Good morning......by now you certainly know the drill! Well, after you slaved over your tapas dinner it is time for a well deserved break! Needless to say it was a major hit, the wine has flowed liberally, one gorgeous tray after another was presented from your beautiful kitchen to your adoring guests who did not stop with the accolades. Yep, to say you aced your tapas dinner is a serious understatement.
Well....after a little dessert and coffee out on the terrace, your husband has planned a movie viewing for everyone in your theater/media room! Its a surprise and a welcome one for you....as at last you get to put those hard worked feet where they belong.....up!! So its time to choose a room to where you will be retiring for at least two bliss filled hours while the movie runs. Your dear hubby bless his little heart has offered to take care of the popcorn/candy servings throughout the movie and insists that you not move a muscle.
Warning- Viewing this photographs is known to inflict viewers with FWWAF (Forget work, watch a flick) Proceed at your own risk.........

Wow, do you have a case of FWWAF? I do! I think I have it narrowed down to two, but its not an easy decision. How much fun would it be to have one of these wonderful rooms in your basement? Only problem is it could become highly addictive and that could become a big problem. I could see it now...my kids wondering where I am then my youngest, rolling his eyes saying "like you really need to ask....duh" and then they would all collectively sigh knowing where their mom is while pointing down to the basement, and say "oh yea in her new "hang out, where else". That would be me! So..... just as well I don't have one. So, two things, tell me which is your absolute fave here and tell me a favorite item over at Bungalow! Good luck and thanks for playing along!! Enjoy your day....
P.S. Thank you so much for all of your amazing advice on migraines, I was thrilled to hear from so many but sad to learn so many of you too have experienced them too, they are miserable! I am now trying a new medication, and am going for another CAT scan, so we will see how it goes. I think this round was a bad stubborn cluster headache that lasted awhile. I am celebrating today to just finally feel normal. Going to the supermarket feels like a big deal! Health is wealth....boy is that ever true:)

Choice 11
ReplyDelete#7 seems to go with the rest of your decor....beautiful choices! :O)
ReplyDeleteThis is my next favorite day of the week besides Thursdays! Choice 15 for me, so cozy but room for everyone, it looks like a theater but its really elegant, many pretty one though. Going to bungalow now, will be back.
ReplyDeleteLisa
#11 is reeeeally beautiful, too! I wouldn't be surprised if these are the 2 that you narrowed it down to!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I recently found your blog -- and can't get enough! And just in time to enter the giveaway, too... anyway, I love the Scout line but am really craving the Deano bag in Black Toile Paisley. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely rooms, but for someone serious about home theater, you would have to rule out any of the rooms with windows :)
ReplyDeleteThe seats in #4 are the same as the ones we have in our home theater, but the rest of the space looks too fussy. I would pick choice #16, but would have darker walls.
Good luck with outfitting your home theater!
I love # 9 for being so original!
ReplyDeleteNow, this giveaway is great. I can fit anything there for my new baby! Which is coming sooo soon! I'm feeling so much pressure since yesterday... I'm not sure I'll make until my due date. :-)
Hugs to you, sweetie.

First time sending a message, since I just signed up...wonderful site, getting ideas to decorate my house, the never ending project!
ReplyDeleteLove choice 1, 5 then 10.
And then the tote site, love the Hillary duffle.
Thanks.
I would love the Hilary Duffle Scout Travel Bagin LSDaisley. I carry a lot of stuff :(
ReplyDeleteChoice 15...I see a lounger with my name on it! It really looks like an old movie theater.
Hugs and have a great Tuesday, Jan
Option 1 - I love those couches! Although I loved a couple of other interiors too so I'm off to pin them! :) As for scout, my fave is Shop-O-Haul-It in Croc-o-gator...would love to sport that around doing my daily errands and kid pick up/drop offs. :) Glad you're feeling better...I haven't heard that saying that health is wealth but it's soooo true!
ReplyDeleteLove the tote giveaway. I would choose the Navy Jones Weekender. Beautiful. Thanks for the opportunity. dcrim4@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteChoice 17 all the way, specatacular and so glamorous!!
ReplyDelete#1, #3, #4, #8 or #15! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe Shop-a-haul-it Scout bag looks like a must-have!!
Thanks so much!!
All those bags are great, I think I like the green eyed lady pattern best....or maybe that silver paisley.....or....
ReplyDeleteWow! Some of these are TOO much - you could pretty much just sleep in some of these rooms, and some of them seem to have everyone too far removed from each other. But Choice 9 looks just right!
ReplyDeleteI love choice #4. I can just picture myself there. I love media rooms. They just seem to wrap themselves around you!
ReplyDeleteI really like your Deano Tote in blue & white paisley.
Hi! Just found your blog- so timely as I am doing my first theater room for a client, AND you are doing a great giveaway!!!!!
ReplyDelete#13 is my pick- I love those chairs!!!!
As for the giveaway, that Deano tote in "pink lady" would be perfect!
No Contest for me this week its no 8 for me.It has everything you could possibly need when watching your favourite flick, dark cosy atmosphere, plush chairs with assortment of pillows to sink into, blanket to snuggle and enough room in your chair for two if you so desire.
ReplyDeleteHi, Tina,
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are feeling better.
As for Bungalow, I like the Uptown Girl in mad plaider.
Home theater choice: I generally do not like the look of a home theater: stepped seating and the individual seats, to my mind, are clumsy looking, so I like the seating in #1, but I like the overall look of #9 the most.
Best...Victoria
I'd look to have the Uptown Girl bag. As for the movie room, it's gotta be #4 because it reminds me of a time gone by.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #7 for me. I'm becoming addicted to your Tuesday choices! I find myself looking forward to this...fun! Thank!
ReplyDeleteOops! I forgot to mention that I love the Daytripper bag in the leopard print.
ReplyDeleteFirst, glad you are feeling better. When I get a migraine, I just have to go to bed and sleep it off. As for the giveaway, thank you! I a hadn't heard of these bags and they are great. Love the bagette, and the pocket. But I love the Deano Tote, perfect size.
ReplyDeleteOk, #3 is like a big giant hug! These choices were MIND BLOWING! Also mind blowing....The Original Deano in Croc-o-Gator!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love the Original Deano in Croc-o-Gator Khaki!!
Now for the movie room, I have to go with #9. There is a simplicity about it that would make it easy for me to relax!!!
First of all I like the Scout website and I love their Messenger Bag. For a Movie Room I think #7 is so comfortable looking that you just want a bag of popcorn and your feet up and who cares if it is 8:16 AM in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI love the Scout travel duffle with the retractable handle. I am going to visit my daughter in Washington and it would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I LOVE the Hilary Duffle Bag in the pink paisley pattern - just beautiful !!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, Choice 8 did it for me - I think it's those sheepskin throws at the bottom of the luxurious chairs !!
Original Deano in Priscilla paisley please! Or Angelina ballerina paisley....can't make up my mind!
ReplyDeleteThe first image, #1, is my choice those sofas look so comfy and roomy.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better and good luck with the CAT scan. I just had an MRI on my head and oh lord that was a nightmare since I have claustrophobia!
So many choices today! First off, since we go away almost every weekend, I would love the Weekender in True Brit and I'd probably invest in more than one. Now onto my room choice, #9 seems so exotic and love the chaises in front of the couch. #1 comes in a close second, though!
ReplyDeletexxoo
I would be hard pressed to choose between the original deano in either Green Eyed Lady Paisley or Sweetpea Stripe. And I would make a beeline for that fabulous leather chair in choice number 5.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Loving the Green Eyed Lady Paisley. Perfect for the pool!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite day of the week! Children have just been dropped off at school, hot chocolate steaming, computer in my lap, sitting in my cozy chair. Life is good! I just love your blog and can't tell you how much I look forward to your posts. Now on with the challenge of just picking one. Number #11 is stunning!! Love that the whole family can gather together and watch a movie or enjoy some pool and still be in the same room.
ReplyDeleteLove the SCOUT site. Adorable bags, luggage, and coolers. Loved the Fast Getaway Scout Travel bag in Navy Jones.
Have a super fantastic day Tina. Thanks for bringing your amazing home and ideas into my home. Just love what you have done!
Kari
Kari@triad.rr.com
Absolutely love the Scout Travel Fast Getaway duffle! Just the right size for an overnight trip to the Met for an evening of Puccini.
ReplyDeleteAs for home entertainment, I'm watching "White Christmas" in #7.
Thanks for a great blog, Tina!
I would choose the Navy Jones! Great giveaway - we all need a great tote.
ReplyDeleteI can see myself today in Choice 14..........it is cold and rainy here - so good day for staying in and watching movies..........all day!!
I love #8! Each person has their own chaise lounge with a cozy throw! The color palette is ideal for movie watching.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, Tina!
~ Wendi ~ xo
I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I can't decide on the movie room...but I know that you will make it your own..anyway!
ReplyDeleteI love the little Crown Jewels bag in Angelina Ballerina Paisley!
ReplyDeleteP.S. My favorite is choice #6! Thanks for the fabulous giveaway! Have a lovely day!
I absolutely love #8! It's classic and simple (can't distract from a great movie, can we?!) but cozy and welcoming. I'd love to watch a movie there.
ReplyDeleteI love the Scout "Pocket Rocket" it would be great to organize files and supplies when I'm on site working at an event! Those colors are so bright and fun, too!
Have the very same scout bag so no need to enter me but I MUST vote for #1--prettiest, most inspiring screening room I have ever seen. Yurns the whole genre on its head and I LOVED it. Thanks SO much for this series!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE #11 and #13!!! What fun choices!! As for Scout, I love the Rocket Pocket in Pink Lady, Def Leopard or CrocAGator Turquoise. If I am perhaps the lucky winner, you can pick the color!! Oh how excited I would be. I LOVE Scout and my husband calls me the "bag lady" because I can't ever turn down a cute bag to carry whatever!!
ReplyDeleteI love to FWWAF in the #1.the décor seems peaceful and calm with cushioned sofa to recline and enjoy the movie to full length in peace , I like the modern style home theatre.
ReplyDeleteI like #7. Love the column/capital detail on the entertainment center.
ReplyDeleteI also like the original Deano tote in raspberry beret paisley please.
Love your blog.
Cindy
bessebug@centurytel.net
My husband and I love your site...great to see the progress that you're making! I don't envy all of the choices that you need to make, though, including the media room! As for the Scout giveaway, a great Weekender is always nice to have and love the Angelina Ballerina Paisley pattern.
ReplyDeleteAlison, I would love to be lucky enough to have any of these rooms, but I love #7. The comfortable sofas, the beautiful wood and the second screen are perfect for my football loving guys in my family. It's also a warm and cozy feeling for watching a movie.
ReplyDeleteI love the scout bags, my choice would be the Weekender. We are always doing long weekends at the beach or off to see my sister in Atlanta and this would be perfect. I love the Weekender in True Britt.
Thanks for a great giveaway chance.
Hope your week is going great. I'm doing catchup from a long beach weekend getaway.........
~Emily
The French Hutch
croc o gator is super chic and perfect for the d and d! Your theater images put my downstairs man cave to shame!!! Love the glamorous 16--a girl and can dream!!! have a great day TIna! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous giveaway!!! I love Scout Bags and I love the Deano bag. My favorite is the Deano bag in Raspberry Beret Paisley.
ReplyDeleteThose theater rooms are gorgeous. I love number 8 and 13.
Room #7 is great- catch the game & watch a movie! Love the 2 TV's!
ReplyDeleteNice Giveaway! I have heard great things about Scout Bags & would love to have the original Deano bag in Croc-o-gator khaki!
What a lot of choices. I like # 7 and #11.
ReplyDeleteAs for the totes I like the 4 boys in the Navy wavy.
Love the Scout 'Fast Get Away' in the Navy Jones!
ReplyDeleteHard to decide on the home movie looks - but First choice is #1-great use of seating, views and storage with glam! Second choice #6 - a multipurpose room with killer built-ins and giant screen; and Third choice is #12 for classic man room with options!
I don't really get media rooms, per se, because I don't really want to spend that much of my life watching TV and I don't watch enough movies to want a special room. That said, #1 is the prettiest and most multi-purpose, imo.
ReplyDeleteI like #7 and #11 -- but I'll pick #7 because the furniture looks more comfortable. And I'd remove the small TV -- no way sports will be on while I'm watching a movie on the big screen!
ReplyDeleteI'll take room #1: Sophisticated for any purpose-- reading (love the bookcases) or drinking martinis. Love the window too and know those must be blackout curtains.I shy away from rooms with only one purpose so my next choice would be the cozy #10. Again bookcases, large window and comfortable place to socialize.
ReplyDeleteI could definitely use the Croc-o-Gator Khaki tote.
The organized woman never has enough bags! Work bag, laptop bag, church bag, car tote bag... I could use an extra room to keep my organizing bags organized! Currently seeking out a clever solution to categorize and tote materials for my confirmation class and the Hang-10 bag is cool and clever to maximize my image with the teen's I teach! Definitely pink or turquoise in color!
ReplyDeleteAnd who can choose just one of these movie rooms? I would have two in my next life: 1, 3, and 9 - pass the popcorn please!
LOVING the Shop-A-Haul-It bag! I use reusable bags for everything, and this one just begs for a shopping trip. :)
ReplyDeleteNumber one please, closely followed by 5, 8 and 10. I have trouble with decisions.
ReplyDeleteI would like to try the Shoulda bag...I am a quilter and my scraps always get out of hand. I think this bag could help me!
Love #1. It's the most versatile with the window and the bookcase. The fabrics are scary light. For the Scout, I'd love the Fast Getaway in Leopard.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love the first one. It's the one that feels lightest, most spacious, sophisticated and comfortable - I like rooms that have a little more flexibility.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with no. 1. I love that TV cabinet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win the bag from Scout.
I love the Deano bag in French Twist Gold.
Jane said....
ReplyDeleteI like the Uptown girl bag. All of their products are great- will do some Christmas shopping. I am sorry some readers have been less than kind. I find your blog and house building so enjoyable. It has been amazing and fun to read about the progress. I do so with keen interest to your detail and not a bit of jealousy-- just happiness for a woman who loves her family and is building a special place to call home.
Good morning...The Scout bags are all beautiful. I like the collapsible storage bag. As for the media room....I have to go with room #1. I like the calmness of the room. I can see myself snuggling up on one of those comfortable sofas and enjoying a great movie such as "The Notebook". Room #14 is also nice for a traditional media room. Thanks for your great blog.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love number 8! Love that everyone gets their own chair, pillow, and cozy blanket! Also love the xyz deano in black and white plaid from Scout. Darling!!!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of media rooms are just plain ugly & unappealing. I would rather be in a library! If I had to choose it would be the last one #17 because it is elegant, decorative , has comfy seats & cool carpet.
ReplyDeleteI can see why you love the tote bags from Scout. My fave is the Pocket Rocket. I like the different pockets as it helps keep me organized-pocket for iphone, pocket for tape measure, pocket for gum and tissues....Looks roomy enough to hold my design binders as well.
ReplyDeleteAs for the media rooms, #1 and #2 are my favorite and each have a different appeal. One is a cozy up with me and watch a movie type of room and #2 is great for having friends and family over. They are all beautiful in their own right.
HI there! I would like the Hillary Duffle in hot pink to go with those new boots you made me buy!! haha. Great giveaway. And for the movie theater room I liked #11. But have you seen the theatre room that is in Barbra Streisands book, My Passion for Design? It is in her home and it blows all of these away~I think you would love it!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling better. 8 looks so amazing, but I might have to go with 14, as I am in a winter spirit. I picture being in a ski chalet and drinking hot cocoa watching a movie!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Original Deano bag!! I am a school nurse and I haul stuff from my car every morning, plus I love bags!
ReplyDeleteI would choose 4, 7 and 13! You're right, it makes you want to go watch a movie :)
They are all beautiful but I would pick number 5 or 10, depending on the space.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm sending you an email today.
Best,
Julie at Belle Vivir
While I've always imagined that I'd love theater seating in my home theater, when given the choice you had me at #1. Those sofas are exactly the place I'd love to curl up after a long day and evening on my feet! The windows are wonderful as well and coming in second, #9.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the XYZ Deano - in the adorable pink check.
Love it!
LOVE the priscilla paisley!! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteOk, 7 (no brainer for me as far as comfort is concerned) and 16 for looks. GORGEOUS!
have anise Tuesday, Tina.
Teresa
xoxo
I love and want the weekender in def leopard !I have been trying to hold back buying as Christmas is coming and I should buy for others not me!
ReplyDeleteI Love #4 very classy and timeless
I'm going with 10 because I love the room and wouldn't really want an actual movie theatre in my house- would prefer a gorgeous/well designed den of sorts and number 10...well it's just about perfect!!1
ReplyDeleteWow, they are all wonderful but I would choose #1, I love the lighter fabrics and soft lighting. Could be a multi functional room as well. It's so beautiful, yet cozy!
ReplyDeleteAs for the Deano tote, I would probably have to go with French Twist Gold, it's classy and timeless. Thanks!
Oh Tina, you've got me going now. I love the original Deano in Mad plaider or in the stripe demux soleils. I got lost (good thing) in their website. So many fabulous sizes and fabric choices. If I win one then I will have to go and get some coordinating pieces. Love the rolling duffle too!
ReplyDeleteThank you and Have a Great Day!
I got so into the media rooms I forgot about the giveaway! Would be hard to choose between the green and white and navy and white striped bag! I am always a pushover for a stripe!
ReplyDeleteI choose #9...thanks for your blog. I love love love to see in my inbox that you have posted.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the original deano tote in def leopard. So cool.
For serious movie viewing (aka no chatting) then it's a toss up between 8 and 14. For casual movie viewing (with plenty of chatter), then I pick 7.
ReplyDeleteLove the Scout line - I'll take an Uptown Girl in the mad plaider, please.
#7 or #14. I designed a couple of award winning home theaters. They are so much fun to design. Remember to make sure your design doesn't interfere with the speakers, etc. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'd choose #7. Our new home has a theatre room that we've just started decorating. Let me tell you, it looks NOTHING like these ones lol (lets just say it's a tad more basic). It is a wonderful feature to have, though, and we've decided to go with a Pacific Northwest theme as we're from Vancouver Island. We have huge photos of Cathedral Grove (temperate rainforest), lithographs of Vancouver harbour in the 1800's and a huge, heavy fishing reels fresh off an old fishing boat. It's slowly coming together =)
ReplyDeleteHi Tina!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly broaden my style horizons! I just got lost on Scout's beautiful site. I see some great Christmas gift ideas here! I think my pick would have to be the Deano in French Twist Gold!
Thanks for the chance to win!!!!!
As far as the home theater, what a hard choice as usual. I will pick 14. Love the bar in the back!
Thanks for a fun visit!
Yvonne
I love rooms 1, 5 and 10. The tote is delightful in Navy Jones which is my choice.
ReplyDeleteSweet pea stripe. Anything in that stripe- Hillary duffle, weeknder, deano, laundry bag. You name it! I like that cozy couch just off the dining room in number 9. Relaxing!
ReplyDeleteScout Bag: I choose #12200 - Capitol Fun...because I live near the Capitol.
ReplyDeleteMedia Room: I choose # 15. Large screen, lots of seating, stars on ceiling, and it just looks like the "reel" deal :) The concession stand is in the back, and I'm ready for a movie marathon!
I really like the first one.
ReplyDeleteI love scout. i carry them in my store and think they are great.
Oh yes....#7 for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove the Capitol Fun tote.
Can't wait to see your finished home!
Media room choice #9. Deano Tote in True Brit. Love your site!
ReplyDeleteI could not choose between 3 and 8. Love the dark walls. Both look great to snuggle up with a big comfy blanket and watch a movie!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Deano bag in the black toile paisley, but I can think of fifty things to store in the Shoulda Bin. Love that.
ReplyDeleteThe theater room - I finally decided if I have one, I'd pick #8. I like the simplicity of the dark walls and those chairs and ottomans, (or are they chaises?) look wonderful. Putting my feet up and watching a movie sounds like heaven.
I usually have trouble deciding between the choices but this time I chose right away, #1.
ReplyDelete#1 or #11 are my choices! As for the totebag, I love the purple paisley!
ReplyDeleteWhat I would give for a movie night in ANY of those incredible spaces!!!! But #1 draws me in. I like that you would be comfy and yet not feel separated from your friends and loved ones.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you are feeling better!!!!!
xoxo Elizabeth
As far as my favorite product regarding entry for the giveaway, I like the "four boys" bag! Large enough to hold anything!
ReplyDeleteI love the Uptown Girl On-The-Go Scout Tote in Mad Plaider. So cute!
ReplyDeleteAs to the viewing rooms, guess I'd have to with #9.
#13 - There could be others that have a bar in the back, but since this is the only one where it's visible, this is the one I choose!
ReplyDeleteI just want recliners and pillows and blankets! And Ryan Gosling, if we're in the "wishing" kind of mood!!
Love all the media rooms, tough choice, but I personally would go with #11 because of the elegant woodwork and it is not the typical media room it is like a library. Love #15, I can see the family hanging out watching movie after movie! As for the great bags, I like the Uptown girl in Rasberry Beret for me and It's a Dawg's life for my puppies!
ReplyDeleteWhat unbelievable choices! I think # 10 looks most inviting to me!! Great images.
ReplyDelete#9 is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAs for the tote, I love the Instant Messenger bag!
All are fabulous rooms. I would pick #17. As far as the bag the Fast Getaway in Navy Jones would be my pick.
ReplyDeleteI like something about each of the media rooms and would have a hard time choosing just one! But, at this time of my life (teenage daughter endlessly entertaining friends, I'd choose #15. It would accomodate a large group and looks like a "real" movie theatre. However, as becoming an empty nester (in the near future), I'd select #8 for the comfort and coziness it exudes.
ReplyDeleteI have the Bungalow Original Deeno bag(in French Twist Gold)on my Christmas wish list...and also really love the Junque Trunk in Sweetpea Stripe!!
Thanks :) Llifestyle12@gmail.com
I love room #17. The carpet is incredible.
ReplyDeleteI liked everything at the Scout/Bungalow site. If I was to purchase just one item I would get the Deano Tote in Def Leopard.
Trudlebug3@gmail.com
It's the very first time I visited this blog! You've got such a wonderful house you're building!!! If you'd let me choose, I'd go with room nr. 8 - looks cosy with all these pillows. :-) The house looks enormous, so it's so great you can go all the way with a movie theatre in the house!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've never heard of Scout, but I love their bags. Especially the Weekender Scout Travel Bag (Angelina Ballerina Paisley) - it's sooo cute in pink! And since I always carry too much stuff around, it would be a great Christmas present. ;-)
Anyway, I'll definitely come here more often and good luck with your blog!

What fabulous rooms. My favorite is number 11. And I just love the original tote in Navy Jones.
ReplyDeleteFirst things first: the French Twist Gold tote!
ReplyDeleteAnd #8...because...oh gosh, those chairs!
Choice #1 for sure!! love it!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Navy Jones Deano! What a neat site!
ReplyDeleteI love the orginal deano in the animal print!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Tina,
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you are feeling better! That is good news, and hopefully with a few visits to the doctors they can give you some meds or something for relief.
I love Scout bags, have a couple already. But I would not mind another, I like origional Deano in Navy Jones.
I hope you have a fabulous week! Take care, Elizabeth
Tina,
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better...my gosh...hope a change in meds helps remedy your "lost in space feeling". Prayers in place with CAT scan. Maybe a nutritionist supervised detox would help cut the build up we get with all the foods we eat. Our foods and ingredients are just not as pure as they use to be. Could also be from your new home construction site...we become more sensitive as we age because we don't know what's in the air we're breathing.
Scout bag choice: Four Boys Bag Jumbo Scout Tote color: Navy Jones
Media Rooms: notice I selected more than one well it just happens I love #4, #12, #15 and #17.
Now let's select some movies shall we...lol.
Have a good day!
Bette
All beautiful media rooms, but I would have to go with Choice #7. Feels cozy, like the sectional sofa.
ReplyDeleteWonderful give-away, love those bags. I have visited their web-site and would choose the day-tripper bag. Thank you for the chance to win...your awesome!
Glad to hear your are feeling better, lets hope it stay like that my friend. Diane
Tina,
ReplyDeleteI like room 9 but it must have the reclining single or double chairs in their too!
I really like the Scout weekender bag!
I'd go for room #8 and the Spirit Liftah bag from the Scout website. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteoh yay, i LOVE scout bags, they are so cute. my mom gives them as xmas presents every year. i would pick the sweetpea striped.
ReplyDeleteand room #2, for sure!!
Choice #10 - I'm not a "media room" type of girl, so this one is more cozy and library-like. And the totes... LOVE the original! (and the weekender...)
ReplyDeleteHands down #1 for me and second goes to #9. I like multi-purpose rooms and from #1 I have a smaller scale mirror hanging in my living room that reminds me of the beautiful backdrop mirror is this room. If I was choosing a tote for me it would be the Scout Black Swan Paisley.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this giveaway! I'm gonna go with the True Brit print! Just adorable!!
ReplyDeletechristyejohnston at aol.com
So much fun! I'm redoing my family room and loved looking at these rooms. My vote goes for #7, relaxed, comfortable and people can see and easily talk with each other. Although I am not sure why there are two Tvs in the room - there are 2, right? By the way, my absolute favorite viewing room is featured in Barbra Striesand's book on the design of her home. Check it out if you get a chance. Swoon!
ReplyDeleteAs for the tote, Angellina Ballerina...perfect for the beach.
thanks,
Joan
I prefer the multifunctional capabilities of Rooms 5 and 11. Wonderful for satisfying varied family interests - playing pool, a game of cards, conversation, absorbed in a great book, etc.
ReplyDeletei can't live without a tote bag. The Weekender in Def Leopard is stunning. Many thanks.
Joy
I love the Collapsible storage bag in any pattern. All of the media rooms are great but I LOVE #1.
ReplyDeleteI would love the coziness of number 7, if I were at home...but if I was on vacation, I would choose number 9....looks very relaxing!
ReplyDeleteThe all had the "Whow Factor".....
#1.....Window and all (of course with the drapes closed to make it that much more cozy). The velvet sofas, the gorgeous cabinetry, timeless design, heck, it had me at hello.
ReplyDeleteLove your bag.....also admiring the "Shop A Haul It". Great stuff.
xo
For your house definitely #7 but I love #1.
ReplyDeleteFor the theater, choice #1 is so modern, yet elegant.
ReplyDeleteFor the Scout contest, like the Weekender Scout Travel Bag in Sweetpea Stripe.
And Finally, love all the house updates - the attention to detail throughout your building process is phenomenal.
I would definitely go for the Def Leopard! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteI love the Angelina Ballerina Paisley. I have not seen that one before. I LOVE Scout. I used a Deano as a pool bag for my 3 kids for 4 years until it was peeling a bit. But that thing had been used to death. They are so durable and light too.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the rooms, I would choose 8. I like 1 a lot too but the mirrors would be too distracting for me I think. I would be looking at everyone looking at the movie. And I also like #3 too .
I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better! I heart all the media rooms but, my favorite is #15
ReplyDeleteWe have big families and that room would accomidate a big crowd. Thanks for the chance to win a tote. I like the Deano tote in navy and white.
OH DEAR! Choice 11 is for me! AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS when I miss two days of blogging!!!! HELLO THERE DEAREST from way down here!!! Anita
ReplyDeleteLOVE the blog..always great info & pics..your new home is beautiful!..love the bags..angelina ballerina paisley daytripper! sheamk4@cox.net
ReplyDeleteI love Media Room #8 - I already have this photo in my dream file!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Scout tote - is the Uptown Girl - love it!!!!!
I would love a media room, especially #5.
ReplyDeleteThe totes are great also. I liked the weekender bag.
abcdjorgensen@comcast.net
After seeing Scout on your blog, Tina...I ordered six! One rolling duffle, one regular duffle and four insulated bags (good for keeping groceries cold)--all for Christmas gifts....but I would LOVE one for me! In the blue paisley, like yours.
ReplyDeleteI like media room #11.
Mini deani tote is great-- love stripes! And I like photo 6 best! Hope I win!
ReplyDelete#15 is just right! We have a media room in our house and it is so fun to watch movies and television in our own home theater without leaving the house.
ReplyDeleteI'm digging Croc o gator khaki for the scout tote!
ReplyDeleteOops, I forgot to add that I really like the Deano in the Priscilla Paisley print.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah and room #1
ReplyDeleteWow, Tina is this a record response? All the rooms scenes are beautiful. My favorite has to be #7. As a lighting designer I always try to let people know about LUTRON. Here in Orange County, they have a great facility with an Experience Center where people can go to see an actual home theater done with proper lighting and dimming. It is a free tour and very informative and impressive.
ReplyDeleteI love the scout duffle in pink.
So, what movie are we watching?
Please. Nobody needs all this. Talk about excess! Lol!
ReplyDeleteThe Deano tote in True Brit is fab! Love the scout stuff!! so durable and CUTE!!! Right now I am carrying my house stuff in my Jon Hart bag, but I know I will need something bigger soon!! We close on our lot tomorrow!! Let the building fun begin!! :)
ReplyDeletedon't love media rooms, but love the movie playing on #12!
Kori W.
hmmm...i posted under a google account...why is the name tuff kid with a chicago bulls logo??? guess that's my 13 yo son's handiwork!
ReplyDeleteps- he is not a tuff kid- more like a well-mannered, sweet, funny young man! but don't tell him i said that! :)
Wow! There are a lot of people who would love the Tote!! The
ReplyDeleteClassic Scout Tote in the Black Swan Paisley is my favourite!!
My favourite to watch all those old movies and new ones... are #1 and #16 - am trying to give in to the family wanting that big screen in the family room - always that challenge to make it look like it belongs!!
Love these fantasies!!
Number 1 I guess I like the home setting more than the theater settings. plus the sofa/chaise looks so comfy!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog!
ReplyDeleteI didn't choose a favourite theatre because the key ingredients that really "make" a home theatre can't be captured in photos. Those ingredients include: acoustics, image quality, sound quality, light control and seating comfort. With all do respect to decorators, these issues often take a back seat to the "look" for many decorators. However, these issues should be worked out with an expert in the home theatre field before the interior designer is called in to deal with the look of the theatre. It is obvious from several of the images above that a number of these theatres were decorator driven rather than technically driven - too much exterior light, too many hard surfaces that will cause the sound to bounce around, difficult seating angles etc.. While the look is important in making a first impression to guests, I strongly encourage you to connect with an acoustic specialist who is sensitive to design issues but who will stand up (nicely) to the decorator to ensure that the "hidden" technical essentials that really make for a great theatre experience are included in the design. Like so much that goes into home building, putting together a home theatre seems fairly straightforward but it is actually complex. The first visual impression is important, but when the lights go down the real "wow" experience will be due to great sound and image quality.
P.S. Apologies for the anonymous posting but I didn't know how to use the other posting options.
Sorry should have said "due respect" not "do respect". My excuse is I'm suffering from a miserable cold.
ReplyDeleteI love the Uptown Girl tote in Raspberry Beret Paisley, but also really love the Capitol Fun one. Oh how to chose?
ReplyDeleteI love room 11. Really all the rooms are amazing, but that one is cozy and looks like the kind of room I'd love to have in my home.
The throws and soft pillows in option 8 made it a winner for me :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you can try out all the patterns on the Scout web site, after going through all the choices I chose the Stripe Deux Soleils tote. I am a nearly qualified school teacher and this would be perfect for me!
If I could choose anything at Scout I would have the Pocket Rocket Multi-Pocketed Scout Tote in the Stripe Deux Soleils. I would love to have everyone's water bottles handy, plus pockets for all the phones etc. jenjenqld@gmail.com
So many cute things to choose from! I love the "sold out" Hillary Duffle in Raspberry Beret Paisley!
ReplyDelete~ Media room #1, cozy, elegant, modern!
ReplyDelete~ Original Deano in Leopard!
~ Thank you for the fun giveaway, they would
be great gifts, too!
Cute Bags I will order one, my favorite is the Pink Lady in the Haul it size. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteMovie time is number 8 or 13. But I love the furniture set up in #1.
leviheart@aol.com
My favorite is the Hilary Duffle travel bag! So adorable :)
ReplyDeleteWow, how difficult the choices!
ReplyDeleteBag...Original Deano in French Twist Gold...mmm...
Theatre seating...Choice 10...just a cozy room in our home...
Fun giveaway!
Love room #8 as you can really curl up to view the movie
ReplyDeletegreat room choices... my first choice would be #1... it is gorgeous, comfortable, light, inviting, and welcoming for any age...( for watching movies you just need the right lighting and room darkening blinds...( 2nd choice would be #10 fore similar reasons..)
ReplyDeleteI too LOVE the Bungalow/Scout products... have a few of them on my wishlist for a year or so...I like the BLACK SWAN PAISLEY in the Dean-o, along with the COOLER CLUTCH & SPIRIT LIFTAH in BLACK SWAN. I also liked the FOUR BOYS BAG in FRENCH TWIST BLACK... they have a cute magazine holder in same pattern also. The other one on my wishlist is the Fast Getaway
Roller Bag in Daily Bubble Blue.
And as for your migraines, be encouraged... I spent half of every month in the hospital or drs offices for migraines and clusters.. for about 30 yrs... and can now say, am migraine free...LOL..as it's true but now other things have taken their place...the important thing is to know that there is hope... if you eve want to talk about it with me, please drop me a line, or we can speak on the phone..
Thanks for a sweet giveaway...

I can't decide between 3 and 9, but the white sofas must be calling me. Love the cozy warm feel of 3 and the ceiling in 9 is AMAZING!! Hope you're having a great week ~
ReplyDeleteI love the Jumbo Boys Bag from Scout/Bungalow. These bags really look both great and utilitarian. I'd love to win one. For a room that actually looks like a theater, my first choice is #16. Next, I also like #1 and #10.
ReplyDeleteLove media rooms no. 1,3,5,9
ReplyDeletebut if i must choose - no. 5. is the winner:
comfortable, light, inviting, and welcoming for any age and it's more like entertainment center.
Tina you are my new Oprah....thanks. I cannot tell you how many amazing items I have found through you I kid you not. When you told me about the Scout bags the other day, I looked them up and loved them also the fact that they were reasonably priced was a plus, so I ordered two as gifts for Christmas and will likely order more. They are great!
ReplyDeleteOn top of other items, like those monogrammed rainboots you recommended that I wear even when its not raining! So thanks, Oprah I mean Tina.
Now onto these gorgeous theaters, many of which I would be only to happy to sit my bottom in pigging out on popcorn, the three way tie for me is between 12, 15 and 17, love each of these luxurious theaters....all stunners to me. Wonderful selection of rooms.
Thank you and so happy you are finally feeling better.
7 or 11 are my picks BUT I'm in love with the furniture in 1. My bag pick is the Weekender Scout Travel bag in Angelina Balerina Paisley. Thanks so much for this chance to dream!
ReplyDeleteMy choice of bag would be the UptownGirl bag.
ReplyDeleteNo question....I could spend a whole week in room #7. Perfection!!
Lisa
Room 1.
ReplyDeleteMy bag would be the original Deano in sweet pea stipe - Fab!
I may have to order the Scout! DO I need another orange bag? Of course!!! I love the plaid and the straps add just enough sophistication to make it a 'take it everywhere' tote!
ReplyDeleteGoing with #11. SOme of the others are more amazing as true theater rooms, but I can't bring myself to go to that level of decadence ...having one room devoted just to movie viewing - 11 looks a bit more multi-purpose...a little reading, a little pool.... But choice 8, completely decadent (sigh)- could even take a snooze in those amazing chairs if the movie was a dud!
When I saw the 4 boys Scout bag I laughed out loud !! Since we have 4 boys and they all fish and hunt I have to have the camo one !!! My choice for movie night #9 reminds me of a tropical island with a pina colada in hand !!!
ReplyDeleteLove the media rooms...I think #1 and #8 are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteMy bag would be the Deano in any of the colors. They are all great!
Media room #1. The others are too massive and masculine.
ReplyDeleteI love the Angelina Ballerina Paisley.
#9 for me please! I love how open it is to the other rooms and the outdoors. You gave us a nearly impossible choice as always, though!
ReplyDeleteStacy
I will choose # 10, it's small and cosy and well decorated. #9 second Ralph Lauren house is beautiful! I pick those two because they look more like living room on houses, media room that look like theaters look cold and impersonal to me like 4, 6, 8 &16. Or too dramatic like 2, 12, & 15.
ReplyDeleteAs an avid athelete I would love to see a post on fitness/spa rooms...will you have a home gym in your new home?
ReplyDeleteI like media rooms 5 and 10. And lurrrrve the Hilary Duffle :)
ReplyDeleteHi, choices 7 or 15 would suit me just fine. Would love to have a media room, and as long as we are dreaming...lets go with something really over the top. Bring on the popcorn with extra butter!
ReplyDeleteChoice #1 caught my attention immediately. So simple and light. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteSO glad to hear your headache is better!!! I sure hope they find something to help get rid of them for good. They are terribly debilitating.
Your comment yesterday made me laugh...the filofax missing would have caused me to stroke.
I love #9 because it looks like there may be a tropical locale attached..but once again any of them really would be fun. And I, too would be ALWAYS watching movies.
As far as the giveaway goes...Original Deano in Croc o Gator Khaki is perfect.
Hugs
Oh my! I'd eat popcorn in any of them! The more cavernous the better. I love the Scout products. I have a mini zippered box in my car for my CD's and a large one for my secret girlie/childhood treasurers waaaaaay up on the top shelf. I even like the crackling sound of the material and how it feels. Is that odd? LOL!
ReplyDeleteP.S. SO glad your headache has passed. Good thoughts on the CT scan. xoxo
ReplyDeleteNo 1 is my fav. Our friends have a theater and I have found that I really don't care for theater seating. I like the idea of snuggling on a couch or sectional to watch a movie at home, whether its family or friends.
ReplyDelete#10! The others are pretty cheesy!!
ReplyDeleteI love #1 and #8!
ReplyDeleteoh and I would LOVE the Pocket Rocket from Scout!
ReplyDeleteTina Tina Tina, I love how you show us show beautiful fantasy rooms though I know many including my own sister has a theater and a mighty pretty one I might add and we spend every Super bowl and New Years eve at their house and its always a party. We love going there.
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous rooms and to speak to "anonymous" up there, if you dont' have something nice to say why bother? I mean couldn't you have just said the one you liked and left it at that, geez! Why bother saying the others are cheesy, cuz its kind of isulting to those of us and its many who like so many of the others but obs you never thought that far!!!!
Anyway, for me its a very dead even tie, between number 7 which is a multi functional room, something for everyone , choice 8 because if the movies stinks you could take one heck of a snooze on those seats and number 17 because that is one decadent theater and though its really souped up, it is gorgeous. Really happy to hear your headache finally went away, hope it stays away for good. These are such fun!
I love so many of the bags but my favorite is Style: Stripe Deux Soleils
ReplyDeleteSize: 19"(W) x15in.(H) x10in.(D)
Price:$35.00

Thanks!!
room #1 is perfect! I lov ethe balance, cozy feel, glam style- everything!! Go with room #1. Its unexpected and FAB!!
ReplyDeleteTina what a great giveaway!! it would be perfect for my supplies to keep at hand during rehab for my hip replacement. (Doing great by the way and following surgeon and therapists orders!)
ReplyDeleteThe Croco-gator Khaki!!Love it!

I love the Hilary Duffle in blue paisley!

I love the Pocket Rocket bag in sweet pea green. So hard to choose, really!
ReplyDeleteThe original deano. Love it.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I really, really enjoy your blog and the generosity of spirit you have!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite as I sit here in the heat (Australia) is definitely #9 but a close second is #1 - which would have been the winner if the screen was a bit bigger!
I also love the Scout bag - perfect for carting all the towels, food, buckets, spades etc to the beach.
Can't wait for tomorrows post on the house update!
Ohhhhh I love choice number 1 and number 5! And for the Deano Scout bag..I love the Navy Jones. Classic and sharp!
ReplyDeleteHugs~
My favorite is #8, I really love the modern look. I've been wanting a bag in True Brit.
ReplyDeleteChoice 10! My dream home theater. Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCHOICE 9
ReplyDeleteChoice #9, but I would prefer more seats as my kids wouldn't be willing to share a chair--no matter how big it is.
ReplyDeleteAs for the bag, I liked the Weekender in Angelina Ballerina or the Counterfeit in Croc-o-Gator. LOVE LOVE LOVE the names of their bags and fabrics!!
Room #10 for me please - just the right size!! And don't you just love Scout totes? I love the classic Brittany stripe!
ReplyDeleteRoom 6. It gives an option for someone to sit and do something at the table as well.
ReplyDeleteCounterfeit in Croc-o-Gator for me please.
Hmm...I would go for choice 16. Well, it’s not just because I saw Jason Statham on the screen ♥ (LOL), but it just really looks cozy to me. This is a great example of a home theater that doesn’t need a lot of details on it. It’s simple as it is, but it’s still has an air of class around it, and not to mention that it looks comfortable too. Have I already mentioned that Jason Statham is on the screen? Haha!
