Which would you choose?

Good morning, I am not featuring my normal Thursday post today for a few reasons. First I am a little off schedule with having done a few different guests posts this week, so instead of my normal Things I am loving Thursdays running today, it  will be on Saturday. Second reason, I have had a crazy busy week and the weather has been horrid, and I have not been able to get over and take decent pics and obviously when I share with you, I want to make sure its something worthy! So, hopefully you will feel it was worth the two day delay!! So I will be here on Sat. with a house updates and Things I am loving posts. Today though is this weeks Which would you choose......

OK, so finally we are at the tail end of that successful, tapas dinner party you threw for your circle of friends and family, the fabulous food was served, endless rounds of drinks enjoyed alfresco, movie and popcorn devoured in the theater, you have changed into your snuggly PJ's in your dream closet but now you have just learned that one of your guests car is not starting and has to spend the night!  Not to worry you have a wonderful guest room made up and are happy to put them up for the night. In fact you are secretly delighted as you just finished redoing it and  have been dying to "christen it" with its first guest!  You usher your friends to your guest room while quickly making sure there are fresh towels and water bottles placed near the bedside. When you think of being a guest, what makes up an ideal guest room to you? For me, a sumptuous room, dreamy linens, bedside lighting, a good soft down pillow, nice lighting but ones with the ability to totally shut out the light for a late sleep in if I so choose is quite nice, room service and breakfast in bed, a few chocolates under my pillow (with nuts and caramels  while you are at it, make it an even half dozen just in case I get hungry at night  and a certain coziness that prevails makes up a perfect guest room. So you know the drill, you need to choose the guest room for your guest to spend the night in. Lets see which you choose! Not a bad one in the bunch in my eyes...lets see what you think!

Forewarning- This post might induce TGS (The Goldilocks syndrome) Signs are a sudden desire to want to try out all the beds) Don't worry I got it too and its infectious!

  1. Tina if i were a guest in any of these they might have a hard time kicking me out! I love your ideas especially the crossed out ones.
OK, for me I can't narrow it to one but its a dead even tie between 2, 1 and 16. They are both really pretty and yet extremely inviting.
    Lovely.

  2. I loved them all, but #8 wins my vote because of the fireplace. Love that feature in a bedroom.

  3. Thank goodness I've been up and awake for a while otherwise I might have wanted to head back to bed, beautiful rooms!

    My pick #8

    ReplyDelete
  4. Choice 11 for me. I love the eclectic mix of colors those wonderful panels, the way it cocoons you. A close second would have been 15, very handsome and elegant room too.

    Can't wait till Sat!

  6. I always get stumped on these but this one was a no-brainer for me. Totally #4 mainly because I love the chandelier and the bed looks sooooo comfy!!! xo

  7. This was a hard one. I loved #5, but @1-#10-16
would be just fine, They are all beautifully done. Sixteen had that fluffy comforter, and
it's snowing this morning, I may get back under mine. Merry Christmas
    Beautiful post and very clever.

  8. LOVE #4 but 1, 12 and 14 are not too 'shabby' either!! I'd be thrilled to stay in any of these!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oh such beautiful rooms! I personally love the look and style of no.3 but for a guest I think no.14 would excellent!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi Tina, I can honestly say that any of these gorgeous rooms will do… But If I really had to choose, it would be a toss up between #8 and #13.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Choice 10 for me, I love the muted elegance and the magnificent windows!

Choice 12 is a close second for its perfect, beautiful symmetry.

    ReplyDelete
  12. No. 10 is my favorite. I also like choice No. 3 except that I don't like heavy and fragile items right above my head. It could easily fall, not very conducive to a restful night of sleep.

  13. I LOVE having my morning coffee each morning with The Enchanted Home!

Thank you so much for all the beautiful rooms to daydream about today! If I have to choose - I would pick the fluffiest bed (which is No. 16 to me!)

Talk about karma - my post today is Prepare your Guest Room... Aren't we all getting ready for Holiday guests?

Again, Thank you The Enchanted Home

  15. Choice 8 for the fireplace and all of the beautiful details! Tina, I was so happy to see that today's post provided you with inspiration for your dressing room! That one is my favorites also - I love how the feminine details reflect off of that surface...so I hope it works out! I'd love to hear what you learn from your contractors for possibilities!

Tina, I would want to give the guest plenty of room to move about without stumbling into anything in the middle of the night etc and wonderful light in the morning - my first pick would be #10, the second would be #16 followed by #4 ( #13 is lovely as well, but that big foot would have to go- lol)

    ReplyDelete
  20. There are so many that I liked, but I LOVED #16!

    ReplyDelete
  21. oh honey, i forecast the sweetest dreams in choice 10. it is where i would feel most at rest. but i would not mind resting my noggin in any of your glorious bedrooms spotlighted!

reality check: my house is a wreck and i am on the laptop. hmmmm.

  22. All of these bedrooms are absolutely gorgeous but my choice would be #3. The rest look too "done", like they are just for show and no one should actually sleep in there. #3 speaks welcoming and comfort. I love, love, love that four poster bed. Just my opinion.

  24. Such a hard choice TOO many favourites, 4, 10 13, 16 have all won my heart.

  25. 10 and 13. I have a fireplace in my real bedroom: wonderful...so I would have to add that to these rooms. Thanks for the beautiful choices.

    ReplyDelete
  26. 6 is my favourite, with 8's fireplace added in. Of all the choices, I like 6, 8, 10, 15 and 16.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I choose #2 because the beautiful lilac color won my heart!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hmmmm, these are all gorgeous- a tough decision! I will narrow it down to 16 and 17 as they embody my love of soft, soothing neutrals, and my final pick would be 17! Have a fabulous day!

    ReplyDelete
  29. No.16. Soothing, tranquil, nothing hanging over my head, ever! Only dreams. :) Might add a soft fur throw nearby. Thinking on good things, have a wonderful day!

  30. Good morning Tina!,
Once again, I would close my eyes and be happy choosing number 4, 10 or 14. They all look like a wonderful place to stumble upon after a wonderful evening!

  31. No. 4 but with a white fur throw and No 8.

  32. Oh its like being a kid again in a candy store browsing the rows and rows
of selections' to pick from. I thought choice # 3 was Gorgeous with those
big posts, not some much the color yellow tho ,maybe a cream color.
And my second choice #10 Oh my Goose this room screams Elegant,
Sumptuous , this room is definitely that special person Moi, just kidding.

    Karen

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hello! Thanks again for the lovely 'BIO party' the other night! xx

Without a doubt I would go for room no 13. I love the decor and the fact that the room has a large wall spanning book case full of yummy books (I LOVE books!) and French doors that can be left open as we sleep, AND allow me to go outside.
The room is cozy, neat and inviting. Perfect!

Lots of love and happy end-of-the-week darling.

    xx Charlotta

  40. Number 8 and Number 14 are in a dead heat for me. 1 with the fireplace and 1 with a pool. Perfect would be dip in the pool and coming into private bedroom and sit in front of a warm and cozy fireplace.

  41. Hi Tina,

I'm loving all the tufted headboards. The only thing I worry about is that they will be hard to keep clean. I am totally drawn to #4 and #16. I guess I would choose #16.

    Have a great day!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. My choice is #1.. but I would put the dog bed in from bedroom #5, the fireplace from #6, the beveled glass windown from #10, the library worth of books from #13 and the comforter from #16 into bedroom #1 to make it perfect! snicker snicker....

    ReplyDelete
  43. I chose #3 or #6, but I love them all!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Put me in #1 and you will never ever hear a peep, total guest room of my dreams!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I adore #10 by Sheril Canet. And thank you so much Tina for adding the source/designer name to your pics!
    Have a lovely day!

  46. Aha, the tough choices are back once again! I'll go with #10 and #14, lots to like with plenty of 'comfort zone' appeal, while also welcoming with a touch of whimsy.

    Sending you a smile!

  51. I had #1 as a Monday Mood and still love it - though #11 and #12 come in close second... something about the symmetry is so soothing!
    xxoo

    ReplyDelete
  52. #10 for me please!! So elegant, love the soothing color scheme, mirrored furniture and beautiful windows!

    ReplyDelete
  53. One, three and seven if I may!
    Hugs~

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hey Tina, you always make this so hard! But today it came down to 6 and 12. 6 looks so cozy and I could see it being on a 2nd or 3rd floor and being a darker cozy kind of room, with soft lighting, just perfect for feeling like a pampered guest. Would love however to be a guest in any one of these spectacular bedrooms! But for today I will go with 6.

    ReplyDelete
  55. ELEVEN!! I have loved this bedroom for oh so long. I want to sleep there.

    ReplyDelete
  56. What I really want is the Winter White canopy from your previous post! In lieu of that I'll choose # 16 for it's plump & inviting bed linens, large bedside tables, and soothing neutral palette - all around nice guest room.

    ReplyDelete
  57. i think #3, #5, #6 in that order.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Oh my goodness, I think that when I was here earlier, I forgot to VOTE! CHOICE TEN, PLEASE! Oh Tina, you are just the most wonderful dear. Your comments really do mean a lot to me for you know, I want to write. But the funny thing is that I AM WRITING. I have lofty dreams of being a writer and artist, but each day holds promise, and every action we take takes us one step further, as YOU KNOW! Thank you de tout mon coeur!!! And may each day bring you closer to cozying up in your new ABODE...we are just thrilled that you have taken us with you on this journey of dreaming and making it all come true.

    HUGS TO YOU, Anita

  59. I could curl up in any one of those rooms, but I'm going with #15. I'll be redoing my guest room after the holidays, and that has the feel I am going for.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Tina,

Love them all but did force myself to narrow it down to #10 and #13. Great array here and all are lovely enough to use as a model for anyone needing inspiration.

Stay warm, cozy and happy...all is well.

  61. Wow! So hard to choose just one. Number 10 is my first choice; there's something so soothing yet elegant about this space. Then, #13 and #15 are close second and third choices.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I'm a Gemini so I'm choosing 10 and 13.

    ReplyDelete
  63. No 13 please. It looks so cozy, and in the morning one could have breakfast on the terrace (or is it a conservatory) lol !!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I'd choose 3,5,7, or 16.

    ReplyDelete
  65. This is a hard decision! I love number 10, but I would love number 8 too....but 10...oh, can't I have them both! :)

    ReplyDelete
  66. Oh my goodness, I just found your blog and it's absolutely beautiful. <3 your newest follower, Marina @ http://www.yummymummykitchen.com

  67. Wowsers Girl...you have quite the selection! Since I am a simple kind of girl and don't 'do' florals and things that look busy, but DO LOVE a fluffy bed, #'s 4, 8, 13 and 16 are my faves! Oh yes, I love chocolates under the pillow, the fire lit and the electric blanket pre-warmed just in case you were wondering! hehe

The weather outside is frightful.... arrrgggghhhh.

    xo

  68. Tina, So many wonderful images. I really could take them all, but I would have to pick #9 and #13. After running around today I would like to get right into bed and go to sleep.

    ReplyDelete
  69. OK I am like you Tina, chocolates under the pillow, room service, breakfast in bed...sounds just perfect. And if I could have all that in one of these yummy rooms, even better.
My absolute fave here is 16, I wavered between 6 too but going with 16, love the soft neutral colors and plumpness of the bed, its perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hello Tina,

I cannot make a decision, I love them all. I could use a cup of cocoa to go along with my chocolates on the pillow.

I hope that everything is on schedule, are you getting excited or is there simply too much to do?

Thank you for your comments, Paris was fabulous!!! We had such a great time visiting friends, museums, eating(lots of eclairs, crepes, and hot chocolate), shopping and seeing everything. I love it at Christmas time.

I am so excited to see the house updates on Saturday!!!

    Have a great night, Elizabeth

  73. l fell in love with #10, followed by #13. Each week l find the choice incredibly difficult. You pick such dreamy rooms Tina

    ReplyDelete
  74. I love the coziness of # 6. A close second choice is # 10. Love the windows in that room! BTW.. Ashely Goforth of # 16 is my niece's decorator!

    ReplyDelete
  75. love #8 - first choice
    #3 - second choice
    #5 - third choice

    ReplyDelete
  76. I really like all, but mostly ninth bedroom, I love simple and even rustic style. But for patterns I would chose a more subtle colors.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Hmmm, since I am coveting a grey bedroom it would have to be 4 or 10? Can't I split the week in half? :)

    ReplyDelete
  78. Choice 13! Love the simplicity! I wouldn't want to have the walls painted black though! I love how the room opens out to a little patio/ balcony.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Choice 8 looks heavenly and serene. But then again choice 6, the bed looks so fluffy, like you would sink right in, just like I like it! I'm going to stick with 8 though!

    ReplyDelete
  80. 14 please. Some of the others really spoke to me, but I don't want my guest room to be too nice, because I love guests, but I also love when they leave and some of those rooms are so nice I feel like they'd never go home.

    ReplyDelete
  81. They are all gorgeous, and I like several for different reasons, but that bed in number 4 is unlike anything I have ever seen. It reminds me of a ballgown and I WANT it!!! xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'd have to go with #8. Although that transom window in #10 is STUNNING!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I am not sure I could choose. They are all beautiful. I did find myself wanting to change just one thing about most of them though. For example, I LOVE #10 but I think it would bother me to have a window behind and above my bed (even though it has a window covering). I loved the cocoon like feeling of 13 but it looks a little too small. I really like 4, 8 and 16 too. I simply cannot choose.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Oh I am so late but I love 4, 9 and my fist choice is 13. All lovely Tina, hard to decide.
Hope you have a great weekend.

  85. Man! This is a tough one, I love many of them, but for different reasons, to name a few:
3--love the combination of blue and sunny yellow
    8--love the sleek white
13--I don't love the walls, but am a huge fan of everything else in that room!

    ReplyDelete
  86. 1, 6, and 16. Love them!

    ReplyDelete
  87. I would say #3 is cheerful and #13 looks restful. Love them all though!
