Guest posting today at Simple Dwellings!
Good morning everyone!! Hoping today is going to be a good day, yesterday was a stressful day and I was happy to call it a day, crawled into bed unusually early just to have it end a little earlier:) Since we are officially in "crunch time" over at the house, unexpected and expected stresses and problems are par for the course but it doesn't make it any more fun! Also do you ever bolt out of bed at the wee hours of the night or morning, your mind racing with all you have to do, often suddenly remembering all kinds of things/deadlines that you need to meet? Well yours truly had such an "awakening" at 4:43 this morning and promptly got up to make up one of my infamous lists. Yes I am the unofficial queen of lists. Its so empowering to cross things off!!
When I was asked by a taste maker like Amber of Simple Dwellings to participate in her popular series, "If my blog were a room", I came running! And I didn't hold back..in fact I took it one step further and made it more like "If my blog were a house", so please stop by and say hello and see what you think! Also if you don't already know all about Simple Dwellings then you must check it out..its a wonderful blog full of beauty, style and pizazz. Please do come on by.........and wishing you a wonderful day!!Come on over, click on header....
P.S. If you missed this weeks "which would you choose" click here, its not too late to cast your vote!
Hi Tina, this sounds like fun! I cannot wait to see what you came up with, will go visit you now.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you didn't have a great night of sleep. I do the same thing, if I'm not having a good day, I go to bed earlier to get "faster" to the next day. I also wake up w/ my mind racing at times... life! :-)
I hope you have a much better day today!
Hugs and kisses to you.

Oh yes I know all about those kinds of days and nights. My daughter is trying out for a big very big part and will find out on Thurs. if she got it so we have been having many sleepless nights, hoping you have a good day and will go check out your guest post.
ReplyDeleteHeading on over to read the guest post.
ReplyDeleteI keep a notepad and book light by my bed for such early a.m. moments... And I can't get to sleep at night unless most of the things on my list have been crossed off! Off to read your guest post and cast my vote...

Tina, you DO have a lot going on and a lot on your mind. It's exciting and stressful at the same time.
ReplyDeleteYou have to take care of YOU! Even a one-hour massage and glass of wine later this evening might help. You have to get rest.
Here I am telling you to get rest and I can hardly wait to visit Simple Dwellings for your post.
This is Mother Hen saying...Have a Good Day..Hugs, Jan
ONE GOOD THING ABOUT STAYING HOME SICK is that I can blog more! I will be right over! Anita
ReplyDeletelooking forward to visiting--hope your day is great! xxbarbara
ReplyDeleteYou and I were up at the same time! I had sheets changed and in the washer before 5am! I am a list maker, also. Now here is where the "sickness of list making" comes in. If I DO something that is NOT on my list? I write it down and then cross it off! yeah...crazy, huh? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteTina- I too am a chronic list maker, have them all over the place, my car, my house, office, etc.....its a method to the madness! You have so much going on its no wonder you are getting up at all hours, I bet once you have moved into your beautiful home, you will sleep like a baby.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your post, am sure it will be beautiful. Hang in there, you are in the home stretch kiddo!
Thanks so much for being a part of the series today! And I truly appreciate the lovely introduction you gave to my blog! :) You are in the home stretch of your gorgeous new home! hang in there. :)

Headed over, can't wait to see!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame you didn't get much sleep, especially since I was also up, we could have had a delightful chat, arrgghh! But the list-making is something I also do, it is a great feeling when checking things off that are completed, accomplished, finito.
ReplyDeleteSending you a smile,
tp
Tina, I'm sorry you're so stressed--understandably so-- but it will all be so worth it when you finally move in. Gotta love those lists...I'm also an unofficial queen of lists. :) All the rooms you posted on Simple Dwellings are perfect...think I'll go take another look. Hope today is less stressful and you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOK this sounds interesting so I'm on my way over!
ReplyDeleteHopefully today is better after a good night's rest. Will follow you all over the internet. Lately it's the only way I'm going to be taking a trip. :) Have a good one today.
ReplyDeleteI really dislike when I have those panic inducing wake up in the middle of the night, everything I need to do running through my head nights! Sounds like you are successfully getting through your to-do list!! Off to check out your guest post...
ReplyDeleteGood morning Ms. Tina,
ReplyDeleteFinally coming up for air... But where on Earth do you get all your energy from? I need to come over soon and find out what kind of water you are drinking...
Warm hugs to you - hopping over.
