OK, just so we are clear......I LOVE white kitchens, I want it on the record...today's post is devoted solely to the queen of kitchens, the wonderful white kitchen. And this is the mother of all white kitchens post..so hope you have a little time on your hands to take it all in! I have tried listing all my resources but some of these pictures I have had in my wish book album for a very long time, way before I knew much about blogging. My post on colored kitchens a few days ago  and kitchens other than white, was done to show how many beautiful choices there are and to exemplify that through the picture gallery...it was very well received and there is no doubt many of the kitchens shown were incredibly beautiful.  But we cannot take away from the appeal and wow factor that a white kitchen (and all the many shades of white are included here) gives to someone when they walk in a room. There is bright white, soft white, creamy white, yellow white, green white, gray white, the list goes on and on....then you sometimes see a white kitchen with a colored or stained island or hutch which is beautiful too and adds a lot of interest.....lots of choices and possibilities. So today we look at beautiful white kitchens in all their white glory. Do you have a favorite?

  1. I love the kitchens by Natan Egan, Kitchen Lab, Decorpad, James Wass Photography...they are striking, look clean, not fussy and look very functional. There were some others I like a lot too, but did not know the sources. Great post!

Too many favorites to pick one, but overall the one I can see myself having a lot of fun is the Werner Straube, its old fashioned in a way but new, just really classic.

  4. What a great post! The very minute I can convince my other half that white kitchens aren't bad (can you imagine someone being averse to a white kitchen? Sigh...the battles I fight) our cabinets will be painted and glazed. I am in love with that curved seating near the top.

As you know, I follow you religiously, so does that mean I'm entered for the lamps? I have just the spot for them...

  5. I love painted kitchen cabinets and white in particular. I often use an island in a different finish, so I am glad to see some great examples of that.

  6. They are all gorgeous - it was really difficult to pick a favorite. Some things I loved were the use of a lot of glass cabinet doors; I loved the Thornton Designs one, with that lovely banquette setting in blue; I also loved the Morgan Creek and Lauren Rubenstein kitchens.

My two "favorites" were the ones that featured blue & white porcelain - the Julie Lloyd one, and then the Smallbox one - stunning!

Those lamps are gorgeous! You are so generous with your giveaways, Tina!

  7. What a fabulous post! Especially when one is trying to decide between a dark, rich kitchen or a sunny, cheery white kitchen! My son just re-did their kitchen in white with slate blue cabinets and I love it!! His wife will be so surprised if she ever makes it back from Italy! What a fun surprise to come home to! Great giveaway as well! May have to start doing that from my shop! Would be a fun way to advertise! Thanks again!

  8. Lot's of pretty white kitchens, but hands down my favorite is the one with the amazing wood island that look like a piece of furniture. Not only is the island/table amazing the rock around the hood and the stained wood door add some much needed warmth to the kitchen. My next favorite would have to be the kitchen with the antique dining table in the middle with the tulips. i think that's Suzanne Kasler? Scrolling through all of the white kitchens confirms my interest in color. As pretty as they are they just all look alike.

  13. Hard choice, but I love the first selection by Habersham - beautiful and just enough color to take away from the starkness of a too-white kitchen.
What a fabulous giveaway. I would love to enter, but since I live in Paris I may not be eligible, but have a lovely blogger friend I would pass it on to.
Can't wait to see your final choice!

  25. Every time I would see a picture in this post, I would say to myself, "that has to be my favorite." and then I would come to the next picture and say the same thing. All of the images are beautiful, and while your post "6 degrees of seperation from a white kitchen" a few days ago had me rethinking my plan to do a white kitchen in my next house, but this post reaffirmed my love for them!
P.S.- are you using an interior designer in the new home?

  31. Oh...I went to Swank Lighting and there were many lamps I loved there especially the turquoise ones. And there were lamps made from raw crystal that I was over the moon about. I'm a follower so enter me in the drawing.

  32. WOW!!!!!! That's all I can say right now, Tina. You really outdid yourself this time! And, what a most generous giveaway! There's something about every one of the kitchens that I like, and thus I can't choose just one as my favorite. I did realize while looking at the photos that I'm especially drawn to those with a chandelier, lots of natural light/windows, thick countertops, cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling, and at least the base of the island in a different color or material from the other wood in the room. Two that do stick out in my mind are the Clive Christian kitchen (no surprise there) and the "one that's been around the block". Gorgeous!
