Which would you choose??

Good morning, before I begin....I know we are all busy with Thanksgiving preparations this week, kids being out of school, etc...and on top of that I am slowly starting to pack up, never though I would say that!  So.....this week I will not be posting on my usual Thursday in honor of Thanksgiving but will be back on Friday with a house updates post and be back on schedule.

OK......what girl doesn't dream of a major serious "boutique like" walk in closet, the kind you could get lost in, the kind every pair of shoes lusts after, every dress fantasizes to be hung in, the kind every blouse wants as its final resting place....yes we all want and dream over  a crazy gorgeous closet.
So, your wonderful dinner has finally ended, all that prepping in that gorgeous kitchen, the cocktails in your beautiful living room, the fabulous dinner in your elegant dining room, the way the party continued onto the terrace and then finally the crowning touch, the movie and popcorn down in the theater. What a night it was! But you cannot wait to finally change into your favorite pj's!! Its off to your closet to finally kick off those shoes and slip into something cotton and comfortable....so time to escape and get lost in your closet aka refuge. Time to choose, you guessed it, a closet. But not any closet. Feast your eyes on these beauties....hey if you are going to dream, might as well go all the way, right? Pick a favorite and let me know which you pick...cannot wait to see which comes out on top!

    I would choose #13, just for the storage. There were so may others that I loved for the beauty, but a closet should ultimately be practical. Happy Thanksgiving!

    I always get stressed over these because I want them all... I feel so greedy. This one is tough, I honestly can't choose... loving #1, 8, 15, 14...they are all fabulous. Hope your week is going well Tina. xo

    I would have to say choice #13! Love how organized it is and cozy. Although, It would be nice if it had a small sofa to sit on while pondering all the choices I have to wear for the day. :) Ohhhhh I can't wait to eat, too! Love Thanksgiving!

    #1 for me. Love that the room functions as a vanity or even a personal office as well as a closet and visually that all is put away behind doors.

    I paused at #9 - that is how many shoes I could maybe have in my next life (and not counting this life where I collect/hord shoes and cant throw them out!) But #10! SOmething caught in my throat! Imagining myself walking in that closet, my clothing behind closet doors.... That's the ONE!

    #1, then #6 , then #15 - all are white, all are behind doors (mirrored and classic design) and all have windows with natural light as well - all classic, tidy, easy to organize and well lit in order to better see what it is you are looking for - a significant priority as well as we age....:)

    Happy Thanksgiving...will be on the road with everyone to get to my family in the US... just think - a year from now, life will be peaceful for you - just hectic in your new kitchen preparing for your Thanksgiving dinner!!!

    Number 10 for me. It could be a getaway room for me. And the fact that the clothes are hidden behind doors is a major plus,as I am not the neatest, most organized person!

    I will choose # 14 just because #10 is too beige and that color doesn't suit me, jaja what a complain! however I will add some door, like those in #6 and a more comfortable sofa, anyway I'm loving that table!

    I would choose number 8. I love the natural light. There is a bag - yellow and white purse - on the island that is made by a local designer here is Annapolis, MD. Her name is Ellen Allen.     First choice - #1 - Beautiful, functional, well designed & fabulous lighting!
    Second choice - # 15 - very functional, but wasted space in the midddle!
    Third Choice - # 13 - Great use of small space all the way to ceiling- shows how an old home or space can be updated and used to perfection for storage and style!

    I'm having a tough time between 13 and 17. I feel a closet/dressing room should have more of an intimate feel to it, don't like wide open spaces. I do lean towards open closets rather than a bunch of doors. I want to see all my options....AND I am OC, arranging all my clothes by color and sleeve length in my tiny closet, heehee.

    13 really displays everything.

    17 is my final vote because it has seating, lighting, AND you can see what you're contemplating...

    Don't forget to check Charles Faudree and Ralph Lauren closets!

    I'm going to go for #14 or #4. I'm liking the mirrored fronts with clothes hidden away. #14 is elegant and I love a tufted ottoman. Happy Thanksgiving! I am cooking for 24. Oh boy....but will be so much fun to be with family.

    I would choose closet #7 because it most reminds me of the interior of the Ralph Lauren Boutique on 72nd & Madison Ave.
    Previously, it was called The Rhinelander-Waldo Mansion, a gorgeous 1898 French Renaissance Revival.
    I remember feeling, as I strolled the corridors and rooms of this breathtakingly lovely mansion that I was transported to another space and time. I was so privileged and happy simply standing in the midst of such unspeakable beauty.
    As soon as I saw the # 7 closet choice, I was back at the Rhinelander with that same wonderful feeling.
    I hope it's your choice.

    This is very strange, I have come back to look at your post 4 times before I could make up my mind, that *never* happens! The indecision on dressing rooms is amazing to me, it should have been so simple! I will say the first choice is #5, I like the lighting, layout and colors. Second is #10, third is #17. (I must admit to enjoying looking at these, despite being a towering pillar of jello on the ultimate choices.)

    All the elements I want are NOT in one photo, but I'll choose #11 based purely on the elbow-room and three-sided mirror - Oh, and I need those two benches for catching all the clothes I toss before deciding what to wear...I think Tina would call that OCCD (obsessive compulsive clothing disorder).

    I'm laughing because the neon-green EXIT? sign probably means it's a retail shop...but today I'll forgo some warmth for practicality. Speaking of warmth, #10 was designed by Barry Dixon, and I'd really love a mix of 10 & 11.

    I would choose #1, #3, #10, #8 in that order. Sorry I just couldn't narrow it down to only one! How about a different one in each bedroom of the home?! Now that'll work!

    It looks like 9 and 13 are just two ends of the same closet. I would just combine the two into one amazing closet and then spend the entire weekend there!!

    Tina I was going to throw a tantrum and stomp like a baby that I don't get my "Thursday fix" but since you will be back on Friday guess I can wait a day:) Wishing you and your family a great Thanksgiving and hopefully its a full day of rest and relaxtaion for you, you have earned it!
    Now for these cloests, doors for me would be a must, I get a little carried away when feeling creative putting together things so this way I can hide my messes from my OCD hubby so going with 1 or 4, love all the mirrors to make it bright and light and that everything is concealed..wonderful.

    Well, I am not at all surprised that the voting is all over the place with this post. The one in all wood is magnificent but a little too masculine for me. #13, although boutique-like a little is quite spectacular with its color coordination (got to love that). But I think my favorite would have to be #8 - a few feminine touches and natural light which I love in any space and which is missing in most closets. And I prefer not having everything openly on display. #10 is close behind.
