Good morning to all you lovlies! Hope everyone is well and off to a good and productive week. Don't know about your part of the country or world but over here, its getting cooooold. To the point where I have been going out to start my car in the morning, cranking up the heat, and waiting inside until its warmed and toasty.. Yea, that kind of cold. The kind I am increasingly less fond of as I get older. Oh well......not much I am going to be able to do about it, but it makes me feel better to put it out there, that officially on the record, I really don't like winter much anymore, except for that first beautiful snow. There, glad to get it off my chest!
OK enough of my gibberish, we have some work to do. So....you remember your incredibly successful tapas party, right? Well, its still happening....remember how some of you chose to go to the library for an after dinner drink and steal another bite of dessert, well the other half decided to take advantage of the unusually balmy Indian summer like evening and took their cocktails outside. To be the polite hostess that you are, you excuse yourself from your guests in the library and decided to join and check in with the group under the stars. So now you get to choose which outside patio setting you want to go to. Here we go, you know the drill, pick your favorite!! Can't wait to see what all of you taste makers come up with this time, many pretties to chose from..have fun!
Warning, PADD (Patio Attention Deficit Disorder) is known to rear its ugly head during this exercise, use caution and proceed at your own risk:)

So...which will it be? A hard decision? Yes, I must admit I found it to be one too! Can't wait to hear which is going to be your outdoor oasis for the night. Will share the results on Thursdays post. Wishing everyone a wonderful day!!
Tina, I love this series but it stresses me out because I can never choose!! I am stuck between 1, 4, & 9! It's so cold here I am longing for a evening outside under the stars in the warm air! xo
ReplyDeleteWow!! You're talking my language today! :-) Loving this!!! Number 16 is my favorite because I can change anything else if I want, except the view! That one makes me dream w/ sunshine!
ReplyDeleteLots of love to you, Tina.

What I would give to be outside in one of these right this minute!! For me its a dead even tie between 1, 4 and 5 thogh they are all lovely. Thanks, love this series!!
ReplyDeleteHave to go with 7 - reminds me of our first home on the East side - we had the ground floor - a lovely oasis in a big city!
ReplyDeleteI definitely have PADD. Too funny. Choice 17 all the way for me, with those soaring ceilings, the exposed wood casings and brick- incredible.
ReplyDeleteIt has GOT to be NUMBER ONE for me...I adore water, BLUE and in the home, like this literally looks...INSIDE THE HOME!
ReplyDeleteHI TINA !!! Anita
#5 has always been my favorite!! I really would lovew to have a room that looks just like that!
ReplyDeletePour the wine and you will find me sitting on 2!
ReplyDelete12 or 13. A view adds so much. I want seating for conversation but also for dining. I want shade from the sun but also open areas with no cover, to get the most from early spring and late fall days. In my part of the country, winter is harsh, but then we REALLY enjoy our warm weather with a vengeance. Thanks for all the options, from the city to the sea and woodsy places.
ReplyDeletewow its so hard to choose this week i love no 3 but the fireplace in no 4 is to die for,no 6 is a combination of the two and no 14 has a spectacular view. But if i was pushed it would have to be no 6
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to be the owner of several homes to satisfy all I like here. I love #2, its a lot like what I have, but loose the tree columns. I love #4, #8, and #17. My top pick has to be # 14 for the view. Whew, that fantasy was not easy Tina.

The French Hutch
Choice 1!!! Hands down. Clear winner. It is totally breathtaking!
ReplyDeletewww.sadieandstella.blogspot.com
I can't possibly pick - love them all. But since I live in the city, I will go with #7. xx
ReplyDeleteI would be headed out to Patio #4! I love me a good patio!!
ReplyDeleteLove a good terrace - all beautiful but I'm thinking #7 is special since a great urban setting is so rare and coveted!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so hard,
ReplyDeleteall are so lovely.
So I called my ten yr old son for help,
oh he likes the 12th one
and I'd go for the second one and my second choice is the first one.
See? We can't even vote for the same one.
This was easy - #1. It looks like the patio from the dining room I originally chose. Since we're dancing to Bossa Nova music, we'll need lots of flat space...and that would explain why I didn't choose my next fave, #12 - too many steps which don't mix well with alchohol and dancing :) Break-a-leg?!
ReplyDeleteT,
ReplyDeletewithout question
#1 and # 8
love the choices xx
I thought #1 and then I saw #17.....that's it, hand's down! Love this each Tuesday. Thanks for allowing me to let my vivid imagination run wild!
ReplyDeleteGot to be 12 for me - the view of the water - so soothing......
ReplyDeleteI am going to say #13 is my favorite - it makes me think of having the entire family (and a kids table) together for good food, good wine/whiskey/whatever and laughter. That is what I see in this outside dream come true picture.
ReplyDeleteOh please, take me to that magicial place of n°12!! I would be so thankfull!
ReplyDeletexx
Greet
#1(first choice)ultra glam & #4 (2nd choice)euro beauty..but it has to have a pool..and poolhouse and a fab view of beautiful landscaped rose gardens or even better an oceanview!what the heck..BOTH we are dreaming right?
ReplyDeleteI missed #17..that is GORGEOUS! love it..#10 is classically pretty as well..too hard to choose
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no contest...#12. It's glamourous and it has water. Add friends & vino and voila, perfection. Love you...
ReplyDeleteI am easily influenced by a good view -- so it is #12 & #14 for me. But, I love the house and coziness of #1. So, can I take all 3 please?
ReplyDeleteCan't decide! I like #1 because I think the house that goes with it must be fantastic. Does that break the rules…are we to judge solely on the actual merits of the patio itself? Okay now I'm being ridiculous of course.
ReplyDeleteHappy Week Tina!
Amy
Choice 1. Don't need to explain why, it's all there.
ReplyDeleteChoice #5, please and thank you!
ReplyDeleteOMG I had to scroll back and forth several times! But I think my favorite is #7, tough choice!
ReplyDeleteI like 2,4, 12 and 17
ReplyDeleteI'd like one of each please. :) #1 for the arches and lanterns, but they are all really beautiful for many reasons!
ReplyDeleteVery tough choice, but I think number 14 because of the view!
ReplyDeleteStacy
Wow, I got to leave my life problems behind and go party for a minute. Thanks for the invite :)
ReplyDelete#12 is my favorite, because you could lose yourself in the view or garden. #4 is runner up for fabulous decorating.
I love this series,so much fun analyzing each photo and dreaming. Number 12, my favorite, the views, water, pool, fireplace and so much space to entertain guests. Number 14,16 for the views, I'm a beach girl. I love #4, reminds me of the beautiful patios here in ATL.
ReplyDelete1, 4, and 10 in that order! Beau-ti-ful, Tina.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these images.
Have a nice Tuesday.
Teresa
xoxo
It's #1 for me. And though not many have chosen it ..I had a hard time not picking number 2. It's very much my style. Just love those steel windows and rustic decor. Great series. Mona
ReplyDeleteI pick 4!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #3, #12, or #14 for me - it's all about the view! xo
ReplyDeleteWell, number 12 hands down - what a spectacular view, lots of space and I don't know if I would ever be in the house. If #1 was on the intercoastal waterway that would definitely be in the running and if I was a "landlubber" I would have a hard time deciding between 17 and 2.
ReplyDeleteTina, I could not agree with you more, I am not that fond of snow and cold as I age. Luckily it is still fabulous weather here, I am just in fro a walk in yoga pants and long sleved shirt with a scarf. The leaves are falling lightly from the beautiful red, orange and yello trees.
ReplyDeleteBefore I drone on let me make the choice of 5, 7, and 11. There were too many beautiful choices to just pick one.
I hope that you have a fabulous day! Do read the Winter House...it is not up beat but it is good. Makes you think. Soon you will be happily enconsed in your beautiful library reading by the fire with your cup of coffee and a treat or two!
Take care, xo Elizabeth
At first I was going to say #7 like you - something about the photo draws you in. But I think #14 because would love to have a view of the water. Fun to dream!
ReplyDeleteOk, for the space itself, I choose #4 - love that stone fireplace! But the views for 12 and 14 are just my style. So, you want us to pick just one?....I guess my first choice would be #14.
ReplyDeleteI love this series on your blog. What a great escape for a few minutes!
-Shelley
For me, it's #12... all those seperate outdoor "rooms" plus an infinity edge pool plus a view of the water! Paradise.
ReplyDelete#4!
ReplyDeleteThere were many I could have chosen from these beauties, but I chose #16 because it looks like Greece on the Aegean Sea. Who wouldn't like that?
ReplyDeleteBest...Victoria
5 or 14 . Love love love:)))))
ReplyDeleteI have to say #16!!!! #1 came in a close second. But really?? look at that view---take me away!!! Awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteMy choice would be... this was hard, but I think Choice # 15.
ReplyDeleteTerri
i can never pick just one on these posts... my top 3: #1, #7, and #12. love, love and love.
ReplyDeletei listed your blog on my top 10 list today of my absolute most favorite blogs:)
Choice 4. I love a good fire and a couch for entertaining. Those french doors are amazing too.
ReplyDelete#4 for me, beautiful and useable.
ReplyDeleteWhy, oh why do you make this so hard every time? Too many great choices, it's nail biting {although I do not bite my nails}. LOVE #1, so classic in so many ways. #5 for that range hood and a classic, casual vibe and #14 for the view but would change everything on the patio.
ReplyDeleteNo. 7.
ReplyDeletei live in the country, so this would be a treat to relax in an urban setting this charming.
warmly.
michele
#4 and #12 - gorgeous!!
ReplyDelete#12 - it has everything.
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely. My favorite is #4, then #14. For a wonderful easy party
ReplyDelete#13.
I pick 4!
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely choices...I think it's a toss up between #1,#12 & #16.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to combine them: Take the aesthetic style of #1 with the layout of #12 with the view of #16.
4 - 10 - or 17. Each has it's own appeal to me .. but none of them hit it direcly on the head.
ReplyDelete1st time visitor to your blog. Enjoyed my visit!
Julie

Tina this was VERY hard for me. I kept going up and down, up and down, the best I could do was narrow it down to two! So the two are number 1 and number 16. I would be tickled pink to be hanging out there!
ReplyDeleteMay I just say I just love coming to your blog, at last someone is blogging about the style I love so much..... Gorgeous classic, traditional and old world....love it- keep it up you are doing one heck of a job, I have recommended your blog to several friends.
They are all stunning and I would be blessed to have any of these spaces. But personally #9 meets all my needs. It's a beautiful covered space which could be enjoyed through most weather conditions. I just love your blog. Your always giving us such delicious eye candy.
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me with this?! UNFAIR! You need to switch some out for uglier pictures.
ReplyDeleteAfter scrolling through about seven times, I'd have to say #14 is the one I could see spending oodles of time enjoying!
!2, 14 or 16, any of those three work, it is all about the view. The joy of sitting outside while overlooking the water is something I grew up with and have never lost as an ideal locale for a patio!
ReplyDeleteLovely choices Tina!
tp
#1 or #16 because of the beautiful water! Nothing like the ocean or a stunning pool to add ambience!
ReplyDeleteIt has to be #4. Even though the ceiling is high it looks so cosy. And #16 for my place in Greece ( I wish !)
ReplyDeleteThanks Fiona
Number 16! #1 is amazing as well, but I love the sun and the white in #16!
ReplyDeleteHard to choose just one, ok it will be #12 really like the idea of having different places to sit here and there, and the seats by the pool, love them.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.bgarch.com/images/portfolio/residences/bel1.jpg
Also loved, but left behind: # 2 (those windows), #14 (jus imagine the view on a starry night!) and #17(the windos and that bougainvillea ♥).
As I would gladly take any of these beautiful outdoor settings, it's hard to pin down one. But, if forced to decide, 1 & 4 get my vote!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo Elizabeth
Hands down this week for me! Choice 5. M.
ReplyDeleteTough decision! I was about to pick choice #1, but then fell for #14 instead! I love the views and comfortable seating. That's what it's all about for me! :) Fun post!
ReplyDeleteThis was really tough. I went with the practical. I choose #9 because it had everything. Dining, fireplace, overhead covered in case of a light rain, and it is gorgeous. I don't need a pool for outside entertaining. It seems a distraction to conversation.
ReplyDeleteMs T - that's what HEATED & COOLED garages are for. I thought hubs was crazy at first.
ReplyDeleteI want something different so I won't pick #4 because it's a carbon copy of what I have now. It's gotta be 12, 14, or 16 for those spectacular views.
Whoa!
ReplyDeleteI felt like was taking an eye test..."which is better, number 1 or number 2? ...number 8 or number 9?
The number I chose was.....
# 4.
It was a very difficult choice!
#4 for me, please! Love it!
ReplyDeleteNumber 1! But if my backyard and view looked like 12 I wouldn't mind.
ReplyDeleteWell keeping in mind that you've set the stage where we are enjoying the balmy evening and the stars I would go with number 12. It looks comfy cozy and a GREAT view. The night sky would be beautiful from here.
ReplyDelete14 and 4 are both beautiful!! although I could happily live in any one of these!
ReplyDelete4 or 1 PLEASE!!
ReplyDeleteI'll take # 4 please, no question :-). Love your blog, your new home and your decorating style, so elegant, classic and inspiring. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI love #5!
ReplyDeleteI'll take #12. Love the terraces, separate gathering areas, outdoor fireplace, beautiful view, infinity pool, greenery beginning to cover the canopy, lush plantings, easy maintenance - its perfect!
ReplyDelete1,4, and 14!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is number 1..... Just beautiful
ReplyDelete1, 4, and 14... all for different houses. Right at this moment I'm think I wish I was on 4 right now.
ReplyDeleteThere is only one choice #4
ReplyDeleteInstantly I fell in love with Choice 4. The grandeur of the space and the elegance grabbed me. Any other day I would have picked it in an instant. But My Choice would be 7. I just love the fact that it is its own "urban oasis" so to speak. A little getaway not far from home. It reminds me of some of the places I saw in Paris. # 7 is a winner for me.
ReplyDeleteYes please! One of each! Tina, you chose the most perfect images.
ReplyDeleteI think I LOVE # 14 for the view and 2 for the cozy feel.
This is always so much fun!
Yvonne
Ohh so hard love 12 for the view & looks such a stunning location 4 was so cosy but heading into summer in QLD so the fire might be to much for me at the moment :) & 1 was just so classy! :)
ReplyDeletel fell in love with all of them for various reasons but l decided No # 1 was my final choice.
ReplyDelete#14 and #1 are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a tough decision! I actually have 3 favorites: 1, 3 & 7, but since I can only pick one, I'm going with #7.
ReplyDeleteuh-oh... too many elements across all of them that I love (such as the black steel framed windows and doors in 2 and 13 or the mirror and ottomans in 11 or the lanterns in 17, 10, and 1 or the kooba chairs in 5.) Arrrgh...
ReplyDeleteTwist my arm... #9. It looks elegant and comfortable with all the creature comforts I could want - ok, and that ceiling it too much!
Such a decision and fun to imagine myself in each location. I love #4, but then 12 & 17 called out to me, It's a 3way tie!
ReplyDeleteNumber 1, 10, or 12. water and light, an in deniable combination.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely choice #4! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGet out your calculator!! So many responses!! My vote is #4 and the second choice would be #10!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
Four!
ReplyDeleteTina, you found some amazing pictures. I think 12 is breathtaking, but there was something about 13 that just drew me in. So, I have to say 13 is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteNow, I'm off the read what everyone else chose. This has to be some sort of record for most posts on a blog.
Happy Tuesday, Cindy
Number 1 for sure; I can't resist the water!
ReplyDeleteHappy middle-of-the-week to you!
-Keri
Too many to pick one, so I"m going against type and saying 12.
ReplyDeletelove theme alllllllll!
ReplyDeletebut if i must- i choose no' 2.
Ayala
I like all of them, but I choose #4.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, as I get older the cold weather is not my choice. We moved from NJ to VA because of the winters. Our old bones and cold weather are not a good match. But, If I had a new home like yours, I would never leave the north. I would just stay home in front of one of those beautiful fireplaces:)
I find myself drawn to #11 and #17. They have a very intimate and relaxed feeling, yet plenty of seating for lively chats on all the best weather days and star filled evenings!
ReplyDeleteReplacing my SADD with PADD and voting for #3!
ReplyDeletexxoo
Although any one would do me just fine I would narrrow it down to 1, 12, 14, 16..it's about being by a body of water. Love the total color effect of #1!
ReplyDeleteMy choice is number 2. It is so romantic and, at the same time, so practical and rustic.
ReplyDeleteBut to tell the truth I like all of them very much, except for one or two.
I have to say that I love your blog. My day only begins after I had had a look on it.
Love them all but after taking the attached houses and water views out of the equation to make it easier, I finally narrowed it down to 4 or 12...entirely different vibes but I'm drawn to both.
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteCity mouse: #7
Country mouse: #4
Loved more than half of the selected choices.
Karen
Oh man this one was hard!!! For me it's between 4 and 7, they really drew me in! Love this game :))) Hope your week is well so far,
ReplyDeleteNancy xo
I know I am very late here, but for me it would have to be number 1, that is just amazing. I would never want to leave.
ReplyDeleteThey're ALL great choices! But I'd wittle it down to 1, 6, or 10. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI think #9 is the one I would feel the most comfortable in. The fireplace, the drapes to soften the room, the size of the room, and the pop of blue color dit it for me.
ReplyDeleteFirst choice is #1. Then, #17 and #14 (in that order).
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a hard choice! All of those homes are completely beautiful! I like #3 best though. It looks perfect. http://www.ucciproperties.com/windfield.php
ReplyDelete
