Which would you choose?
Hi there! How is your week going? Mine is super busy, chock full and I suspect its not going to let up until the holidays have come and gone. Things are starting to calm down in terms of everything storm related and I have been working around the clock to catch up. I am not going to complain one bit however, given the chaos of the last 2 weeks. My heart and prayers go out to the many (yes as hard as that is to believe) who STILL have no power, have lost homes, all they had. Hope you will keep them all in your prayers, life really is precious.
Today's which would you choose is all about beautifully decorated front doors for Christmas! Yes..that's right, Christmas! Its not so far away. So many ways to go........ pull out all the stops and go all the way, an ode to old fashioned Christmas decorating or maybe a more subtle approach is your choice. Which of these beautiful and festive doorways calls your name? I can't wait to see who ends up taking first place. I have my eye on a few and have gotten some much needed inspiration for my own front door! Here we go.....

I have narrowed it down to two....but truth be told, I think all of them are quite beautiful in their own unique way. Look forward to hearing which you choose...and remember today is the last day to be eligible for my pewter napkin ring giveaway! Click here to visit, and enter! Wishing you a fabulous day.
Oh,number one, for sure!!!!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteChoice 4 for me, love black doors, and simple greenery works everytime plus their dog looks our ours, Candy. All are beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteWhile they are all very pretty, I love 8, the stone, the decor is festive but elegant. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThis was so much fun! Love #12 but #1 is a close second.
ReplyDeleteThat's not fair, making us choose! I love them all...but if the dog comes with number four, I'll take it!

Oh dear, I was going to choose the one with TEDDY'S double, but I have to go with number 8. I am a sucker for stone entrances!
ReplyDeleteMORNING DEAREST! Anita
Impossible to pick just one - loving 5,6, and 9!!! They are simple and fresh. Very lovely. M.
ReplyDeleteOmyword! I was gonna say #1 for surrrrrrrrre. Love the rustic feel! But, then I saw #11, and fell in love again with that door and those skates! Tie?
ReplyDeleteNumber 8 for me. Very charming!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina - I am cold just looking at this! The storm has definitely set my calendar off - somehow it still seems like mid-October to me since we never had Halloween! I must, must, must start thinking holidays. Your doors helped put me in the mood. My choice would be number 6.
ReplyDeletexoxoxo
Door #1 is hard to beat. It's so classic!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely...but 3 and 5 are more my style. Can't wait to get in the swing of decorating for Christmas...I may even do it earlier this year!
ReplyDeletenumber 10
ReplyDeleteWe are already in full swing of decorating client's homes for the holidays and loving it! My choice is #9, but all are so pretty. Just depends on the style of the home. Susan@Romancing the Home
ReplyDeleteAlthough it was a tough decision, I picked Choice No. 6. I don't think I need to look elsewhere for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with #1 or #12...all so pretty.
ReplyDeleteTough decision but overall No. 6, great inspirations.. JILL
ReplyDeleteLove them all..but choise 8 it's so elegant and classic, I love it. Very hard to choose one, though.

Ooooh number 1, 4 and 12 - in that order. These are fun!

ReplyDeleteHands down Number 9...
ReplyDelete#3 looks like a traditional cheerful Christmas! And, #8 is definitely the enchanted side of me!
ReplyDeleteNumber 9 says...WELCOME!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun posts!

I love 10 and 12, respectively. Number 10 just needs a little snow! Actually they are all beautifully done.
ReplyDeletePatricia
Tough to choose, but I think I like 4 best, and not jut because of the adorable dog! Love the door color, and the simplicity. So pretty. We're hosting a dinner party tonight, then I'm helping my Mom with Thanksgiving, so I'm still focused on fall-ish decor, but really looking forward to thinking about Christmas! Happy Thursday, Tina! XO
ReplyDeleteI'm going with number nine although it was a hard choice! Stop by I added your pheasant tabletop birds to my Thanksgiving tabletop post!

Oh these are beautiful. It's a hard choice between 5 & 8 but I'd say 5 is my winner. Can't wait to get started on my Christmas decorating after Thanksgiving! I usually get started on the weekend after everyone is gone and we're eating turkey leftovers....:)
ReplyDeleteI love them all, Barbara but Number 8 is spectacular. The architecture of the home lends itself beautiful to the design of that wreath. Very inspiring
ReplyDeleteOoops, sorry, Tina. I've been looking at blogs all morning and I thought I was on Haus Design, lol. Beautifully done.
DeleteNumber 1 it is! Traditional, a little rustic.. it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely but # 6 and #8 are my two favorites.
ReplyDelete# 8 is my favourite!
ReplyDelete#3. But there are other lovelies too.
ReplyDelete#8 is the winner for me.
ReplyDeleteBut there are just so many pretty ones...all different moods and designs. Very difficult to choose just one.
Thanks
#14...love the pop of classic red...makes a bold and beautiful statement...

ReplyDeleteOk I am going a little off kilter. I am going with a mash up of the garlands and wreath from number 6 and putting them on the door of 12. I love the Dickensian feeling of the entry but it is a little plain - it needs drapey garlands and bows. GORGEOUS doors - makes me want to go and take down my Thanksgiving garlands and wreath. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Tina, I chose number 3, because that red door is just too fascinating!
ReplyDeleteCan't believe holiday is just around the corner...

Number 9, then 11 and then 12. They would all suit me. What a fun lineup to choose from. Which are you going to choose to dress your gorgeous new home?
ReplyDeleteNumber 3 because there is snow everywhere. I am leaving Colorado and moving to Texas. How I will miss my white Christmases!!
ReplyDeleteNumber 10 was magical. You can never go wrong with fairy lights.
I'm sooo excited about Christmas...for some reason I never get stressed....I adore everything about it and wish the holidays would last longer.
Can't wait to see what you do with your front door this year, Tina.
Gosh, you made this one hard! I'll go with #3, just so cozy and pretty and elegant all at once. A very close runner-up is #14, a completely different style from #3, but such a classic look.
ReplyDelete#4 for me!! I actually did that very thing one year on my door. Simple but a little bit different! So many fun choices, but you know me, I tend to go the more simplified look!
ReplyDeleteFun post Tina!
xo Kathysue
PS When you get a chance stop by my blog today and read about how I met Ina Garten!! So fun and exciting!!
Choice 3 hands down. I say that because I actually cut that photograph out of the Pottery Barn catalog for inspiration. Glad to hear everythings going better your way Tina! Have a great day. - Tonya
ReplyDeleteI definitely love real Christmasy decorations so No.3 gets my vote. Betty from Ontario,Canada
ReplyDeleteI like #4, then 11 and 15. Love the blue door on 4 and the rustic feel from the others.

I think I choose number 4 because it is a little different AND that cute dog is a great accessory! I have also been in love with the Pottery Barn since day one!

#8 looks like england... lots of great ones
ReplyDeleteFirstly I absolutely adore your beautiful festive header with all those gorgeous Christmas images. Makes me wistful for a wintery Christmas with snow and chestnuts. Oh well, a hot summery one with a seafood bbq and swimming will have to do! I found it impossible to decide on these front door decorations. They are all glorious, romantic, evocative and make me feel quiet nostalgic for some reason. Our decs in Australia are quite different because of the climate, but I do love these. Hard to pick, but I love 7.
ReplyDelete#8. I love that swag and would use a MUCH prettier and lush wreath with it too.
ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful. How do I decide! Well I closed my eyes and envisioned how I want my own front door to look, and I came up with choice 9. I love the idea of the apples, and I think the black is really eye catching and very old world looking. I got some really great ideas here, we are having a Christmas eve party for nearly 100 so I have a lot of work to do!
ReplyDeletedefinitely 1. I have loved those doors for at least a year.. I LOVE THEM!!! ONE ONE ONE!!!
ReplyDeleteJan
Me, too! I love #1! All of the doors are beautiful! So glad to "meet" you! XO, Aimee
ReplyDeleteI would choose Pottery Barn for my house, but for yours, I would choose between 6, 8 and 9. Your house is just gorgeous and I want to come and stay in your “special” guest room…ha!
ReplyDeleteNumbers 6,7, 8 and 12 are nice.
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun!!! Love #6 and #8...It was hard but #6 really speaks to me!
ReplyDeleteIt's 1 or 9 for me, Tina. Maybe a combination of the two. Hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difficult decision. I am torn between #3 an #4. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be number 7!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like a beautifully dressed Christmas door to welcome guests! It would be #5 or #6 for me. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteomg, #10, tina.
ReplyDeletethese images are droolworthy.

No 12... at no 10! xv
ReplyDeleteTina, you know these stress me out. I can never decide because there are always way too many beautiful options! I just found these monogrammed initials that you can place in a wreath - gorgeous. I am always a sucker for a gorgeous entry!!! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI will choose #6 hands down! GORGEOUS!!!!
ReplyDeleteChoice # 7, would love to have a white Christmas and snow at my front entrance:)
ReplyDeleteI'm a #7, love the simplicity.
ReplyDelete# 5 has been in my files forever! That door kills me!
ReplyDelete#4 is my favorites! But i really like them all you can't go wrong with any of them!
ReplyDeleteI love Door No. 10 with all the pretty lights. I think that if I were to open that door, i would find a lovely home filled with laughter and joy!
ReplyDeleteI love Door No. 10 with all the pretty lights. I think that if I were to open that door, i would find a lovely home filled with laughter and joy!
ReplyDeleteI like the looks of #3, #9 and #11, lots of unique ideas
ReplyDeleteI like 1, 11 & 15.... They remind me to how Christmas used to look like a long time ago, when things were simple and you used things from nature around you. Makes me want to curl up by a fire and make presents and decorations with my family.
