I cannot tell you how touched I was by all of the comments regarding my empty nester post yesterday and all the emails I received too...not only did you offer such amazing and encouraging advice but honestly the kindness bestowed upon me brought tears to my eyes, thanks to you I am now feeling a wee bit more optimist about my soon to be empty nester status:) Whether you are an empty nester, soon to be one, or still have little ones at home.....reading over the comments is heartwarming and if you have an extra few minutes, I really encourage you to do so (click here). They would make a wonderful book! Thank you, I know I will refer back to it time and time again:)
So imagine this, the furniture fairy has paid you a visit...she is going to grant you with one wave of her wand a brand new fully done up living room! So imagine for a minute, one of these gets to be yours...which would it be? I set it up poll style...and since there are so many pretties, you can vote for two, so think hard:)

ReplyDeleteHands down! I love number 3 and 7!!
ReplyDeleteThis really makes me want to finish my living room, we are finally almost done. These are so beautiful and inspirational. My favorites have to be 2 and 16 though, dreamy! Sorry about that miserable weather, not to rub it in but today its 78 and sunny:-)
ReplyDeleteLOVED your post yesterday, Tina it was so touching and you are a great mom.
But Nos 3 and 7 are the same photo! That's got to be one of my favorites. The second one is trickier. Too many great ones to choose from.
ReplyDelete16 or 1 are my dream living room...but honestly they are all so incredibly beautiful. Hope you get some better weather soon.
ReplyDeleteI live in a formal home and my taste has changes so much! I love number one! This is so much fun! Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I love them all!!! I chose #2 and #15. I want them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! I am the elegant type, so I do love what I chose, I will probably be bored with something PRISTIN WHITE ONLY,LOL!
ReplyDeleteThank you sweet Tina...actually, I love your taste and house, I'll be just fine there...hehehehehhhheee
FABBY
Wouldn't it be awesome if it were this easy to get a new living room? Furniture Fairy where are you????
ReplyDeleteWow I haven't seen so many gorgeous living rooms in one place ever! You know how to pick them, they are all stunning but i finally decided on two favorites! I need that fairy!
ReplyDeleteAll gorgeous, but we have beams similar to 1 so that's my choice.
ReplyDeleteOH that number 1!! I just love it, but I also really am drawn to number 3 as well. Beautiful choices because of your great taste!!
ReplyDeleteNos. 6 and 14...Loooove William Eubanks, one of my favorite deisgners! Carol P.
ReplyDeleteI love #'s 4, 12, and 15 best (voted for 12 and 15), but would take just about any of them. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI like numbers 1 and 3 the best. Number 11 is perhaps my runner up.
ReplyDeleteThey were all so beautiful -- 1 and 4 were my favorites with 10 and 15 close behind. Great variety! I want a furniture fairy! Anyone?
ReplyDeleteAwe that was fun to vote. A person can dream cant they?
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteI wrote you a long e-mail asking if I could be a sponsor (with regard to my extensive home renovation) and didn't hear back from you (yet). Is there something else I should be doing?
Thanks:)
I love #2 and #16...but they are all gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI just ventured out to get the mail here - it feels like we are living in the arctic! Have a great night! xoxo
I think number 2 is the most elegant, but I love the light and the French doors opening out into the garden in number 15.
ReplyDeleteI came to vote for 1 or 9 then fell for 4
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rooms Tina!
ReplyDeleteSorry about all this weather you're having.. enough is enough, right? Hopefully you have something fun planned for the weeks end.
This will make me sound like the wierdest person on earth, but SEND ME YOUR SNOW AND COLD!! I need it, I love it, I crave it.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Texas. Grrrrr
I live for winter and get so envious when you speak of cold and snow. Guess the grass is always greener, yes?
My choices: 2 and 3. Wait...What about 10? So difficult!
As an Aussie, I have not ever really lived in snow and ice zones but being in yet another heatwave this summer, I am very ready to give the snow a go. My best year was one where we spent our summer in Europe and so had only winters for a while.
ReplyDeletei definitely bookmark your post and will give links to my friends as we all are a great lovers of blogs and always ready to read interesting and informative blogs.

Oh so many beautiful choices! Thank you for always bringing so much great inspiration. My favorites are #1 and #9. Have a fabulous remaining week!
ReplyDeleteI am curious to see the end results. Many voters chose the #1 and #3 - which seem a bit different in style.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this was much fun. You stay warm and positive!
Greetings,
Carpet Cleaner London
I made my votes! HI TINA! I hope you are all OK out there....we too are buried and freezing to the bone....be well dear. Anita
ReplyDeleteI vote #1. I get happy looking at it. Soon the weather will change for N.Y. Meanwhile, my family is so excited it's been in the 50's and we get to wear sweaters here in California.
ReplyDeleteBusiness Phone Service and Virtual Office Service.... These features give your business the benefit of an enterprise phone system for a fraction of the cost.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - love 2 and 11 - one a little more formal one a little more relaxed...so pretty!! Think we may see a touch of sunshine total, but oh dying for spring!!!
ReplyDeleteLove 11 and 16! This is inspiring me, Tina. Our living room needs an update. Happy Thursday and hope you are staying warm. XO
ReplyDeleteSo much living room beauty here. I recently painted my living room and hate the color so while my husband is away on business next week someone is coming to redo it! I love the feeling of 16, it is so peaceful and soft, a great inspirational picture for the look I am after. Love your blog and really enjoyed your post yesterday, am a long ways away from being in your stage but feel your pain, hang in there Tina, I think your talents are going to keep you quite busy in the best way possible!
ReplyDeleteI went for Choice 3 - it just feels the most homely to me. The colours are actually really close to what I already have in my living room! Choice 7 is really good too - the sofa looks so comfy
