Which would you choose?

Good morning everyone! You know what time it is......Time to put aside real life for a few minutes and fantasize just a little. OK, here is the deal, just imagine you have been a bit sick, nothing worse than a bad cold but feeling really tired and run down....... its a frigid, bone chilling, dreary day, actually its totally miserable outside and look at that, it has started to snow!!

Somehow being under the weather feels like a blessing and you have been doubly blessed by being given the day off, hubby has waltzed off to work (while announcing as he's out the door that he is also picking up the kids from practice AND picking up dinner on his way home), kiddos have been ushered off to school, and you are home for the day all by yourself to rest up, get better, watch TV, eat in bed (favorite soup is cooking on the stove)  and read if you so wish (a bevy of books and mags of your choosing sits on your nightstand). Now that I have set this scene, you get to choose which bedroom you can see ensconcing yourself in for the day, and if you want I will even throw in a crackling roasting fire blazing away in your own fireplace...hows that for a master bedroom dream? So you know the drill, take a look at this bevy of beauties and tell me which would you choose? Cannot wait to see who the "winner" is!

So.....I am so curious to see who takes the lead, though I could see getting really comfy and cozy in each one of them!  I really would be hard pressed to pick a favorite but promise when I reveal the results in a day or two to have come up with a personal favorite too. Something to love in each and every one....they are all so elegant and inviting, don't you think? So....tell me which speaks to you! Hope you have a wonderful day.

  1. Choices 9 & 15 for me, love a darker theme in the bedroom.

What a lovely choice to have to make on a rainy blustery Tuesday morning.

  2. Choice 8 for me all the way..its perfect!

  3. Love the scene you set up, sounds REAL good! And this is a really hard decision my dear, so many pretty rooms to choose from, but if I had to go with just one it would have to be...choice 9. I love the colors, the coziness, the fireplace, the vaulted ceiling, everything about it.

  4. Choice 9 is the most amazing in my opinion! I love how dramatic the ceilings are and how cozy that fireplace is. I'm loving your picks today!!!

Hope everything is great with you, my friend.

  5. Choice 8 is very similar to my own bedroom except that my walls are a pale blue. Choice 9 is absolutely dreamy and looks so warm and cozy. And I love that heavenly bed in choice 14!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I like 8 a lot, but 15 is my clear winner!

    ReplyDelete
  7. It is 3 or 8 for me.....Love them both. I have a sore throat and your scenario sounds wonderful....and definitely imaginary :)

  8. What I would do for a day at home alone!! :)

This one was a breeze for me - #1! I don't have a canopy bed and I love the calm of the neutrals. That is a dream bedroom for me.

Now, I'm off on my typical crazy day!!!! Wish I was still in bed!

  9. I pick number 3. I love the color of the woodwork, all the cabinetry, that beautiful wallpaper and of course the window seat! Number 15 is a close second, but it is not as restful as number 3.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'd have to go with #9. Can't imagine anything cozier on a cold snowy day!

    ReplyDelete
  11. At first I was going to say #10 but then I saw the desk in front of the window and if I had a desk in my room, I'd feel guilty for not working so... #8 it is and while I love the connection to the outside, I'm not a huge fan of flat screen TV's over the fireplace!

  12. Definitely N°1!!! So beautiful!

  13. Good Morning Tina!
    What a fun visual!
I love no#1 and closely followed by no#11
They both just seem to envelope you in comfort!
    Have a great day!

  14. Tina, this is so easy for me, without hesitation I would pick # 10 for my MB. As long as we are in a "fantasy" I really like 14 and 16. I'll choose those for my guest rooms. I fell in love with 10 because I love the fireplace, cathedral ceiling the shape of the headboard on the bed and the French settee at the foot of the bed. Perfect! I'm ready for my day of bliss.........

  15. Number 1, but then I saw number 12. Love that color! Fun post.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Absolutely #1!!!!! LOVE this bedroom- so soothing and beautiful. The canopy is divine!

    ReplyDelete
  17. My most favorite is 9....so warm and cozy, just my style. 15 is a close second, but maybe a bit to big for me. What fun! Thanks for inspiring me once again.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Bedroom 8. They all have appeal but bedroom 8 feels like a comfortable and cozy room to me.
    Karen

  19. has to be number 2 for me as grey is my favourite colour

    ReplyDelete
  20. ooooh you always make this so tough!! for me it's a close competition between #1 and #8, but I think my final choice will have to be #8. I'm a sucker for blue-and-white and/or hydrangeas!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm ready to curl up under the covers of number one! I wish--too much to do today--have a great one Tina!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, I liked 3... then 11... then 13! Well, that is a real toughie!!! I might be better able to rule out some that I wouldn't want more than pick my absolute favorite! Thanks for all the views... Blessings on your day!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I think #15, followed very closely by #9. I've even pick my OWN bedroom if I could be home from work today . . . but I don't want to be home sick :0! Blessings to you!

    ReplyDelete
  24. #4 is my favorite, but 15 looks SO inviting and warm.
    Have a wonderful day, Tina.

  25. Goodness! This was hard! Every time I thought I had made a decision I would scroll down to the next shot! But after going over the whole list maybe 3 times, I have settled, quite happily, on #15!!! I might have to be sick for a whole week to make sure I fully enjoyed that space. So wonderful!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Because of the fantasy in place, and the mention of the fireplace, I'm going with 9! (However, in the Spring and Summer, I would naturally choose different!) But, 9 brings me the cozy, luxurious comfort that I need for the day you set up! Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Love these posts!!! #1 for the look and #10 for the fire and the peaked ceiling! If I have to pick then it would be #1!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ooooh I love to play this dream game!! #1 or #11, I like a simple understated elegant look. White linens are a must as well as a poufy bed!!! Simple clean and full of puffiness!! Aaaaaah! now it is time for my nap, Kathysue

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can't seem to pick one today so I will submit my favs...5, 8, 9 and 15!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Love, love, love this game! Definitely number 15 as a first choice followed by 9 and 3. What a retreat that would be on a snowy day. Would almost make having a head cold worth it! Thanks for the dreams.:)

    ReplyDelete
  31. This is sooo much fun Tina. Count me in for choice 11. LOVE IT.

  32. Hi, Tina,
    I love these three:
#1 for its beautiful cocooning be and the soft color scheme
#9 for the beautiful fireplace, four poster and architecture, especially the ceiling
    But most of all
#15 Except for a kitchen and a few tweeks like a larger scale lantern and the bed and fireplace from room 9, this room has everything I need; bookcases, a desk, fabulous beamed ceiling, fireplace with a beautiful mirror and french doors to the garden of my dreams.

    Another fun post.
    Best...Victoria

  33. I have to choose #9!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I choose # 9. Please tell me there's an oversized picture window for watching the snow fall against a backdrop of Blue Spruce and Aspen trees! Between the roaring fire and falling snow, I'm not sure I'd get much reading done :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. My favorite is #3, but I also love #8, #14. Three takes it for me because I love the storage in case I need extra blankets and that wonderful window seat in case I'm tired of sitting in bed! Aahh, I'm imaging myself their as we speak.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Room #9, please! Any room with that vaulted ceiling is always a hit with me! And if that's not available, I'll gladly accept #14...love the windows and light. The linens looks pretty scrumptuous too!
    Cheers!

    ReplyDelete
  37. By the way, I think two people picked 10 when they meant 9 according to their description. Apparently, they looked at the number below the picture rather than the one above it. Sorry, the former teacher in me needs to correct the papers.
    Thanks again for such fun.
    Victoria

  38. 1 and 4 are my favorites. I think they would both make for beautiful guest bedrooms!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oy Vey! So much coziness! #1 has been my dream bedroom for awhile, but then I see #15. Not only is #15 cozy, elegant and full of books, but it also looks like the kind of room that comes with staff. Like I could be all cozy under the covers and hit a button and summon someone to bring me chicken noodle soup, warm tea and an US Weekly. I'm going with #15 :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. That was easy - #1 for me please!! Just happy I'm not really under the weather!

    ReplyDelete
  41. #10 is my favorite! So airy, lots of natural light, perfect balance of elegant and interesting. The only thing I would change is opting for a tufted headboard in the same hue of blue.

So excited to have found your blog! (My work is not going to be happy, though.) ;)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ah....bedrooms! Once again..you've found more beautiful rooms, each one with their own style and I could be happy in any of them. I loved 1, 9, and 15, but #8 is my very favorite. It's funny how your taste changes. Years ago I would have chosen

    ReplyDelete
  43. #1 is perfect for me.
    Sky

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm going to be the outlier here and pick #16 - it would be a total departure from reality and I think that's what we're going for here right? Queen for a day? :) I love how you anticipated those things that get in the way of relaxing...like sitting down with time and interest in reading, only to not have anything waiting next to the bed! That's me right now...my book club book is in the mail from England! :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would go with 14 or 3 - both have amazing light coming through stunning windows and I love that!

    ReplyDelete
  46. As much as I love 13 and 15, the frenchier options, I would have to choose #1! I absolutely love the clean look and absence of color. Maybe because I have the French look with that French mustard going on!
Love this post- you're right, they all have something wonderful to offer!

  47. Wow - so many good choice - i just redid our bedroom and we wanted it fresh and light so my choice is 14 but 8 & 10 are close too - but if i could only choose one it would be 14. But when we were redoing our bedroom i was going after this look - http://www.houzz.com/photos/48018/baker-contemporary-bedroom-san-francisco

    ReplyDelete
  48. I love 9 or 15 My kind of bedroom!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. If it was just me on my own, as I was for many years, my choice would be the very feminine #13. But with my wonderful husband now, it would be #14, although I would like to see the rest of the room. I love the lightness and light, especially the hint of a garden beyond the french doors. We just did a major remodel of our master suite...fireplace with marble surround and wonderful bath, but I still enjoy looking at other bedrooms and finding new things to layer into our room. Thanks for sharing these marvelous rooms.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Wow - I'm surprising myself, but I would definitely choose #2 ! Beautiful !

    ReplyDelete
  51. Love the cozy-ness of choice 9...love the fireplace burning, the vaulted ceilings, the chandelier to dim...looks very inviting to me!

    ReplyDelete
  52. #15, though I do love the monochromatic scheme of #2 (but it's too hard edged for me) so #15. What a great idea, Tina. I always know I won't be disappointed when I come over for a visit. Love,
    my friend....

    ReplyDelete
  53. So many fabulous choices! 9 is definitely the winner for me...just hope it has a window so I can watch the snow falling. Hope you have a wonderful day, Tina! Valerie

    ReplyDelete
  54. Number 1 it is. Not too much, just enough luxury. I come from a long line of nappers, and this looks like a yummy spot for a nap.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Definitely #1 for my city home and #15 for my country home!jd

    ReplyDelete
  56. I would definitely choose #8. It just looks so cozy and happy at the same time. And I love the lantern.

    ReplyDelete
  57. #2! #2! ALL THE WAY!!!! It looks so calming and relaxing, kinda like my room!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Well since I *am* on the verge of being under the weather...and the real weather outside is very fallish & blustery today, I'd have to say #'s 9 & 15 for sheer coziness...for a less ensconced feel, it's #5.
Hope you're really not ill, but if you are...please feel better soon, and I look forward to your choice!
    xo J~

  59. I adore the scenario you ahve imagined for us, Tina! My first choice is #9. I love that gorgeous ceiling, the roaoring fire and am hoping it has a FABULOUS view of the snow drifting down and maybe some deer passing through! Coming in a CLOSE 2nd is # 15! How GRAND is that room!!! LOVE all the books the desk (I have always wanted a desk in my master, the deep windows and fabulous ceiling! Thanks for these gorgeous images! XO, Pinky

  60. I choose number 1 because it feels cacoony - is that a word????

    ReplyDelete
  61. 9, without a doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  62. You didn't really expect us to choose just one did you!!? It would be 3 and 9 for me. Thanks for setting such a wonderful scene... that was fun!

    Cindy

    ReplyDelete
  63. One would be all I need, close the curtains and off to dreamland, but then again I DO love a fireplace and the ease of strolling in the garden in Eight. I'd rough it any of those lovely rooms...
    Hugs~

    ReplyDelete
  64. I love both #1 and #14, but I think #1 is the winner for me!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I will take #9 please. I can just imagine curling up with a good book by the wonderful fireplace!

    Get well soon!...Janey

    ReplyDelete
  66. Oh I do love your quizes!! Okay ... #1, beautiful, relaxing. Then I saw #9 and that is IT. How warm and cozy and feels like home. That is my winner, but I have to give a round of applause to 15. I could live your scenario for a week in this gorgeous room and never have to leave!! possibly longer ;0

    ReplyDelete
  67. No. 1 for me! One of my all time favorites!

    ReplyDelete
  68. #3 with the Gracie wallpaper has your name on it.
#16 and #9 beautiful as well, but you can do Gracie on those rooms as well.

    Loved it all.
    Good luck

  69. I would chose choice 16. It has beautiful, luxurious fabrics in cool colors. The combination of whimsical and Louis XVI styles compliment each other very well.
    Great post!

    ReplyDelete
  70. No. 9 for me.
    Loved seeing all ....

    ReplyDelete
  71. #15 is my choice. I love all the books and how cozy it looks.

    ReplyDelete
  72. They are all beautiful but something about room 2 really makes me want to relax, snuggle and call it a day. Its kind of dark, sleek, and so beauitfully done. Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  73. # 15 for me! It looks so warm and inviting.

    ReplyDelete
  74. They are all so lovely.. l will pick # 1 as it has a feeling of elegance and serenity.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Shhh, I'm still living that dream fantasy you set up at the beginning....lol. Ok love this series it's fun seeing what everyone would pick. My choice....#9 followed closely by 11 and 14.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Number 1 is my fav for sure!! But back to reality and two labs who like to get in bed with us that is not an option!!! So due to that situation I love number 9. Just let me know when it is being delivered!!!!
    Great post!

    ReplyDelete
  77. First of all, feel better soon...or not if it's buys you some time off! :)

    #1 was my overall favorite
#9 if I am sick on a cold winter's day
    #14 for crisp spring-summer change

    ReplyDelete
  78. I would choose #14 but it was frustrating to have to pick just one- would love to combine some of them!

    ReplyDelete
  79. 15 please. If I remember correctly, that is a Fowler/Lancaster bedroom? Or one by another worthy and well-known designer. That room has unbeatable "bones."

    ReplyDelete
  80. I'm picky about my bedroom. Has to be non fussy easy care and comfortable. I can't be lying there in bed thinking the drapes have to cleaned and unfortunately it has to have a tv for mr. fussbudget so #8 it is. View, comfort, tv, and the wonderful overhead light.

    ReplyDelete
  81. At first I thought one but #4 just looks so comfy!!! xo

    ReplyDelete
  82. ONE and NINE are MINE!!!! HELLO THERE DEAREST! I am sooo late! Anita

    ReplyDelete
  83. No question, I love number 9! That photo has been a favorite in my inspiration file for some time.

    ReplyDelete
  84. for me it's #8 or #9- gotta have a fireplace!

    ReplyDelete
  85. LOVE how you set the scene! I pick 2 or 8 for a day like you described, but I'm partial to 7, because I have seen it in person and I adore the yellow and Palm Springs :)

    ReplyDelete
  86. # 9 is for me! They are all wonderful and I love seeing all the different styles like this.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Wonderful choices. This surprises even me, because I love color, but I select two.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I love #1 and #14. One is just beautiful and #14 is gorgeous because of the view beyond the room. Nice post!

    ReplyDelete
  89. I like number one the best with it's soft and neutral color scheme, It reminds me of one of Dana Lyon's bedrooms that you have posted before:)

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm in between number 1 & 11!!!
But my final decision goes to number 1 for the bed, and number 11 for the whole room settings. ;D

    ReplyDelete
  91. Okay, if I have to choose one, I think #9.

I can't wait to see which one you choose.

    ReplyDelete
  92. For my house I'd pick number 2 but for you I'm voting number 9. I just found you and I love your site and want your house! New follower.

    ReplyDelete
  93. #9. No, wait. #8. Okay, #9.......and then.....I saw #15 - I'm not sure how the designer made this huge room look so cozy. I love the bookcases, the tall windows, the beam and angle interest of the ceiling, and the fireplace. I adore this room

    ReplyDelete
  94. No question!!! Number 9!!! Amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Love 9 and 15 what cosy rooms to lose a day in.

    ReplyDelete
  96. #8 first, #14 runner up. I love seeing the outside from inside, so lying in bed and being able to gaze through the French doors to the garden completely does it for me :-)

    ReplyDelete
  97. I would choose 1,3,4,or 8! Lovely bedrooms! I hope you feel better soon! Just said a prayer for you Tina! xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  98. I would choose N°1! Its a perfect mix of modern, classic, clean, parisian feel.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I love when we play this game! I'd pick #14 all the way... but add a fireplace!!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Hi Tina...

Ohhh...this was fun! My first choice is #9 with #15 coming in second. Both rooms just exude warm and cozy for me...the "chateau" feel of both rooms is breathtakingly beautiful to me!

Tina, this has been so much fun! Thank you!

    Warmest autumn wishes,
    Chari

i think every option is pretty dang sweet though.
