I equate chic summer dressing with the color white (and all its many shades). This week we are going to a fundraiser where none other than the talented Kelly Clarkson is performing and I was thinking it is the perfect excuse to go and get a new summer dress...and of course white is what came immediately to mind!
So.....today's post is all about white dresses. I love so many here, actually all of them so it is very hard for me to narrow it down to a few much less just one! I feel white in the summer against golden skin is always so elegant and crisp looking. How about you? Does white always seem right to you too?

I am so sorry...I know I made this very difficult. As I always do I will get the comments started with one of my own, and trust me this comment involved many trips back to look at all these dresses,there were so many to love but admittedly there were two that totally "wowed" me from the start. How would you accessorize the white dress you chooses? Jewelry? Shoes? Bag? Come on...you know I love details:)

ReplyDeleteI also love 1, 7 for my outing (both look flattering) and 9 (more of a day dress but so chic) . I own 13.....all so pretty. I love white with a strappy sandal and simple gold jewelry, maybe a great clutch (though I normally don't use them) maybe I should start :)

ReplyDeleteSo it would be number 15 for me, I like the straight line and the little slit gives it some attitude! I like how its shown but I would add a pretty cuff and a pair of earrings. Beautiful choices.

ReplyDeleteHi, saw Kelly Clarkson a few years ago, she is a great entertainer and a fantastic voice. She is so natural and really down to earth, it was one of the better concerts I have attended, so enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love so many here, I honestly lost count. I think it boils down to going with your body and seeing what is most flattering. For me straighter styles that do not accentuate my bust work best. Have fun and have a great day.

ReplyDeleteI love #3, so summery and no accessories needed because that dress has enough detailing. But my choice would be the Alexander Wang. To accessorize with a little bit of "wow" factor, I would put a pretty pearl and crystal brooch right at the waiste where the draping band is. A pair of beautiful pearl and diamond earrings and small white clutch. Whatever you choose, I am sure you will look stunning!

But I think you have to go with the one that looks the best on your body.
Choose 1 or16. With 1 wear smashing earrings- possibly gold and stone, a simple clutch and strappy heels. If you like 9 just loose the huge bag and it won't look too daytime! Have a wonderful time.

9 , 10 , 11 are fantastic! ( infact this is a real hard assignment!!!) A few good pieces of REAL gold jewelry are all you need! great Gold shoe are a must!! a small White or Gold bag is enough! ReplyDeleteChoice 3 hands down. I would wear it with a beautiful pair of nude strappy sandals, my nude/tan Chanel classic bag, a simple pair of diamond hoops and maybe a pretty delicate bracelet. Perfection!
ReplyDeleteLOVE #3!!! I particularly love the detailing on this dress and the way the skirt has "tucks" in the fabric (can't think of the word I am looking for). White dresses are so classy but I am too fair to pull off a white or cream colored dress....unless I go heavy on the make up, I just disappear in them. All of them are fabulous!

Love seeing everyone dressed in white with all white decor. I'll pair mine with my diamond oops and a great pair of Miu Miu sandals I've had for years.
