OK......what girl doesn't dream of a major serious "boutique like" walk in closet, the kind you could get lost in, the kind every pair of shoes lusts after, every dress fantasizes to be hung in, the kind every blouse wants as its final resting place....yes we all want and dream over a crazy gorgeous closet.
So, your wonderful dinner has finally ended, all that prepping in that gorgeous kitchen, the cocktails in your beautiful living room, the fabulous dinner in your elegant dining room, the way the party continued onto the terrace and then finally the crowning touch, the movie and popcorn down in the theater. What a night it was! But you cannot wait to finally change into your favorite pj's!! Its off to your closet to finally kick off those shoes and slip into something cotton and comfortable....so time to escape and get lost in your closet aka refuge. Time to choose, you guessed it, a closet. But not any closet. Feast your eyes on these beauties....hey if you are going to dream, might as well go all the way, right? Pick a favorite and let me know which you pick...cannot wait to see which comes out on top!

So which is it for you, the smaller and cozier one or the full blown mega "boutique like" closets? Can't wait to find out! Hoping you have an awesome day and aren't working too hard with your Thanksgiving preparations!! I for one, am looking forward to my most favorite meal of the year :)

I would choose #13, just for the storage. There were so may others that I loved for the beauty, but a closet should ultimately be practical. Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Kim
I always get stressed over these because I want them all... I feel so greedy. This one is tough, I honestly can't choose... loving #1, 8, 15, 14...they are all fabulous. Hope your week is going well Tina. xo
ReplyDelete5 for me and with a little side of 6.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say choice #13! Love how organized it is and cozy. Although, It would be nice if it had a small sofa to sit on while pondering all the choices I have to wear for the day. :) Ohhhhh I can't wait to eat, too! Love Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteMega closet #1 is my choice big without being to big and I love those cabinets!
ReplyDelete10 ALL THE WAY...DREAM CLOSET.
ReplyDeleteTINA LOVE YOU AND SO RSPECT HOW YOU HANDLED YOUR WHOLE MESS. GOOD RIDDENS TO THE WITCH!
#1 for me. Love that the room functions as a vanity or even a personal office as well as a closet and visually that all is put away behind doors.
ReplyDeleteFirst and foremost.... I am thrilled to hear that you have begun the packing... not an easy ordeal! But what a thrill!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for dream closets... If I had number 6.... I might never come out.. as the saying goes! ;)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
No 16 for me!!!! Will show it to hubby tomorrow! LOL! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Tina, am excited to hear of your immenent move. How very, very exciting!!!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes x KL
6 with an island!
ReplyDelete17 and 12 for me - a closet is the perfect place for a little whimsy and fun - both those have that and are stunning too!
ReplyDeleteGosh... I love this series but I always can't really decide! This is too much! I love them all! :-) But I think my favorite would be #15... but I cannot forget the #1! :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, Tina!
xo

PS: I'm so happy you're packing... how exciting!!!!!
I paused at #9 - that is how many shoes I could maybe have in my next life (and not counting this life where I collect/hord shoes and cant throw them out!) But #10! SOmething caught in my throat! Imagining myself walking in that closet, my clothing behind closet doors.... That's the ONE!
ReplyDeleteTough choice as usual, but, I'd have to choose #15 as my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHappy packing, Tina! I'm so excited for you!
I'd have to say Choice 2.
ReplyDelete(but I wouldn't turn any of them down, honestly!)
Choice 1: I really don't like walking into a room and seeing the clothing...even a closet. I want everything neat and tidy.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thanksgiving...Hugs, Jan
No. 10 is so pretty...love everything about it! I just know there are more closets throughout the room like the one shown in the photo...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day Tina!
#17 Hands Down!! Because, if it is my "refuge" I need that velvet sofa to relax on ... plus I like the size and soothing colors ... and just enough girliness!!
ReplyDelete#10 -- just the right amount of space and everything is nice and tidy.
ReplyDelete#4 for me!!
ReplyDelete#1, then #6 , then #15 - all are white, all are behind doors (mirrored and classic design) and all have windows with natural light as well - all classic, tidy, easy to organize and well lit in order to better see what it is you are looking for - a significant priority as well as we age....:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving...will be on the road with everyone to get to my family in the US... just think - a year from now, life will be peaceful for you - just hectic in your new kitchen preparing for your Thanksgiving dinner!!!
number 2 is my favorite... but 12 was a close runner up. these are beautiful... i could daydream about my closet all day...
ReplyDeleteHow to choose ?????? Ok, if I must is #6 for me. M.
ReplyDeleteHas to be number 4 for me followed closly by number 8. Nothing to do with how practical it is, more a gut feeling.
ReplyDeleteNumber 10 for me. It could be a getaway room for me. And the fact that the clothes are hidden behind doors is a major plus,as I am not the neatest, most organized person!
ReplyDeleteNunber 6-followed by Number 15. I hope you have a wonderful, blessed Holiday with your family. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh, so hard to choose. I think I'm in love with 6, though! Now, if you will excuse me, I think I need to go organize my own closet! It looks nothing like any of these beauties. I think the shoes are about to march out in protest of the disorganization. Thanks for the inspiration, Tina!
ReplyDeleteIt's number 10 for me. Warm and cozy, I love the color scheme. And a really close runner up is number 6.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thanksgiving, looking forward to your house update on Friday.
I choose closet #10.........sigh.
ReplyDeleteHi its a total tie between 17 and 15, both so luxurious, what fun it would be to play in there!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Tina!
Wow...so much goodness here. I pick choice #2. I am girlie girl if not anything else but let's just say I would not be unhappy with any of these choices!
ReplyDeletenumber 4 for me! ;-)
ReplyDelete11 & 15 are my faves.
ReplyDeletego for it!!
I will choose # 14 just because #10 is too beige and that color doesn't suit me, jaja what a complain! however I will add some door, like those in #6 and a more comfortable sofa, anyway I'm loving that table!
ReplyDeleteI would choose number 8. I love the natural light. There is a bag - yellow and white purse - on the island that is made by a local designer here is Annapolis, MD. Her name is Ellen Allen. You can google her. GREAT bags and scarves. Can you let me know where that image is from. I'd like to let Ellen know - she may already. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDelete#6 or #15 for me…but I would have to change the light fixtures in 6!
Good luck with the move…I'll be thinking of you.
Amy
I can't decide between #6, 10 and 15. I would kill and mame to have any one of them though. Well, maybe just mame.
ReplyDeleteI choose #17 because of that fun color scheme - I'd love to have a great closet like this someday and I would throw caution to the wind and do some really fun, adventuresome colors and designs - why not??!! :)
ReplyDeleteFirst choice - #1 - Beautiful, functional, well designed & fabulous lighting!
ReplyDeleteSecond choice - # 15 - very functional, but wasted space in the midddle!
Third Choice - # 13 - Great use of small space all the way to ceiling- shows how an old home or space can be updated and used to perfection for storage and style!
I'd choose number 8 or number 13 but definitely would not complain if any of these gorgeous spaces were my closet!
ReplyDelete#10 please, elegant, comfortable, feminine....perfect! Happy Thanksgiving to you!
ReplyDelete#17- 'enuf said.
ReplyDeleteI'll take 3,6,7,8,and 13. It is hard to choose. Maybe just have 5 houses and a different closet in each. I will choose 13 as my most favorite. Happy thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI love to do this....ummmm, I just love the coziness of number 10...my final answer! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
I would be happy with any one of them, but forced to choose, I say #1.
ReplyDeletebest...Victoria
I have to chose just one???? Sorry, I can't so, 7,10 or 13 will do just fine!!!!
ReplyDeleteI choose #4 for the great, natural light and mirrored doors. I also like everything tucked away behind doors- so tidy looking, even if inside it is not!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a tough time between 13 and 17. I feel a closet/dressing room should have more of an intimate feel to it, don't like wide open spaces. I do lean towards open closets rather than a bunch of doors. I want to see all my options....AND I am OC, arranging all my clothes by color and sleeve length in my tiny closet, heehee.
ReplyDelete13 really displays everything.
17 is my final vote because it has seating, lighting, AND you can see what you're contemplating...
Don't forget to check Charles Faudree and Ralph Lauren closets!
Funny I have so many of these in my files. Tough choice but I think #6!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go for #14 or #4. I'm liking the mirrored fronts with clothes hidden away. #14 is elegant and I love a tufted ottoman. Happy Thanksgiving! I am cooking for 24. Oh boy....but will be so much fun to be with family.
ReplyDeleteTina, love number 1 and guess what it has CANNED LIGHTS! Love it, all are lovely.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm crazy, but I would go right past some of the more elegant ones and choose #14. I have seen that picture and I LOVE, LOVE the table.
ReplyDeleteTina, hope you are having a great day. ;)
17, the wallpaper, large window and comfortable sofa!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I think my first choice would be #10 and secondly #6.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Definitely #1-----so spectacular!!! However, I would NEVER want to have to clean those mirrors:)
ReplyDelete#6, although I love the black cabinetry in #7.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving.
Karen
I'm new to your blog and just have to say that I'm hooked! Your house is beautiful. I love when people build their new homes to look old. One quick question, have you ever posted a floor plan? I'd love to see it to help visualize.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd vote for #3!
I love almosto of them. But my first choice goes to number 1. It's so elegant and "raffiné". Your house is absolutelly wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCorrecting... I love almost all of them.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely 2, but 10 and 17 are close behind... they're all heavenly...
ReplyDeleteCindy
am I the only #8 lover? #8!!! Love your blog btw....it's inspired me to start blogging, which in turn inspired a teacher-friend of mine to blog and get her students blogging
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, What great choices. I love #2 for myself, and since this is a fantasy dream I know Jim would love #3 for his and hers. I'll take the cute poodle too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours Tina.

The French Hutch
Choice number 6, then the last one, third #8. That's my take on it.
ReplyDelete1st choice is 15; second choice is 10. Feels like it has to be neutral in order not to fight with the clothes and accessories but who wouldn't want space and natural light!
ReplyDeleteFirst choice is #8; second is #10....so difficult to choose!!! Loved this!
ReplyDeleteI would choose closet #7 because it most reminds me of the interior of the Ralph Lauren Boutique on 72nd & Madison Ave.
ReplyDeletePreviously, it was called The Rhinelander-Waldo Mansion, a gorgeous 1898 French Renaissance Revival.
I remember feeling, as I strolled the corridors and rooms of this breathtakingly lovely mansion that I was transported to another space and time. I was so privileged and happy simply standing in the midst of such unspeakable beauty.
As soon as I saw the # 7 closet choice, I was back at the Rhinelander with that same wonderful feeling.
I hope it's your choice.
Number 13 for me! It's probably more about how the clothes are arranged...but I also love the narrow space and wood floors. Sending my best to you for a wonderful, safe and Happy Thanksgiving! x
ReplyDeleteI definitely go for n°3!!!
ReplyDeletexx
Greet
Number 1 for me because of the comfotable seating for more than one(so you can share),
ReplyDeletethe beautiful chandelier, the mirrored mini
closets and the option of having natural
light.
#1 for me!
ReplyDeleteTina, I am happy/sad for you reference the packing. Happy you are headed into your home at last and sad, because, well.....you are packing and moving!! No matter how wonderful the destination, moving is a trial!! I recommend Christmas music and good wine :)
This is very strange, I have come back to look at your post 4 times before I could make up my mind, that *never* happens! The indecision on dressing rooms is amazing to me, it should have been so simple! I will say the first choice is #5, I like the lighting, layout and colors. Second is #10, third is #17. (I must admit to enjoying looking at these, despite being a towering pillar of jello on the ultimate choices.)
ReplyDeleteSending you a smile,
tp
I love #3
ReplyDeleteTina I am loving the light in #4 and the glass doors in #6. Too be honest what a gift it would be to have any of the above dressing area, kathysue
ReplyDeleteLordy - I'd be happy with any of these and the fabulous clothes/shoes that go with them! I have to say, I love the organization and colors of #13 so that's the one I'm choosing!
ReplyDeletexxoo
Oh please give me 15 or 17 and you won't hear any complaints!!
ReplyDeleteTeresa
Choice 6!!
ReplyDeleteAll the elements I want are NOT in one photo, but I'll choose #11 based purely on the elbow-room and three-sided mirror - Oh, and I need those two benches for catching all the clothes I toss before deciding what to wear...I think Tina would call that OCCD (obsessive compulsive clothing disorder).
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing because the neon-green EXIT? sign probably means it's a retail shop...but today I'll forgo some warmth for practicality. Speaking of warmth, #10 was designed by Barry Dixon, and I'd really love a mix of 10 & 11.
#4! So spacious and bright! I would love to get a peek of what is behind those mirrored doors!
ReplyDeleteOk, I gave this WAAAAAAY more thought than I have tome for, but I think I have to go with #9. Thanks for the wonderful distraction, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! xo
ReplyDeleteStacy
Tina you always make these soo hard, now I want to throw out all my husbands boring office things and make it a dream closet:-)
ReplyDeleteSo on that note, let me take an order of 2, 4 and a side order of 6.
Thank you!
I LOVE choice 12...I'm such a girly girl at heart!!
ReplyDeletexo
Sharon
Well for the man it is number 3 and for me 6 or 10 Gosh they are all wonderful in their own way! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt, #10 is IT.
ReplyDeleteI'm choosing 3 for my husband and 4 for myself...if we're dreaming, may as well dream big!!
ReplyDeleteThat was hard choosing let me tell you but it has to be #10 So cozy! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for the contractors to knock at my front door! 10, 1 or 6 would be PERFECT!!! Thanks for the chance to dream!
ReplyDelete6 and 10 are just perfect!
ReplyDelete#10 Dreaming!!
ReplyDeleteTina, it would have to be number 10. I am not sure why, but when I saw it I knew.
ReplyDeleteCHOICE 6
ReplyDeleteOK a perfect party IMO is a pj party, opposite day:)
Happy Thanksgiving!
There are so many fabulous choices here! My pick would be #1. I love the glamorous look!
ReplyDelete4, 8, 10, or 15 would be my personal choices!! ;O)
ReplyDelete1 and 6 glass and mirrors - enough said
ReplyDeleteNumber 10 is it for me but first give me some shoes from 13. Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family. Packing is a royal pain but the end result is worth it.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina! 2 or 6 could make me very happy and I might even give my husband a luttle corner:)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very joyful Thanksgiving Tina.
Tina!
ReplyDeleteI'm leaning more for #5... the colors are so soothing! I would just want to sit there all day! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
lol,
Desiree
Number 1 jumped out for me. It evokes a sense of glamour.
ReplyDeleteOh no, Tina, just one?? hee..
ReplyDeleteOk, gotta go with #10, but this was hard!!
I am a warm colors gal, and I do like that it's a tad on the cozy side.
Thanks for the fun dream:)
A beautiful Thanksgiving to you!
xoxo,
- Irina
Five! It has a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" vibe...well, if Holly had some money maybe that is what she'd have ;)
ReplyDeleteAll extraordinary and all to die for. If I have to pick one I can't, so I am picking 4 or 6.
ReplyDeleteAll stunning but I love 10 and 6.How exciting that you are packing Have a great day Tina.xx
ReplyDeleteI would choose #1, #3, #10, #8 in that order. Sorry I just couldn't narrow it down to only one! How about a different one in each bedroom of the home?! Now that'll work!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like 9 and 13 are just two ends of the same closet. I would just combine the two into one amazing closet and then spend the entire weekend there!!
ReplyDeleteLisa
Tina I was going to throw a tantrum and stomp like a baby that I don't get my "Thursday fix" but since you will be back on Friday guess I can wait a day:) Wishing you and your family a great Thanksgiving and hopefully its a full day of rest and relaxtaion for you, you have earned it!
ReplyDeleteNow for these cloests, doors for me would be a must, I get a little carried away when feeling creative putting together things so this way I can hide my messes from my OCD hubby so going with 1 or 4, love all the mirrors to make it bright and light and that everything is concealed..wonderful.
OH DEAR! I AM WAY TO LATE FOR THIS ONE...parent conferences kept me very busy and now very tired! Do I still have a chance to get in?
ReplyDeleteI WANT CHOICE ONE! Those mirrored paned doors do it to me every time! LOVE TO YOU, TINA! Anita
Definitely choice number 10. It would feel so warm and cozy...like a big hug.
ReplyDeleteHard to choose, but I would take choice 10 - I could live in any of those dressing rooms.....!!
ReplyDelete#10, #10!!!
ReplyDeletedefinitely #7....
ReplyDeletecan't get past the gorgeous black paneling..
my favorite..!!
maureen
#6 and #10, beautiful......
ReplyDeleteWell, I am not at all surprised that the voting is all over the place with this post. The one in all wood is magnificent but a little too masculine for me. #13, although boutique-like a little is quite spectacular with its color coordination (got to love that). But I think my favorite would have to be #8 - a few feminine touches and natural light which I love in any space and which is missing in most closets. And I prefer not having everything openly on display. #10 is close behind.
ReplyDelete6 & 7 are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Thanksgiving, Tina!
Teresa
xoxo
I was going strong with #4 and then #15 absolutely blew me away! GORGEOUS! Well, they all are, but if I had to pick it would be #15.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
choice 4--I could pass out on the chaise right now! Have a great Thanksgiving Tina! xxBarbara
ReplyDelete4, 9, 11 or 14!!! Actually, who am I kidding? I'd take any of them in a heartbeat :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Tina! xoxo
Can I pick "all of them"? I wouldn't turn up my nose at any of them!
ReplyDeletemy choice is #2 love ,love
ReplyDeleteOh Wow Tina! You found some beauties!! This is so fun and I have 2 favorites....# 10 and # 17 ! Now I going to peek at other answers!
ReplyDeleteI love 4 and 10! Happy Thanksgiving:)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Have you seen blogger Sheridan French's closet? You can see it here...it is to die for ad could easily rival these:) And she is a sweetie.
ReplyDeletehttp://sheridanfrench.blogspot.com/2011/09/reader-request-my-closet.html
Lots of good choices, but 5 is it for sure for me!
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE #6 all the way!!!!
ReplyDeleteGloria in Illinois
#9 for me :)
ReplyDeleteB
4,6 or 8 are just a dream!!
ReplyDeleteChoice 6. But they all look wonderful.
ReplyDelete
