses from me, it's this crazy keyboard that's driving me nuts!!!
Cindy
YOu couldn't PAY me to shop in Black Friday! I heard a lady (and I use that term loosly) PEPPER SPRAYED another shopper to get a TV!!!!!! That is so sick. It is madness and I want NO part of it. Love the pillows and bench AND the bathroom hardware. SOOOOOO happy you will continue blogging. When is MOVE IN????? XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteI have never and will never be a Black Friday shopper - I detest crowds. No deal is good enough to get me to brave an aggressive hoard of people.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks so cool in the dark like that! It looks magical.
That wreath is HUGE! It's like fall on steroids. Only a majestic home like yours could pull off such an abundant wreath. You should get one just like it.
xoxo, Adrienne
Oh I love posts filled with good stuff like this!! The exterior of your home is just incredible. LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteNancy xo
What a nice time of year to have a new baby in the family. You basket is beautiful... she will love it. I like anything by Nancy Meyer too. Funny, I've never seen that movie. I'll have to check it out. It's one of the few I have meant to watch but just never got around to it! Your house photo is gorgeous! Oh, and I love the pillows too! xo
ReplyDeleteHysterical Uggs ad! Your dream home is drop-dead gorgeous. Can't wait to watch how you decorate it! Black Friday is evil and I will have nothing to do with it. Cyber Monday is another story though. Online shopping is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteI didn't do the black Friday madness, but I am not going to lie... I still got some christmas shopping in online!
ReplyDeleteI have never attempted black fri shopping in the 18 yrs that I have lived in the U.S. The thought of it scares me every year and I have never needed or wanted anything so desperately that I have felt the need to brave the chaos and mayhem. I had to entertain over the weekend so it was a perfect day to hit the empty grocery stores! love the anthropologie finds..I am sure you will make them work somewhere.
ReplyDelete
